Analysis of Changes in the Actual Condition of Distance Learning due to COVID-19 (COVID-19에 따른 원격 수업 운영 실태의 변화 분석)

  • In this paper, the results of previous studies and surveys conducted in this study were compared and analyzed to find out how the actual condition of distance learning being conducted due to COVID-19 is changing. As a result, it was found that the'content-oriented class' is being used the most in the current online class, and teachers are spending a lot of time preparing for class. In addition, it was found that' providing appropriate contents as learning materials' is the first item to be supported for online classes. Therefore, in order to improve online classes in the future, it is needed that learning materials that can be used to create class content should be provided to teachers sufficiently. Also, IT equipment and network expansion and the training of teachers for distance learning should be provided.

University students' efficacy in real-time online class as alternative methodology due to Corona virus(COVID-19) events (코로나 바이러스(COVID-19) 사태로 인한 대체 방법으로서의 실시간 온라인 수업 참여에 대한 대학생의 효능감)

  • This study was designed to find out the efficacy of college students' lecture participation in online real-time lectures conducted at university due to the Corona virus events. Participants in this study are 701 students attending the W University in the J region and participating in real-time online lectures. The tools of this study consisted of four factors: interaction, learning improvement, adaptation, and accessibility. The results of this study are as follows: First, accessibility is the highest efficacy among college students' real-time online lectures participation and interaction is the lowest. Second, the efficacy of real-time online lecture participation of university students differed according to gender, grade, major, and access devices. This study is meaningful in that it confirmed the applicability of real-time online teaching method due to corona virus and confirmed the applicability of real-time online teaching as a method to prepare for the arrival of full-scale distance education in the post-Corona era. Lastly, it was suggested that the online class management method and support for each college major reflect the changes of the times.

  • 인터넷의 발달로 온라인 원격강의나 E-Learning 형태의 교육이 많이 확산되었다. 온라인 교육의 확산으로 웹을 기반으로 하는 클라이언트 소프트웨어들이 많이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 특히 교과목의 특성상 실습위주로 진행되는 프로그래밍 관련 교과목에서는 자동화 된 과제평가 시스템이 필요하다. 프로그래밍 과제평가 시스템에서는 과제제출, 소스코드 업로드, 컴파일 및 실행, 채점, 표절검사 등의 과제평가를 위한 기본적인 작업들을 수행된다. 위와 같은 작업들이 모두 평가시스템 서버에서 진행되기 때문에 서버에 많은 부하가 걸린다. 또한 공정한 평가를 위해 보안이 최우선적으로 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 클라이언트 기술을 이용한 과제평가 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 시스템에서는 과제평가 시스템의 서비스를 분산시켜 시스템의 부하를 줄이고, 보안을 향상시킴으로써 학생들에게 공정한 평가를 가능하게 하였다.

Research of Verifying the Remote Test Answer Sheets Authentication (원격시험 컴퓨터활용 답안지 진본성 검증에 관한 연구)

  • Development of the Internet has brought many changes in methods of education and assesment. When enforcing the on-line distance education, the tests to check the outcomes of the learning are taken on the Internet. The current trends of education evaluation are focused on the types of questions and the detachments of exam proctor but verifying the authentication of answer sheet. There are several forms to make answers; selection type, short-answer type, write-out answer type, practical exercise type, etc. All the forms can be done on the Internet except the practical exercise type because the source of the examinee's answer sheet is unreliable. In this paper, we made the verification system to solve the doubt by setting the proved information on the answer sheet. Putting the information down to confirm the authenticity during the exam on the server is distinct character of this system. After the test finished, the system will operate when examinee turn in the answer sheet.

  • As the school was in crisis due to the COVID-19, e-Learning was extended. Although it was difficult for everyone, e-Learning were stabilized with the enthusiasm and efforts of school teachers. Online education in Korea, called 'K-edu' is being promoted by school teachers in COVID19, and is considered an important area of future education beyond the post corona. Therefore, analyze the meaning of K-edu experienced by school teachers, studying changes in the educational paradigm in the Post-COVID era is very important in establishing the direction and content of future education. In this study described the K-edu experienced by school teachers in response to Corona 19 as 'changed daily life of school teachers', 'changes in schools', 'difficulties felt by teachers' and 'proposals for K-edu' through the qualitative research method FGI. Based on this, the characteristics of K-edu that changed through COVID-19 were analyzed as 'expansion of educational space', 'expansion of educational form' and 'highlighting the importance of face-to-face education'. Through this study, we hope that K-Edu led by school teachers will serve as a cornerstone for leading the world beyond Korea.

  • 초고속 인터넷의 확산으로 인해 교육시스템이 서서히 바뀌어가고 있다. 칠판과 책, 노트, 펜을 이용한 수업이 빔 프로젝트와 컴퓨터를 통한 수업으로 대체되어가고 있고, 나아가 인터넷을 이용한 사이버 교육시스템이 점차 확산되고 있다. 사이버 교육을 통해 공간의 제약성을 무너뜨리고, 교통비와 이동 시간 등을 절약할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다운로드한 강의 자료를 Off-Line 상에서 반복 학습 할 수 있다는 커다란 장점이 있다. 이런 사이버 원격 교육에는 크게 3가지의 데이터, 즉 음성, 화상 및 판서 데이터가 있는데, 본 논문에서는 이 데이터들을 어떻게 하여 효율적으로 데이터를 관리할 수 있는 지, 그리고 강의 자료를 제작시 어떻게 하여 강의 제작 및 수정이 용이할지에 대해 그 구현 방안을 제안한다.

Study on Curriculum Model for Media Education Expert -Basis on Online University- (미디어 교육 전문가 양성을 위한 교육과정 모델 연구 -온라인 대학을 중심으로-)

  • Since the Media law recently passed, the media's influence has further enhanced than before. However, in reality, systematic media education can't catch up a trend of the fast growing media culture development. The new paradigm is much needed in getting rid of utilizing previous ICT training tool but rather using a creative and critical new role model. This study, media education in schools outside the school, as well as to the proper education of the active and systematic media education system as a way to create a top integrated media that is responsible for training new teachers to offer courses to train professionals. To change fragmentary and unsystematic media education system having been implemented to more professional, systematic and concrete, it is proposed that 3 systematic courses media literacy course, media story telling course and media production course should be implemented.

Generative AI parameter tuning for online self-directed learning

  • This study proposes hyper-parameter settings for developing a generative AI-based learning support tool to facilitate programming education in online distance learning. We implemented an experimental tool that can set research hyper-parameters according to three different learning contexts, and evaluated the quality of responses from the generative AI using the tool. The experiment with the default hyper-parameter settings of the generative AI was used as the control group, and the experiment with the research hyper-parameters was used as the experimental group. The experiment results showed no significant difference between the two groups in the "Learning Support" context. However, in other two contexts ("Code Generation" and "Comment Generation"), it showed the average evaluation scores of the experimental group were found to be 11.6% points and 23% points higher than those of the control group respectively. Lastly, this study also observed that when the expected influence of response on learning motivation was presented in the 'system content', responses containing emotional support considering learning emotions were generated.

Analysis on Acceptance and Use of Technology for Elementary School Teachers in Telepresence Robot-assisted Learning (원격 로봇보조학습에 대한 초등교사의 기술수용도 분석)

  • Telepresence robot-assisted learning can provide opportunities of education for students who are in vulnerable physical, intellectual, cultural or environmental conditions. It is to be applied in international virtual education for global citizenship education. To date, the study of acceptance model has been conducted only for preservice teachers, and post-intention for use is not considered. This paper identified whether there are significant differences by gender or years of experience from elementary school teachers on it and the basic factors that affect the acceptance intentions for it. Factors related to intention to use for a telepresence robot were investigated, and a questionnaire about post-intention for use was made after participants operated. The results showed that elementary school teachers did not have a significant difference in each factor by gender. The experienced teachers showed no difficulty in using it. It was shown that PU, ATT, PENJ, SI and Ttrust were all extremely significant factors to affect acceptance intentions. It will be possible to establish educational information policies based on the acceptance intentions of elementary school teachers on telepresence robot-assisted learning.

Minimization of Jumpy Quality of Display by Locations of Replied Turns on Tree-based Conversational Interface (트리 기반 대화 인터페이스에서 응답 위치에 의한 대화 창 이동의 최소화)

  • 본 논문에서는 트리 기반 대화 인터페이스에서 수신되는 대화 메시지를 기록하는 위치에 의한 대화 창의 이동을 최소화하는 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 트리 기반 대화 인터페이스에서 수신되는 대화 메시지의 응답 관계에 따라 대화 메시지를 기록하는 위치가 분산되어 위치할 수 있다. 이러한 다양한 위치에 의하여 대화 인터페이스에서 대화 창의 이동이 많아짐으로 대화자가 대와의 내용을 파악하기 어렵다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 트리 기반 대화 인터페이스에서 대화자가 최근 접근한 대화 메시지 정보를 이용하여 대화창의 이동을 최소화하는 방법을 기술한다. 적용 예로서 XML과 JAVA를 이용하여 구현하였으며 응용분야로는 온라인 게임과 원격 교육 등이다.
