  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of online information literacy instruction as liberal arts course offered at Sungkyunkwan university. For this purpose, Curriculum was designed in the way of interactive online tutorials. And the results of pre-and post-tests and the term-end student course evaluation data were analyzed. The results were as follows. Five basic information literacy competencies were improved through Online course. And the effect of Online instruction did show the statistical significance. but had a difference by department. Also, There appeared to be a relatively high level of Students' satisfaction with the curriculum. Therefore, this study revealed that online information literacy instruction as liberal arts course is a highly effective method for teaching information literacy to undergraduate students.

  • Due to a lack of teachers and available classrooms, high school students are not able to take the elective courses of their choice. In order to solve this problem with online instruction, I have used the following methods: First, I conducted a literature study to examine the concepts and models of online instruction. Second, I compared the number of students who took the CSAT subject tests with the number of students who enrolled in optional courses through KEDI's Education Statistics Services. Using the data gathered from this comparison, I could predict the demand for each optional course. Finally, I proposed amending the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; the Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; the General Statement Curriculum of High Schools; and the Guidelines for Recording School through the expert interviews for on-line instruction in order to establish online instruction for high school students.

  • Multiple-choice survey types have been mainly performed to analyze students' needs for online classes. However, in order to analyze the exact needs of students, unstructured data analysis by answer for essay question is required. Big data is applied in various fields because it is possible to analyze unstructured data. This study aims to investigate and analyze what students want subjects or topics for software lecture in general education that process on non-face-to-face online teaching methods. As for the experimental method, keyword analysis and association analysis of big data were performed with unstructured data by giving a subjective questionnaire to students. By the result, we are able to know the keyword what the students want for software lecture, so it will be an important data for planning and designing software lecture of liberal arts in the future as students can grasp the topics they want to learn.

  • Nowadays, the intelligent education system has been studied using the self-directed learning ability. It can connect to the online virtual university and it is based on web technology that can be accessed anywhere anyplace. In order to implement the intelligent tutoring system, the student's weak and strong subjects must be first determined in real time, it proposed level learning capabilities and security algorithms in this paper. Moreover, in this paper, to implement the intelligent education tutoring system it proposed qr code and student level learning simulation.

  • For students majoring in Architecture or Architectural Engineering, describing a building with pictures and signs is equal to expressing his/her opinion with sentences and presentations. CAD (computer aided design) is a method of describing buildings, and is used practically in architecture-related companies. Many universities prescribe CAD instruction as a compulsory subject, and ABEEK (Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea) requires an introduction to CAD as a basic subject for visual expression. The Architectural Drawing and CAD class in the department of Architectural Engineering of J University is a 2-credit course, with 4 hours of lectures per week. Relative to other subjects, this is insufficient for practical study. Thus, to make up for this insufficient time, the class has adopted a Blended learning system that mixes off-line and on-line classes. The objective of this research is to introduce Blended learning, and to give a case study of the CAD class using Blended learning.

A study on the comparative analysis of learning effects between offline face-to-face classes and asynchronous online classes - Focusing on lecture evaluation and a final exam question in the 'HTML5 Web Programming' course (오프라인 면대면 수업과 비동기식 온라인 수업의 학습효과에 대한 비교분석 연구 - 'HTML5 웹 프로그래밍' 과목의 강의평가 및 기말고사 문항을 중심으로)

  • This study intends to analyze the learning effect of asynchronous online classes used in education fields around the world after the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, we compared and analyzed the lecture evaluation and final exam questions of the HTML5 web programming course, which was conducted offline in 2019 and asynchronously online in 2020 due to COVID-19. As a result of the analysis, no significant difference was drawn between the two teaching methods in the lecture evaluation score and final exam score. However, contrary to concerns about the application of online classes to the entire curriculum, the lecture evaluation and final exam scores of the video-based online classes were high, suggesting the possibility that online classes could be more effective than offline classes if well organized and managed in the future.

  • This study was conducted to compare the effects of student-generated questions (SGQ) and online quiz-based learning (OQL) applied to a physiology and a pharmacology course with 173 nursing students in total. The levels of learning motivation of all participants at 15th week decreased significantly compared with 8th week. There were no statistical difference on learning motivation, communication, and critical thinking between SGQ and OQL, and regardless of the order SGQ and OQL were applied. However, the level of learning satisfaction in students taking pharmacology course was significantly higher in OQL than SGQ (t=2.184, p=.003). We suggest that either SGQ or OQL or both SGQ and OQL be used throughout a semester in biological nursing science subjects without changing teaching strategy during a semester.

  • In this study, the difference in resilience was analyzed based on the results of the microprocessor class for the group who temporarily conducted online learning due to COVID-19 and made a cross-school course. As a result of the study, the resilience value in online learning was found to be less than 150 in 12, 150 to less than 180 in 33, and 180 or more in 10. On the other hand, the resilience value in offline learning was found to be less than 150, 8 people, 150 or more, 180, 30, 180 or more, 17. Therefore, in subjects that teach hardware and software at the same time, such as a microprocessor, it is necessary to proceed with offline learning that can establish a laboratory learning environment, and when proceeding with online learning unavoidably due to COVID-19, the theory is the same as other theoretical subjects. Content should be focused on.
