The primary purpose of this thesis is to define and discuss the integration of fixed-base operators(FBO) and general aviation terminals(GAT) in Korean aviation practices in order to develop effective management and operational processes needed for Korea's expanding role in the northeast Asian region. The foundation of this research rests on four interconnected strategic points: the Korean government establishing regulations that define general and business aviation, increasing awareness of FBO and GAT, developing standards for effective operations, and optimizing the budget to build necessary infrastructure. There must be an initiative in establishing a guideline of future demand in order for these aforementioned points to take hold and for aviation activities to flourish. Korea will play a more integral role in an emerging market of general and business aviation by adhering to these strategic efforts.

전 세계 항공 산업의 비약적인 발전과 더불어 최근에는 군사용 및 항공수송을 위해 주간뿐만 아니라 야간에도 많은 비행이 요구되고 있으며, 이에 따라 항공기 안전운행의 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 이러한 항공기의 안전운행에는 다양한 기술적인 발전이 진행되어 왔고, 야간시각시스템(NVIS)의 발전 역시 항공기 조종사에게 주간과 유사한 시각적 영상정보를 제공함으로써 심리적인 불안감을 해소시키고, 운항정보에 대한 신뢰성과 적시성을 증대시키며, 야간에 항공기를 안전하게 운항하기 위해 조종사의 업무부아(work load)를 줄이기 위한 노력으로 큰 관심사가 되어왔다. 또한 이러한 NVIS를 활용한 기술은 현재 군용항공기 뿐만이 아니라. 민간용 항공기, 자동차, 카메라, 레저용 등으로 그 범위가 확대되어 보급되고 있으며, 활용도 또한 커지고 있고, 수년 전부터 국내에도 이러한 기술이 적용되어 왔기에 이러한 항공기용 야간시각시스템(NVIS)에 대한 전반적인 내용을 소개하고, 향후 국내에서 개발/적용되는 항공기의 NVIS 기술에 대한 기본적인 평가방향을 제시하고자 한다.

비행안전과 효율적인 정비를 수행하기 위해서는 우수한 항공정비사의 양성이 절대적으로 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 개인의 행동유형이 항공정비사로서의 업무 숙련도에 미치는 영향이 있는지를 검증하기 위하여 항공정비학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 DISC 진단지를 통해 행동유형을 조사하였다. 개인 별 행동유형과 항공기체, 항공기관 및 항공전기 전자 실습성적을 분석하여, 행동유형과 실기 실습 숙련도의 상관관계를 분석하여 항공정비사의 행동 유형이 직무 숙련도에 미치는 영향과 행동 유형별 적합한 항공정비직무를 예측하기 위한 실증연구를 수행하였다.

미국 국방부에서 군사용으로 사용되던 수 GHz 대역의 초 광대역 주파수 스펙트럼을 미국연방통신위원회(FCC)에서 민간에 개방하면서 여러 활용 기술이 개발 되고 있다. 소비전력이 적고, 고속통신 및 방해 전파에 강하다는 특성을 갖고 있으며 또한 작은 위치 검출 오차로 정밀도가 높으나 거리가 길어지면 급속도록 떨어지는 속도로 인하여 근거리 통신으로 활용 검토 되고 있다. 따라서 공항 및 항공기내 지역에서 초 광대역 주파수 특성을 활용하여 적용 가능한 항공기 익단충돌방지시스템, 항공기와 고속 데이터 전송, 항공기 내의 무선 백본 시스템 활용 및 공항 지역의 이동체 위치 정보 관리 등 다양한 항공 서비스 업무에 적용 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

국내에 디지털카메라가 보급된 지 5년에 접어들고 있다. 올해 시장은 기대만큼 성장하지 못했지만, 10개가 넘는 수입 제품들이 밀려들면서 그야말로 혼전이다. 6월 이후 수입 제품들이 앞다투어 화소수 200만대의 경쟁을 벌이고 있는 가운데 삼성전자(주)와 삼성항공(주)이 제품 개발, 생산, 수입을 하면서 국내의 자존심을 지키고 있지만 아직 100만화소급에 머물고 있는 실정이다.

4차 산업혁명 시대가 도래하면서 세상이 빠른 속도로 변하고 있다. 특히 데이터·인공지능(AI, Artificial Intelligence)의 활용이 적극적으로 다양한 분야에서 적용되기 시작하고 있다. 하지만 산림수종을 분석하는 업무를 수행하는 과정은 수작업으로 진행하다 보니 오류가 다수 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수도권 항공사진을 이용하여 소나무, 낙엽송, 침엽수, 활엽수를 대상으로 자동으로 분석하는 AI 학습용 데이터 약 60,000장을 구축하고, 수종을 구분할 수 있는 AI 모델을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 산림변화탐지 및 산림 분야 주제도 제작 시 수종 분할 이미지를 기초자료로 활용함으로써 업무효율 증대를 기대할 수 있다.

There are typically two categories of Flight Test Programs- commercial and military. Commercial flight testing is conducted to certify that aircraft meets all applicable safety and performance requirements of government certifying agency. Military programs differs from commercial in that the government contract with the aircraft manufacturer to design and build an aircraft to meet specific mission capabilities. The final phase of military aircraft flight test is the Operational Test(OT). OT is conducted by a government-only test team with the dictate to certify that the aircraft is suitable and effective to carry out the intended mission. This paper presents the current trends of military aircraft airworthiness certification using civil aircraft certification practices.

The purpose of this study is to establish the training standards for HF of aviation maintenance reflecting the growing relevance of aviation maintenance technicians' ability to perform their work for the safety and efficiency of airline operation. For this purpose, previous studies on the concept of human factors were examined, and the HF training standards of the advanced international aviation bureaus such as the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO), Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency(EASA) were compared with the operational technical standards of Korea Aviation Safety Law. In addition, the actual status of human factors education and training were examined for Korea's two full service carriers (FSC) and four of the low cost carriers (LCC). The study results revealed that Korea's human factors education and training standards were weak compared with international standards, and that most airlines were not able to systematically implement human factors education and training. These results complement the existing problem of training standards for aviation maintenance human factors in Korea and support the development of a standard model of the training course for aviation maintenance human factors which meets international standards.

This study, the cause of an aviation security employees' job satisfaction and dissatisfaction will be understood and the data can be used as evidence to explain the position of the employees. Moreover, the results of this study shall be conducted to increase the level of service delivery and also to remove unsatisfactory factors. Thus, according to this research survey shows the understanding of the job satisfaction and service delivery influences on the overall job satisfaction of a secure enterprise's security screeners. As a results, by improving the job satisfaction of aviation security screeners, the world's most safe, convenient service and quick airport service delivery could be achieved. Therefore, in order to improve the level of Korea and the international competitiveness of airlines, the promotion of job satisfaction of employees would be very important. Moreover based on the results of this study, the advanced research on the recognition differences for service evaluation between the customers and security screeners are needed.

The pilot's role is absolutely critical to the safety of an airline. It can be predicted that there is a difference in the acquisition of pilot competency required in actual flight at the initial flight training stage. In this study, the progress and effects of education and training for each background are analyzed, and differentiated competency-based training is to be studied. By sampling a sample of civil airline pilots, we are trying to determine whether there is a difference in the results of the regular proficiency check among the eight competencies defined by ICAO according to military and civil backgrounds. Accordingly, an independent t-test was conducted to test the average difference between the two groups, from the military and civilian origin, to confirm the average difference in the piloting competency between the groups. Based on these results, it will be helpful to design future training courses.
