Statistical analysis menus of MS Excel software, with powerful spreadsheet functions has not been modified since Excel 2000 Edition and its utilization is very low. To improve utilization of Excel menu for statistical analysis, this research compared outputs of Excel statistical menus and computed test statistics, and developed high-level macros. Outputs of Excel menus, both oneway layout and twoway layout, on real data are exactly same as the computed test statistics, and therefore, Excel menus for statistical analysis are reliable. Macros to provide results for Analysis of Variance with a block and multiple comparison of means are developed using Excel functions.

This study explored a mathematical modeling flow and the effect of interactions among students and between a student and Excel on modeling in a small group modeling environment with Excel. This is a case study of three 8th graders' modeling activity using Excel during their extra lessons. The conclusions drawn from this study are as follows: First, small group modeling using Excel was formed by formulating 4∼10 modeling cycles in each task. Students mainly formed tables and graphs and refined and simplified these models. Second, students mainly formed tables, algebraic formulas and graphs and refined tables considering each variable in detail by obtaining new data with inserting rows. In tables, students mainly explored many expected cases by changing the values of the parameters. In Graphs, students mainly identified a solution or confirmed the solution founded in a table. Meanwhile, students sometimes constructed graphs without a purpose and explored the problem situations by graphs mainly as related with searching a solution, identifying solutions that are found in the tables. Thus, the teacher's intervention is needed to help students use diverse representations properly in problem situations and explore floatingly and interactively using multi-representations that are connected numerically, symbolically and graphically. Sometimes students also perform unnecessary activities in producing data by dragging, searching a solution by 'trial and error' and exploring 'what if' modeling. It is considered that these unnecessary activities were caused by over-reliance on the Excel environment. Thus, the teacher's intervention is needed to complement the Excel environment and the paper-and-pencil environment properly.

새로운 유형의 창업 지원 프로그램으로 창업자를 선발하여 단기간에 집중적으로 지원하는 엑셀러레이터 프로그램(또는 기관)이 주목 받고 있다. 실리콘 밸리의 투자자와 기업가 간의 네트워크, 외부 인프라 요소들이 결합하여 생겨난 프로그램인 엑셀러레이터는, 누구에게나 개방적이고 경쟁적인 지원 절차를 통해 창업자(팀)를 선발하고 단기간 동안의 체계적인 프로그램과 멘토링을 제공한다. 본고에서는 엑셀러레이터의 국내 외 현황 및 운영사례를 분석한 후 결론으로서 정책적 시사점을 제시한다.

수학에서는 컴퓨터를 활용해야 하고, 사회생활에서는 수학을 활용해야 한다. 이런 의미에서 엑셀을 수업 시간에 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 수학II의 일차변환을 엑셀을 어떻게 활용할 수 있는 가를 제시한다. 일차변환의 응용으로서, 이동을 포함시킨 아핀변환을 이용하여 프랙탈을 생성하는 방법을 찾아본다. 프랙탈을 생성하기 위해서는 IFS(Iterated Function System)에 의해 수 만번의 합성변환을 필요하므로 소프트웨어가 필수적이다. 여기서는 Fanstic Fractals 프로그램을 이용하여 직관적으로 얻은 그림에서 변환 행렬의 값을 구하여, 엑셀에서 두 가지 방법으로 분석하였다.

Many researchers have reported that 7th graders have severe difficulties in using letters and algebraic expressions. This study investigated the way Microsoft Excel contributes to student's understanding of letters and algebraic expressions. For six hours through two weeks, four 7th grade students experienced various activities with Excel after school and both before and after the experimentation, the interviews to check their understanding was conducted. The results were as follows; First, after the experimentation, students used various letters to express formulas and recognized that letters represent not only some objects but also changing objects. Also they accepted that same objects could be represented by different letters and different objects could be represented by the same letters. Second, Excel improved students' abilities to discriminate variables and invariables in the problem and to find mathematical relationships among variables. And with Excel students could divide the whole calculation procedure into several steps in order to handle it more easily. Also, Excel made immediate numerical feedback possible and it made students express the calculation in a more formalized way than a paper and pencil environment did.

2019년 3월 기획재정부 장관은 관계부처 합동으로 제2벤처 붐 확산전략을 발표하였다. 신산업 고기술 스타트업 발굴을 통해 기술인재 고기술창업 특히 대학 및 연구소등의 우수 인재가 기술혁신형 창업을 하고, 이에 투자 멘토링 기술 지원하는 사업을 강화하는 한편 지원규모를 확대한다는 계획이다. 2019년 9월 국내 벤처기업 수는 3만6759개이고, 액셀러레이터 투자도 벤처투자로 인정한 '벤처기업육성에 관한 특별조치법' 개정안을 마련하고 있으며, 엑설러레이터 기준을 새로 마련하고 있다. 벤처 투자액은 올해 4조원을 돌파할 거라 예상하고 있는 가운데, 특히 창업의 마중물 역을 하는 액셀러레이터 시장이 크게 성장하고 있다. 대학부터 지자체, 기업, 기존 투자사들까지 뛰어들면서 관련제도가 도입된 지 3년이 채 되지 않아 200곳이 설립됐다. 전 세계적인 스타트업 붐에 더해 진입문턱이 대폭 낮아지자 초기 기업에서 기회를 엿보는 곳들이 늘어난 것으로 보인다. 2017년 54곳에 불과했던 액셀러레이터는 2년이 지나지 않아 4배 가까이 증가했다. 이처럼 시장이 급성장하는 이유는 대기업 중심의 경제 성장세가 둔화되고 우버와 같은 회사들이 새로운 산업을 구축하며 전 세계적으로 스타트업에 대한 관심이 고조되었고, 정부 역시 제2벤처 붐을 일으키겠다며 다방면의 벤처 육성책을 내놓고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 엑셀러레이터에 대한 관심은 학술적이 연구로도 나타나고 있는 바, 엑셀러레이터로부터 투자를 유치한 스타트업의 성과와 관련하여 다양한 원인을 찾고자하는 노력이 시도되고 있다. 스타트업 관계자가 인식하는 엑셀러레이터의 평가지표에 대한 수용성 정도와 그들의 성과 간의 관계에서 엑셀러레이터 조직에 대한 신뢰의 역할을 연구할 필요성이 제기된다고 할 것이다. 제기된 연구 필요성의 해결을 위하여 본 연구에서는 최근 3년 이내 엑셀러레이터로부터 투자 유치를 받은 스타트업 관계자를 대상으로 평가수용성과 엑셀러레이터의 조직신뢰 그리고 성과에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 바탕으로 스타트업 성과를 극대화할 수 있는 엑셀러레이터의 평가지표 구성과 조직측면에서 전략적 방안 모색의 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.

The prior distribution is the probability distribution we have before observing data. Using Bayes' rule, we can compute the posterior distribution, the new probability distribution, after observing data. Computing the posterior distribution is much easier than before by using Excel VBA macro. In addition, we can conveniently compute the successive updating posterior distributions after observing the independent and sequential outcomes. In this paper we compose some Excel VBA macros for applying Bayes' rule and give some examples.

Increasing number of elderly's active participation in society, it is arisen the needs of senior information for training. Most of the senior's experiences in the digital device are low and because they do not get the information in formal education, they are vulnerable to the business office of utilizing the documents. For activities of society, it needs the excel education on enterprise document management training. According to this study, it is designed and implemented the 'Happyseniorcel' which is Excel application system for seniors. As a result of survey, it improves menu-use convenience, screen-color organization satisfaction and screen magnification efficiency compared to current excel. By using 'Happyseniorcel', it is expected to improve excel utilization and to encourage the social activities.

정보통신기술(ICT - Information and Communications Technology)의 발달, 정부와 민간의 스타트업 발굴 및 투자 규모의 확대로 인해 혁신적인 아이디어를 기반으로 우수한 성과를 창출하는 스타트업들이 증가하고 있다. 이를 롤모델로 삼고 창업을 준비하는 예비 창업자들도 지속적으로 증가하고 있으나, 성공을 경험으로 연쇄창업을 도전하는 창업자와 달리 초기 스타트업들은 팀원 채용, 기술 개발, 자금 유치 등 다양한 문제에 직면하게 된다. 엑셀러레이터는 스타트업들이 직면하게 되는 다양한 문제 해결을 돕기 위해 교육, 멘토링, 컨설팅, 네트워크 연계, 초기 투자 등의 활동을 통해 스타트업이 성장할 수 있도록 멘토와 투자자의 역할을 동시에 수행한다. 본 연구의 목적은 스타트업의 특성과 창업성과과 어떠한 상관관계를 가지고 있는가를 조사하고, 엑셀러레이터의 역할이 스타트업의 창업성과에 매개역할을 하는지 분석 하는데 있다. 최근 국내에서는 다시 벤처 붐이 일어나고 있으며, 유니콘 기업의 양적 질적 증가, 정부 지원을 통한 초기 스타트업의 성과 등 창업생태계에서 의미 있는 지표들을 볼 수 있다. 스타트업의 성과와 관련된 지표들은 직/간접적으로 엑셀러레이터와 관련이 있으나, 그동안 국내에서 창업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 스타트업의 창업가의 기업가정신이나 창업가의 역량을 기반으로 주로 연구하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스타트업의 특성으로 대표되는 독립변수 혁신성, 조직 문화, 재무적 특성, 네트워크 지향성과 학습지향성이 종속변수인 창업성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설을 검증하며 매개변수인 엑셀러레이터의 역할의 효과를 확인하고자 한다.
