간호대학생의 공감능력, 아동권리 인식, 아동학대 인식이 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of nursing students' ability to empathize, recognize children's rights, and perceive child abuse on their intention to report child abuse)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing nursing students' intentions to report child abuse. Methods: The participants of this study were 151 nursing students who were currently enrolled in nursing departments in Korea and who were at least 18 years of age or older. This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design, and the data were collected from February 16, to March 13, 2023, using an online self-administered survey. The questionnaire included general characteristics, empathy ability, child rights recognition, child abuse perception, and intention to report child abuse. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 29.0. Results: The intention to report child abuse showed statistically significant positive correlations with empathy ability (r=.23, p<.001), child rights recognition (r=.34, p<.001), and child abuse perception (r=.63, p<.001). In the multiple regression analysis, the factors significantly related to nursing students' intention to report child abuse were as follows: awareness of mandatory reporting (yes) (β=.16, p=.021) and child abuse perception (β=.56, p<.001). The explanatory power of these factors was 45.0% (F=20.03, p<.001). Conclusion: Considering the findings of this study, it is necessary to develop and implement educational programs for improving the perception of child abuse and thus enhancing nursing students' intention to report child abuse.

학령전기 아동 성장발달의 PBL 모듈 개발 (Development of a Problem-Based Learning Module for Preschoolers' Growth & Development)

  • 문제중심학습(PBL)은 간호 임상실습 시 간호 지식, 기술과 태도를 통합하는 학습자 중심의 교육이다. 본 연구는 간호학 교과과정 가운데 학령전기 아동 성장발달의 PBL 모듈을 적용하기 위한 사전 연구이다. 이에 본 양적연구는 PBL 모듈을 Dick과 Carye의 프로그램 개발 과정(계획, 개발, 적용, 평가 단계)에 따라 개발하였고 2학년 간호대학생을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 활용하여 그 효과를 평가하였다. PBL 모듈은 각 팀 당 4-5명의 학생이 약 40분 정도 참여하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, 내용분석을 하였다. 그 결과 간호대학생의 메타인지 수준이 유의하게 증가하였고, 팀 효능감은 모듈 참여 전후로 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 사후 학습만족도가 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 간호대학생은 PBL 모듈 참여 후 학령전기 아동성장발달에 관한 지식 및 문제해결능력을 습득하였고 PBL 참여 시 팀워크에 대해 만족한다고 응답하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 간호 교과과정 내 PBL 모듈의 적용을 고려하기 위한 근거 자료를 제공하였다.

호스피스 간호 관련 국내 연구 동향 (Trends in Research on Hospice Care in Korea)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 우리나라 호스피스 간호 연구 동향을 알아보기 위해 시도되었다. 방법: 본 연구의 대상은 1985년부터 2009년까지 24년 동안 발표된 국내 호스피스 간호 관련 논문 총 183편으로 간호학위논문 62편과 비학위논문으로서 학술지에 게재된 논문 121편이었다. 본 분석대상 논문은 한국교육학술정보원에서 제공하는 학술정보서비스(http://www.riss.kr)를 이용하여 호스피스(완화) 간호, 말기(암)환자의 핵심어를 조합하여 검색하였다. 검색결과 호스피스 관련 국내 학위논문과 대한간호학회지, 아동간호학회지, 정신간호학회지, 성인간호학회지, 병원간호사회지, 행정간호학회지, 종양간호학회지, 한국 호스피스 완화의료학회지, 호스피스 학술지, 호스피스 논집 등에 게재된 논문들을 대상으로 하였고, 학위논문 중 학술지에 게재된 것은 학술지를 분석대상으로 하였다. 단, 종설과 인터넷으로 원문수집이 불가능한 논문은 제외하였다. 결과: 호스피스 간호 관련 논문 수가 급증하였고, 연구설계 유형은 양적연구가 질적연구보다 월등하게 많았다. 분석대상 논문에서 도출된 주요어는 5개 영역에서 총 74개가 도출되었고, 총 225개의 주요어를 사용하였다. 자료수집시 윤리적 고려는 서면동의가 많았고, IRB를 통과한 연구가 극소수이며, 다학제간 연구 지원금은 점차 증가하였다. 결론: 결론적으로 말기암환자의 간호문제나 현상을 연구하기 위해서는 조사연구보다는 질적연구 방법의 접근이 많이 필요하고, 연구개념도 삶의 질과 더불어 죽음의 질에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 중재연구에 있어서는 말기암환자의 가장 큰 문제로 대두되고 있는 통증완화, 기타 주요 신체간호, 그리고 보완대체요법에 관한 간호연구가 더 필요하다고 본다. 또한 간호학 연구를 넘어 다학제적 팀 연구가 더 많이 수행되어야 하며, 마지막으로 아동호스피스에 관한 연구가 매우 미비한데, 이에 관한 연구가 더 시행되어야함을 제안한다.

알레르기질환 아동의 문제행동 변화유형 분석: 5~7차 한국아동패널 자료를 이용한 2차자료분석 (Identifying Trajectories of Behavioral Problems in Children with Allergic Diseases: Secondary Data Analysis of the 5th to 7th Panel Study of Korean Children)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify latent classes of behavioral problem trajectories in children with allergic diseases and investigate their predictors. Methods: This study used data from the 5th to 7th Panel Study of Korean Children. The participants included 840 children aged 4~6 years with allergic diseases. Statistical analyses were conducted using latent class growth analysis and multinomial logistic regression. Results: The trajectories of both internalizing and externalizing behavioral problems in children with allergic diseases were classified into five groups, that is deteriorative, recovering, changing 1 (decreasing-increasing), changing 2 (increasing-decreasing), and low state persistent group. For the internalizing behavioral problems, predictors were temperament, father's education, family interaction, and disconnection in peer interaction. For the externalizing behavioral problems, predictors child's gender, temperament, marital conflict, parenting stress, family interaction, and parenting environment. Conclusion: Deteriorative group has high-risk behavioral problems in children with allergic diseases. We suggest to provide interventions considering latent problem trajectories based on ecological environments for allergic children.

아동간호학 임상실습교육 현황 (An Analysis on Clinical Education of Pediatric Nursing)

  • This study was conducted to analyse the current clinical education of pediatric nursing in baccalaurate nursing program, then to give basic data for enhancing the quality of future clinical education of pediatric nursing. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaire by mail from December 2001 to February 2002. The subjects were 29 schools of 50 baccalaurate nursing education programs. The data were analysed by double raters, researcher and assistant researcher. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Twenty-eight schools had the objectives of the clinical education of pediatric nursing, and 28 schools in pediatric ward, 23 schools in nursery, 22 schools in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU), 15 schools in objectives related to profession by clinical site. 2. Credits on clinical education of pediatric nursing were most 15 schools of 3 credits. 3. The clinical sites were mainly the hospital that sick children were admitted in. 4. The clinical teacher were 9 types including pediatric professor and field nurse. 5. On teacher's role, the professor instructed the case study and conference, and field nurse instructed the patient assignment and nursing procedures. 6. All of schools used explanation and conference as a method of clinical education, 1 or 2 schools used PBL or role play or field study. 7. On clinical education content, most of school included Apgar scoring system, physical examination in newborn assessment, respira- tion maintenance, temperature maintenance, infection prevention, nutrition, and bath in newborn care. 8. On clinical education content, most of school included care of incubator, phototheraty, infusion, gavage feeding and how to use the instruments in NICU. Eighteen schools included attachment promotion, and 20 schools case study. 9. On clinical education content, most of school included a checklist of nursing procedures, case study, assessment of growth and development in pediatric ward and other sites. 10.There were various evaluation types in scores, measuring items. In conclusion, the results of this study revealed that there were some discrepancy in the objectives and contents, clinical sites on hospital focused, teacher's role, and diversity of measurement items and ratings in clinical education of pediatric nursing. There is a need for a standardization of content, clinical site, and evaluation tool to improve a quality of clinical education of pediatric nursing based on this study.

학령전기 입원 아동의 보호자를 위한 QR 코드를 활용한 스마트폰 기반의 흡입요법 교육 자료 개발 (Development of Smart Phone-based Nebulizer Educational Material Using QR Cord for Parents of Hospitalized Preschool Children)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop educational material for parents of hospitalized preschool children who receive nebulizer therapy treatment. The educational material is aimed at providing information on the correct use of nebulizer. Methods: The development of educational material was based on the ADDIE model and consists of an A4-sized leaflet and a video. Results: The leaflet included basic information, procedures, and cautionary information for nebulizer therapy, as well as frequently asked questions. The one minute and fifty second video is accessed via QR code and provides step-by-step instruction on nebulizer therapy. Conclusion: This study recommends that the educational leaflet and video developed for nebulizer therapy use be provided to parents of preschool children hospitalized in the pediatric ward.

학령기 아동의 손상 예방행동 영향 요인 분석 (Exploring the Factors Associated with Injury Prevention Behavior among School-Age Children Using the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the injury prevention behaviors of school-age children using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and sought to identify the associated factors. Methods: A sample of 199 students in Grades 3 to 6 and their parents participated in the study. Measures were used to assess injury prevention behaviors, intentions, and parental influence. The data were analyzed using logistic regression analysis. Results: The findings showed that a stronger intention toward injury prevention behavior, living in an urban area, and higher involvement of parent's to prevent injuries were significantly associated with higher levels of injury prevention behaviors among the children. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of intention, parental influence, and urban residence in promoting injury prevention behaviors among school-age children. The findings suggest the need for tailored interventions targeting these factors to promote prevention of injuries among children. Further research is needed to develop comprehensive strategies to prevent injuries in this population.

응급실 간호사의 소아응급간호 업무 및 간호수행자신감 분석 (An Analysis of Pediatric Emergency Nursing Practice and Nursing Competence among Emergency Department Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the frequency, perceived importance and competence of pediatric emergency nursing practice (PENP) in nurses who cared for pediatric patients in the emergency department. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study analyzed 175 emergency department nurses caring for pediatric patients at 7 university hospitals with more than 500 beds, located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The measurement tool was modified from the Classification of Standard Nursing Activities to measure the frequency, importance of PENP, and nursing competence. It comprised 143 items in 16 domains of PENP. Results: The most frequent nursing practice was the domain of 'nursing records and environmental management' and the least frequent practice was the 'research and consulting' domain. The nursing care domain perceived to be most important by nurses was 'specialized intensive nursing care'. The nursing care domain with the highest level of nursing competence was 'hygiene care', and the domain with the least level of nursing competence was the 'research and consulting'. Conclusion: These results will be utilized as basic data for future pediatric emergency nursing education initiatives and for establishing priorities of nursing policy to improve health care for children admitted to the emergency department.

건강장애아동의 어머니가 인식한 아동의 병원학교 참여경험 (Health Impaired Children's Participation Experience of Hospital School Programs as Perceived by Mothers)

  • Purpose: This study was to the experiences hospital school programs health impaired children as perceived by mothers. Methods: The participants were 9 mothers of children with health impairment who had in hospital school program. ata were collected through in-depth interview using semi-structured questionnaire. The interviews were analyzed by content analysis. Results: domains and 13 categories were extracted from the analysis. The 5 domains related to the experience hospital school program were emotion, therapeutic course, interpersonal relationship, school reentry, and needs for hospital school management. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that participation hospital school programs not only educational support but it is also helpful for physical, psychosocial adjustment of health impaired children and could be used develop effective hospital school programs to improve the adaption of children with health impairment.
