  • This study explored in-depth emotional experiences influenced by childhood trauma of adult female survivors. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with married adult women who experienced trauma in their childhood. The collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi phenomenological research method. As a result of the study, 7 categories were derived: 'children who cannot protect themselves', 'childhood trauma,' 'insecure attachment and good child syndrome,' 'difficulties in interpersonal relationships,' 'difficulties in raising children,' 'somatization symptoms,' 'finding myself who is lost.' In addition, this study aims to understand the psychological experience of children in the family and the relationship between parents and children and the growth experience of healing them by comparing and contrasting the two cases of trauma. The foundation for healthy ego-resilience and emotional well-being has been laid through the research results on negative and maladaptive emotional experiences reflected throughout the life of adult women who suffered childhood trauma.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the user experience that provides psychological stability when paying for mobile e-commerce pay one-touch. Through literature and case studies, e-commerce pay one-touch payments were identified, and user experiences were investigated through surveys and in-depth interviews. The survey based on Aaron Walter's model of user needs received a high average of functionality and usability for one-touch payments, but reliability and stability were somewhat low. Afterwards, four design improvement plans were presented to supplement psychological stability by analyzing in-depth interviews conducted based on the User's Eye View of User Experience Design model. This study is expected to be helpful in basic research on the payment experience where you can feel stable when taking one-touch payments.

  • If the spent fuels or the high-level radioactive wastes can be disposed of in the depth of 3~5 km and more stable rock formation, it has several advantages. For example, (1)significant fluid flow through basement rock is prevented, in part, by low permeability, poorly connected transport pathways, and (2)overburden self-sealing. (3)Deep fluids also resist vertical movement because they are density stratified and reducing conditions will sharply limit solubility of most dose-critical radionuclides at the depth. Finally, (4) high ionic strengths of deep fluids will prevent colloidal transport. Therefore, as an alternative disposal concept to the deep geological disposal concept(DGD), very deep borehole disposal(DBD) technology is under consideration in number of countries in terms of its outstanding safety and cost effectiveness. In this paper, for the preliminary applicability analyses of the DBD system for the spent fuels or high level wastes, the DBD concepts which have been developed by some countries according to the rapid advance in the development of drilling technology were reviewed. To do this, the general concept of DBD system was checked and the study cases of foreign countries were described and analyzed. These results will be used as an input for the analyses of applicability for DBD in Korea.

  • We report results of Extended Leak-Off Test (XLOT) conducted in a large diameter borehole, which is drilled for installation of deep borehole geophysical monitoring system to monitor micro-earthquakes and fault behavior of major fault zones in the southeastern Korean Peninsula. The borehole was planned to secure a final diameter of 200 mm (or more) at a depth of ~1 km, with 12" diameter wellbore to intermediate depths, and 7-7/8" (~200 mm) to the bottom hole depth. We drilled first the 12" borehole to approximately 504 m deep and installed American Petroleum Institute standard 8-5/8" casing, then annulus between the casing and bedrock was fully cemented. XLOT was carried out for several purposes such as confirming casing and cementing integrity, measuring rock stress states. To that end, we drilled additional 4 m long open hole interval to directly inject water and pressurize into the rock mass using the upper API casings. During the XLOT, flow rates and interval pressures were recorded in real time. Based on the logs we tried to analyze hydraulic conductivity of the test interval.

  • In this study, we analyze the case of Moon Jae-In's government based on the specific public enterprises. The public companies that were the subject of the study were evaluated as having done a good job of open innovation through open innovation evaluation. In this study, we analyzed the success factors of open innovation through collaborative in - depth interviews with public corporations, public agencies and local farmers. First, it was important to share goals to form a consensus to seek cooperation among the cooperative actors. It is very important to recognize that each other has a mutually beneficial relationship and move toward a common goal. In addition, it was found that the incentive system for continuously participating in collaborations or innovations is very important. Therefore, in order to encourage collaboration, it is necessary for public institutions to establish an incentive system such as personnel compensation or economic compensation.

  • This study aimed to investigate music and imagery (MI) experiences in group settings using a qualitative case study approach. For this purpose, a focus group interview was conducted with four professional music therapists, who participated in peer MI group sessions without a therapist. Data collected from the interview were analyzed by qualitative data analysis procedures. Results demonstrated that successful group music experiences in the early stages, such as sharing and selecting music together within the group or experiencing group support, leaded to developing trust towards music and the group in participants. Moreover, the trust built upon such basis was shown to facilitate expansions in emotional experiences, imageries, relational aspects, and music resources, which led to new personal insights. In addition, the participants recognized the supportive nature of the group played a role of encouraging participants to challenge new experiences during MI experiences. The results suggest that group as a therapeutic factor can promote expansive emotional experiences and insights. Furthermore, the findings may provide implications for music psychotherapy applications in group settings.

  • This study aimed to examine the meaning of adult learners' experience in which they performed a convergence program for the self-confidence improvement of disabled persons with brain lesion who were daycare center users. For the goal, the study collected data through a 5-session profound interview with those disabled persons and then through this author's observation. This study analyzed all the data and, as a result, categorized three significant themes that best represented the above mentioned meaning, which are 'tension of beginning', 'joy of being in company with others' and 'I as the present being'. With those meaningful themes taken into serious consideration. Finally, this study suggested that field programs for social welfare practice in better connection with adult learners' major should be researched and developed.

  • The purpose of this study is to find methods for building the community in poor residential environments. We analyze the public art project, "The Rose of Sharon Blooms," in Daejeon. To understand the project we interviewed artists, curators, local residents, and visitors, about three aspects of public art: visuality, speciality, and communication with citizens. These stakeholder interviews yielded valuable knowledge and insights: First, artworks created from the residents' recycled junk effectively harmonizes and unifies the citizens and their environment. Second, managing a gallery in the neighborhood symbolically values and explicates the public art project and thus enhanced the local identity. Third, public workshops in the neighborhood provide a venue for local citizens to communicate with visitors about the public arts, which eventually led to the welcoming atmosphere of the community. However, we found relatively little awareness of the need for partnership aspects among our interviewees, which suggests the importance of ongoing cooperation with other arts institutions and researchers to build vital cultural linkages and introduce varied art forms.

  • This study is a research that investigated organization of case management practice at a mental health center. For organization research of case management practice, this study applied the research method of Institutional Ethnography, and analyzed 'work knowledge' and 'texts' data which were obtained through field work that lasted 3 months with 11 study participants. The analysis is not interpretation of the researcher, but it is work that assembles 'work knowledge' of field workers until they reach discovering institutions that organize case management practice. As a result of this study, case management practice of the mental health center was being standardized as 'a service that is biased towards symptom management without comprehensive and continual resources links' by new public management theory, bio-medicine discussion, 'standardization policy', 'treatment rate improvement policy', 'performance-based budget system', 'performance evaluation system' and 'continual linkage policy', mediating texts. This is a different outcome from usefulness of case management that is claimed to support politically.
