The Study on the Explanatory Factors of the Disabled Women's Safety in the Convergence Society (융복합 사회에서 장애여성 안전의 설명요인에 대한 연구)

  • This study aimed to explore the factors explaining the safety of disabled women in the convergence society and was surveyed 374 disabled women nationwide. This study examined the factors that explain the safety of disabled women from the accidents and crimes in terms of individual, familial, and community characteristics. Main findings are as follows: 1) the safety from accident was largely explained by the community type and social capital condition in characteristics of community domain. The material hardship in characteristics of familial domain and disability level in characteristics of individual domain explained the safety from accident also. 2) the safety from crime was largely explained by the material hardship in characteristics of familial domain. And the community type and social support condition in characteristics of community domain and the educational level in characteristics of individual domain explained the safety from crime. Based on the findings, we suggested practical and institutional implications to ensure the disabled women's safety.

A Study on the Evacuation Model Considering Occupancy Load in Child Care Center with Disabilities (장애아전문 어린이집 재실자 피난 부하를 고려한 피난 모델 연구)

  • The purposes of this study are to propose evacuation recommendations through evacuation model considering occupancy load model in child care center with disabilities. To achieve these purposes, the survey on the occupancy load and egress model and evacuation experiments have carried out, and evacuation occupancy load model for child care center with disabilities are suggested. The results of this study are as follows : (1) The evacuation plan for children with disabilities are necessary special considerations according the type and levels of disability, and various egress means and method for children in child care center with disabilities conditions. (2) The evacuation occupancy loads are different with non-impaired children and evacuation occupancy loads and evacuation corridors width are necessary considering impaired children's evacuation behaviors. (3) The temporal evacuation area(refuge area) is essential for children with disability who are impossible vertical evacuation such as impaired children using wheelchair and cerebral palsy.

  • 해상안전 및 해양환경보호를 위한 국제사회 노력의 일환으로 VTS는 중대한 역할을 수행하고 있으며, 이는 육상 기지국과 선박간의 상호교신을 바탕으로 하여 이루어진다. 이에 따라 각 VTS는 보고체계를 수립하여 운용하고 있으나, 원래의 목적과 취지를 살리지 못하는 바람에 많은 문제점을 노출하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 살펴보고, 보고체계의 통일화, 통과선박의 보고체계 개선, 출항전 보고의 확립, 안전장애보고의 의무화 등의 VTS 보고체계의 개선방안을 제시하였다.

A Study on the Improvement and the Survey Study on the Complaints of People with Disabilities in the Use of Disabled Car (복지차 이용 시 장애인의 불편사항 조사와 개선방안 연구)

  • This study is to suggest necessary improvements of inconvenient elements as well as the ergonomic design standard to develop disabled cars by evaluating the types of needs and observing the behavior characteristics on their car use and the survey on the complaints of the disabled drivers and their guardians in the use of disabled car. The results of this study are as follows. First, both the disabled drivers and their guardians are found to feel high inconvenience and low satisfaction with the cars they use now. Second, the disabled owner-drivers also answered in a same way as guardians. They find the most difficulty in moving the supporting equipment to get into and out of a car. Both the owner-drivers with disabilities and guardians complained of lack of handiness they face when they wear the seat belts and sitting on the seats. In view of this, a disabled car to be developed should have ergonomic design for its seats and the safety of the seatbelt as well as trouble-free supporting equipment helping them move. Third, rather than owner-drivers with handicaps, guardians expressed more difficulties and less contentment with the cars for the disabled, which is reckoned to lead to the changes of perspectives on development of cars for the disabled breaking away from existing viewpoints focusing on the accessibility to the vehicles. Fourth, both owner-drivers and guardians showed higher interests in driving and other safety and convenience measures than in using supporting equipment to get into and out of vehicles, implying that rather than the accessibility to get into and out of a car, convenience should primarily be taken into account for the design of the disabled car. Fifth, the auto-manufacturer is to give prior thought to user convenience when developing a car in practice. For this, the developer may have the disabled car users join the process of development as well as asking experts for help and participation.

A Study on the Real Condition of Teachers' Safety Accident and Methods of Preventive Education in Special Schools for Students with Mental Disorder (지적장애 특수학교 교사의 안전사고 실태 및 예방교육 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study is the purpose of effective safety education measures for special school teachers with intellectual disabilities on the status of safety accidents and preventive education. In summary, the results show that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the safety education activities of teachers at special schools with intellectual disabilities, safety education environment, safety education recognition, safety education knowledge, safety resources and training experience, and internal and external factors. Overall, the experience of safety accidents by teachers is higher than expected, and the practice of safety education to prevent the occurrence of various places, times, and types such as classrooms, staircases, auditoriums, and rides. The practice of safety education to prevent this also indicated that the safety resources of special school teachers and opportunities for training experiences should be expanded more by presenting safety data, knowledge, awareness, and education activities in order.

A Study of Effect of Disability Prevention Program Acquired by People with Disabilities are Performed : centered on Elementary School Students (휠체어 장애인과 함께하는 장애예방교육의 융·복합 효과에 관한 연구 : 초등학생을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect the disability prevention program by spinal cord injury lecturer for elementary school students. 1,167 students participated and data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test by SPSS 22.0 program and qualitative analysis. The disability prevention program was a 40minutes, program composed of cause of disability, watching cases of accidents, story of disabled lecturer. The result showed that there were significant improvements in self-efficacy(Z=-26.109, p<.01) and awareness for the disabled. This study suggests that the disability prevention program by disabled lecturer had a positive effect on elementary school students. So the program should be expanded for children.

  • 최근 대형화 고층화 복합화 등 점차 발전하는 건축물의 피난 안전성을 확보하기 위하여 성능위주 중심의 피난안전계획이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 관련 법규의 세부적 기준이 없어 국외 기준에 기반하여 피난안전계획이 진행되고 있다. 특히 신체적 약자로 대변되는 재해약자는 전체 인구 중 17%를 차지하여 점차 증가되는 추세로 그 필요성이 강조된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 재해약자의 피난 안전성 확보를 위하여 재해약자의 연구 문헌을 검토한 결과 신체적인 장애보다는 장애에 따른 이동 형태에 따라 재해약자의 보행형태를 구분하여 크게 도보를 이용한 자력 이동과 보조기구를 이용한 조력 이동, 보조기구를 이용한 자력 이동으로 구분할 수 있었으며 연령과 장애 모두 영향 인자로 작용하였으며 연령이 높아질수록, 자력 이동이 불편할수록 이동 속도가 저하되는 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 국내의 현실을 반영하여 조사된 내용을 기반으로 실험적 연구가 필요하다.

A Study on the Recognitions on Evacuation and Architectural Design Characteristics of Child Care Center with Disabilities (장애아 전문 어린이집 피난인식 및 건축현황 분석 연구)

  • The purposes of this study are to propose architectural design and evacuation management guidelines for child care center with disabilities. To achieve these purposes, the questionnaire has carried out for director who manage child care center and analyzed the architectural characteristics of child care center for children with disabilities. The results of this study are as follows : (1) 65.3% directors think that less than 30% of children with disabilities in child care center can evacuate by oneself, and 73.2% of child care centers have difficulties for safe evacuation because of more than 50% of children with complex disabilities. (2) The moving or visual impaired children who live more than 2nd floors are need safe refuge areas for waiting in child care centers. (3) The child care centers for children with disabilities which were renovated from housing and multi-family housing have difficulties in vertical evacuating, and needs renovating for promotion of convenience and evacuation of children with disabilities.
