An Integrated Construction Management Framework based on Ubiquitous Computing Technology (유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술 기반 통합 건설관리 체계)

  • In this study, we propose an ubiquitous computing technology (UCT) based construction management (CM) framework which is composed of processes, information systems, and organizations. For this, we first define 14 promising UCT based CM tasks from 140 candidate tasks using a matrix analysis technique. After defining the 14 tasks, we survey the construction management experts with questionnaire of the importance, improvement possibility, ease of implementation of the tasks. Based on the survey results, we select three high priority tasks: material management, operation management, inspection and measurement management. We conceptually design the framework, that is, processes, information systems, and organizations for the 3 tasks to be more innovative by applying the UCT to the CM tasks. Finally, we apply the proposed framework to some construction fields and estimate the effectiveness of the framework. Estimation results show that the CM tasks can be performed more quickly with less man powers using the UCT-based CM framework.

  • It is critical to effectively change the measures of prevention from the breakdown maintenance proceeding an apartment housing maintenance task scope. It is necessary that systematization be performed for a series of tasks, such as facility inspection, diagnosis and replacement. In addition, it is preceded by establishing a standardization for maintenance work scope. Therefore, this study examined the problems related to public rental housing maintenance work scope to manage it more systematically. In addition, the study suggests a work process section for facility repairs, long term replacement and general maintenance using one on one interviews with experts to classify the occupants, management office and head office. This study's standard work system is expected to provide fairness and transparency in addition to improving the productivity in public rental housing maintenance via an efficiency promotion plan. In addition, it is used as the basic reference for developing a system of public rental housing maintenance costs and diagnosis actions. Finally, it is necessary to create improvements that provide a more objective work system standardization throughout the analysis of the productivity data according to the work flow and the review of the occupants, management office and head office in the future applications of the pilot site.

  • Tn improve the quality in apartment houses, it has regarded one of the most important steps as systematic maintenance. Also, repair and long-term maintenance have played an important role in maintenance of the rental apartment. Moreover, the historical data which come from these works have functioned as preventive maintenance in inspection and references in repair and long-term maintenance. To sum up, it would be necessary to get rid of the factors of dispute from sharing a variety of data among occupants, superintendents, and proprietors. Futhermore, it would be possible to show the management methods of repair and long-term maintenance historical data.

  • The objective of this study is to implement a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) so as to support efficient information management through the construction process of Steel Box Girder Bridge. To meet this requirement. This study performs the analysis of the business process. Through the work, information flows and information management levels are identified. Information management in each manufacturing process was various in its level. For the efficient information management, skating and utilization in schedule, cost, resource, and quality management, it is recommended to utilize a WBS composed of major work section and element structure of the steel box girder.

  • Most of construction companies recognize importance of immaterial assets in an age of unlimited competition. And construction companies that are concerned about Knowledge Management have used the system of it for critical ability of company. But they used the system for the storage of construction knowledge. So, the present KM system was gradually under operating. To introduce KMS based on Business Process Management(BPM), the purpose of this study is to consider BPM and KMS through the existing researches. we deduce the concept for introducing KMS based on BPM and present the expected effectiveness of it. Finally, we present the prototype of system for KMS based on BPM.

  • The National Library of Korea is administering a legal deposit system for the printedpublications. Whereas, OASIS(Online Archiving & Searching Internet Sources) has to design a system to collect, manage and preserve web sites and web resources for Web Archiving. The purpose of this study is to develop a digital deposit process for digital resources. As a result, this study defines the subjects and objects for digital deposits, and describes the definitions and the functions according to digital deposit steps. Also, this study designs the data flow diagram and proposes the function definitions on unit works and the structure for the flow of information.

  • 인터넷 우편 시스템은 크게 3 부분의 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 송신자가 웹브라우저를 통하여 우편을 보내는 전처리국과 메일을 받아서 인쇄하고 자동 봉합하는 우체국으로서의 후처리국, 그리고 시스템의 전체적인 우편흐름을 관리하고 결제업무를 담당하는 관리국으로 나누어진다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 우편 시스템에서 관리자의 원활한 관리업무와 간단한 사용자 인터페이스 설계와 구현을 중심으로 본 논문을 작성하였다.

  • 본 논문은 스프레드시트 수준에서 처리하고 있는 (주)광성브레이크의 업무를 통합하여 신속, 원활하게 수행할 수 있는 ERP시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 먼저, 각종 업무에서 사용되는 스프레드시트들를 분석하여 회사업무의 전체 흐름을 파악하고, 또한 기초, 자재, 생산, 영업의 4개 업무를 통합하여 운용할 수 있도록 통합 데이터베이스를 설계/구축하고, 구축된 데이터베이스와 연동을 갖는 업무 관리프로그램을 설계/구현한다. 개발된 시스템은 각 업무간에 완벽한 통합성을 제공하고, 또한 논문에서 설계한 ERP시스템이 J2EE 플렛폼상에서 개발하였기 때문에, 특정 기종에 제한하지 않고 사용할 수 있다.

  • 경영혁신을 하고자 하는 기업들은 모든 정보기술들을 전사적 입장에서 통합 관리하는 시스템의 도입을 필요로 하는데, ERP 시스템은 정보 기술 전략과 BPR을 통합할 수 있는 방법으로, 이것은 ERP 시스템이 업무 프로세스의 표준화라는 사상을 바탕으로 전사적인 관점에서 비즈니스의 모든 영역을 최적화할 수 있는 효율적인 해결책임을 의미한다. 기업 경영 활동에는 많은 정보의 흐름(Flow)과 활동(Activity)들이 있다. 이러한 정보의 흐름과 활동을 관리해야 하는데, 현재 나와 있는 많은 Business Application들 중 WFM(Work Flow Management)를 Embedding 하고 있거나 ABM(Activity Based Management)의 개념을 지원해주고 있는 Business Application은 없다. 기업이 기업의 모든 자원을 전사적으로 통합, 관리해 주는 정보시스템을 구축하기 위해 기업에 알맞은 ERP 시스템을 도입하여 ABM의 개념을 포함한 WFM를 해 줄 수 있는 정보시스템을 어떻게 구축해야 하는가 그 방법을 제시한다. 즉 기업의 경영성과를 측정할수 있는 정보 시스템의 구축 방법론이다. 본 연구에서는 ERP 시스템과 WFM의 연계를 통해 WFM를 자동화할 것과 그 WFM에 ABM 개념을 도입하여 관리할 것을 제안하고 그러한 기업 정보시스템을 구축하기 위한 방법론과 모델 제시하고자 한다.

  • This study presents a design of integrated management system for manufacturing company for the purpose of reducing operation cost and speeding up flow of processes. Since common commercial management package should be well customized to reflect inherent processes of each company with great deal of effort, this study chooses a manufacturing company that produces component parts of automobile as a target company and designs management system specified for that target company. System design focuses on the minimization of the indirect cost of manufacturing reflected on the manufacturing cost price for each functional modules consisting of entire system through adding a mechanism to reduce unnecessary occurrence of process transactions. In addition, this paper considers connectivity among the functional modules so that manufacturing situations can be influenced on the system to be implemented and includes the system design with monitoring modules and data flow between functional modules.
