  • In this paper, we study the fishery detection system for protection of an aquamlture farm. The FDS(fishery detection system) will be recognize a robbing vessel with real time and variance the position of aquaculture farm. We try to develop the F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) which am be detect approaching object to aquaculture farm and distinguish our fishing boot from thief vessel. The F-AIS with low price and wideband responsibility am be adopt to the FDS, i. e. the identification for a small-sized fishing boots.

  • As GNP increases, many peoples need the seafood with high quality. In Korea, aquaculture is one of major incomes for fishing households and records $50.6\%$ of total incomes for domestic fishery. The loss of aquaculture farm due to thievery at sea increases every year. In this research, we propose the system model for development of radar surveillance system, which protects aquaculture farms. For the proposed system, general requirements are described Our system is cost-effective when it is applied to domestic fishing households.

The loss of aquaculture farm due to thievery at sea increases every year. In this research, we propose the system model for development of telemonitoring system, which protects aquaculture farms. For the proposed system, general requirements are described. Our system is cost-effective when it is applied to domestic fishing households.

  • This paper illustrates some practical geographic information system (GIS) applications for aiding fishery managers and coastal area planners in analysing the likely control scheme of coastal farming areas, and in providing a flexible framework for decision making on fishery development and zoning issues. The effective management of marine farming operation is vitally important since it can greatly influence economic availability by determining capital outlay and by affecting running costs, rates of productions and mortality factors. GIS has been widely adopted elsewhere as a potent management tool in both the private and public sectors. GIS is now being extensively adopted in marine-associated activities. Here, we have used GeoMania v2.5 GIS software and its 3D Analyst extension module to visualize marine farming areas data that were collected around the Jinhae bay.

  • 우리나라의 굴 양식업은 1970년대 수하식 굴 양식기술 개발보급으로 계속 증대 발전하였으나, 연안의 산업화와 도시화에 의한 수질환경 악화 그리고 장기간의 집약적 양식에 의한 어장 노화와 양식 굴의 품종 열화 등에 원인하여 1990년대에 들어서면서 양식 생산량이 점차 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 따라서 굴 양식의 지속적 생산 방안의 모색을 위하여 환경 적응력이 강한 굴 품종을 선발하고 변화된 어장환경을 이해하고자, 산지별 굴의 양성 해역별 양성시험을 실시하여 굴의 성장도, 비만도 및 생존율의 비교 조사와 그리고 환경조사 등을 실시하였다.   • 연안 해역은 어장환경 악화와 가용 먹이량을 초과한 시설량 증대로 양식 생물의 생존 및 성장률이 저하되어 생산량이 감소하고 있으며 (Keng et ai.,2000; Sugawara & Okoshi, 1991), 부영양화가 진행적지 않은 일부 해역에서도 양식 생물의 미성숙으로 인해 양식 기간이 연장되고 있다 (Choi et al., 1997). 이와 같은 이유로 양식 어장의 지속적인 개발과 이용을 위해서는 해역의 환경용량 (Carrying capacity)에 적합하도록 양식 생물 시설량을 재 조정할 필요성이 제기되고 있다 (Heral et al., 1990; Kang et al., 2000) (중략)
