  • Smart grid technology can expand energy efficiency into the home by monitoring consumer energy usage in real time and communicating with household devices that respond to demands to shut off during periods of non-use, allowing individual consumers to control their electricity usage more effectively. But, the information collected on a smart grid will form a library of personal information, the mishandling of which could be highly invasive of consumer privacy. There will be major concerns if consumer-focused principles of transparency and control are not treated as essential design principles from beginning to end. In this paper, using. All-Or-Nothing Transform encryption mode for providing smart grid security, we propose efficient distributed data Management based on XOR operation. The contribution of this paper is to provide a secure algorithm that manages efficiently distributed data in the field of private data in smart grid environment.

Development of Virtual Construction Equipment Simulation System Based on BIM for Civil Engineering Project (토목시설물에 대한 BIM 기반 가상건설 장비 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발)

  • BIM(building information modeling) has been actively applied to construction industries and to maximize its application through the life cycle of structure, various relevant technologies have been proposed. In particular, 4D sequencing management and 5D cost-related management were introduced as an improved version of the design review and interface control by 3D information design. On the other hand, the virtual construction using virtual construction equipment can sophisticatedly handle capacity, dynamic movement, collision boundaries of actual construction machines but it still stays at a low level in a technical sense. In this study, simulation systems based on BIM involving virtual construction equipment have been developed; then it is applied to the actual construction project to evaluate the safety and efficiency of construction equipments. It was confirmed that the simulation systems can be utilized to construct virtual construction site by using an effective 3D library of construction equipment and can plays a key role to secure construction safety and economic feasibility. Specifically, the simulation system are very useful for decision making by construction managers to select the optimum equipment and construction method with a better understanding for safety and cost-saving.

Efficient Real-time Lane Detection Algorithm Using V-ROI (V-ROI를 이용한 고효율 실시간 차선 인식 알고리즘)

  • Information technology improves convenience, safety, and performance of automobiles. Recently, a lot of algorithms are studied to provide safety and environment information for driving, and lane detection algorithm is one of them. In this paper, we propose a lane detection algorithm that reduces the amount of calculation by reducing region of interest (ROI) after preprocessing. The proposed algorithm reduces the area of ROI a lot by determining the candidate regions near lane boundaries as V-ROI so that the amount of calculation is reduced. In addition, the amount of calculation can be maintained almost the same regardless of the resolutions of the input images by compressing the images since the lane detection algorithm does not require high resolution. The proposed algorithm is implemented using C++ and OpenCV library and is verified to work at 30 fps for realtime operation.

  • 1988년 이전에는 한국의 석유화학공장은 다른 나라에 비하여 관리상태나 손해상황이 양호한 공 장으로 여겨져 거의 안전도조사(underwriting survey)가 실시되지 않았으나 1989년 이후부터 보험사고가 급격히 증가, 보험금 지급이 많아져 위험조사를 실시한 후 보험을 인수하게 되었다. 일반적으로 석유화학공업의 내용연수는 15년에서 20년으로 보고 있으며 미국, 일본 등 선진국 에서도 건설한지 20년을 전후해서 사고가 다발한다는 점은 국내 석유화학공장의 안전성 확보대 책에서 중요한 점을 시사한다. 석유화학공업의 안전성 확보대책으로서 해외재보험자가 요구하고 있는 "경영전반적인 위험관리"를 도입 추진하여야 할 것으로 사료된다. 여기에는 사전적 손해 방지대책을 포함하는 위험통제는 기본적으로 이루어져야 하며 사후적 대책인 위험재무도 경영 효율이 극대화되도록 하여야 한다. 그러나 최근 들어 국내공장의 사고빈발로 해외재보험자들이 재물손해의 자기부담금액(deductible)인상(business interuption)의 Time Excess연장(7일에서3 0일) 등의 보험조건을 강화하고 있다. 따라서 외국의 사고 경험에 비추어 국내 플랜트의 내용연 수가 거의 다 되어서 사고발생위험이 잠재하고 있고 석유화학공업의 특성상 사고빈도는 낮으나 손해규모가 대규모이고 국가경제에 기여하는 비율이 타산업에 비해 월등히 크다는 점 등에서 안전대책에 대한 경영자의 관심제고를 밑바탕으로 한 위험관리의 정착화, 안전기준 등의 국제 수준으로 향상 및 전문기술인력 확보를 통하여 사고발생 억제에 대하여 소홀히 해서는 안된다고 사료된다.안된다고 사료된다.작 원리 및 제조방법에 대하여 기술한다. 2차원 그래픽의 기능만으로도 충분한 역할을 수행할 수 있지만, 그 다음 단계인 기본설계나 상세설계와의 자료 공유를 생각하면, 3차원 그래 픽이 필요하다. 다만, 3차원 그래픽 기능을 추가하기 위해 많은 노력이 요구되는데, 현재 PHIG S와 x-window가 결합되어 PEX라는 라이브러리로 개발되고 있으므로 차후의 연구에 포함될 수 있을 것이며, 이 글에서는 간단한 2차원 그래픽 기능만을 이용하였다. 앞으로 PEX의 기능을 적 절히 구사하면, 좋은 효과를 볼 수 있을 것이다. 279cm 되게 하고 선축은 팬톰의 27번 절편과 28번 절편의 접변과 최대 전단면의 교차선과 일치시켜 양방향에서 15분씩 조사하여 전단면에서 선량을 측정하였다. 팬톰내 선축상 중앙점의 선량을 기준으로 다른 부위의 선량을 비교하였다. 두경부와 복부, 폐의 하반에서 선량의 차이는 $\pm$ 10% 이내였고, 폐의 상반과 어깨와 골반 부위에서 선량은 10%이상 저선량을 보였다. 특히 어깨부위에는 30%이상 저선량을 보였다. 이로부터 서울대병원과 유사한 조건에서 코발트로 전신조사하는 경우에는 폐나 두경부에 대응하는 조직보상체를 이용하기보다는 어깨부위에 선량을 추가하는 것이 바람직할 것이라고 생각한다.alpha$ 부분공간들의 합공간 역시 on-semistrbtifiable over $\alpha$ 하다. 6. 폐연속 net-cevering 함수에 의하여 cn-semistratifiable over $\alpha$ 성질이 보존된다. 보잘것이 없었고, 현재에도

Software Package for Pipe Hydraulics Calculation for Single and Two Phase Flow (배관 유동의 주요 변수계산을 위한 소프트웨어 시스템의 개발)

  • In various industrial processes, piping serves as a link between unit processes and is an essential installation for internal flow. Therefore, the optimum design of the piping system is very important in terms of safety and cost, which requires the estimation of the pressure drop, flow rate, pipe size, etc. in the piping system. In this study, we developed a software that determines pressure drop, flow rate, and pipe size when any two of these design variables are known. We categorized the flows into single phase, homogeneous two phase, and separated two phase flows, and applied suitable calculation models accordingly. We also constructed a system library for the calculation of the pipe material, relative roughness, fluid property, and friction coefficients to minimize user input. We further created a costing library according to the piping material for the calculation of the investment cost of the pipe per unit length. We implemented all these functions in an integrated environment using a graphical user interface for user convenience, and C # programming language. Finally, we verified the accuracy of the software using literature data and examples from an industrial process with obtained deviations of 1% and 8.8% for the single phase and two-phase models.

An Adaptive Road ROI Determination Algorithm for Lane Detection (차선 인식을 위한 적응적 도로 관심영역 결정 알고리즘)

  • Road conditions can provide important information for driving safety in driving assistance systems. The input images usually include unnecessary information and they need to be analyzed only in a region of interest (ROI) to reduce the amount of computation. In this paper, a vision-based road ROI determination algorithm is proposed to detect the road region using the positional information of a vanishing point and line segments. The line segments are detected using Canny's edge detection and Hough transform. The vanishing point is traced by a Kalman filter to reduce the false detection due to noises. The road ROI can be determined automatically and adaptively in every frame after initialization. The proposed method is implemented using C++ and the OpenCV library, and the road ROIs are obtained from various video images of black boxes. The results show that the proposed algorithm is robust.

  • Recently, the technologies related to autonomous drive has studying the goal for safe operation and prevent accidents of vehicles. There is radar and camera technologies has used to detect obstacles in these autonomous vehicle research. Now a day, the method for using LiDAR sensor has considering to detect nearby objects and accurately measure the separation distance in the autonomous navigation. It is calculates the distance by recognizing the time differences between the reflected beams and it allows precise distance measurements. But it also has the disadvantage that the recognition rate of object in the atmospheric environment can be reduced. In this paper, point cloud data by triangular functions and Line Regression model are used to implement measurement algorithm, that has improved detecting objects in real time and reduce the error of measuring separation distances based on improved reliability of raw data from LiDAR sensor. It has verified that the range of object detection errors can be improved by using the Python imaging library.

A Design of AES-based CCMP Core for IEEE 802.11i Wireless LAN Security (IEEE 802.11i 무선 랜 보안을 위한 AES 기반 CCMP Core 설계)

  • This paper describes a design of AES(Advanced Encryption Standard)-based CCMP core for IEEE 802.1li wireless LAN security. To maximize its performance, two AES cores ate used, one is for counter mode for data confidentiality and the other is for CBC(Cipher Block Chaining) mode for authentication and data integrity. The S-box that requires the largest hardware in AES core is implemented using composite field arithmetic, and the gate count is reduced by about $20\%$ compared with conventional LUT(Lookup Table)-based design. The CCMP core designed in Verilog-HDL has 13,360 gates, and the estimated throughput is about 168 Mbps at 54-MHz clock frequency. The functionality of the CCMP core is verified by Excalibur SoC implementation.

Development of Automatic Design Program for Solid Rocket Motors Structure (고체 추진기관 구조체의 설계 자동화 프로그램 개발)

  • In order to perform system requirements quickly and accurately, an automatic design program of solid rocket motors(SRM) structure designated as the 'ProDes software' has been developed and verified. from given system design criteria and constraints, it has the capabilities to design, analysis, simulation and drawing process to greatly reduce the over 'design cycle time' and manpower of a project. The conception of the program is modular, and calculations are performed step by step allowing parametric design studies and providing final selected design goal. Each configurations of SRM components and joint types composed of various master models is obtained from the data base module of the library. Between the design results of the ProDes software and those of the previous detail design of the established motor showed good agreements.

Run-Time Hardware Trojans Detection Using On-Chip Bus for System-on-Chip Design (온칩버스를 이용한 런타임 하드웨어 트로이 목마 검출 SoC 설계)

  • A secure and effective on-chip bus for detecting and preventing malicious attacks by infected IPs is presented in this paper. Most system inter-connects (on-chip bus) are vulnerable to hardware Trojan (Malware) attack because all data and control signals are routed. A proposed secure bus with modifications in arbitration, address decoding, and wrapping for bus master and slaves is designed using the Advanced High-Performance and Advance Peripheral Bus (AHB and APB Bus). It is implemented with the concept that arbiter checks share of masters and manage infected masters and slaves in every transaction. The proposed hardware is designed with the Xilinx 14.7 ISE and verified using the HBE-SoC-IPD test board equipped with Virtex4 XC4VLX80 FPGA device. The design has a total gate count of 39K at an operating frequency of 313MHz using the $0.13{\mu}m$ TSMC process.
