Visual Contents Study of Historic Re-create about Memory of China 6th Generation Director (중국 6세대 감독의 기억에 관한 역사적 재현 영상콘텐츠 연구)

  • This dissertation is considered a historic generation that Chinese film $6^{th}$ director remembers through their life. Also it is figured out historic anguish and hurt how it was remembered and appeared in film. They have made actual films through their efforts which are different from the conventional generation. In addition, between memory and oblivion the time's signification in the history is showed how what way can be represented. It was presented the time's anguish through memory's metaphor in Chinese film $6^{th}$ works. Also, it was shown the existence's reality from dream was losing as memory was hiding between desire and despair. Additionally, the self of daily was expressed to unconcernedly accept reality, and its against the unchangeable world's eye and memory. The $6^{th}'s$ films' desire was expressed passive appearance to accept reality with losing dream in these three things; cannot be reality in the process to figure out own natural character, and appearance to keep traditional character, finally gradually changing reality. When $6^{th}$ directors analysis the history as memory, social repression follows family's repression, family's repression brings personal repression, and then repression changes to desire, finally the life as a reaction could be maintained. In conclusion, personal desire was covered for fantasy, and the overcoming figure was represented. Moreover, Chinese face that $6^{th}$ directors have memorized was presented through these sentiments.

Ascending Aortic Rupture in a Young Woman with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome: The First Case Report in Korea (Loeys-Dietz 증후군으로 진단된 젊은 여자 환자의 상행 대동맥 파열: 국내 첫 번째 증례 보고)

  • Characterized by unique phenotypic features such as aortic aneurysm/dissection, hypertelorism, bifid uvula/cleft palate and generalized tortuosity in the arterial system, Loeys-Dietz syndrome is a newly described aggressive connective tissue disorder associated with mutation in the gene encoding transforming growth factor-$\beta$ receptor type I or type II. Some phenotypic manifestations of Loeys-Dietz syndrome overlap with those of Marfan syndrome or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type IV. However, due to its more malignant pathophysiologic nature, physicians should be alert to Loeys-Dietz syndrome. High suspicion, early diagnosis, preventive surgery and serial imaging assessments are warranted for optimal management of Loeys-Dietz syndrome. We present here a case of a young patient with Loeys-Dietz syndrome who had aortic rupture, bifid uvula and hypertelorism. We also present a review of the medical literature.

High Performance Object Recognition with Application of the Size and Rotational Invariant Feature of the Fourier Descriptor to the 3D Information of Edges (푸리에 표현자의 크기와 회전 불변 특징을 에지에 대한 3차원 정보에 응용한 고효율의 물체 인식)

  • A high performance object recognition algorithm using Fourier description of the 3D information of the objects is proposed. Object boundaries contain sufficient information for recognition in most of objects. However, it is not well utilized as the key solution of the object recognition since obtaining the accurate boundary information is not easy. Also, object boundaries vary highly depending on the size or orientation of object. The proposed object recognition algorithm is based on 1) the accurate object boundaries extracted from the 3D shape which is obtained by the laser scan device, and 2) reduction of the required database using the size and rotational invariant feature of the Fourier Descriptor. Such Fourier information is compared with the database and the recognition is done by selecting the best matching object. The experiments have been done on the rich database of MPEG 7 Part B.

The Instructional Design Using Storytelling in Home Economics Education (가정교과에서의 스토리텔링(storytelling)을 활용한 수업 설계 방안)

  • It is a story through which people share their ideas and express their thoughts. Storytelling is temporally and spatially interconnected narration that consists of characters, background, its beginning and its conclusion. Furthermore, the story in storytelling is a means of delivering culture and history; thanks to the development of various media, delivering and exchanging the story are conducted in a variety of forms. Due to the technological advancement, the way storytelling is done has changed, which was a method called digital storytelling. This storytelling has been frequently used in education; that is, teachers utilize stories to communicate their thoughts. As receivers, students understand a shade of meaning and the role of language, thus reorganizing the important factors in the context of meaningful events. However, in practice the classes are so teacher-centered that the role of students are relegated to that of passive learners, thus debilitating the interaction between participants; as a result, this situation shows serious limitations in that it does not improve students' practical skills. Despite this situation, home economics has attempted to broaden students' practical knowledge and has enabled them to acquire procedural knowledge as its main objectives in the context of the entire life. To overcome this problem, this study attempts to demonstrate the lesson model utilizing the storytelling where the lively participation in the process and results of learning can increase learners' self-confidence and responsibility. This lesson model is believed to facilitate the communication among participants including teachers and students. Through this alternative teaching method, learners can participate in the process of learning so that they can acquire practical knowledge: this method can be a step-stone for further development. In conclusion, the development of curriculum and lesson plans should be encouraged.

  • 웹이 등장하면서 지금까지 인터넷 상에서 텍스트와 이미지를 이용하여 정보를 표현하고 전달하는 방법이 가장 많이 사용되어왔다. 그러나 웹 관련 기술의 비약적인 발달과 네트워크 속도의 증가 및 인터넷의 급속한 보급으로 단순한 텍스트와 이미지 중심의 HTML 문서를 이용한 정보의 전달이 아닌 멀티미디어 데이터를 이용한 정보의 표현과 전달이 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하기 위한 스트리밍 프로토콜도 등장하였다. 최근에는 컴퓨터의 성능 증가 및 네트워크 속도의 증가(초고속 통신 서비스의 보급)에 의해 멀티미디어 데이터의 전송이 가능하게 됨으로써 기존의 공중파나 CATV 방송국의 형태 지니고 인터넷 상에서 실시간 생방송 서비스와 VOD(Video On Demand) 서비스를 제공하는 인터넷 방송국이 급속하게 생겨나고 있다.   • The purpose of this paper is to examine the characteristics of organic relations according to the characteristics of space and place in which human activities are spreading. The diffusion of various human experiences and the interaction of space and place that form a mutual construction network create momentum for expanding individual or collective experiences. The space and place that lead to the interactions of human activities are expressed in various ways. Through the domestic travel program especially, the ways of expressing space and place are spreading as various "fields of experience." The composition and the expression system of a travel program is transformed into a subject of thought, not a mere experience of space and place through the formation of a "field of experience" that can be thought out and thought of as an existing travel style. Therefore, in this study, we examine the characteristics of the MBC Plus channel from a socio-cultural perspective, expressed through the experience of space and place characteristics expressed through a travel program. The result of an analysis of story development composition for this study shows that the experience of space and place minimizes the boundaries of various cultural discounts according to their relationships to food and communication. In addition, the analysis results of a three-way communication structure show that the emotional code of the audience is maximized through the process of maximizing the effect of reality, and minimizing the gap between the cultural differences and the boundaries through the empathic situation and the empathic subject.

Understanding Purposes and Functions of Students' Drawing while on Geological Field Trips and during Modeling-Based Learning Cycle (야외지질답사 및 모델링 기반 순환 학습에서 학생들이 그린 그림의 목적과 기능에 대한 이해)

  • The purpose of this study was to qualitatively examine the meaning of students' drawings in outdoor classes and modeling-based learning cycles. Ten students were observed in a gifted education center in Seoul. Under the theme of the Hantan River, three outdoor classes and three modeling activities were conducted. Data were collected to document all student activities during field trips and classroom modeling activities using simultaneous video and audio recording and observation notes made by the researcher and students. Hatisaru (2020) Ddrawing typess were classified by modifying the representations in a learning context in geological field trips. We used deductive content analysis to describe the drawing characteristics, including students writing. The results suggest that students have symbolic images that consist of geologic concepts, visual images that describe topographical features, and affective images that express students' emotion domains. The characteristics were classified into explanation, generality, elaboration, evidence, coherence, and state-of-mind. The characteristics and drawing types are consecutive in the modeling-based learning cycle and reflect the students' positive attitude and cognitive scientific domain. Drawing is a useful tool for reflecting students' thoughts and opinions in both outdoor class and classroom modeling activities. This study provides implications for emphasizing the importance of drawing activities.

  • Chinese youth films fall into the dilemma of continuous development after experiencing rapid development from 2013 to 2017. How to update the creative ideas and methods of the films, arouse the audience's interest in watching and stimulate a new aesthetic experience has become a focal point for the creators who concern about the Chinese film market. "Us and Them" is a successful youth film in 2018. Its creative practice proves that defamiliarization can provide theoretical and methodological basis for the creation of Chinese youth films. Therefore, taking the current situation of Chinese youth film as the research background, treating "Us and Them" as the research object, the defamiliarization of narrative discourse and narrative content used in the film are analyzed. First, the defamiliarization of narrative discourse composed of scenes, characters and plots makes the film "stand out" from the real world. Second, the defamiliarization of narrative content composed of metropolis adoration, self-identity and hometown affection makes the film "stand out" from the existing context. These methods of creation not only meet the needs of the contemporary, but also provide an effective reference for the creation of other youth films. Research will be needed to utilize the elements of defamiliarization through the analysis of the successful case in spite of the time change.

Applying the Metaverse Platform and Contents in Practical Engineering Education (공학교육 현장에서의 메타버스 플랫폼 및 콘텐츠 활용)

  • Recently, metaverse is rapidly expanding its area as a platform that can be applied to various fields. In particular, the function that allows many users to interact in a three-dimensional space allows VR/AR-based educational content to be used as a more advanced concept. Due to the nature of engineering education, it is often based on three-dimensional objects. In the case of a three-dimensional object, it is difficult to explain through two-dimensional videos or documents, and it becomes more difficult to express when the process of changing the object is included. The three-dimensional space of the metaverse can improve this difficulty based on real-time rendering. Another characteristic of engineering education is that there are many invisible elements. Although it is involved in the movement of objects due to electromagnetic fields, magnetic fields, and forces, it is the main reason for increasing learning difficulty because it is invisible. These problems can also help learning because they can be visually represented in the metaverse space. In this paper, the results of the establishment of the metaverse platform for engineering education and the real-time lecture contents produced based on it are described, and the applied results and lecture evaluation are discussed. Lectures using a total of 9 metaverse contents were conducted, and 90% of the positive lecture evaluation results were obtained.

  • Signs of the street and scenes of the nature(tree) popping up like a still screen in a monotonously repeated routine, as if waiting for something by chance, characters appearing and disappearing without special meaning, advise you to get away from cliché meetings and breakups while repeating it. The images of people returning to their places without presenting any conclusions highlights the coincidences and unexpectedness of everyday life, but are so familiar that it is easy to be overlooked, it brings us to experience the potential of everyday unfamiliarity in such moments. The actor's performance, which deviates from the practice of well-organized characters, is improvised (unplanned and uncoordinated) emphasized on the scene and expresses the everyday nature of his differentiated character freely like the reality as if he were locked up in a film structure but not confined to it, and as if he got used to the everyday life. Also the repeated words and actions of characters, and unpredictable changes of emotions, centered by the encounters and conversations of this film of Hong Sang-soo, everything that is presented in the background of everyday life in its form, let's us pay attention to the meaning and what to be found in the film. In addition, director Hong Sang-soo, who creates a story after selecting actors to reproduce this daily process in a realistic manner, sets new relationships between the characters and the actors, presenting a new method of realistic expression, through the actor who repeatedly appears in the film. This study analyzes the everyday characters and acting of the film based on director Hong Sang-soo's directing style.
