A Study on the Development of Self-efficacy Scale for Children (아동의 자기-효능감 척도 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 아동의 자기-효능감을 측정할 수 있는 검사도구를 개발하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다 연구대상자는 554명의 국민학교 5, 6학년 아동들로서, 선행연구를 중심으로 구성 한 문항들에 대한 몇 차례의 예비조사를 통하여 최종 23문항을 선정하였고 척도 구성을 위 한 검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 척도의 문항 양호도 검증을 위한 문항의 반응율과 변별도 분 석결과는 대체로 양호하게 나타났으며 척도의 타당도 검증을 위한 요인분석 결과 본 검사도 구가 세 요인으로 구성되어 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 신뢰도 분석 결과는 Cronbach's a 값 이 .62에서 .79로 나타났다.

  • Delay-Time 모형은 고장의 발생 전에 먼저 결점이 일어나게 되고 결점이 일어난 이후 얼마간의 시간(delay-time)이 지나고 나서 고장이 발생하게 되는 모형이다. 이러한 과정에서 delay-time내에 검사를 하여 결점을 찾아내면 고장을 예방할 수 있다. 직ㆍ병렬과 우선 순위를 고려한 대기구조를 갖는 시스템에서 정비정책을 지원하기 위한 시뮬레이션 시스템을 개발한다. 이러한 시뮬레이션 시스템은 신뢰성 기반 정비를 지원하고 Delay-Time모형을 적용하여 효과적인 검사 정책 수립과 예방정비, 정비원, 예비품등을 고려하여 다양한 환경에서 시스템을 평가하는데 적용할 수 있게 하였다.

  • High quality of turbine babbit bearing has to be maintained for smooth operation of power plants. So in the research center of the Korea Electric Power Company, Ultrasonic testing has been peformed on the spare part of babbit bearing during past ten years. Since separation between babbit bearing and base metal was seen for most of the bearings in stock, investigation has begun in order to see the effect on temperature and humidity variation of the separation, and thus searching for the optimum storage method.

A Preliminary Study of The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory for the Korean Version (싱어 루미스 심리 유형 검사의 한국판 제작을 위한 예비연구)

  • Psychological typology in analytic psychology is used not only for ascertaining the attitude or function of the conscious ego, but also as one blueprint for the individuation process. We all know the need to emphasize an awareness of the deployment and development of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function for the individuation process. This study has the goal of refining our awareness of this deployment and development of typological functions. The questionnaires of the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey use the method of a forced-choice questionnaire, on the assumption of a bi-polarity hypothesis. But the questionnaire of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory uses the Likert scale. It is able to show the deployment of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function visibly. It allows us to test the subject at stated periods for his/her development or change of psychological typology. The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory is a statistically superior method for showing Jung's psychological typology relative to both the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey. I have studied how the original authors of The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory understood Jung's psychological typology. I produced the reliability and the item-discrimination power of the Korean Version of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory. On the basis of this study, I produced the revised Korean version 1 of Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory.

The Environmental Perceptions of Pre-service Secondary School Teachers about the Global Environment (지구 환경에 대한 예비 중등 교사의 환경 인식)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the environmental perceptions of pre-service secondary school teachers about the global environment. The Subjects are 133 pre-service secondary school teachers. As an indicator of environmental perceptions, the modified New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) instrument was used. This modified NEP instrument consists of four dimensions: the negative results of growth and technology, relation of humankind and nature, quality of life, and limits of biosphere. The results of this study suggested that a majority of pre-service secondary teachers held ecological environmental perceptions. They also had a similar environmental perception to education major. However, there were significant differences in environmental perceptions and the variables of education experience on environment-related subjects. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that environment-related subjects. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that environmental education be a mandatory course in education programs.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the elementary pre-service teachers' preferred strategies while they solve problems which require number sense and to study a way to improve their number sense ability based on computational thinking. In a survey with 57 elementary pre-service teachers using the instrument consisting of two different number sense components, they preferred much more the rule-based strategies to the number sense-based strategies, which was consistent with the prior studies[13][14][20]. To change this situation, we present a way to improve their number sense ability by utilizing the analyzed results and the nine computational thinking components which were suggested by CSTA and ISTE(2011).

Comparison of the Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Understandings of the Basic Concepts of Astronomy and Their Attitudes Toward Astronomy between Korea and Japan (한일 초등 예비교사들의 천문학 기초개념 이해와 천문학에 대한 태도)

  • This study investigated pre-service elementary teachers' understanding of the basic concepts of and their attitudes toward astronomy in Korea and Japan. The survey instrument called the Astronomy Diagnostic lest (ADT) that was developed by the Collaboration for Astronomy Education Research (CAER) in 1998 was used and modified to tailor to the two countries' contexts, including 12 items written in the two languages, Korean and Japanese. The attitudes toward astronomy were examined by the Survey of Attitudes toward Astronomy (SATA), which was developed by Zeilik et al. in 1999. Cronbach's alpha of this sample of the study was 0.69, while the reliability of SATA was 0.87. All the pre-service elementary teachers in both Korea and Japan showed a low-level understanding of the basic concepts of astronomy. 38% of Korean pre-service elementary teachers had correct answers to the questions regarding the basic conceptions of astronomy, while 37% of Japanese participants had correct answers to them. Although there was no statistically significant difference between Korean and Japanese pre-service elementary teachers, Korean teachers scored higher than Japanese participants in SATA. A significant difference, however, was revealed in the categories of cognitive competence and value of the attitudes toward astronomy (p <.05). In addition, it was found that both Korean and Japanese pre-service elementary teachers scored less than 40% about the basic concepts of astronomy and that they obtained lower scores than the US college students with regard to the attitudes toward astronomy.

  • 배경 : 최근까지 이루어진 천식의 침치료 무작위 대조군 연구들에 의한 결과는 뚜렷한 효과를 보여주지 못하고 있다. 이러한 요인의 하나로 적절한 피험자 수를 정하기 위한 예비 임상시험의 부재가 거론되고 있다. 따라서 천식에 대한 침치료의 본 임상시험에 앞서 이의 실행 가능성 및 규모를 예측하는 예비임상시험이 필요한 상황이다. 목적 : 예비임상시험을 통해 서양의학적 치료를 받고 있는 천식환자들에 대한 침치료의 부가적 효과를 검증하기 위한 본 임상시험의 실현 가능성을 예측하기 위함. 방법 : 본 시험은 무작위 단일 맹검 대조군 평행 설계 예비 임상시험이다. 1차 평가변수는 최대 호기량 검사기로 집에서 아침, 저녁으로 매일 측정한 수치로 구해진 최대 호기 유속 일중 변동률의 1주간 평균치 변화이며 2차 평가변수는 의료기관에서 시행하는 폐기능 검사, 기준시점 호흡곤란 지수, 호흡곤란 변화에 대한 지수, 천식환자들의 삶의 질 평가를 위한 설문 등이다. 피험자 수는 총 45명으로 선정 및 제외기준을 통해서 참여하게 되며 1주간의 최대 호기 유속 기저치 평가 기간을 거친 후 진짜침 처치 군, 가짜침 처치 군, 대기군 세 군에 각각 무작위로 15명씩 할당된다. 모든 피험자에게 기존의 천식관련 약물의 사용을 허용하며, 진짜침 처치군 및 가짜침 처치군은 주 3회 4주간 해당 처치를 받고 2주 후에 각 평가 항목에 대하여 추적, 관찰하게 된다. 대기군은 기존의 천식관리를 유지하면서 2주마다 방문하여 총 6주간 평가를 받고 진짜침 처치를 4주간 받게 된다. 고찰 : 본 연구는 국내에서 최초로 이루어지는 천식에 대한 침 무작위 대조군 예비 임상시험으로 향후 적절한 피험자 수와 실행가능성을 예측할 수 있으리라 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the application of storytelling on pre-service teachers of elementary school who take courses in 'earth's strata and rock' on science teaching concept and science teaching efficacy. The experiment was aimed at one class (32 students) enrolled in the 'earth's strata and rock' course at intensive course through 15 weeks from March to June. The experiment was taking lectures of "earth's strata and rock" for one semester, and the pre-service teachers of elementary school finished class demonstration with storytelling technique by group. The results and analysis of the study were analyzed by the corresponding sample test in before and after the group test. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, the application of storytelling method on pre-service teachers of elementary school was effective in science concept. teaching efficacy. Second, the application of storytelling method on pre-service teachers of elementary school was effective in science teaching efficacy. Third, the application of storytelling method on pre-service teachers of elementary school responded positively.

THE STRUCTURES OF THE ALTERNATIVE CONCEPTIONS OF PRESERVICE SECONDARY TEACHERS ON SEASONAL CHANCES (계절 변화에 대한 예비 중등교사의 대안개념의 구조)

  • This study was to understand the components that influence preservice secondary teachers' conceptions about 'seasonal changes' We selected 74 university science education students among whom 23 were in the second, 23 in the third, and 28 in the fourth year. The data collected from the paper-pencil test and individual interview with students. The results of this study show that the students had considerable apparent alternative conceptions, and that the 'distance theory' had most important effects on their alternative conceptions. It can be said that preservice secondary teachers' initial models of the seasonal change have their origin in their belief sets (specific theory) related to 'seasonal change', on the basis of which they can interpret their observations and cultural information with the constraints of a naive frame-work of physics. The structures and possible sources of their alternative conceptions for overcoming these alternative conceptions were also discussed. Implications for preservice science teacher education related to the results were discussed.
