A Study on the Methods in Improving the utilization of Information Resources in School - focussing on Human and Network Resources - (초.중등학교 교육정보자원의 내실화 운영 방안 연구 - 인적 및 네트워크 자원중심으로 -)

  • 교육정보화 사업은 제 1, 2단계 교육정보화 종합발전 방안의 큰 틀 안에서 성공적으로 추진되어 왔다. 제 1단계 교육정보화 종합 계획에서 물적 기반 구축을 중심으로 이루어지던 교육정보화 정책이 2001년부터 시행된 제 2단계 교육정보화 종합 발전 방안에서는 활용 중심의 교육정보화 방향으로 전환하여 수행되어 왔다. 제 2단계 교육정보화 종합 발전방안이 종료되는 2005년 현 시점에서 돌이켜 보면, 교육정보화 인프라 구축 및 물량 투입 중심의 정보화 사업을 추진해 왔으며 그 결과 다른 여러 나라와 비교해서 손색이 없을 정도로 교육 현장에 정보화 환경이 조성되고 있고, 교육정보화를 통한 교육 혁신의 중요성을 인식하고 있다. 그러나 현재 학교에 보급된 교육정보자원은 학교마다의 실정을 고려하지 않은 대부분 공급자 중심의 획일화 된 규격에 일부 자원의 경우 여러 가지 이유로 충분한 활용이 이뤄지지 못하고 있다. 또, 교육정보자원의 관리 측면에서는 관리 주체가 학교마다 다르고 제대로 지정되지 않은 경우도 많아 업무의 효율성과 관리의 용이성이 떨어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 10 여 년 동안 일선 학교에 보급된 교육정보자원을 보다 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서 현재 교육정보자원에 대한 활용, 관리 실태를 정확하게 파악하고, 조사 분석을 통해 문제점을 도출하고 이를 토대로 교육정보자원의 내실화 방안을 수립하여 제반 교육정보자원의 역할 및 기능을 재정립하고, 향후 신기술 수용 및 교육환경 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

The Effect of Organizational and Care Worker Related Factors on Client Violence Occurring at Nursing Homes (노인요양시설의 기관 및 종사자 관련 요인들은 클라이언트 폭력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of organizational and care worker factors on client violence occurring at nursing homes in Korea, and to provide an empirical basis on which to draw strategies for prevention and reduction of client violence. A survey was conducted on 253 care workers from 23 nursing homes located in 16 regions nationwide, and multiple regression models were analyzed to examine the effect of worker demographic variables, education and experience, work related characteristics, working conditions, and organizational risk management system on client violence. The respondents reported their experience of violence from the most frequent to the least in the order of physical, verbal, others, property damage, and sexual in nature; only half of their employers were implementing an organizational risk management system. In the regression analysis on client violence of all types combined, risk management procedures and supervisor leadership were found statistically signifiant. Based on these results, implications were discussed for agency efforts in improving risk management procedures and leadership training of supervisors.

The Relationship between TQM Practices and R&D Performance: A Contingency Approach (구조방정식을 이용한 TQM 프랙티스와 R&D 성과에 관한 연구: 상황이론적 접근)

  • Research interest in TQM has recently begun extending beyond manufacturing to moreinnovative R&D activities. Despite numerous studies of the relationship between TQM and organizational performance, little are known about the relationship between TQM and R&D performance. This is especially true for manufacturing-based R&D performance. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between TQM and R&D, and also explore several contingencies that moderate the relationship. The study uses data from 133 R&D divisions of Korean manufacturing firms to test hypotheses regarding the relation of TQM with R&D. TQM measures are aligned with the six criteria of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and the R&D performance measures consist of incremental and innovative R&D aspects. The findings from structural equation modeling show that TQM practices contribute to R&D performance significantly in aggregate, and their specific contributions vary according to the contingencies, which provide further understanding of the relationship between TQM and R&D in the manufacturing sector. Therefore, the results could offer firms a better strategy for their R&D management. This study is, however, exploratory in nature; the conclusion is tentative and may thus be different in other research settings.

Study of the Factors Related to the Labor Market Transition of Job Injured Workers (산업재해 근로자의 노동시장이행 관련 요인 연구)

  • This study analyzed the factors related to labor market transition of job injured workers. The Workers' Compensation Insurance Panel data ver.1, which that was surveyed by the Korean Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service in 2013, was used. Four key findings were made: first, the economically inactive populations are 7.2% and unemployed is 22.3% of occupational accident workers who finished the treatment period; second, 31.5% of laborers who returned to a new workplace went into another type of occupation; third, the results showed that socio-demographic factors, such as gender, age and education years, injury-related factors, such as the treatment period and work limitation, and workplace factors, such as company size and employment status, were associated with the return to work; and fourth, a relatively higher proportion of people who has received occupational training could not return to work and the disability grade was not associated with the return to work. These results suggest that policy makers need to understand the characteristics of labor market transition of job injured workers and develop efficient intervention programs based on the transitional labor market.

Related Factors of Musculoskelectal Symptoms in University Hospital Workers (대학병원 보건의료인의 근골격계 증상 관련요인)

  • This study is to identify the related factors of musculoskeletal symptoms in university hospital workers. The subjects were 313 workers who were working at a university hospital. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, logistic regretion using the SPSS/PC 21.0 program. The results showed that 201 respondents(64.2%) had musculoskelectal pain. According to a survey of musculoskeletal pain in body parts, the shoulder was the most common region; 37% of the health-workers(116 respondents). Musculoskeletal pain are more common in health-workers under 35 years old or work more than 6 years, or have more physical burden. In conclusion, health-workers need more active health care such as planning a preventive activity and stretching during work in order to prevent the deterioration of musculoskeletal symptoms into diseases.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop New-IT internship and to search for the way to reduce quality mismatch and unemployment ratio and to ultimately enhance its effectiveness of university-industry collaboration(UIC) in the field of information technology in Korea. To achieve the goal of this study, we tried to come up with more job creation than working on educational collaboration between university and industry. The survey based on the reaction of companies and interns participating in IT internship program promoted by MKE(Ministry of Knowledge and Economy) shows that intern experience helped them to get jobs and longer intern period gave them to find job more easily. Intern companies preferred to local college students majoring in special technology area related to regional innovation industry cluster. It also found that intern companies wanted to hire interns who had some project experiences and theoretical knowledges. IT Internship program affected students good images about small and medium enterprises(SME) after finishing internship.

  • This study was carried out in order to verify the influence that recognition was mad to organization commitment, organizational culture type leadership of a social welfare organization. The study object a total Part 456 was used to analysis as social worker engaged in to social welfare agency. It was for an independent variable to revolutionized leadership, exchanged leadership as leadership type, and it was organizational culture an mediator variable, analyzed correlation of organization commitment, analysis return in order to grasp an influence to be mad to organization commitment material leadership type, executed path analysis so that direct and indirect effect being mad to organization commitment organizational culture through leadership type. Result of research, A total effect to affect regarding organization commitment, there is most a lot of revolutionized leadership, affected that organization culture appeared group culture of an organization, exchanged leadership, development culture. A leader of a social welfare organization shall improve self-participation and business efficiency voluntary of an employee through revolutionized leadership, in order to improve organization commitment of an employee, this leadership types had to improve organization commitment of an employee as group culture of an organization.

  • Previous findings on Social Loafing indicated that Social Loafing explained the organizational commitment, that the lower level of Social Loafing they had, the higher performance they would have, and that it is a useful index for effectiveness of the organization. This study explored the Police Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment on Social Loafing. The Police officers' Police Officer's Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment and Social Loafing has been measured, and then how Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment affects Police Officer's Social Loafing has been examined. The study results may be used as a theoretical basis to assert the need of Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment to decrease the Police Officer's Social Loafing. Independent variable is Police Officer's Social Loafing and Dependent variable is comprises 2 categories; Police Organizational culture(The group culture, The hierarchical culture, The developmental culture, The rational culture), & the Organizational Commitment(Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, Normative Commitment). The result of analysis showed that The group culture & Normative Commitment influenced in Social Loafing(positive), and The Rational culture, Affective Commitment, & Continuance Commitment in Social Loafing(negative).

Team Commitment and Job Productivity Influential from Organizational Trust, Trust in Superior and Trust to Colleague Perceived by Revenue Officers (세무공무원이 지각하는 조직신뢰, 상사신뢰, 동료신뢰가 팀몰입과 직무생산성에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of the present study lied in providing empirical analysis over subjects of revenue officers targeted for suggesting effective managerial way for enhanced job productivity by using team commitment as a mediator in the correlation between trust and job productivity. As a result, it was identified that organizational trust, trust in superiors and trust to colleagues perceived by revenue officers have positive effects on team commitment, while the higher team commitment leads to higher job productivity, accordingly leading to better efficiency in carrying out tax-related administration and improving the level of satisfaction as for tax payers. It demonstrated that managers in tax-related organizations must create the foundation affordable for revenue officers to be widely exposed to participate in organization-related key decision-making processes in such a way that encourages and initiates them to have stronger loyalty and self-confidence based on common identity. Furthermore, much effort shall be continuously paid in designing personnel and organizational management policies in order for them to have faithfulness and adherence to their belonged organization.

Effect of Disaster and Safety Education on Disaster Risk Assessment (재난 위험도 평가 과정에 재난안전교육이 미치는 영향 평가)

  • As the disaster becomes bigger and more complicated and causes massive damage in the society, it becomes important to educate and exercise the people for the disaster response and safety. In this study, the effect of the disaster and safety education on the disaster risk assessment was evaluated. Disaster risk was calculated by the likelihood and consequences. The expert survey was used to evaluate the effect of the education on the likelihood and consequences. The inquiries were divided by the education target which makes different results of the survey. As a result, the disaster risk was reduced upto almost 48% when all people including the government workers and students were educated regularly. The result needs to be verified by the field data analysis. However, it provides the reason why the disaster and safety education is important.
