An empirical study on telemarketing efficiency at life insurance (생명보험사 텔레마케팅 효율성 제고에 관한연구)

  • Lower Prices are offered through sales by telemarketing. This is to serve our customers by the fastest and most appropriate referral product that is most important to attract insurance. Therefore, Considering the time the customer's preferred products and preferred customer for screening and targeting, depending on what is the difference between the premiums. This study of the logistic regression model using datamining techniques, the life insurance companies in outbound telemarketing to support sales of the effect you want to validate. To join existing life insurance companies for the customer response and sales strategy based on the L segment and by age group, family-love insurance, accident insurance, and cancer insurance were in progress for the modeling. Set model based on the progress of the campaign to existing customers marketing methods and how to extract and run the model results has proven the superiority of the model. In addition, over time, depending on the aging model is set to a decline in operating profit to maximize the profits th update the model which was derived.

Anlaysis on Perference of Appropration Methods in Korean Manufacturing: Focusing on Patents and Trade Secrets (한국제조기업의 전유방법 선호분석: 특허와 영업비밀을 중심으로)

  • In this study, we have analyzed the impact of firm, innovation and industry characteristics on firm's appropriation strategy focusing of the relative preference of patents and trade secrets by using the Korea Corporate Innovation Survey 2005, 2010 and 2014 data. According to the analysis results, companies with characteristics such as venture, high-technology industry, receipt of public R&D subsidies, performing product innovation, high R&D expenditure, prefer patents to trade secrets relatively. However, firm size and R&D cooperation did not have a statistically significant effect on the relative preference. This shows that policy on appropriation system considering the industry characteristics may be more effective. Companies in the industries with a high market concentration showed that trade secrets are preferred, especially these characteristic was distinctly in small and venture companies. This means that the increase in strategic patent applications of the incumbent firms is able to restrict the patent activities in small and venture companies. Because the excessive increase in strategic patents is likely to constrain the innovation activities of small and venture firms ultimately, policy initiatives to limit the abuse of strategic patent applications is required.

  • This research introduced the concept of 'alternative attractiveness' derived from the social exchange theory to the research model predicting turnover intention among salesforce. By doing so, we tried to broaden the understandings of relationship between salesperson job attitude and salesperson behavior. We collected and analysed the data from the survey on the 178 salespeople employed at the life insurance companies. We found the alternative attractiveness to be a significant antecedent of the turnover intention. Specifically, the more attractive the alternative the greater the intention of turnover. However, we also found that the salesforces are less attracted to the alternative if they are more satisfied with their jobs. Finally, this research can be a seminary work with the relational perspective for the studies of salesforce management.

A Comparative Analysis of Operational Condition of Corporation-owned and Owner-driver Taxies Using Tachometer Output Data (타코미터 자료에 의한 법인택시와 개인택시의 운행실태 비교 분석)

  • The Purpose of this Paper is to compare and analyze the operational condition of corporation-owned and owner-driver taxies using tachometer output data. The empirical findings from this study are as follows : First, although corporation-owned taxies have long operating mileage and service driving mileage per vehicle. the service rate of owner-driver taxies were 3.5 percent higher than corporation-owned taxies. Secondly it is found that operation mileage, service driving mileage, and service Income except non-service driving mileage have statistically significant differences between corporation owned and owner-driver taxies. In addition. there was a weak correlation between the income and non-service driving mileage of owner-driver taxies. It is concluded that owner-driver taxies joined the call-taxi association and call-taxi services decreased non-service driving mileage.

  • In this study, collecting data in real retail-premium market and the influencing factors were extracted explored the formation of retail-premium. This should identify the level of retail-premium through an objective estimate of expenses, revenues, etc. A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted focusing on how the operating profit affected the formation of retail-premium. Store operators will have to be accompanied by the management of the operating profit to keep the initial payment and in order to receive a raise retail-premium. Through this process, It is possible to prevent the gap between retail-premium calculated through the appraisal and market practices. Ultimately, I believe and achieve the objective, transparent, the advancement of retail-premium market.

  • The goal of this study is to broaden our understanding about the antecedents for job turnover intention of salesforces. In addition to the previously studied antecedents such as job performance, satisfaction, organizational commitment, in this study we are particularly interested in the variable of alternative attractiveness which is often studied in social exchange theory, Thus, we suggest a model with a new antecedent for job turnover intention by introducing alternative attractiveness. We collected and analyzed the data from the survey on the 178 salespeople at the life insurance companies.   • Private Security company concentrated on the commerciality as a for-profit businesses. Even so, his role is concerned with public welfare and public security over personal gain. Establishing a company and the business activities are free and protected by the constitutional law and the commercial law such as natural rights. However, it would be restricted in case of need for the national security affairs, public security violation and public weal problems. On the other hand, even though private security law is a for-profit businesses, the natural rights of the text of the Constitution is ignored and distinct from the different apply the rules for the establishment standard and for the business activities. Also, over a certain size of place and capital are required to establish a private security company. Therefore, this paper will study the public interests and the profits of commerciality for the private security by constitutional law and commercial law which assure and conserve the natural rights and the business activities.

  • The purpose of this study is to specify a structural relationship among learning goal orientation(LGO), creativity, working smart, working hard, and work performance of salespersons, verify the direct and indirect effect of variables, and examine impacts of the five factors at the same time. Also, this carried out the study to understand the relationship between the salesperson's creativity and work performance. This study targeted for salespersons who were working in various industries and total 588 were participated via on-line. According to the study, the result is as follows. First of all, There are direct effects among LGO, creativity, working smart, and work performance. However, working hard didn't have any direct effect with any other variables. Creativity and working smart have indirect effects on the relationship between LGO and job performance. In addition, the mediating effect of the model with creativity was higher than that of the model without creativity. Therefore, creativity is an individual competency that should be continuously developed to improve the work performance of a salesperson.

  • This study investigated & analyzed the scheme for Ship Management for the Activation of world-wide Oil business. Shipping safety & marine pollution accidents occurred a huge property loss not only a shipping companies but also a oil companies, and marine accident may affect to a shipping company to go out of existence. On that score, oil companies have executed the evaluation by periods on each shipping companies and ships, and SIRE is inter-sharing by internet homepage on OCIMF & CDI, and its most important data when oil cargo transport. Therefore this study is provided a practical method to PIC of tanker shipping business & Designated Person, and it will be a basic of Ship Management for the activation of the Oil business.

  • Every activity of companies whose goal is pursuit of profits occurs much information such as buying and selling consistently. This information is a factor that evaluates employees' results at least and can be a highly trusted data for facing an overall market conditions at large for CEO, so it should be managed efficiently. This paper helps CEO to run a business efficiently by establishing the business strategy for dealing flexibly and checking the level of contribution of each of employees through the management process in the rapidly changing market and it tries to construct the system that employees can evaluate their business profits and is able to evaluate the reliability of connections. This system is based on On-line, able to share data in real time, and limits an employees' authority for access capability of information.
