  • 본 논문에서는 배터리의 노화에 따른 내부 저항 및 전압변동(Differential Voltage; DV)곡선 변화를 실시간으로 추정하는 SOH (State of Health) 알고리즘을 개발한다. 개발된 알고리즘은 정확한 내부 저항 추정을 위해 동작 및 측정 환경에 따른 고주파 통과 필터의 최적 설계 방안을 제안하며 동적 전류 특성을 고려한 DV곡선의 온라인 업데이트 로직을 이용한다. 알고리즘의 정확도는 단전지 시험 결과를 기반으로 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

A Technical Trend on UHF Techniques for On-Line PD Monitoring and Site Testing for Transformer (전력용 변압기의 온라인 PD 모니터링과 시험을 위한 UHF 기술 동향)

  • A field-oriented UHF system for on-line PD monitoring of transformers is designed, which has been installed inside the oil tank of a transformer. This system has successfully captured long intermittent discharge signals that hadn't been detected through conventional techniques, and solved the problem successfully. The results demonstrate that UHF technique has great advantages for on-line PD monitoring of transformers. By adopting the peak detection technique, it becomes easy and effective for the transplantation of the phase-resolved pattern recognition technique from conventional method to UHF method, and then to realize continuous on-line monitoring, source characterization and trending analysis.

  • This study aimed at characterizing policy directions to foster competent medical technologists by analyzing the opinions of professors and medical technologists regarding university education and national licensing systems. An online survey questionnaire was distributed to 255 professors and 4,000 medical technologists in August of 2016. Fifty-nine professors (23%) and 1,099 medical technologists (27.7%) responded to the survey. The results were evaluated using descriptive statistics and comparative analysis. Professors and medical technologists agreed that there needs to be an improvement and standardization in both education at universities and practical training at hospitals. Moreover, both groups also thought that it was necessary to reform practical examinations and make improvements in the current licensing system. According to the survey results, professors and medical technologists thought that, the improvement of the quality of university education and hospital practical training should be essential, and the reform of existing national licensing examination should be necessary.

Developing a Student Evaluation Instrument for College Teaching (대학강의 평가도구 개발)

  • In using lecture evaluation methods to improve the quality of education, most universities need to reflect the changes in the educational environment. The transformation of university education into a mixed learning environment blending face-to-face education and online education necessitates the development of appropriate lecture evaluation items. For this purpose, we analyzed the items and the factor analysis for the students of C university in Daejeon. The primary data were carried out with 47 measurement items in 10 domains, such as planning and preparation of lectures, which were found through previous research analysis. Secondary data were validated by using the items confirmed through analysis of preliminary test data. The study results showed that 20 items including six domains such as planning and preparation of lectures, learning materials, learning tasks, instruction media, online course test and grades were derived. These study results suggest that universities lectures should be evaluated to ensure improvement.

A Web-based Monitoring System of Class Status (웹기반 학업상태모니터링시스템의 구현)

  • Computer based teaming system has considerable influence upon teaching technique and teaming efficiency. It is possible to make a learner-oriented teaching in the online learning system. In this case, it can provide easily and immediately learner with various information that relate to class status, for example, attendance, examination score and so on. In the case of conventional off-line education, however, it is inefficient to provide the information of class status for learners compared with on-line system. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system of class status which can provide various information of teaming status for learners, instructors and advisors. It is useful to advise student's course work and job. The main purpose of this system is to prepare a monitoring system of class status on a web based e-class system. It achieves self-monitoring systems which provide a feedback data as a result of class for students.

An Explorative Case Study of Flipped College General English Class (대학 일반영어 플립드 러닝 수업 방식의 탐색적 사례연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the potential of flip learning in Korea and to explore the possibilities of university English education. To this end, participants are sought for classes wherein general English class is taught and the researcher is in charge of teaching. 25 students of media-English class is chosen for the study. Instruments for the study include class evaluation and feedbacks, mid-term and final exams, group performative evaluation, on-line class views and participations. The findings of the study are: As students progress in flipped learning classes, their exam results significantly improved, and their performative evaluation results also improved significant across different groups. The effects are more eminent among higher levels of students, but students with mid and low level of English still improved significantly once they engage themselves in preview activity on a regular basis and self-directedly.

Analytic Comparison of LCL Filter Characteristics of Three-phase Grid-connected Inverter by On/Off-line Simulation Tools (온/오프라인 시뮬레이션 툴을 이용한 계통연계형 인버터의 LCL 필터 특성 분석비교)

  • The characteristics of the LCL filter for grid-connected inverters have been discussed in academia and industry. An online simulation tool was applied to compare and analyze the difference between the LCL filter and L filter. LCL filters were modeled and simulated using a range of professional simulation simulators, and the LCL filters were found to have good filtering effects for high-frequency harmonics. First, this paper summarizes the transfer functions of the LCL filter and provides the Bode plot diagram. The accuracy and validity of the filter attenuation characteristics were confirmed by a fast Fourier transform based on off-line simulation tools, such as PSIM and MATLAB, depending on the given parameters of the LCL filter. Finally, the Typhoon HIL402 real-time simulation was performed for hardware in the loop simulation to verify the actual filtering characteristics of the LCL filter.

  • This study applied effective playful learning to increase the learning motivation of non-CS major students to help them achieve learning and to successfully operate online SW liberal arts classes for 560 students. As a result of analyzing the students' reflection journals, most of the students accepted the 'white radish' of dialect names as fun playful learning in the process of learning local variables and global variables. And they were surprised and amazed at discovering unexpected contents in our SW class. It was found that they experienced delight in learning, learning-flow, confidence, and intrinsic motivation. In the final term exam at the end of the semester, it was confirmed that the correct rate of 92% for questions related to local and global variables was higher than the average rate of other questions' correctness of 67.1%.

The Perception of Pre-service English Teachers' use of AI Translation Tools in EFL Writing (영작문 도구로서의 인공지능번역 활용에 대한 초등예비교사의 인식연구)

  • With the recent rise in the use of AI-based online translation tools, interest in their methods and effects on education has grown. This study involved 30 prospective elementary school teachers who completed an English writing task using an AI-based online translation tool. The study focused on assessing the impact of these tools on English writing skills and their practical applications. It examined the usability, educational value, and the advantages and disadvantages of the AI translation tool. Through data collected via writing tests, surveys, and interviews, the study revealed that the use of translation tools positively affects English writing skills. From the learners' perspective, these tools were perceived to provide support and convenience for learning. However, there was also recognition of the need for educational strategies to effectively use these tools, alongside concerns about methods to enhance the completeness or accuracy of translations and the potential for over-reliance on the tools. The study concluded that for effective utilization of translation tools, the implementation of educational strategies and the role of the teacher are crucial.

  • 언제, 어디서나, 어떤 기기와도 접속을 가능하게 하는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시대가 다가오고 있다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이 가능하기 위해서는 기본적으로 사람과 사물을 유일하게 식별하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 서비스가 제공되어야한다. RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)는 자동 인식 및 데이터 획득 기술의 하나로 사람의 작업이나 판단을 요구하지 않으면서 객체의 ID를 자동적으로 취득하고 온라인으로 관련정보를 자동 처리하는 기술이다. 즉, 차세대 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 기반의 기술이다. 현재 신성장 동력 산업의 하나로 RFID가 선정되었으며, 다양한 응용서비스 시험 사업과 관련 기술의 개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 RFID 활용 사례를 파악하여 기업들이 새로운 비즈니스 가치를 창출하기 위한 전략을 수립하는데 도움을 주고자 한다.
