A study on a conceptual model of AI Capability's role to optimize duplication of defense AI requirements (국방 AI 소요의 중복 최적화를 위한 AI 능력(Capability)의 역할 개념모델 연구)

  • Multidimensional efforts such as budgeting, organizing, and institutionalizing are being carried out for the adoption of defense AI. However, there is little interest in eliminating duplication of defense resources that may occur during the AI adoption. In this study, we propose a theoretical conceptual model to optimize duplication of AI technology that may occur during the AI adoption in the vast defense field. For a systematic approach, the JCA of the US DoD and system abstraction method are applied, and the IMO logical structure is used to decompose AI requirements and identify duplication. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of our conceptual model through six example defense AI requirements, it was found that the amount of requirements of data and AI technologies could be reduced by up to 41.7% and 70%, respectively, and estimated costs could be reduced by up to 35.5%.

  • 사이버 범죄가 증가함에 따라 익명성을 보장하는 암시장인 다크웹 내 불법적인 활동에 대한 모니터링의 중요성이 커졌다. 최근 다양한 분야에서 ChatGPT 의 쓰임이 주목받고 있듯이 다크웹에서도 전용 GPT 가 등장하였으며, 다크웹 생태계를 분석하고 정보를 수집하는데 이러한 다크웹 전용 생성형 인공지능 모델을 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다크웹 GPT 에서 불법 행위와 관련된 질의를 통해 정보를 수집하고 해당 정보가 표면웹과 다크웹 상에서 다르게 쓰이고 있음을 확인함으로써 수사를 위한 다크웹 전용 GPT 활용 가능성 및 프롬프트 엔지니어링의 필요성을 탐구한다.

  • 원자력 발전소의 원자로 냉각 시스템을 대상으로 국제 표준 데이터 모델링 방법과 기존의 현업에서 사용되는 Project Numbering System 기반의 데이터 모델링 방법을 사용하여 시스템 모델링을 수행하였고 비교 분석하였다. 국제 표준 중심의 시스템 모델을 채택하여 활용한다면 향후 전력 분야 정보 시스템 및 데이터간의 상호 운영성과 데이터 공유 및 교환 문제를 해결할 수 있고 이에 따른 막대한 경비 절감을 기대할 수 있다.

  • Over the past decades, there have been numerous studies for approaches to build and operate electronic government systems. Among those studies, work breakdown structure(WBS) has been gained attention increasingly. As a general system engineering techniques. WBS is a kind of methods to engineer and manage electronic government systems effectively. WBS is to organizes tasks and data items for management and engineering for electronic government systems. In this paper, the authors proposed a conceptual WBS model for management and engineering electronic government systems. Also, the authors conducted a case study based on the conceptual WBS model. The results of this study provide useful insights and guidelines for applying the WBS to management and engineering for electronic government systems. The authors believed that the conceptual WBS models will be widely used to management and engineering an electronic government systems.

  • Engineering's work area for plants is a technical area that directly affects productivity, performance, and quality throughout the lifecycle from planning, design, construction, operation and disposal. Using the different types of data that occur to make decisions is important not only in the subsequent process but also in terms of cyclical cost reduction. However, there is a lack of systems to manage and analyze these integrated data. In this paper, we developed a knowledge base-based plant engineering analysis platform that can manage and utilize data. The platform provides a knowledge base that preprocesses previously collected engineering data, and provides analysis and visualization to use it as reference data in AI models. Users can perform data analysis through the use of prior technology and accumulated knowledge through the platform and use visualization in decision-support and systematically manage construction that relied only on experience.

  • 최근 자연어 이해 분야에서 대규모 언어모델 기반으로 프롬프트를 활용하여 모델과 상호작용하는 방법이 널리 연구되고 있으며, 특히 상담 분야에서 언어모델을 활용한다면 내담자와의 자연스러운 대화를 주도할 수 있는 대화생성 모델로 확장이 가능하다. 내담자의 상황에 따라 개인화된 상담대화를 진행하는 모델을 학습시키려면 동일한 내담자에 대한 과거 및 차기 상담대화가 필요하지만, 기존의 데이터셋은 대체로 단일 대화세션으로 구축되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 언어모델을 활용하여 단일 대화세션으로 구축된 기존 상담대화 데이터셋을 확장하여 연속된 대화세션 구성의 학습데이터를 확보할 수 있는 프롬프트 기반 데이터 증강 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 기존 대화내용을 반영한 요약질문 생성단계와 대화맥락을 유지한 차기 상담대화 생성 단계로 구성되며, 프롬프트 엔지니어링을 통해 상담 분야의 데이터셋을 확장하고 사용자 평가를 통해 제안 기법의 데이터 증강이 품질에 미치는 영향을 확인한다.

Model setup and optimization of the terminal rise velocity of microbubbles using polynomial regression analysis (다항식 회귀분석을 이용한 마이크로 버블의 종말상승속도 모델식 구축 및 운전조건 최적화)

  • In this study, three parameters (Pressure ($X_1$), Airflow rate ($X_2$), Operation time ($X_3$)) were experimentally designed and the predicted model and optimal conditions were established by using the terminal rise velocity of the microbubbles as the response value. The polynomial regression analysis showed that the optimum value for the terminal rise velocity at the Pressure ($X_1$) of 4.5 bar, Airflow rate ($X_2$) of 3.3 L/min and Operation time ($X_3$) of 2.2 min was 5.14 cm/min ($85.7{\mu}m/sec$). Also, the highest microbubble diameter size distribution in the range of 2 to $5{\mu}m$ and 25 to $50{\mu}m$ was confirmed by using a laser particle counting apparatus.

  • MPLS는 계층 3과 계층 2 기술의 결합으로 고속의 패킷 전송 및 다양한 트래픽 엔지니어링을 가능하게 한다. GSMP는 마스터-슬래이브 관계를 형성하는 IETF의 개방형 인터페이스이다. 본 논문에서는 MPLS 네트워크의 망 관리와 GSMP의 연동 필요성 및 모델을 제안하며 제안된 연동 모델의 실현성을 확인하기 위하여 구현한 컨트롤러에 대하여 기술한다.

  • Current turbulence models including modified $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model do not predict compression effect on turbulence accurately in an internal combustion engine. The $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model was suggested to improve the predictability of compression effect by We et al. In this paper a numeri-cal study was performed to clarify the applicability of the $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulenc model to the calculation of the in-cylinder flow of an axisymmetric engine. THe results using $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model are compared to those from the modified $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model and experimental data. The mean veloc-ity and rms velocity profiles using $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model showed a better agreement with an experimental data than those of modifid $K-{\varepsilon}-e$ turbulence model.

  • Applicability of the RNG k-$\varepsilon$ model to the analysis of unsteady axisymmetric turbulent flow of a reciprocating engine including port/valve assembly is studied numerically. The governing equations based on non-orthogonal including port/valve assembly is studied numerically. The governing equations based on a non-orthogonal coordinate formulation with Cartesian velocity components are used and discretised by the finite volume method with non-staggered variable arrangements. The predicted results using the RNG k-$\varepsilon$ model of the unsteady axisymmetric turbulent flow within a cylinder of reciprocating model engine including port/valve assembly are compared to these from the modified k-$\varepsilon$ model and experimental data. Using the RNG k-$\varepsilon$ model seems the have some potential for the simulations of the unsteady turbulent flow within a port/valve-cylinder assembly over the modified k-$\varepsilon$model.
