Performance Evaluation on Blast-resistant of Gastight Door using Numerical Simulation (수치해석을 활용한 가스차단문의 폭발압력저항 성능평가)

  • As the scale of explosions diversifies along with the expansion of gas handling and storage facilities, studies on explosion-proof facilities in preparation for accidents is being actively conducted. The gastight door blocks the expansion pressure caused by blast waves or internal fires, and at the same time protects the personnel and equipment inside. For gastight doors, the regulations related to explosion-proof design are not clearly presented, and studies on the explosion pressure resistance performance evaluation of the facility are insufficient. In this study, the gastight door was modeled in a 3D shape with reference to the regulation ASTM regarding the gastight door standard. Afterwards, evaluation for blast-resistant performance of gastight door using Numerical simulation was evaluated by using ANSYS Explicit Dynamics to compare the deformation.

수면하 수중익 주위 유동장 및 쇄파의 실험적 해석에 관한 연구

  • 수중익선과 같은 고속선의 경우 수중익이 수면근처에 접근하면 여러형태의 파를 유기하게 되며 그에 의한 압력의 변화를 유발시킨다. 이에따라 양력이 감소하고 조파저항이 증가하다가 한계 Froude 수에 이르게 되면 파가 더이상 자신의 형태를 유지하지 못하고 부서지는 쇄파가 발생하면서 조파저항은 감소하고 그대신 쇄파저항이 급격히 증가하게 된다. 이에대한 연구의 한 방법으로 수면하에서 정속으로 움직이는 수중익에 의하여 생성되는 정상파 및 쇄파현상에 대한 연구를 회류수조에서 수행하였다.

  • 초정밀 박막저항을 제조하기 위하여, 3원계 5lwt%Ni-4lwt%Cr-8wt%Si 합금 타겟(Target)을 가지고 DC/RF 마그네트론 스퍼터를 이용하여 박막 저항을 제조하였고. 낮은 저항온도계수(TCR)를 가지는 박막을 만들기 위해 스퍼터링 제조공정의 변화에 따른 박막의 미세구조와 전기적인 특성을 조사하였다. 스퍼터링 제조공정 변수로써 스퍼터링 Power를 변화시켰고. 제조된 박막은 공기 중에서 400[$^{\circ}C$]까지 열처리하였다. 반응압력을 감소시킴에 따라 TCR값은 감소하였고, 기판온도 및 열처리 온도의 증가에 따라 TCR값도 증가하였다. 또한. 저항온도계수값은 DC와 RF의 변화에 따라 +52, -25(ppm/$^{\circ}C$)의 TCR값을 나타냈다 이와 같은 결과로부터 제조공정을 변화시킴에 따라 면저항 및 저항 온도계수의 제어가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • A measurement system of tri-axial pressure was designed and constructed to measure permeability and resistivity under changing confining pressure. The system was designed to measure the permeability and resistivity of a core simultaneously, consisting of tri-axial supporting device and sets of dual-flow measurement. In this measurement system the permeability and resistivity of a sample can be directly measured and porosity can be obtained using Archie's laws. As for physical properties, artificial core samples are made from mixtures of standard commercial sand and mud of illite. In-situ sediment cores were sampled at the water-depth of 1,800m in the Ulleung Basin East Sea. In order to investigate the effects of confining pressure changes on physical properties, permeability and resistivity changes were monitored with increasing confining pressure. In this study, it was found that with the increase of confining pressure, permeability and porosity tend to decrease and resistivity tend to increase exponentially.

Characteristics of Mo Thin Films Deposited by DC Magnetron Sputtering (DC 마그네트론 스퍼터링 방법에 의해 증착된 Mo 박막의 특성)

  • Mo thin films were deposited on soda lime glass at room temperature by using DC magnetron sputtering The electrical and structural properties of the films were investigated by varying DC power and gas pressure as the deposition parameter. As DC power increased, the deposition rate of Mo films was increased and the electrical resistivity was decreased. It was observable that the crystallinity of the films was improved with increasing DC power. As gas pressure decreased, the deposition rate and resistivity of the films were decreased, and long rectangular grains were densely formed. With increasing gas pressure, the grains were transformed to a round shape and the voids on the film surface were increased. It was confirmed that the electrical resistivity of Mo films was increased as the amount of oxygen combined with Mo atoms increased. It was also disclosed that the films have low resistivity as the degree of coupling of oxygen with Mo was reduced due to the enhancement of the crystallinity of the films.

A Study on the Resistance Performance and Flow Characteristic of Ship with a Fin Attached on Stern Hull (선박 선미부 핀 부착에 의한 저항성능 및 유동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a fin that controls ship stern flow was attached on stern hull of a 80k bulk carrier to improve resistance performance. The rectangular cross-sectional fin was attached at several locations on the hull, and angle to streamline was changed with constant length, breadth, and thickness. The resistance performance and wake on propeller plane of the hull with and without the fin were analyzed using model-scale computational fluid dynamics simulation. The analysis results were extrapolated to full-scale to compare the performance and wake of the full-scale ship. First, the fin changed path of bilge vortex that flowed into the propeller along the stern hull without the fin to transom stern. This change increased pressure of the stern hull and upper region of the propeller, so pressure resistance and total resistance of the hull were reduced - the nearer the fin location to after perpendicular (AP) and base line of the hull, the larger the reduction of the resistances. Second, nominal wake fraction of the hull with the fin was lower than that without the fin. This dif erence was in proportion to the angle of the fin, but the total resistance reduction was in proportion until a certain angle at which the reduction was maximum. The largest total resistance reduction was approximately 2.1% at 12.5% of length between perpendiculars from the AP, 10% of draft from the base line, and 14° with respect to the streamline.

Experimental research trends on Pressure Core Samples (압력 코어를 이용한 현장 가스 하이드레이트 함유 시료 연구 현황)

  • 저온 고압의 환경에서 안정한 하이드레이트 함유 퇴적물 연구를 위하여 현장의 압력을 유지하여 코어를 회수할 수 있는 압력 코어러 (Pressure Corer)가 개발된 이후로 다양한 방법으로 압력코어를 이용한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하이드레이트의 안정영역 특성상 일반 코어러 샘플에서는 하이드레이트 함유 퇴적물의 회수가 용이하지 않았던 이유로 압력코어샘플응 이용한 현장 하이드레이트 함유 퇴적물의 연구는 필수적이다. 초기 단계에서는 압력코어를 이용한 비파괴 검사와 단순 감압 시험이 이루어졌다. 비파괴 검사를 통하여서는 X-ray 단면, 감마 밀도 (gamma density), 음파 속도 등이 측정 되었으며 감암 시험을 통하여서는 시료 내 하이드레이트 함유량을 산정하였다. 감압 후 다양한 지화학 분석이 후행되었다. 가스 하이드레이트 함유 퇴적물의 물성과 생산 거동이 점차 부각됨에 따라 압력코어 시료를 순간 감압하여 액체 질소에 보관하였다가 압밀시험, 삼축 압축 시험 등 물성 시험이 수행되었으며 수행 동안 X-ray 단면, 비저항, 음파 속도 등의 물성측정이 이루어졌다. 또한 액체 질소 보관 시료를 이용하여 감압법, 열염수 주입법, 열자극 법 등을 적용하여 생산 실험을 수행하기도 하였다. 이후에 압력코어 시료 절단 및 이동 시스템이 개발됨에 따라 보다 다양하고 많은 연구자 들이 압력코어 시료를 이용할 수 있게 되었으며 물성 연구뿐만 아니라 미생물 연구에 까지 압력코어 시료가 사용되게 되었다. 최근에는 절단 시료를 이용한 생산 실험 연구 또한 진행되었다.

Electrical and Optical Properties of Ga-doped ZnO Thin Films Deposited at Different Process Pressures by RF Magnetron Sputtering (RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로 제작된 Ga-doped ZnO 박막의 공정압력에 따른 전기적, 광학적 특성)

  • Ga-doped ZnO (GZO) thin films for application as transparent conducting oxide film were deposited on the glass substrate by using rf-magnetron sputtering system. The effects of working pressure on electrical and optical characteristics of GZO films were investigated. Regardless of the working pressure, all films were oriented along with the c-axis, perpendicular to the substrate. The electrical resistivity was about $8.68{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm\sim2.18{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ and the average transmittance of all films including substrates was over 90% in the visible range. The good transparents and conducting properties were obtained due to controle the working pressure. The obtained results have acceptable for application as transparent conductive electrodes in LCDs and solar cells.

The Analysis About The Yield Strength Improvement of The Silicon Low-pressure Sensor (저압용 실리콘 압력센서의 내압 특성 향상에 관한 해석)

  • This paper presents that the yield strength of the pressure sensor with a double boss diaphragm structure can be improved as the grooves are formed at the corner of the diaphragm bridge. Generally the boss structure is widely used for the low-pressure sensor, of which the sensitivity is not enough in case of the small diaphragm size limited by a chip size constraint. The double boss structure pressure sensor exhibits a great sensitivity, but suffers from the low yield strength problem due to the high stress occurred at the corner of the diaphragm bridge to be limited in the operating range. ANSYS simulation is performed by changing the length of the groove from 0.5${\mu}m$ to 10${\mu}m$ at the corner of the diaphragm bridge of the double boss structure pressure sensor. The maximum stress is analyzed at the corner of the diaphragm bridge, the edge of the diaphragm bridge, and the position of the piezoresistive sensor. Consequently, in case the length of the groove from the edge of the diaphragm is 6${\mu}m$ or greater, the stress occurred in the corner of the bridge is less than the stress acting on a piezoresistive element.

Effect of Deposition Time and Pressure on Properties of Selective CVD-W by $SiH_4$ Reduction ($SiH_4$ 환원에 의한 Selective CVD-W막 특성에 대한 증착시간과 압력의 효과)

  • Change of the properties of selective CVD-W by $SiH_4$ reduction with the variation of deposition time and pressure has been investigated. The lime required for covering the who)to Si substrate by tungsten at $300^{\circ}C$ under the pressure of 100mtorr is approximately 30 seconds. The film thickness tends to increase linearly in the early stage of deposition process and parabolically later, sheer resistance of the film tends to decrease rapidly initially, and slowly later with deposition time. Tungsten grain size does not change much, but grain boundary becomes hazy in the pressure range of 50-300mtorr. Also no ${\beta}-W$ but only ${\alpha}-W$ was found in this pressure range. The deposition rate and electrical resistivity of tungsten tend to increase wish increasing pressure. The results of AES analysis show that pressure does not much affect Si/W ratio of the tungsten film and silicidation at the W/Si interface.
