In this paper, we analyzed the misconceptions and errors incurred during factorization learning. We also examined whether online individualization classes had a positive effect on students' mathematical achievement. The experiment was conducted for 4 weeks (16 times in total) on middle school juniors in rural areas of Gyeonggi Province, where the influence of private extra education was small. In the class, the 'Google Classroom' was used as a LMS, the video lecture was uploaded to YouTube, and the teacher interacted with the students through "Zoom" and "Facetalk". In the online class situation, students' assignments and test answers were checked in real time through 'Google Classroom', and immediate feedback was provided to the experimental class group's students. However, for the control group students, feedback was provided only to those who desired. A total of 7 achievement evaluations were conducted in the order of pre-test, formative evaluation (5 times), and post-test to confirm the change in students' ability improvement and achievement. Through the formative evaluation analysis, it was possible to grasp the types of errors and misconceptions that occured during the factorization process. Students' errors were divided into four types: theorem or definition distortion error, functional errors such as calculation, operation, and manipulation, errors that do not verify the solution, and no response. As a result of ANCOVA, the two groups did not show any difference from the 1st to 4th formative assessment. However, the 5th formative assessment and post-test showed statistically significant differences, confirming that online individualization classes contributed to improvemed achievement.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of flipped learning through EBSmath on Students' 'rate and ratio' learning. By increasing demands for change in education, an innovative teaching and learning paradigm, 'Flipped Learning', has been presented and drawing attentions. In South Korea, Flipped Learning is also highly recognized for its effectiveness by many scholars and various media. However, this innovative learning model has limitations in application and expansion due to the excessive burden of class preparation of teachers. As remote learning becomes more active, it would be possible to overcome the limitations of Filliped learning by using the platform provided by the Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS). EBSmath is an online learning module that is designed to assist students' self-directed learning. Thus, EBSmath would reduce teachers' burden to prepare mathematics classes for the application of Flipped Learning; and led to students' better understanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving. In this study, the effect of Flipped Learning through EBSmath on learning 'rate and ratio' was investigated. In order to scrutinize the effects of flipped learning, students' achievement and mathematical disposition were examined and analyzed. Students' achievement, specifically, was divided into two subcategories: concept understanding and problem solving. As a result, Flipped learning through EBSmath had a positive effect on students' 'rate and ratio' problem solving. In addition, a statistically significant change was identified in the 'willingness', which is subdomain of students' mathematical disposition.

Since Covid-19, many educational institutions no longer view online learning as an additional material, but use it as their main learning tool. In this study, we tried to summarize the definition of smart learning and examined how smart learning math classes affect academic achievement, mathematical interest, and attitudes. We manipulate groups that conducted smart learning and groups that conducted face-to-face learning, and compare academic performance, mathematical interest, and attitudes after six weeks of learning. As a result, we found that the smart learning group had a large values in all three factors compared to the face-to-face learning group. We also found moderating effect. Students with lower grades largely improved their academic achievement scores as the difference in attitude changes through smart learning compared to those with higher grades.
The purpose of this study was to develop the basic design principles for the engineering mathematics teaching model that supported college students to become collaborative problem solvers. For this purpose, the following four design principles were drawn from the steps of systems approach, especially with consideration of needs of engineering students, professors, curriculum and relevant research on mathematical education. As a result, the four design principles for the engineeering mathematics teaching model were drawn as follows: (1) Improve students' basic mathematical learning abilities through repetition and elaborative practice of the basic mathematical concepts and principles, (2) Develop students' problem solving abilities through collaborative projects or learning activities with peers, (3) Facilitate students' reflection and provide teacher's monitoring and prompt feedback during their learning process, and (4) Build up online learning environments that enable students to become self-regulated learners.
This study noted that a survey of teachers in a leading study conducted in Korea during the Pandemics period pointed out that the "real-time interactive" classes account for a significantly small portion of the remote class format. Contentually, the study reported cases of developing and applying "real-time interactive" class materials based on "planar decision requirements" of high school mathematics subject geometry. The teacher who participated in the development was a math teacher who worked at a Seoul-based high school with 28 years of high school teaching experience, and a teacher who was in charge of geometry in the math department in 2020. The development teacher decided to develop real-time interactive classes. In particular, the materials were developed by organizing the class guidance plan in four stages: 'Meeting and Class Guidance', 'Giving motivation', 'Suggesting tasks', 'Individual Investigative Activities and Teacher Feedback' and 'Reflection and Evaluation' which were selected through the process of selecting the class contents and selecting online class tools. At this time, the development teacher produced and presented about five minutes of video material using the videooscribe, a whiteboard animation program. And in case of task number 8, it consisted of recording the students' free thoughts after class, which served as a role of assessment by students themselves and providing feedback to their teachers. This study is a case study that introduces a series of courses in which field teachers develop class materials, and in addition to presenting class materials that can be applied directly to classes, is a result of a study that focuses on the role of presenting samples for future class data development. The materials developed were verified as class materials based on the opinions of the students who participated in the class and the results of the evaluation commissioned by the three math teachers.

Generally, a Learning Games made based on Off-line. But Today, Web based learning has been used for many educational system by aid of the development of internet technique. If Off-line learning game serviced by On-line learning game, can provide learner with interesting and growing learner's study will. In this paper, I design the Mathematical of Elementary school Roll playing game for learning based on On-line. This is matched the point of On-line game with the point of Learning. A Learner's mathematical technic will be improve by The Mathematical On-line Roll playing game for Elementary school student. A student's ability of self directed learning and solving problem is expended too.
Despite the importance of learning to do mathematical proofs, researchers have reported that not only secondary school students but also undergraduate students have difficulties in learning proofs. In this study, we introduced a new toll for learning proofs and explored the reliability and the validity of peer assessment on proofs. In the course of a university in Seoul, students were given weekly proof assignments prior to class. After solving the proofs, each student had to assess other students' proofs. The inter-rater reliabilities of weekly peer assessment was higher than .9 over 90 percent of the observed cases. To examine the validity of peer assessment, we check whether students' assessments were similar to expert assessment. Analysis showed that the equivalence has been quite high throughout the semester and the validity was low in the middle of the semester but rose by the end of the semester. Based on these results, we believe instructors can consider the application of peer assessment on proving tasks as a tool to help students learn.
The purpose of this study is to design, develope, and deploy of online game content in middle school mathematics. This study analyzed related literature review, case studies, and educational game web sites for seeking better applicable design strategies. After serious discussion with experts based the design ideas, this study established its own educational game design model and it was applied to develop algebraic function lesson for middle school students. The developed content also was deployed in real classroom setting to see how students received the game contents and how. well they processed the design procedures and activities. We found that educational online game content, especially when applied to mathematics subject, can be effective in students interests and their motivations. We also observed that there were a few managerial errors such as need for detailed guidance for game, cumulative game results for later feedback, and so on. This study concluded that educational game contents should be able to widely spread out to get students' learning interests and strong motivation as well. We suggest that related research should be done toward to other subject than mathmatics and various students age groups.
G-learning, based on online game, virtual reality activities and communities, is considered as a fresh, differentiated idea at learning which drives learners' interest and attention. The paper is to analyzed effectiveness of G-learning at the mathematics classes in elementary school. Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in Seoul are selected as an experimental groups and their achievement scores are measured. The difference between G learning group and textbook group was significant. This result shows that G-learning has a positive effect on learning.
We had a full scale of literature survey and case survey of mathematics Flipped Learning class models. The purpose of this study is to design and adopt a Flipped Learning 'Linear Algebra' class model that fis our need. We applied our new model to 30 students at S University. Then we analyzed the activities and performance of students in this course. Our Flipped Learning 'Linear Algebra' teaching model is followed in 3 stages : The first stage involved the students viewing an online lecture as homework and participating free question-answer by themselves on Q&A before class, the second stage involved in-class learning which researcher solved the students' Q&A and highlighted the main ideas through the Point-Lecture, the third stage involved the students participating more advanced topic by themselves on Q&A and researcher (or peers) finalizing students' Q&A. According to the survey, the teaching model made a certain contribution not only to increase students' participation and interest, but also to improve their communication skill and self-directed learning skill in all classes and online. We used the Purposive Sampling from the obtained data. For the research's validity and reliability, we used the Content Validity and the Alternate-Form Method. We found several meaningful output from this analysis.
