  • 휴대성을 가장 큰 장점으로 제공하는 모바일 장치는 모바일 장치를 위한 다양한 컨텐츠의 개발로 인해 관심이 주목되고 있다. 이러한 컨텐츠의 형식으로는 StandAlone 방식과 Network 방식이 있으며 근래에는 대부분의 컨텐츠들이 서버와의 통신을 통해 진행되는 후자를 따르고 있다. Network 방식의 컨텐츠는 서버와의 통신이 필수이기 때문에 별도의 서버와 함께 에이전트를 구현해야 한다. 모바일 장치에 탑재된 다양한 가상 기계와 수많은 컨텐츠들은 각각의 에이전트를 필요로 하며, 서버의 에이전트가 증가함에 따라 에이전트를 별도로 관리해야 하는 등의 문제점들이 발생하기 시작하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 통합된 형태의 에이전시를 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 에이전시는 모바일 장치의 가상기계와 컨텐츠의 종류에 상관없이 단 하나의 에이전시를 통해 상호간의 통신이 가능하다. 뿐만 아니라 서로 다른 모바일 장치와의 상호운용도 가능한 장점을 지닌다. 통합 에이전시는 접속 모듈과 함수 호출 모듈로 구성된다. 접속 모듈은 모바일 장치로부터 전송되는 전송정보 가운데 필요한 정보들을 추출하는 역할을 담당하며, 함수 호출 모듈은 접속 모듈에서 추출한 정보들을 이용하여 모바일 장치가 호출한 서버의 함수를 호출하는 역할을 담당한다.

  • This research aims to analyze business strategies of professional sports marketing companies which have properties of sports organizations in Korea, with a view to investigating into the nature of the business of the agencies and the characteristics of business models and to considering what kinds of suggestions such characteristics have for the development of professional sports marketing agencies in Korea. Professional sports marketing agencies do not simply acquire their property rights or act as a proxy in getting the property rights but also multiply opportunities for their business while acting as a proxy and developing extension commodities so as to maximize their profit, which is a core capability of sport businesses. Sports marketing businesses in Korea are characterized by dual structure: advertisement companies specializing in BTL (Below The Line)-centered promotion business, and sports marketing agencies specializing in the business focused on sports contents. This structure serves as an obstruction for Korean sports marketing agencies to build up their capabilities to maximize opportunities and extension.

  • For the domestic web-toon industry, a new industrial environment has been created by the growth various domestic and international factors, such as technology development, the increase of platforms, charged web-toon, and globalization. Although the role of the agency has not been emphasized at the formation and introduction time of the web-toon, the role growth of the agency has been regularized with the expanding of the web-toon industry. The expending web-toon industry is due to the introduction of smart-phone, by which people can consume the web-toon without any limit of time and place, so the web-toon industry has been growing rapidly. Thereafter the production of the second contents using the web-toon IP has been actively carried out and the activity area of the web-toon artist has been diversified, so the necessity of the specialized web-toon agency has begun to be brought in earnest. In this study, the web-toon industry has been, firstly, classified as transition period of cartoon industry, foothold formation period of web-toon, introduction period of web-toon industry, expansion period, and maturity period according to the industrial life cycle theory. As a result, the web-toon agency has been emerged from the expansion period of web-toon industry, and the role of agency, to prevent web-toon industry entering into declining period from its maturity period, has been researched in this study.

An Agency System for Performance Analysis of WMS (WMS의 성능 분석을 위한 에이전시 시스템)

  • 현재 VoD 시스템은 마이크로소프트(Microsoft Corporation)에서 제공하는 WMS(Windows Media Server)를 사용하여 많이 구축하고 있다. 이 때 시스템의 QoS는 WMS의 성능에 크게 의존하기 때문에 WMS 의 성능을 동적으로 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 WMS 의 성능 분석을 위해 제안된 에이전트 시스템 모델(agent system model)에서 WMS와 인터페이스를 하는 에이전시(agency) 부분을 개발한다. 에이전시는 WMS가 클라이언트들에게 스트림 서비스를 제공하는 과정을 모니터링하고, 성능 분파에 필요한 데이터를 수집하여 저장하고, WMS 가 성능 향상을 위해 필요한 조치를 실행하게 한다.

  • 1987년 새 저작권법이 발효됨에 따라 정식으로 선을 보이기 시작한 국내 저작권에이전시들이 활동이 아직까지 유명무실한 것으로 드러났다. 수적으로는 매년 성장세를 보이고 있으면서도, 구체적인 실적에 있어서는 두세개 에이전시를 빼고 나면 아예 개점휴업 상태에 놓여 있어, 앞으로 더욱 늘어날 해외 저작물 이용에 능동적으로 대처하기 어려우리라는 우려를 낳고 있다.

A Biographical 'Caseunderstanding' on the Agency of Men in international Marriage in Rural Areas (국제결혼한 농촌남성의 에이전시에 대한 생애사적 '사례이해')

  • This study aims to find out the determinants of male police officers' investigative behavior(active investigation vs. secondary victimization) of sexual violence. For this purpose, a hypothetical model which explains the relationships among the 5 variables (knowledge of law about the investigative role, perception of the protective & connective role, prejudice against the sexual violence, active investigation, and secondary victimization) was developed. Using the data collected from 354 male police officers of 3 cities in Gyeongnam area, the hypothetical model was tested. For data analysis, a structural equation modeling was used, and the final model was found(CFI=0.947, IFI=0.948, RMSEA=0.048). As a result of analyzing the model, the followings were found: (1) Active investigation was increased by knowledge of law about the investigative role, and perception of the protective & connective role, while decreased by prejudice against the sexual violence. (2) Secondary victimization was decreased by knowledge of law about the investigative role. (3) Prejudice against the sexual violence mediate the effects of knowledge of law about the investigative role, and perception of the protective & connective role on active investigation. (4) Prejudice against the sexual violence was found to have no significant effect on secondary victimization. Based on the findings, multi-educational programs, protocols on investigation of sexual violence, professionalization of the police, and changes in investigation environment as well as a system of collaboration and cooperation between police officer and social worker were suggested as a way to increase active investigation and to decrease secondary victimization.

Timing Agency in Digital Comics : Focused on Multimedia Comics (전자만화의 타이밍 에이전시 : 멀티미디어와 혼합된 만화를 중심으로)

  • Comic book readers have respectively different reading speed and this means that time in comics is translated by readers' view. The authors arrange panels and gutters to control time, but time recognition in comics depends on the readers and generally it is the readers' role. On the contrary, the phenomenon having occurred by infinite canvas varied the authority of timing. Infinite canvas can give the comic book authors more authority of controlling timing than the readers by intervening in readers' relative time as an agents and transforming their fictive time into absolute time. Following to the concept of "Agency" in games, agency is the power which satisfies the players by reemergence of their intentions. Since some of digital comics absorbed the properties of other media such as animation and sound, we can see that the reader's timing agency is shifted to the author's timing agency. The purpose of this study is to analyse this phenomenon and to remind that agency motivated by the balance between material constraints and formal constraints becomes a condition of readability of digital comics but excessive timing constraints given to the readers causes a decrease of the readers' timing agency. This also can be a considerable matter when we produce digital comics.
