A Parametric Study on Effects of Column Shortening Analytical Correction Using Measured Results in RC Tall Buildings (RC 고층 건물에서 계측 결과를 이용한 기둥축소 해석보정의 효과에 대한 변수 연구)

  • A parametric study for analytical correction using measurement results was performed to minimize errors in the predictions of column shortening in RC tall building. The parameters of the column shortening analytical correction are the execution standard of analytical correction, the value of the analytical correction, and the measurement location, and the analytical correction models with the parameters were applied to the construction sequence analysis of a 41-story RC building to compare and analyze the correction effect according to the parameter. The reduction ratio of the error value for each floor was compared with the number of corrections and the total corrected value, and it was confirmed that the error tended to be minimized when the execution standard of analytical correction was performed based on a regular interval, when the analysis correction value was corrected by the error value, and when the measurement position was measured every floor. From this, it was confirmed that the most appropriate analytical correction model can be derived by applying multiple analytical correction models to the actual analysis model.

Utility of Gridded Observations for Statistical Bias-Correction of Climate Model Outputs and its Hydrologic Implication over West Central Florida (기후 모델 결과의 통계적 오차 보정과 수문 모델링 적용을 위한 격자 단위 자료의 유용성 평가)

  • 강우의 관측망 확장과 위성 자료 및 기후 모델을 이용한 격자 단위자료가 개발 및 보급됨에 따라 다양한 자료의 분야별 활용성에 대한 연구의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지역 기후 모델 산출물의 오차 보정을 위한 격자 관측자료의 활용성을 평가하였다. 또한 통합 분포형 수문모델을 이용하여, 보정한 기후모델 결과의 수문 모의를 위한 기후 입력 자료로써의 적합성을 검토하였다. 보정된 결과는 각 관측자료의 월별 평균 강우량과 공간 분포를 비교적 잘 재현하였다. 한편 연강우량 시계열에 있어 그 양상은 잘 재현된 가운데 보정되지 않은 오차를 일부 포함하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 점 관측자료로부터 추정된 시험 지역내 172개 소유역에 대한 일평균 강우량 자료와 비교해 볼 때 관측자료의 형식이나 정확성보다 기후모델의 불확실성에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다. 수문 모의 결과, 격자 자료를 이용하여 보정한 강우 입력자료는 수문 모델의 검보정에 이용된 소유역 단위 강우 자료를 이용한 결과에 상응하는 활용성을 보여주었다. 또한 강우의 공간 분포를 고려하지 않고, 시험유역 전체에 대한 평균 강우량을 입력 자료로 이용한 결과를 통해 기후 자료의 공간 분포와 관측 밀도의 중요성을 확인하였다.

Assessment of Positioning Accuracy based on Medium- and Long-range GPS L1 Relative Positioning using Regional Ionospheric Grid Model (중·장기선 GPS L1 상대측위에서 격자형 지역 전리층 모델 적용에 따른 측위 정확도 영향 평가)

  • The ionospheric delay is the largest error source in GPS positioning after the SA effect has been turned off. The ionospheric error can be easily removed by using ionospheric-free combinations but it is only restricted for dual-frequency receivers. Therefore, in this study, the regional ionospheric grid model was developed for single-frequency receivers. The developed model was compared with GIM to validate its accuracy. As a result, it yielded RMSE of 3.8 TECU for 10 days. And L1 medium- and long-range relative positioning was performed to evaluate positioning accuracy improvements. The positioning accuracy was improved by 46.7% compared with that without any correction of ionosphere and troposphere and was improved by 14.5% compared with that only tropospheric correction.

Study on Static Pressure Error Model for Pressure Altitude Correction (기압 고도의 정밀도 향상을 위한 정압 오차 모델에 관한 연구)

  • In GPS/INS/barometer navigation system for UAV, vertical channel damping loop was introduced to suppress divergence of the vertical axis error of INS, which could be reduced to the level of accuracy of pressure altitude measured by a pitot-static tube. Because static pressure measured by the pitot-static tube depends on the speed and attitude of the vehicle, static pressure error models, based on aerodynamic data from wind tunnel test, CFD analysis, and flight test, were applied to reduce the error of pressure altitude. Through flight tests and sensitivity analyses, the error model using the ratio of differential pressure and static pressure turned out to be superior to the model using only differential pressure, especially in case of high altitude flight. Both models were proposed to compensate the effect of vehicle speed change and used differential and static pressure which could be obtained directly from the output of pressure transducer.

  • This paper presents a simple method to estimate center of distortion and correct radial distortion from fish-eye lens. If the center of image is not locate that of lens in a straight line, the disadvantage of FOV model is low accurate because of correcting distortion without estimated centre of distortion. We propose a method accurately estimating Distortion center using FOV model and 2D pattern from wide angle lens. Our method determines the center of distortion in least error between straight lines and curves with FOV model. The results of experimental measurements on synthetic and real data are presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 좌표를 얻을 수 있는 카메라 Calibration 알고리듬을 확립하고, View Frustum(V.F.) 모델을 이용하여 도로의 영상을 모델화하였다. 그리고 주행하는 차선 내에 존재하는 선행차량의 위치측정 및 차량까지의 거리를 정확히 인식하기 위해 피칭오차를 보정하며 실시간으로 계측하는 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 기존의 많은 추돌 경보시스템(CWS)들은 도로가 평면이라 가정하여 도로와 차량사이의 기하적인 변화에 따른 오차 특성을 고려하지 않았다. 이를 보완하고자 본 논문에서는 카메라 Calibration 알고리듬을 적용하여 실세계 좌표계와 영상좌표계 사이의 기하해석으로 사영행렬을 추출하였고, V.F. 모델을 이용하여 소실점의 기하적인 해석을 통하여 차량의 피칭변화에 따른 오차특성을 실시간으로 보정하였다. 실험결과 거리의 오차를 2%이하로 줄일 수 있어 피칭변화에 강인함을 확인할 수 있었다.

Comparison of Calibration Models for GPS Antenna Phase Center Variations (GPS 안테나 위상중심변동 보정모델 비교)

  • To get the highly-accurate and precise position of a GPS receiver, they should consider the state-of-the-art GPS force and measurement models. Especially, the phase center variations (PCV) of a GPS antenna can cause several centimeters of positioning errors in the vertical direction. In this study, we implemented four different models of PCV and evaluated their impact on the computed coordinates. The test data were taken from the 14 National Geography Information Institute permanent GPS stations and 30 Minisry of Government Administration and Home Affairs sites. For different combinations of calibration methods, an average of 1.3-2.6cm of height difference was observed. Also, we found a maximum error of ${\sim}4mm$ in the estimates of the precipitable water vapors.

  • 본 논문에서는 저급 관성 센서를 이용한 개인 항법 장치의 모델 및 오차 보정 기법을 제시하고 성능 평가를 위하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 걸음 검출에 의한 보행 항법에서 중요한 변수인 보폭은 신경 회로망(Neural Network)을 이용하여 결정하였고, 자이로 바이어스 등에 의하여 누적되는 오차는 GPS와의 결합에 의하여 추정, 보상하였다. 이때 GPS와의 결합은 칼만필터를 이용하였으며 칼말필터를 구성하는데 필요한 오차 모델 및 결합 방법을 제시하였다. WNS/GPS 결합에 의하여 오차의 발산을 막을 수 있으며 GPS신호가 중간에 단절되는 경우에도 오차가 발산하지 않고 좋은 결과를 유지함을 보인다.

A EM-Log Aided Navigation Filter Design for Maritime Environment (해상환경용 EM-Log 보정항법 필터 설계)

  • This paper designs a electromagnetic-log (EM-Log) aided navigation filter for maritime environment without global navigation satellite system (GNSS). When navigation is performed for a long time, Inertial navigation system (INS)'s error gradually diverges. Therefore, an integrated navigation method is used to solve this problem. EM-Log sensor measures the velocity of the vehicle. However, since the measured velocity from EM-Log contains the speed of the sea current, the aided navigation filter is required to estimate the sea current. This paper proposes a single model filter and interacting multiple (IMM) model filter methods to estimate the sea current and analyzes the influence of the sea current model on the filter. The performance of the designed aided navigation filter is verified using a simulation and the improvement rate of the filter compared to the pure navigation is analyzed. The performance of single model filter is improved when the sea current model is correct. However, when the sea current model is incorrect, the performance decreases. On the other hands, IMM model filter methods show the stable performance compared to the single model.

  • This paper proposes a new model to compensate for errors of a five-axis machine tool. A matrix with error components, that is, an error matrix, is separated from the error synthesis model of a five-axis machine tool. Based on the kinematics and inversion of the error matrix which can be obtained not by using a numerical method, an error compensation model is established and used to calculate compensation values of joint variables. The proposed compensation model does not need numerical methods to find the compensation values from the error compensation model, which includes nonlinear equations. An experiment using a double ball-bar is implemented to verify the proposed model.
