  • Excessive work intensity and stress from customers visiting nail salons due to the increase in the frequency of visits and treatments to nail salons of modern people are negatively affecting the job psychology of nail salons. Accordingly, according to the need to prepare realistic and specific measures to increase job efficacy and job satisfaction through nail treatment techniques of nail salons, the perceived job efficacy and job This study was conducted based on the research model and hypothesis for satisfaction. As a result of the study, it was found that the nail gradation technique induces the highest job efficacy of nail polishers, and it was found that the more gel manicure techniques were applied, the higher the job satisfaction of nail polishers was. Through this study, it is expected that the complex application between various nail techniques will be possible and the coordinates of the job psychology of nail beauticians will be presented, and at the same time, it will serve as basic data for improving the work environment and developing new nail treatment techniques.

The Effects of Learning Transfer on Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use in Enterprise e-Learning - Focused on Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy and Work Environment - (지각된 유용성과 사용용이성이 기업 이러닝 교육의 학습전이에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -자기효능감과 업무환경의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • This research performed the empirical test for the effects of learning transfer on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, self-efficacy and work environment using 390 employees who have experienced e-learning in domestic and foreign companies. Analyzed the mediating effects of self-efficacy and work environment in addition to direct effect of each factor on learning transfer. The results showed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use of e-learning learner had a positive(+) effect on self-efficacy and a positive influence on supervisor and peer support and organizational climate. Self-efficacy showed a positive effect on learning transfer, and supervisor support, peer support and organizational climate had a positive influence on learning transfer as well. Perceived usefulness also had a positive effect on learning transfer. However, perceived ease-of-use had no significant effect on learning transfer. As a result of the mediating effect analysis, self-efficacy and work environment were analyzed to have mediating effects between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and learning transfer. The implications of this study are as follows. First, this study designed a new research model that reflects factors influencing the effect of learning transfer on acceptance of e-learning that is common in corporate education. It has derived a research model of perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use, which were used as mediating variables for external characteristics factors, as independent variables, using self-efficacy and work environment as mediating variables, which were studied as external factors. Second, most of the studies on technology acceptance model and learning transfer are conducted in a single country. The reliability was enhanced by testing the study models using different samples from 26 countries. Third, perceived usefulness and ease-of-use in existing studies have been considered as key determinants of acceptance intention and learning transfer. This study explored the mediating effects of learner and environmental factors on the accepted information technology and strengthened and supplemented the path of learning transfer of perceived usefulness and ease-of-use. In addition, based on the sample analysis of various countries used in this study, it is expected that future international comparative studies will be possible.

Effect of Attribution of Career Success on the Occupational Adaptation of College Graduates : Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy (대졸 신입사원의 직업적 성공 귀인이 직업적응에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This paper analyzed the effect of attribution of career success on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Korean Education Employment Panel (KEEP) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, there was a significant difference in self-efficacy and occupational adaptation according to attribution. Workplace satisfaction was the highest when attributing of effort for career success, and effort attribution also was the most influential in job satisfaction and self-efficacy. On the other hand, workplace satisfaction, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy level were the lowest in fortune attribution, indicating that fortune attribution has a negative effect on the on the occupational adaptation. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between attribution of career success and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a mediating effect of self-efficacy. The results of this study shows that the more new employees perceive their career success to depend on their own efforts, the more they believe they can successfully accomplish their duties, and can adapt with more effort and patience in the face of stress. These results imply that it is possible to increase occupational adaptation by providing intrinsic and extrinsic rewards for new employees to have an effort attribution to career success.

The Association between Health Teachers' Stress, Burnout, and Self-Efficacy: A Path Analysis Approach (보건교사의 직무 스트레스와 소진 및 자기 효능감에 대한 구조모형: 경로분석)

  • Using a structural model, this study aims to verify the association between job stress, burnout, and self-efficacy levels of health teachers responsible for school health. Structured questionnaires were administered to 814 health teachers, and validated through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study results show that job stress of the health teacher was 2.9±0.64 and burnout was 2.6±0.52, which was slightly lower than the median of the Likert 5-point scale, while self-efficacy was 4.1±0.51. Various sub-factors contributed to the scores: 'student and family' and 'peer teacher's perception' were high for job stress, while 'work in charge' was high for burnout. Job stress of health teachers resulted in increased burnout and decreased self-efficacy. Furthermore, increased burnout significantly decreased self-efficacy. Hence, job stress affected burnout, and burnout affected self-efficacy. Our data clearly demonstrates that job stress is very important to reduce burnout of health teachers and increase their self-efficacy. Therefore, various efforts are required to lower job stress. This study will help to establish new policies and practical improvement plans to reduce job stress and exhaustion of health teachers, and consequently increase their self-efficacy.

The Effects of Psychological Capital on Innovation Behavior and Organizational Commitment, and the Moderating Effect of Organizational Support (심리적 자본이 혁신행동과 조직몰입에 미치는 효과 및 조직지원의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment/ innovative behavior, and the moderating effect of organizational support. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data were gathered and analysed from 315 professors and teachers of Korea Politechnics Colleges. Multiple regression and multiple hierarchical regression analysis were applied to test the proposed hypotheses: 1) the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment, 2) the relationship between psychological capital and innovative behavior, 3) the moderating effect of organizational support on the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment, 4) the moderating effect of organizational support on the relationship between psychological capital and innovative behavior. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, self-efficacy and optimism appeared to be positively related with organizational commitment, and all psychological capital factors(self-efficacy, resilience and optimism) appeared to be positively related with innovative behavior. Second, organizational support appeared to have moderating effect partly on the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment, but it did not have a moderating effect on the relationship between psychological capital and innovative behavior. Self-efficacy and optimism appeared to be more positively related with organizational commitment in higher organizational support situation than in lower organizational support situation.

Personality Types of Nurses and the Relation between Self-Efficacy and Clinical Performance Ability (간호사의 성격유형, 자기효능감과 임상수행능력 간의 관계)

  • This study was to determine the relationship between nurse DISC personality types, self-efficacy, clinical performance. Data were collected from 302 nurses in 5 hospitals in K city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient. With regard to self-efficacy and clinical performance, D type showed a higher score than type I type and S type. The lower region of the clinical performance showed the nursing process, nursing skills, higher score than the D Type S Type in professional development. With regard to personality and self-efficacy, and clinical performance, the type D (r=.56, p<.01), I type (r=.66, p<.01), S type (r=.6, p<.01) showed a positive correlation with type C (r=.52, p<.01). As shown by these results, each personality type has a different correlation with self-efficacy and clinical performance ability. This factor should be considered in the assignment of nurses to departments or individual training programs so that they can deliver the most effective job performance.

Influence of Shared Leadership Perceived by Cooks on Self-efficacy, Collective Efficacy, and Job Performance: Focusing on Hotel Culinary Department (공유 리더십에 대한 조리사 인식이 자기효능감, 집단효능감과 직무성과에 미치는 영향 : 호텔조리부서 대상)

  • This study assumed that chef's shared leadership perceived by chefs in hotel culinary department affects self-efficacy, group efficacy, and job performance. Based on this, the causal relationship between each variable was analyzed through leadership sharing. And based on the results, we tried to suggest a manpower management plan suitable for the hotel culinary department and provide basic data. The subjects of this study were chefs working in 8 luxury hotels in Seoul and Busan. A total of 302 questionnaires were analyzed. For analysis, SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical packages were used. As a result of empirical analysis, it was found that it had a positive effect on self-efficacy and job performance improvement of hotel cooks. On the other hand, it was found that the chef's shared leadership did not affect job performance through collective efficacy and collective efficacy. In conclusion, it was suggested that a differentiated and efficient manpower management plan is needed to enhance job performance by enhancing shared leadership and self-efficacy for cooks, where collaboration and division of labor are important, and individual ability is important due to the nature of their work.

  • 본 연구에서는 종사자의 핵심자기평가가 창의적 행동 및 서비스생산성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석해 보았으며 실제 대표적 서비스기업인 항공운송업 종사자들을 대상으로 한 실증분석으로 시행하였다. 연구 결과를 요약해 보자면 신경증을 제외한 핵심자기평가는 창의적 행동에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 창의적 행동은 또한 서비스생산성에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다. 한편 인구통계학적 특성에 기한 차이는 자아효능감의 경우 나이가 적을수록 평균값이 높게 나타나고 있으며 나이가 많아질수록 적어지는 것을 볼 수 있다. 이러한 현상은 통상적인 것이라 볼 수 있겠으나 요는 이러한 현상을 극복할 수 있는 방안에 대해 강구할 필요가 있으며 주로 임금인상이나 복지증진 등의 유인책을 활용해 보는 것이 바람직하다 할 것이다. 한편 신경증과의 관계에서 봤을 때 26-30세 정도에 급격히 증가하는 점을 볼 때 이 시기에 업무 관련 시행착오 혹은 업무에 대한 과오 등에 대한 중압감이 작용하는 것으로 볼 수 있으며 이러한 중압감에 기하여 업무에 소극적이 되지 않도록 할 필요성이 제기된다고 하겠다.

Skin Beauty Manual Technique Effects on Skin Manager's Job Psychology (피부미용 매뉴얼 테크닉이 피부관리사의 직무심리(職務心理)에 미치는 영향)

  • In the explosive development of the beauty industry, skin care workers are negatively affected by their health and work attitudes due to excessive work intensity or excessive working hours, so there is an urgent need to study the working environment and job psychology. To this end, hypotheses were established and the main effects on skin care workers' job efficacy and job satisfaction in connection with manual technique were analyzed. As a result of the study, in the effect of the skin care manual technique on the skin care professional's sense of job efficacy, the scrutiny method had a significant effect, and in the effect on job satisfaction, the flexible method, the gait method, and the vibration method had a significant effect. In the skin care room, research and development of in-depth manual technique according to the purpose and scope of application of the customer is necessary for the skin care professional's job efficacy and job satisfaction as well as customer satisfaction. It is expected that it will be used as a basic data.

The effect of gender role identity on the satisfaction and self effectiveness with job performance of dental hygienist (성역할정체감에 따른 치과위생사의 업무수행 만족도와 자기 효능감)

  • Objectives: This study aims to investigate the effect of job performance satisfaction and self-efficacy according to gender role identity in the dental hygienist. Methods: Data collection was performed from June 21 to July 31, 2015. The survey was composed of questions on the subject's general demographical profile, gender role identity, job satisfaction, job performace satisfaction, and self-efficacy as a dental hygienist. The job performance satisfaction and self-efficacy were done by Kruskal-Wallis test and Bonferroni post hoc test. Results: 1. The highest job performance satisfaction was shown as unclassified (36.6%), bisexuality (27.8%0, feminity (19.8%), and masculinity (15.9%). 2. There was a significant difference between the satisfaction as a dental hygienist and self-efficacy among the group (p<0.001). 3. Both female and male dental hygienists had the highest satisfaction and self-efficacy with the job performance. Conclusions: The satisfaction and self-efficacy with the job performance were influenced by gender role identity. Therefore, in order to enhance the satisfaction and self-efficacy as a dental hygienist, the education for the dental hygienist must include the gender role identity in the future.
