The Effect of Family Violence Exposure on School Violence: Focusing on Attitude toward School Violence (청소년들의 가정폭력노출경험이 학교폭력가해행동에 미치는 영향: 학교폭력에 대한 태도의 매개효과)

  • This study examine the effects of exposure to family violence on adolescent's school violence toward peers and whether attitude toward school violence mediate in the process to provide theoretical basis for prevention and treatment for the problems of adolescent who exposed to child abuse and interparental violence. Total 1140 adolescent answered were collected from and grade in middle school students to and grade in high school students in Seoul and Kyung-gi. Frequency analysis was done to assess the actual condition of school violence, child abuse, interparental violence, attitude toward school violence. Structural equation modeling was used to examine the effects of exposure to family violence on adolescent's school violence and the mediating role of attitude toward school violence in the process. The results of this study are: (1) exposure of child abuse have strong positive influences on adolescent's school violence, (2) attitude toward school violence mediate family violence and school violence.

A Study on the Relationships Among Absorptive Capacity of Employees, Organizational Citizenship, SCM performance, and Intention to Innovate (조직 구성원의 흡수능력, 조직 시민 행동, SCM 성과 및 혁신의도 간 연관관계 연구)

  • Organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB) are discretionary behaviors of employees, which go beyond that which is required, and are known to be contributing factors of organizational performance. When a supply chain management(SCM) system is implemented, organizational knowledge concerning the global standards, process innovation and key performance indicators(KPI) is also spread out across different, disconnected silos, thus increasing the absorptive and innovative capacity of employees. Therefore, OCB may be an important antecedent to successful operation of supply chain. This paper examines the causal relationships among absorptive capacity of employees, organizational citizenship, SCM performance and intention to innovate in global manufacturing corporations in Korea. Empirical results from 122 survey responses indicate that the organizational citizenship affects the level of SCM performance and absorptive capacity, which, in turn, influences SCM performance. As expected, SCM performance has been found to affect intention to innovate, but absorptive capacity has no impact on intention to innovate. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of health privacy information on the relationship between the factors that affect the behavioral intention of the usage of u-health system have. Therefore, as a research hypothesis in TRA (Theory of Reasoned Action), self-efficacy and perceived usefulness will have a positive effect on the behavioral intention of the u-health system, and in the path, that personal information factors have an effect on each path. This study used the PLS-SEM methodology to verify the proposed research model. As a result of the analysis, this study showed that the moderating effect of health personal information in the presented model affects to some extent by the increase of R2 explanatory power. However, it was found that it was more consistent with the role of the independent variable rather than the moderating influence on the perceived usefulness.

  • 기존의 유통연구는 주로 유통점 위주의 관점에서 이루어진 것들이 대부분으로 소비자의 구매의사결정과정 속에서 유통점들이 어떠한 상대적 지위와 역할을 담당하고 있는가를 규명하기 위한 실증적인 연구는 충분하지 않았다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 서로 다른 특성들을 갖고 있는 유통점들이 소비자 구매의사결정과정 내에서도 서로 다론 위치와 역할을 차지하고 있다는 입장에서 출발하였다. 즉, 소비자들이 자신의 구매의사결정단계마다 각 유통점들을 서로 다른 지위와 역할을 하는 것으로 지각한다는 것이다. 실증연구 결과, 가전제품 유통점의 경우 실제로 소비자들의 구매의사결정과정이라는 지각 속에 각 유통점들의 상대적인 위치와 역할의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 각 유통점별로 지각위험의 일종인 점포장애(store barriers)가 다르게 나타났고, 점포장애가 점포선호도, 방문빈도, 구매빈도와 일정부분 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 유통점으로서는 해당 점포장애를 줄이는 대책이 필요할 것이다. 한편 상표고려군(개수)에 있어서는 구매의사결정의 첫단계인 문제인식단계와 최종구매단계 사이에 차이가 없어 제조업체로서는 가전제품의 문제인식단계의 유통점에 제품을 유통시켜 소비자들의 상표고려군에 자사의 상표를 포함시키는 것이 중요하다는 시사점을 발견할 수 있었다.

Trust in organizations: Conceptualization and Trends (조직내 신뢰: 개념화와 연구동향)

  • This paper examines the diverse conceptualizations of trust and explores the multi-level factors affecting trust in organizations. Trust in organizations can be defined as a willingness to be vulnerable to the actions of others and to take risks based on the positive expectations toward the others' intentions and behaviors. The process of building and the content of trust in organizations can vary depending on the social and cultural backgrounds in which. the organizations lie. The reengineering process toward a flatter and flexible organizational structure requires the presence of trusting relationships within organizations. Networks within organizations can function as a basis and channel of trust formation. Finally, the importance of trust in efficient leadership process was discussed.

  • Based on a comprehensive literature review on Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Theory, this study proposes and empirically examines a structural model consisting of factors affecting voluntary information security compliance behavior. To test the proposed research model, the study analyzes survey results from employees of a major Korean energy company, which employs an enterprise compliance support system. Results indicate three factors: compliance behavioral belief and compliance knowledge affect compliance behavior; compliance knowledge works as a mediator in the relationship between compliance behavioral belief and compliance behavior; and the more relevant the compliance is to an employee's job, the more the employee prioritizes compliance knowledge. This study suggests methods for encouraging employees to embrace voluntary, positive information security compliance standards. By doing so, this article aims to promote a more effective corporate compliance system for information security and enhance sustainable management practices.

Effects of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Turnover Intentions in Marine Officers as Mediated by Organizational Commitment (해기사의 조직시민행동이 조직몰입을 매개로 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The marine officer plays a pivotal role in the shipping organization as a professional who performs a complex and diverse function. On the sea, unlike land duty, the possibility of turnover increases due to characteristics such as living in isolated spaces, continuous shift work during a set sailing period, high intensity work tension, stress, and social isolation. In this study, the impact of the organization's civic actions on the intention of turnover as a mediator of organizational immersion was divided into three groups of large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and public enterprises to check the differences between each category in a structural manner. Analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences between the groups in loyalty and turnover intention when the sub-factors of organizational commitment and organizational citizen behavior of the marine officer, and the size of turnover intention were included. Organization citizen behavior did not directly affect turnover intention, but when indirect effects were included, there was an effect through loyalty, and relationship-oriented organizational citizen behavior negatively affected turnover intention through loyalty. Excluding public enterprises, the non-standardization path coefficients were -0.229±0.117 and -0.319±0.068, respectively, showing a statistically significant effect in large companies and SMEs. These results indicate that in order to lower the employee turnover intention in large corporations and small and medium-sized shipping companies, it is necessary to consider not only organizational citizen behavior but also measures to increase organizational commitment.

A study on the effects of safety leadership and trust in leader on safety behavior mediated by workers' involvement and safety knowledge (안전 리더십과 리더 신뢰가 근로자 참여 및 안전 지식을 매개로 안전 행동에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study empirically investigated the relationship between workers' safety behavior and safety leadership, trust in leader, workers' involvement, and safety knowledge in the enterprise, and analyzed the role of the factors to identify and analyze factors that enhance workers' safety behavior that contribute to the prevention of major accidents in the enterprise. When industrial accidents occur, companies have to bear huge loss costs due to direct costs of compensating the victims and indirect costs such as human loss, material loss, production loss, and time loss. Based on the results of previous studies, this study investigated the effects of managerial safety leadership and workers' trust in leader on safety behavior through the mediation of workers' involvement and safety knowledge among production, technical, and labor workers in the manufacturing industry. Statistical analysis was conducted on 271 manufacturing workers using SPSS and PLS. The results showed that safety leadership and trust in leader can lead to workers' involvement and have a positive effect on workers' safety knowledge acquisition, which can lead to workers' safety behavior.

Behavior and perception characteristics on the isolated students and the bystanders in physical education (체육수업 참여 학생들의 교우관계 소외자와 방관자 행동 특성 및 인식 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the nature and recognition of the isolated students and bystanders in respect of friendship in Middle School Physical Education. To achieve these objectives, we analyzed statistical material through PQR and inductive category by completing open questionnaires for 360 students bullied in public middle school in a large city. According the results, first, damages defender of participants showed the highest percentage, 70.2%. There were bystanders(12.3), the alienated(7.4) inflictor(5.5), contributor(4.6) in descending order. Second, according to the results of inductive analysis regarding the nature and recognition of bystanders in physical education, the biggest reason for not helping their colleagues in need is as following: ① improper friendship(32.8), ② lack of moral and emotional empathy(28.1), ③ lack of exercise ability(15.6), ④ psychological burden(12.5), ⑤ improper class attitude(10.9). In numerical order, improper friendship can be the biggest problem that.

Inhibitory Effort of the N-terminal GST on the Tautomerase Activity of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor (GST 융합 시스템에서 나타나는 macrophage migration inhibitory factor의 tautomerase 활성 저해에 관한 연구)

  • Macrophage migration inhibitory fartor (MIF), known as a cytokine, is a multifunctional protein that is ubiquitously expressed in a variety of cells and tissues; however, enzymatic function of MIF still remains elusive in cells. In this study, we assessed details of the tautomerase activity of MIF. We established rapid purification condition for MIF by using pGEX system and compared the L-dopachrome tautomerase activity of GST-MIF, tMIF, and MIF. The results show that GST (glutathione S-transferase)-epitope tag or N-terminal amino acids flanking the essential $P^{2}$ almost completely abrogated L-dopachrome tautomerase activity of MIF. Subsequently, to determine whether the N-terminal tags have effects on oligomerization of MIF, protein cross-linking products were analyzed on $15\%$ SDS-PACE. The result demonstrates that N-terminal tags are dispensable for the formation of MIF's homooligomers. Thus, the results imply that exposure of If containing hydrophobic pocket in the active site is critical for L-dopachrome tautomerase activity of MIF. In addition, our study suggest that the MIF's tautomerase activity might be influenced by interacting with cellular partners.
