악티늄족 및 란탄족 원소 회수를 위한 기능성 고분자-탄소 나노 구조체

  • 킬레이팅 고분자를 메조기공 탄소 표면 위에 흡착시킴으로써 금속이온과 착물을 형성할 수 있는 기능성 나노구조체를 제조하였다. 악티늄족 원소를 단일입자 내에 영구처분을 위한 예비연구로서 Eu을 대용물(surrogate)로 사용하여 기능성 나노 구조체에 주입한 후 메조기공 입구를 고분자반응을 통해 봉쇄함으로써 Eu의 단일입자 내 고정화를 시도하였다. 시간에 따라 침출현상을 분석한 결과, 고분자로 메조기공을 blocking 하였을 때 Eu의 침출현상이 크게 완화되는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 시멘트화나 유리화 등과 같은 고비용 공정을 거치지 않고도 단일입자 내 유해 금속의 영구처분이 가능하다는 것을 의미한다. 더 나아가, 이러한 접근방법은 지지체로 메조기공 탄소에 국한되지 않고 실리카와 같은 다른 메조기공 금속산화물에 적용될 수 있다는 점에서 큰 강점이 있다.

Development of the Extraction Method for a Functional Food from Aster glehni (섬쑥부쟁이로부터 건강기능식품 제조를 위한 추출법 개발)

  • 예비실험 중 한국의 울릉도에 자생하고 취나물로 이용되고 있는 섬쑥부쟁이(Aster glehni Franchet et Sckmidt, Compositae)가 페놀성 화합물 함량이 높고 peroxynitrite 소거효과가 높았기 때문에 이를 이용한 추출물의 제조를 통한 건강기능식품을 창출하고자 하였다. 건강식품을 위한 추출물 제조를 위하여 물과 에탄올만을 이용하여 페놀성 화합물 고함유 추출물의 제조가 가능하고 높은 peroxynitrite 소거효과를 나타내는 추출물을 결정하고자 하였다. 즉, 추출용매로 Water-EtOH 비율을 조절하여 추출하여 추출물의 함량, HPLC를 이용한 caffeoylquinic acid(CQ) 화합물의 함량분석 및 peroxynitrite 소거효과를 비교하였다. Water-EtOH (7:3)으로 추출한 섬쑥부쟁이 추출물은 CQ 함량이 높고, 높은 peroxynitrite 소거효과, 항경련효과, 진정효과 및 항비만효과 등이 나타났다. 건강기능식품을 위한 추출물 제조시 한국에서는 물과 에탄올만이 허용되기 때문에 CQ 함량이 높은 추출물의 제조가 가능하고 높은 peroxynitrite 소거효과를 유지할 수 있는가에 관한 실험 이외에 마우스에서 선택된 추출물의 진정효과 및 항경련효과 실험을 수행하였다. 진정효과와 항경련효과를 위하여 마우스에서 각각 pentobarbital로 유도한 수면연장효과와 PTZ로 유도한 경련에 대한 효과를 측정하여 유의성있는 활성이 확인되었으므로 이 추출물을 이용한 건강기능식품으로의 이용이 가능하다고 생각된다.

Brain Activations on the Hypothesis-Generating and Hypothesis-Understanding in Pre-Service Teachers not Majoring in Biology, Pre-Service Teachers Majoring in Biology and Biologists (생물전공 및 비전공 예비교사들과 생물학자들의 가설 생성 및 이해에서 나타나는 두뇌 활성 차이)

  • We aimed to examine difference between the brain activation pattern based upon hypothesis-generating and hypothesis-understanding among the pre-service teachers not majoring in biology, the pre-service teachers majoring in biology and the biologists using fMRI. We have designed two sets of task paradigm on the biological phenomena: hypothesis-generating and hypothesis-understanding and thirty six healthy participants (twelve participants per group) performed the tasks. The result was showed that 1) there were significant differences of brain activation patterns in hypothesis-generating on the biological phenomena among three groups, 2) the left middle frontal gyrus in the part of DLPFC region was play an important roles of hypothesis-generating and make a significant differences among three groups. The superior ability of biologists were based upon the activation of middle frontal gyrus which has secondary integration of abstract information, and 3) there were no significant differences of brain activation patterns in hypothesis-understanding on the biological phenomena among three groups. These findings provided that scientist might be skillful in generating a new scientific knowledge.

Preliminary Study on Developing Test Items of Swallowing & Communication Screening Protocols for Patients with Head and Neck Burns (안면부 및 경부 화상 환자의 삼킴 및 의사소통능력 선별 프로토콜 개발을 위한 예비 연구)

  • We have to consider two parts of the evaluation and treatment for the patients with head and neck burns. The primary consideration is swallowing function for nutrition supply for them and the next is speech function for efficient communication and aesthetic impression of them. The purpose of this study is to summarize the preliminary questions of Communication Screening Protocols which can help understand comprehensively on swallowing disorder, motor speech disorder and voice disorder of patients with head and neck burns. We divided the evaluation into 4 evaluation areas including 'oral mechanism', 'respiration/voice', 'articulation', and 'swallowing' by referring to overseas studies dealing with various communication disorders caused by burns, and prepared the final questionnaires by conducting the content validity verification by five expert (speech & language pathologist). The range of Content Validity Index was shown relatively appropriate with .50~.84. There was a conflict of opinions in experts whether the items in the areas of respiration/voice and swallowing may be appropriate, whereas there was no different view of the oral mechanism and articulation area. Through the different characteristics of communication difficulties of patients with head and neck burns, we expect it will be modified appropriately according to the patients through evaluation of burn patients by type and severity.

Analysis on the Current status of e-Learning among Pre-Service Teachers (예비교사의 이러닝 인식 및 사용 교수·학습 전략 실태 분석)

  • It is important to understand how pre-service teachers perceive e-learning because their prior-experience with e-learning will have a great impact on their teaching after the graduation. Pre-service teachers (401 students) with cyber learning experience, which is a form of e-learning, were selected in 2004 in May and June. Survey was conducted regarding the instructional experience (working hours, tasks and evaluation, satisfaction about cyber learning and its academic achievement, difficulties and suggestions) and instructional methods (instructional activities, frequencies of interaction, strategies of interaction, collaborative activities, behaviors in the group instructional activities for knowledge development). The results are pre-service teachers tent to spend similar v slightly less working hours for cyber learning, similar or slightly less satisfaction level for the instruction and the academic achievement. It was interesting that female students were more negative than males students, considering female students have been more active in online discussion traditionally. Logical presentation of contents and instructional strategies for the cyber learning were the most wanting suggestions. E-mails and BBS for reference materials were the two most used functions in the online learning. The amount and types of tasks were satisfactory. Students did not interact freely during the group activities, they reported they did not learn much through the group activity. During the group work, they consider they do their roles with responsibility while they have slightly negative responses toward other members' contribution in the group activity. Off line meeting is strongly suggested.

  • 본 연구 개발은 초등학교 예비 교사에게 국어과 ICT 교수 학습에 대한 이해와 과정안 개발 및 수업에서의 활용 능력을 길러주고, 아울러 향후 ICT를 활용한 국어과 교육을 교육과정에 반영할 경우 제기될 수 있는 문제점을 짚어보고 개선 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구 개발의 내용은 국어과 ICT 활용 교육 관련 문헌 및 자료 탐색, 자료 및 수업 운영 실태 분석, 국어과 국어과 6학년 1, 2학기 180차시에 대한 학습 내용 및 목표 분석과 국어과 6학년 1, 2학기 180차시에 대한 ICT 교수 학습 과정안 개발, ICT 교수 학습과정안 개발 결과물의 수정 검토 및 서버 탑재, ICT 교수 학습 과정 개발 과정의 교육과정 적용 방안 모색이다. 본 연구 개발을 위하여 2003년 2학기 강좌인 '국어과 교재 연구(2학점)'와 통합하여 교수 학습 과정안 개발을 추진하였다. 본 강좌에서는 과정안 개발에 필요한 모형 안내, 과정안 작성 방법 지도, ICT 활용 수업의 분석, 과정안 개발에 필요한 컴퓨터 소양 교육이 이루어졌으며 과정안의 개발은 학기 과제로 추진하였다. 본 연구 개발 과제의 수행을 통하여 최종적으로 국어과 6학년 ICT 교수 학습 과정안 180차시와 연구 보고서 1종을 산출하였다. 본 연구 개발의 성과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비 교사에게 국어과 ICT 교수 학습 모형 및 과정안에 대한 이해를 높이고 교수 학습 과정안의 작성 능력을 길러주었다. 둘째, 연구 보고서에 제시된 국어과 ICT 자료 개발 및 활용 실태, 예비 교사의 ICT 교수 학습 과정안 개발을 위한 강의 계획과 개발을 위한 실제 지도 과정은 향후 관련 강의나 연구를 설계하고 교육과정을 마련하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 셋째, 예비 교사들이 개발한 자료는 현장 교사들이 국어과 수업을 운용하는 데 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구 개발 결과 드러난 문제점과 보다 나은 연구와 강의를 지향하기 위한 개선 방안을 제시하여 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비 교사의 특성과 개발 내용에 비추어 볼 때 ICT 교수 학습 과정안 개발 기간이 짧았다. 따라서 강의 시수를 늘리는 방안, 관련 강좌를 추가로 개설하는 방안, 기존 강좌를 통합하여 운영하는 방안을 고려해 보아야 한다. 둘째, 예비 교사의 수준을 고려할 때 여러 가지 '부가 자료'를 포함하는 ICT 교수 학습 과정안을 1인 1차시씩 개발하도록 하는 것은 학생들에게 상당한 부담을 안겨 주었다. 대안으로는 개발 관련 강자를 1년 단위로 계획하여 운용하는 방법, 학생 4-5명 당 1차시씩 개발하도록 하는 방법, ICT 교수 학습 과정안 자체만 개발하고 학습지, 교사연구자료, 자율학습 자료 등은 생략하는 방법 등이 있다. 셋째, 학생들의 컴퓨터 소양 기능이 부족한 상태에서 ICT 교수 학습 과정안 개발을 과제로 부과할 경우 좋은 결과물을 기대할 수 없다. 따라서 현재 교육대학의 교육 과정 편성 체제를 감안하면 컴퓨터 강좌와 교과 교육 강좌를 통합 강좌 형태로 운영하는 방법을 고려해 볼 만하다. 넷째, 교수 학습 모형의 경직성과 실제 교수 학습 변인을 고려한 활용이나 변형에 대한 탐구가 여전히 부족했다는 점이다. 앞으로는 이를 몇 가지의 모형 틀 속으로 자꾸 끓어 내려고 하는 것보다는 기존의 모형을 다양하게 변형할 수 있도록 그 틀을 열어줄 필요가 있다.

Features in Pre-Service Teachers' Reflective Discussion on their Practical Work-Based Teaching (예비교사의 실험 수업에 대한 반성적 논의의 특징)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze pre-service teachers' reflective discussion on their practical work-based teaching by focusing on the components of instruction and the connectivity of discussion. Eight after-class discussions were recorded and transcribed, and finally analyzed in terms of theoretically driven categories such as aims, teacher knowledge and learner response which also respectively reflect the actual flow of planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching practice. The result showed that in their discussion about students, conceptual understanding and scientific skill components were most emphasized, while teaching method and strategy were most frequently addressed in the discussion about teacher knowledge. But this also revealed problems in their discussions such as the lack of discussion about inquiry and student interest, difficulties in clarifying theoretical terms and the lack of discussion about instructional models and theories. Meanwhile, pre-service teachers' discussions were limited in terms of connectivity between the components of instruction, meaning that their discussion tended to deal with each component separately rather than occurred in connection with each other. Furthermore, when connections were made during the discussion, only few components of instruction appeared. Based on this result, the paper suggests the need to develop tools to facilitate effective reflection in ways that incorporate various components of instruction and enhance connectivity between the components and between the instructions.

The Perception of In-service and Pre-service Science Teachers of the Training Program, and the Practical Use of Advanced Science Laboratory Equipment (첨단 과학 실험장비 활용 및 연수에 대한 과학고 과학교사와 예비교사들의 인식)

  • Research-based professional development is essential for in-service and pre-service science teachers across the nation. The purpose of this study was to examine in-service science teachers' and pre-service teachers' perception of the training program for professional development using advanced science laboratory equipment and experiments. Science teachers (N= 43) in science high schools and pre-service science teachers (N=189) were selected as research subjects. As a result of this study, in-service teachers and pre-service teachers recognized that they lacked understanding and experience in advanced science laboratory equipment, although they perceived the importance of its use. They wanted to attend training programs during vacation if they would have the opportunity. Both groups felt that they needed to improve their ability to operate the advanced science lab equipment, preferring to practice these instruments in the training programs. In-service teachers preferred the development of teaching and learning programs for use of the advanced science laboratory equipment. However, pre-service teachers preferred using the advanced science laboratory equipment. The study gives implications for teachers' professional development.

Evaluation of the Preservation Functions in Standard Records Management System for Public Agencies (표준 기록관리시스템의 전자기록 보존 기능 평가 연구 - 문서보존포맷변환 기능을 중심으로 -)

  • This study evaluated the implementation of preservation functions and the degree of implementation in standard records management systems (SRMS) for public agencies. For evaluation, it identified digital preservation activities by analyzing legislation and standards for public records management, especially functional requirements for records management system. Compared to these, it pre-evaluated the functions that SRMS claims to be implemented. It was found that preservation functions implemented in SRMS mainly focuses on migration to standard format. A checklist was made based on the adjusted scope by reflecting the result of pre-evaluation and was distributed to record managers who work for public agencies. This study found that the preservation functions were relatively compliant with the functional requirement for records management system for public agencies, but the way of implementation hardly support records managers of public agencies. The preservation functions of SRMS must be improved or be reconsidered based on the results and further studies.

Comparison of Spatial Neurocognitive Function between Insomnia Disorder Patients and Normal Sleeping Control : Pilot Study (불면장애 환자와 정상대조군간의 공간인지기능 비교 : 예비연구)

  • Objectives: Chronic insomnia disorder is a common and one of the most distressing sleep disorders. This pilot study was conducted to compare the spatial function between insomnia disorder patients and good sleeping control. Methods: We enrolled the 22 patients with chronic insomnia during over one year who met the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria of insomnia disorder and 27 normal sleeping controls. The Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB) has been performed to compare the spatial cognitive function between insomnia disorder patients and good sleeping controls. Results: The CANTAB results showed significant differences in the problems solved in minimum moves of Stockings of Cambridge test (t = -2.499, p = 0.017). The significant difference between two groups remained after controlling age, sex, and Beck Depression Index non-sleep scores (F = 5.631, p = 0.022). Conclusion: This study suggests that the patients with insomnia disorder have poor spatial planning function.
