Objectives : The aim of this study was to compare psychosocial characteristics of the functional gastrointestinal disorders FGID group, non-FGID group, and control group and determine factors affecting the QOL of patients with FGID. Methods : 135 patients diagnosed with FGID were selected. 79 adults had no observable symptoms of FGID (control group) and 88 adults showed symptoms of FGID (non-FGID group). Demographic factors were investigated. The Korean-Beck Depression Inventory-II, Korean-Beck Anxiety Inventory, Korean-Childhood Trauma Questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire-15 and WHO Quality of Life Assessment Instrument Brief Form were used to assess psychosocial factors. A one-way ANOVA was used to compare differences among groups. Pearson correlation test was performed to analyze the correlation of psychosocial factors and QOL of the FGID group. Further, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to determine factors affecting the QOL of the FGID group. Results : Between-group differences were not significant in demographic characteristics. Depression (F=48.75, p<0.001), anxiety (F=14.48, p<0.001), somatization (F=24.42, p<0.001) and childhood trauma (F=12.71, p<0.001) were significantly higher in FGID group than in other groups. Social support (F=39.95, p<0.001) and resilience (F=17.51, p<0.001) were significantly lower in FGID group than in other groups. Resilience (β=0.373, p<0.01) was the most important explanatory variable. The explained variance was 47.2%. Conclusions : Significantly more symptoms of depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and somatization were observed for the FGID group. This group also had less social support, resilience, and quality of life than the non-FGID and control groups. The key factor for quality of life of the FGID group was resilience.
This study is a study to examine and verify the importance of human resources among the various factors that modern companies need to consider in order to cope with the changing environment. As independent variables, acquiescent and defensive silence were composed of the motives felt by members, and creativity and innovation behavior were set as the outcome variables. Through this research, first, the importance of communication between the members of the organization and the manager is investigated, and it is intended to be managed efficiently. Secondly, we would like to confirm the modulating effect of resilience in the relationship between them, and to find out the importance of psychological recovery of members. In the end, this aims to talk about the importance of psychological management and recovery of members in managing human resources. As a result, acquiescent silence negatively affects creativity and innovation behavior, and defensive silence positively affects creativity and innovation behavior. In addition, in the case of the moderating effect of resilience, there was no significant relationship in both defensive silence, creativity, and innovation behavior, and in the case of acquiescent silence, only innovation behavior was found to be significant. This is the result of the combination of the unique characteristics of resilience and the difference in the disposition of the members who choose resignation silence and defensive silence.

This study is to investigate the factors affecting post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms among hospital nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic in Korea. Cross-sectional, descriptive design is used in this study. Data collection was completed through an online self-administered survey from December 2020 to January 2021 among 180 registered nurses dealing with COVID-19 patients at hospitals. This survey includes socio-demographic questions, including a 22-item PTSD questionnaire, a 14-item type D personality questionnaire, a 25-item resilience questionnaire, and a 23-item Social Support Scale questionnaire. 56.1% of the subjects in this study were at risk of PTSD. In the high-risk group for PTSD, resilience and social support were lower than those in the low-risk group for PTSD. But there was no statistically significant difference in both variables (resilience t=0.21, p=.836, social support t=1.07, p=.287). However, education (OR = 2.23, p= .041) and type D personality (OR = 3.67, p < .001) were significant factors for PTSD symptoms. The results of the study can be utilized to recognize PTSD in nurses by identifying factors influencing PTSD during epidemics such as COVID-19, and to apply management systems such as psychological programs to help overcome them.

This study was conducted to find out the psychological or physiological healing effects of real natural forests and virtual forest experiences using virtual reality (VR) in an artificially-controlled digital environment. To find out this, 81 healthy undergraduate students from C University were experimented on visual forest stimulation effects in the digital environment from September 5 to December 9 in 2022. The experiment evaluated the psychological and physiological healing effects of visual forest stimulation in the digital forest environment (2D, 3D). The SRI (stress response inventory) experiment for analyzing psychological effect showed statistically significant differences among groups. As for the SRI experiment for measuring psychological stress, except Control group, 2D group in the digital environment showed little difference before and after the experiment. But 3D group showed less stress than before. As a result, it was proved that visual forest stimulation in a forest-based digital environment (2D, 3D) reduces psychological stress significantly. And when analyzing how visual forest stimulation changes EEG (electroencephalogram) in the digital environment, alpha waves (RA), which are activated during relaxation or stabilization, were more active than beta waves (RB), which are activated during tension or awakening. This study is expected to be used to create a psychological and physiological healing environment for those who cannot go to a natural forest due to mobility difficulties by providing them visual forest stimulation experiences in a digital environment. It is also expected that the results will be the basis for forest healing in the digital environment and virtual reality programs will help forest healing activities.

We have classified potential and high risk user group as internet addiction risk group according to the criteria of Korean Internet Addiction Proneness Scale(K Scale). Based on the results of k-scale from the adolescents in metropolitan area from May to July 2013, 25 people were selected as Internet addiction risk group. We have randomized 13 participants joining forest therapy camp and 12 participants not joining one, and analyzed the change of the two groups with Continuous Performance, Kimberly S. Young, Connor-Davidson Resilience, Relationship Change Scale, heart rate variability and cortisol. Statistically significant changes were observedd in neuro-cognitive, psychosocial, and physiological variables, Through this study, we can consider that the therapy healing may relieve the level of internet addiction and can be an alternative to control emotional stability and impulsive behavior.
