A Development of Energy Saving System for Automatic Lighting Control using PIR (PIR을 이용한 에너지절감형 자동조명제어 시스템 개발)

  • This paper proposes a novel design of auto light control system with high efficiency using RS-485 to save lighting energy in new and existing buildings. The proposed system consists of ALSU(Auto Light Sensor Unit) which is connected with RS-485 to control lighting appliances, ALS(Auto Light Unit), and Hi-FACS which is a monitoring system using communication interface. lighting appliances are automatically controlled by ALSU which detects moving objects. The total system is designed to be controlled by either manual or auto mode by using the ALS. In addition, the monitoring system receives the information on the state of the lighting appliances from ALSU and ALS to control the proposed system We compared the proposed system with the conventional one in functionality and energy saving point of view. Through some experimental results, the proposed system shows better performance in various circumstances.

  • 기후변화에 적극 대처하여 지속적이고 안정적인 용수 공급을 위해 기존의 용수 생산 공급망에 정보통신 기술(Information & Communication Technologies, ICT)을 접목한 지능형 물관리를 위해 '스마트 워터 그리드(smart water grid)'를 구축하고자 하는 다양한 노력이 최근 들어 지속되고 있다. 즉, 스마트 워터 그리드는 기존의 수자원 관리 시스템의 한계를 극복하기 위해 첨단 정보통신기술을 이용하는 고효율의 차세대 인프라 시스템으로 다양한 수원을 활용하고 물을 효율적으로 배분 관리 운송하여 수자원의 불균형을 해소하고, 첨단 센서 네트워크를 이용해 실시간으로 수자원망의 안정성을 모니터링하는 등 용수관리 전분야에 걸쳐 양방향 실시간으로 용수정보를 감시 대응하여 용수관리와 에너지 효율의 최적화된 메가시티(mega-city)에 적합한 지능형 물관리가 가능할 것으로 예상되는 시스템이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 선진화된 상수도시스템 운영을 위해서는 현장설비의 관측값을 감시하고 제어하는 시스템에서, 운영 방식이 변경될 때마다 운영 변수간의 인과관계를 분석하고 예측할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 기능이 탑재된 상수도 운영시스템이 요구되고 있는 실정에서 용수공급 시스템의 운영 상황을 모의할 수 있는 모형 개발 및 용수공급시스템의 운영룰 모의 및 운영의사결정에 적용할 수 있는 다중수원 워터루프 시스템과 운영관리할 수 있는 S/W를 개발 내용을 소개하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 공장에너지관리를 위한 IoT 기반 플랫폼 개발에 대한 연구를 다루고 있다. 특히, 스마트팩토리에 대한 고사양성 서비스를 제공하는 것이 아닌, 소규모 공장에서도 적용할 수 있는 시스템을 통해 스마트팩토리로 전향하기 위한 기반을 제공하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 IoT 표준을 기반으로 하고 있으며, 클라우드 서비스와 분석시스템 등을 제공한다.

Development of Power Management System for Efficient Energy Usage of Small Generator (소형 발전기의 에너지 절약을 위한 전력관리 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, an electricity management system, which saves energy by utilizing electricity consumption of load from an environment that uses at least two compact generators, is proposed and developed. A hardware is constructed by using TMS320C6713 DSP chip made by TI that is capable of high speed hardware floating point processing while serial communication is used for communication with a monitoring PC. Manual control is made possible from the monitoring PC and automatic on/off is enabled in the generator by using data collected by CT/PT sensor from the DSP mainboard. Test results confirm that the electricity management system proposed in this study functions without abnormality. The application of an algorithm that saves energy by using electricity consumption of load also allows for a longer supply of electricity compared to continuously using two compact generators.

  • Recently, the actual demand for electricity usage to out of demand forecasting demand appears to be based on the power of Government to address the insecurity is there are a lot of efforts on a more efficient energy management. In 2011, the first major outage, blackout since the current rate of no more than 10% of our power plants, such as power supply and demand crisis is being repeated. In addition, energy management systems, the demand for care and social areas are being expanded. In this paper, Building power supply and wired/wireless router and to optimize the DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Service) for remote control and monitoring device for electric consumption Presonal Energy Management System offers a way to implement it. In the future, remote control and access the user's can minimize the settings for additional research is needed.

  • A renewable energy resource data has the characteristic that its measurement value changes every moment. So the amount of primitive data which is produced by the change of time arevast. Therefore researches are needed for the construction of history database which can save and manage vast amount of history information of renewable energy resource data systematically, the estimation system of renewable energy resources. In this paper, to solve these problems, the estimation method of renewable energy resources is suggested. The method makes it possible to estimate momently changing data of the past systematically.

Power Management Circuits for Self-Powered Systems Based on Solar Energy Harvesting (빛 에너지 하베스팅을 이용한 자가발전 시스템용 전력관리 회로)

  • In this paper two types of power management circuits for solar energy harvesting self-powered systems are proposed. First, if the output voltage of a solar cell is enough to drive load, a power management unit(PMU) directly supplies load with solar energy. Second, if a solar cell outputs very low voltage less than 0.5V as in miniature solar cells or monolithic integrated solar cells such that it cannot directly power the load, a voltage booster is employed to step up the solar cell's output voltage, and then PMU delivers the boosted voltage to the load. The proposed power management systems are designed and fabricated in a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process, and their performances are compared and analyzed through measurements.

  • Recently, with an increased social interest in new and renewable energy resources, together with rapid advancement in IT(information technology) and spatial information technology, there have recently been a lot of attempts to find out methods to make systematic and scientific use of information technology and spatial information technology, depending upon a fusion with GIS(Geographic Information System) spatial information technology in the field of new and renewable energy. This paper developed a suitability analysis system to conduct a correct and precise analysis of an ideal place for wind energy facilities in comprehensive consideration of topographic, economic, and cultural environments. It also used recent spatial information technology including 3D GIS to develop a supportive system for an analysis and decision making of an ideal place for 3D Web GIS-based wind energy facilities like a precise field information implementation, a 3D result display, a 3D object implementation, simulation, and so on. These systems make it possible to build scientific new-renewable energy facilities, to collect, manage and analyze information in an accurate and quantitative manner. In addition, they help serve as a turning point for the construction of a real-time information supply system. Furthermore, they can support rational decision making by making it possible to analyze a variety of forms of field information through building a system for the management of 3D image-based information on new-renewable energy resources.

공동주택에서의 효과적인 난방열량제어 관리방안

  • 공동주택에서 난방용 에너지를 절감하기 위한 난방제어기와 난방계량기의 효과적 활용방법을 중심으로 난방열량 제어 관리방안에 대하여 기술한다. 우리나라 공동주택 난방방식에 주로 이용되고 있는 바닥패널 이용 복사난방시스템은 공간의 단열특성, 난방패널의 열적 및 수력학적 특성, 열원공급 및 제어방법에 따라 주거용 건물의 에너지소비에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으나 적절한 설계 및 운영방법이 제대로 마련되어 있지 않아 국가적인 차원에서 많은 양의 난방용 에너지가 낭비되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 공동주택에 설치되는 바닥패널 난방시스템과 관련된 문제점들로는 실내온도 및 난방열량의 제어방법과 난방용 열량의 계량방법 등을 들 수 있다. 그림 1은 공동주택에 설치된 난방제어기와 난방계량기의 모습을 보여주고 있다.

  • Recently there are many efforts for saving energy in building. therefore Building energy management systems(BEMS) are expected to a reduction energy cost. BEMS has many benefits which could switch plant on and off automatically. Also It optimize plan operation and services, monitor plant status and environmental conditions and to provide energy analysis and management information. In these days, many public buildings are applied BEMS but there are few studies about application of small or medium buildings. Therefore, in this study, we will find how to apply BEMS in small or medium buildings.
