A Qualitative Study on the Procedures and Characteristics of reading service Provision at Center of Archival Information of National Archives of Korea (국가기록원 기록정보센터의 열람서비스 제공 절차 및 특징에 관한 질적 연구)

  • Archival reference service is the ultimate goal and outcome of records management. It encompasses a whole range of activities to connect records with the demands for them. Intellectual needs for records are met by the procedure of information disclosure to guarantee the people's right to know and to provide active responses to archival information needs. Thus, it is required to establish an efficient search system by unifying search tools for archives used in information disclosure and sorting out the classification systems and description items according to the archive types. The qualitative enhancement of information disclosure can be expected when there is a harmonious circulation of attributes-such as applicants, records, search tools, and information providers-for the smooth implementation of reading processes in the context of archival reference service. Therefore, the present study holds its significance in the following aspects. First, it presented a picture of pending issues and the reality of reading service processes from an internal perspective by examining the factors and characteristics that influence "reading service."Second, it demonstrated the phenomenon of close interactions among information providers, applicant, search tools, and records in the process of requesting, searching, and providing records. Third, it proposed the need for a total integrated search tool around the pending issues of reading processes at the National Archives of Korea. Fourth, it promoted an understanding of archival information utilization at the working level among information providers. Finally, it showed major differences in the quality of information provision of "reading service" according to the "perceptions" and "attitudes" of information providers.

  • 이윤추구를 목표로 하는 기업의 모든 활동에는 매출, 매입 등의 다양한 정보가 지속적으로 발생한다. 이렇게 생성된 정보는 CEO에게 작게는 영업사원의 실적을 평가하는 요소이며 크게는 전체적인 시장상황을 직시할 수 있는 신뢰 높은 데이터가 되므로 효율적으로 관리할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 급변하는 시장 속에서도 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 영업 전략을 수립하고, 근태관리프로세스를 통한 각 사원의 회사에 대한 기여도를 체크 하는 등 CEO가 전반적인 기업운영을 효율적으로 할 수 있도록 하며, 각 사원이 자신의 영업이익과 거래처에 대한 신뢰도를 평가 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 온라인을 기반으로 데이터가 실시간으로 공유될 수 있도록 구성되어 있으며, 각 사원이 갖는 권한에 따라 정보열람이 제한 되도록 하였다.

  • 최근 대학도서관들은 정보화 환경에 대한 능동적 대처를 위하여 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 교수나 학생의 연구, 교육, 학습에 필요한 각종 전자 정보원을 한 장소에서 검색, 열람이 가능하고 대학의 구성원들에게 새로운 정보기술과 정보의 활용 능력을 교육시키기 위한 다양한 기능을 가진 하나의 복합 공간으로서 전자 정보실 또는 멀티미디어실(이하 멀 티미디어실) 등을 설치, 운영하고 있다 그러나 아직도 대학도서관 내의 멀티미디어실의 역할과 개념이 모호하다는 지적이 나오고 있다. 이러한 가운데 운영면에서도 표준 솔루션의 부재로 관리 전산화가 이루어져 있는 곳이 부족하여 인력 및 시간의 낭비가 초래되고 이용자 관리에 있어서 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 체계적인 운영이 이루어지지 않고서는 양질의 서비스 제공은 기대하기 어려울 것이다. 따라서 전국 대학 도서관에 적용할 수 있는 표준적인 멀티미디어실 관리 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 기반의 정보시스템 구축 방법론을 제시하고, 제시된 방법론의 유효성(effectiveness)을 검증하기 위하여, 본 방법론에 입각하여 동국대학교 경주캠퍼스의 멀티미디어실 업무 프로세스를 분석 설계하였다. 시스템 구현을 위해서, 데이터 베이스로는 Oracle RDBMS를, 개발도구로는 Visual Basic 6.0을 사용하였다 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템을 통하여 멀티미디어실의 효과적인 운영관리에 대한 기반정립에 기여하고, 향후 장기적인 발전계획 수립에 하나의 도구로서 사용될 수 있다고 판단된다.

  • Based on the previous year's statistics, 37% of buildings in South Korea are aged over 30 years. As the number of the aging buildings increases, so does the need for maintenance. Building maintenance involves a significant number of works; the work of 'maintenance manager' accounting for the largest part. Currently, the maintenance history record is mostly in drawing or handwritten form which makes reviewing the data highly time consuming. Therefore, to improve the convenience of maintenance works and optimize historical data management, the existing maintenance process was analyzed. Problems were derived and a smart device-based automation model was established. In order to establish a smart device-based automation model, ① general flow of facility management process was analyzed and related articles were reviewed, ② current maintenance process was optimized, ③ functional block diagram of BIM Data, COBie Data, IoT, and AR-based automated maintenance management model was created, ④ a smart device-based automated maintenance management model was constructed, ⑤ finally, the above system was verified by testing the aforementioned model in the field site, evaluating the time required for the maintenance process and reviewing maintenance history data against the current one.

  • HMS(Hydrological Modelling system)는 유역의 지형자료와 강우와 같은 기상관련 시계열 자료 등 수문 유출과 관련되는 많은 매개변수를 포함하고 있으며, 모형의 구동을 위해서는 다양한 공간 비공간 자료 및 시계열 자료가 요구된다. 특히 다양한 비공간 정보의 경우 이를 모형에 적용하기 위해서는 비공간 정보에 대한 열람, 선택, 편집, 적용 시나리오의 설정, 입력변수의 적절성 평가, 모형 구동결과의 검 보정 등 복잡한 절차가 필요하다. 최근 들어 공간자료의 효율적 처리를 위해서 지리정보시스템과 수리 수문모델들 간의 연계를 통한 자료 생성과 입력 및 분석과정을 일괄적으로 처리하고자 하는 연구들이 발표되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국형 수자원지리정보시스템인 HyGIS와 HMS 모형의 연계 시스템인 HyGIS-HMS의 개t선과 적용성 평가를 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 HyGIS-HMS 데이터 모델을 기반으로 하는 시스템의 운영 프로세스를 재정립하였다. HyGIS에서 구축된 공간 DB를 이용하여 HMS 모형의 입력 지형인자를 계산하고 있으며, 수문시계열 자료는 HyGIS의 시계열 DB를 이용하고 있다. HMS에서는 공간 자료와 시계열 자료 외에도 다양한 비공간 자료를 이용하고 있다. 이러한 비공간 정보를 DB기반 시스템에 맞추어 효과적으로 관리 및 사용하기 위하여 HyGIS-HMS에서는 Static DB를 이용하고 있으며, Static DB에서 모형의 입력자료로 직접 이용되는 자료와 모형의 수행결과는 Dynamic DB를 이용하고 있다. 또한 개발된 시스템을 경안천 유역에 적용하여 2006년과 2007년의 유출특성을 분석하였다. 이러한 개발환경의 적용을 통해 HyGIS 데이터모델과 HyGIS-Model의 운영환경이 HyGIS-HMS개발에 효과적으로 이용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Every activity of companies whose goal is pursuit of profits occurs much information such as buying and selling consistently. This information is a factor that evaluates employees' results at least and can be a highly trusted data for facing an overall market conditions at large for CEO, so it should be managed efficiently. This paper helps CEO to run a business efficiently by establishing the business strategy for dealing flexibly and checking the level of contribution of each of employees through the management process in the rapidly changing market and it tries to construct the system that employees can evaluate their business profits and is able to evaluate the reliability of connections. This system is based on On-line, able to share data in real time, and limits an employees' authority for access capability of information.

The Utilization of the Archival Contents of the National Archives of Korea via YouTube Channel (유튜브(YouTube) 채널을 통한 국가기록원 기록정보콘텐츠 활용방안)

  • The archival contents of the National Archives of Korea are organized so that anyone can easily use the records with a lot of social interest or request for reading. However, there are some problems in accessibility of archival contents, lack of detailed information, difficult to use and less interesting delivery method, and lack of customized content. As an alternative to this, this study proposed the utilization method of the archival contents of the National Archives through YouTube channel. For this purpose, we analyze the status and problems of the archival contents of the National Archives and understand the contents of the YouTube channel of the foreign agencies and the National Archives, and evaluate and compare them. Based on this, we propose and apply the process of the archival contents visualization using YouTube. Through this, We expect that the recognition and usability of the contents information of the National Archives of Records will be improved.

A Development of Design database structure and Database Application System applicable for design Foundation Courses. (디자인 데이터베이스 체계구축 및 운용시스템 개발에 관한 연구 -기초조형교육을 중심으로-)

  • As network and multimedia service has increased in educational environment, it is needed to study on digital system based educational scenarios, especially in art and design departments in which visual educational materials mainly used. Therefore, this study was conducted with three objectives: first, developing components of design database and their classification system, second, developing contents of database for fundamental form education in design, and third, developing application method of database. According to these objectives, the secondary research was implemented into two directions; the analysis of classification categories of design, and the analysis of contents and process of fundamental form design education. From the secondary research, it was found that design database should have a flexible structure with flexible components as well as fixed components to include subjective and aesthetic assessment. In the end, the application methods and user interface system of design database was developed based on design educational scenarios.

  • Purpose: To enlarge the efficiency of operation and establish a constituency for development of new radiotherapy treatment through database which is established by arranging and indexing radiotherapy related affairs in well organized manner to have easy access by the user. Materials and Methods: In this study, Access program provided by Microsoft (MS Office Access) was used to operate the data base. The data of radiation oncology was distinguished by a business logs and maintenance expenditure in addition to stock management of accessories with respect to affairs and machinery management. Data for education and research was distinguished by education material for department duties, user manual and related thesis depending upon its property. Registration of data was designed to have input form according to its subject and the information of data was designed to be inspected by making a report. Number of machine failure in addition to its respective repairing hours from machine maintenance expenditure in a period of January 2008 to April 2009 was analyzed with the result of initial system usage and one year after the usage. Results: Radiation oncology database system was accomplished by distinguishing work related and research related criteria. The data are arranged and collected according to its subjects and classes, and can be accessed by searching the required data through referring the descriptions from each criteria. 32.3% of total average time was reduced on analyzing repairing hours by acquiring number of machine failure in addition to its type in a period of January 2008 to April 2009 through machine maintenance expenditure. Conclusion: On distinguishing and indexing present and past data upon its subjective criteria through the database system for radiation oncology, the use of information can be easily accessed to enlarge the efficiency of operation, and in further, can be a constituency for improvement of work process by acquiring various information required for new radiotherapy treatment in real time.
