The average of the value-creation competency group consisting of innovation, social value orientation, and change agility was relatively lower than the challenge, group creativity, and self-directed competency group. The difference of the entrepreneurship core competency level between the grades was not significant, and female students' competency levels were statistically significantly higher than male students. In addition, the average of the four core competencies of entrepreneurship in the group that recognizes the importance of entrepreneurship as essential competencies was statistically higher than that of their counterparts. Based on the results of this study, the implications for the design and development of a program for enhancing entrepreneurship competency for elementary school pre-service teachers were presented.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a secondary teacher training program based on the TPACK model to strengthen the capacity of teachers of youth entrepreneurship education in the context of the increasing importance of entrepreneurship as a future competency, and to provide theoretical and practical implications based on it. To this end, a teacher training program was developed through the process of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation based on the ADDIE model, and 22 secondary school teachers in Gangwon Province were trained and the effectiveness and validity were analyzed. First, the results of the paired sample t-test of TPACK in entrepreneurship education conducted before and after the program showed statistically significant improvements in all sub-competencies. Second, the satisfaction survey of the training program showed that the overall satisfaction was high with M=4.83. Third, the validity of the program was reviewed by three experts, and it was found to be highly valid with a validity of M=5.0, usefulness of M=4.7, and universality of M=5.0. Based on the results, it is suggested that in order to expand entrepreneurship education, opportunities for teachers' holistic capacity building such as TPACK should be expanded, teachers' understanding and practice of backward design should be promoted, and access to various resources that can be utilized in entrepreneurship education should be improved.

The subjects of the study were 218 students enrolled in the department of nursing at two universities located in one region, data collection was conducted from 16 October to 27 October 2023. Data analysis was performed using SPSS/WIN version 26.0 program, descriptive statistics, and difference verification were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, Results, The enneagram personality type of the subjects of this study was the most common type 9. And in the enneagram center of power, the instinct-centered type had the highest nursing competence, the thought-centered type had the highest clinical reasoning competence, and the emotion-centered type had the highest empathy ability. In addition, nursing competence and clinical reasoning competence showed a significant positive correlation, and clinical reasoning competence and empathy ability were also found to be positively correlated. Therefore, it is important to continue to develop and apply individualized competency building programs that reflect personality type tests to nursing students. In addition, the higher the empathy ability, the higher the clinical reasoning competence, so it is thought that it is necessary to develop a standardized curriculum that can improve nursing competence and clinical reasoning competence and verify its effectiveness.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the landscape of knowledge and information services that public libraries around the world have been providing since modern times. In particular, as social distancing has become routine, the contraction of cultural activities and the shift to online platforms have negatively impacted library visitation and use services, greatly reducing borrowing and reading, use of spaces and facilities, interlibrary loan services, program operations, and outreach services. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the current status of services provided by public libraries in Korea and abroad in response to COVID-19, and proposed practical ways to improve and expand services in response to COVID-19 based on the results of a survey of librarians' perceptions. Specifically, these include improving the online reservation system for reading and borrowing services and developing and providing various outreach services, acquiring and expanding electronic resources, expanding online program services (reading, culture, lifelong learning, etc.), strengthening library services for vulnerable populations, providing information portal services related to new infectious diseases, strengthening facilities and space provision services, preparing infectious disease response guidelines, and providing education and training to strengthen librarians' capabilities.

  • The university bachelor's system is based on autonomy, but due to the rigid academic structure, it is not appropriate to respond to changes in social demand. Recently, universities are pursuing diversification of their bachelor's system. With the introduction of various majors (linkage major, convergence major, autonomic major, and self-design major), efforts are being made to nurture convergence talent based on mutual linkages between major and departments. This study introduces the design and operation process of 'Global Creative Convergence Major' which the four universities of Chungcheong region promoted as a union. In particular, it derives the key elements of each step and presents the operating model and implications based on the main features. Convergence major operation model constitutes educational system (talent award, educational goal, competency factor, curriculum) through linkage between specialization areas of universities. The competency elements contain creative competence, convergence competency, problem solving competency, and global competency.

  • This study examined the relationships among patient safety competence, critical thinking disposition, problem-solving competence, and self-efficacy of clinical nurses to identify the factors influencing the patient safety competence. A convenience sample of 373 nurses working in 4 general hospitals in a Metropolitan area in Korea was selected. After obtaining IRB approval, data collection was done with a structured self-administered questionnaire from October 14th to November 4th, 2014. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The participants showed a moderate level of patient safety competence ($3.75{\pm}0.37$), of critical thinking disposition ($3.43{\pm}0.27$), of problem solving competence ($3.54{\pm}0.30$), and of self-efficacy ($3.58{\pm}0.47$). The patient safety competence of the participants showed a significant correlation with the critical thinking disposition (r=.493, p<.001), problem solving competence (r=.616, p<.001), and self-efficacy (r=.475, p<.001). The significant factors influencing the patient safety competence were problem solving competence (${\beta}=.403$, p<.001), self-efficacy (${\beta}=.156$, p=.005), critical thinking disposition (${\beta}=.130$, p=.018), and having the experience of reporting patient safety accidents (${\beta}=.137$, p=.002). The results suggest that educational programs to enhance the critical thinking disposition, problem-solving competence, and self-efficacy would develop the patient safety competence of clinical nurses. In addition, more effort should be placed into reinforcing the patient safety competence by activating the report of patient safety accidents.
