A Study on Remote Monitoring System for Protecting Aquaculture Farms (양식어장 보호를 위한 원격감시시스템의 구축방안에 관한 연구)

  • As GNP increases, many peoples need the seafood with high quality. In Korea, aquaculture is one of major incomes for fishing households and records $50.6\%$ of total incomes for domestic fishery. The loss of aquaculture farm due to thievery at sea increases every year. In this research, we propose the system model for development of radar surveillance system, which protects aquaculture farms. For the proposed system, general requirements are described Our system is cost-effective when it is applied to domestic fishing households.

  • In this paper, we study a FDS(fishery detection system) for protection of an aquaculture farm. The FDS will identify a robbing vessel with real time and detect variance of the position of aquaculture farm. We also propose a F-AIS(Fishery- Automatic Identification System), which can detect the object approaching to aquaculture farm and distinguish fishing boats from thief vessel The F-AIS with low price and wideband responsibility will be adopted to the FDS.

  • In this paper, we study the fishery detection system for protection of an aquamlture farm. The FDS(fishery detection system) will be recognize a robbing vessel with real time and variance the position of aquaculture farm. We try to develop the F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) which am be detect approaching object to aquaculture farm and distinguish our fishing boot from thief vessel. The F-AIS with low price and wideband responsibility am be adopt to the FDS, i. e. the identification for a small-sized fishing boots.

  • In this paper, a Kalman filter application for GDSS(Group Digital Surveillance System) developed to protect an aquaculture farms is discussed GDSS is composed by a WIWAS(Watching, Identification, Warning, and Action System) and a FDS(Fishery Detection System) that will monitor incoming and outgoing vessels in the aquaculture farms. In the FDS, a tracking function to track vessels without F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) is needed and the Kalman filter is applied to track vessels around the aquaculture farms. Some simulation results for the multi-objects with white noise is presented and the adaptation possibility for tracking system is discussed.

  • This paper describes Fishery Safety and Security System using F-AIS based on the concepts of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification). This system is to track, protect and arrest the thief who invaded in an fishing ground. The system composed with various functional modules to implement selectively available system providing low cost to high cost and simple function to high function according to user's requirement in a practical fishing fields. Sea trial tests are carried out at Mokpo, Busan and Incheon and, it is found that the system can guard the wide area of cultivating farm field.

  • This paper describes the implementation procedures and results of Fishery Safety and Security System to secure an aquaculture area from a thief. The system designed with various functional modules to implement selectively available system providing low cost to high cost and simple function to high function according to user's requirement in a practical fishing fields. In the abalone farm field located in Jin island, Jeonranam province and having condensed aquaculture facilities with 50 cages (10 row by 5 column) within 0.5 miles from coast, practical field tests are carried out. As results from that tests, it is found that the system can guard not only the whole area of cultivating farm field but also each cages with detail.

  • In this paper, we study on adaptation of the kalman filter for FDS(fishery detection system) to protect and aquaculture farms. The FDS will detect a robbing vessel with real time and a variance of the position of fishing fields. The kalman filter for tracking system that can be detect and track the approaching object without mounting F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) is applied. Some simulation results for the acceleration object with white noise is showed and the possibility of adaptation for tracking system is discussed.
