This study was conducted to examine the influence of the psychological health of the released offenders on their adaptation to community. Researchers analyzed the survey data of 216 participants who received joint marriage support from the Korea Legal Protection and Welfare Corporation. The results showed that the education level, marriage status, and monthly income were having a positive influence on the community adaptation of the released offenders, and the higher the depression and inter-personality among the risk factors of psychological health, the more negative the community adaptation. A higher sense of self-esteem, a psychological health protection factor, has a positive effect on community adaptation while reducing the influence of risk factors, depression and inter-personality. In sum, high self-esteem can contribute to increasing social life satisfaction after release from prison, promote risk factors to positive life changes, suppress negative situations and increase the possibility of successful community adaptation. Although this study confirmed that self-esteem is the most important factor among psychological factors for successful community adaptation of inmates, it will require relevant follow-up research and multi-disciplinary support because psychological factors alone cannot solve the problem.

This study examined the effect of sociocultural attitudes toward the appearance of depression and psychological well-being of fitness in adult women. The subjects of this study consisted of 472 healthy adult woman. The used instruments were Jung (2011) for measuring the sociocultural attitudes toward appearance scale, Seo (2006) for measuring the depression scale, and Yang (2000) for measuring the psychological well-being scale. The data was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, among the subscales of sociocultural attitudes toward appearance, stress positively influenced depression. Second, among the subscales of sociocultural attitudes toward appearance, internalization-general negatively influenced hedonic enjoyment, self-realization, and a feeling of flow, but information positively influenced it. In addition, internalization-athlete positively influenced the feeling of competence, self-realization. Third, depression negatively influenced hedonic enjoyment, self-realization, and the feeling of flow.

The purposes of this study were: (a) to examine the relationship between parental/occupational role reconstruction and psychological well-being in middle and old age, (b) to investigate the psychological factors to affect parental/occupational roles reconstruction. The role reconstruction was measured as the extent to obsess with parental and occupational role in transition. Mail survey was conducted on 378 Japanese married men and women in ages between 50 and 69. As results, the hypothetical pathway was identified in women as follows. The obsession with parental and occupational roles raised parental and occupational role loss anxiety. And both of role loss anxiety lower psychological well-being. For men, obsessed with the occupational role was significantly influenced by autonomy, gender role attitude, social support network. For women, gender role attitude significantly influenced on occupational and parental role obsession, and social support networks had significant impact on parental role obsession. Results of this study were discussed in terms of the importance of role reconstruction in middle and old age, gender difference in role reconstruction according to gender role socialization.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라도 초 고령화시대가 도래 하고 있다. 80세의 평균수명이 100세 까지 늘어나면서 인생을 바라보는 관점이 달라지고 있다. 평생직장이 아닌 평생 직업으로 바뀌면서 정년 후 무엇을 하며 어떻게 살아갈 것인가. 경찰관 역시 후반전 인생설계를 하지 않을 수가 없다. 그러나 실상은 격무에 시달리고 퇴직 준비를 제대로 못하며 임무가 산적된 경우가 경찰관의 다반사가 현 실태이다. 그러면 이와 관련된 창업의 전 단계를 알아보자"퇴직예정 경찰관에게 심리적 특성요소들이 창업의지에 미치는 영향"과 -경력지향성의 조절효과 중심으로, 이에 부합되도록 예비창업가의 심리적 특성요인에 변수 요소를 찾아보면 사회적지향성, 성취욕구, 위험감수성, 자기 효능감, 창의성의 5가지 독립요소로 정리하고 창업의지를 종속 변수로 하여서 이들 간에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 여부를 확인하고 마찬가지로 예비창업자 경력과 창업의지와 관계를 알아보며 경력지향성에 포함되는 요소들 관리, 사업, 안정, 기술, 자율지향성은 퇴직경찰관의 심리적 특성요인과 창업의지에 조절변수 요소들로 상관관계들을 검토해보기 위해서 연구모형과 가설을 세워본다. 또한 이를 위하여 검증단계로 현직경찰관 154명에 대한 설문지를 발송하였으며 접수가 완료되면 검증을 실시하기 위해 통계분석 처리를 할 예정이다. 첫째. 예비창업자의 개인적 특성으로 구성하는 요소들은 사회적지향성, 성취욕구, 위험감수성, 자기 유능감 창의성은 창업의지와 (+)정의 관계로 창업의지에 영향이 미칠 것이다. 둘째. 예비창업자의 경력이 창업의지와 (+)정의 관계로 창업의지에 영향이 미칠 것이다. 셋째. 예비창업자 경력 지향성에는 관리지향성 사업지향성 자율지향성 기술지향성 안정지향성은 심리적 특성과 창업의지에 조절효과로 정(+)의 관계로 영향을 미칠 것이다.

This article examines psychological factors that contribute to educational achievement of Korean adolescents. By reviewing empirical research, three core areas are outlined. First, positive and negative roles that Korean society play on academic achievement are analyzed. Compared to other countries, Korean society places a high premium, pressure an investment on educational achievement. This has contributed to the rapid economic growth and development, but at the same time it has created numerous social problems. Second, psychological and relational dynamics of investing in and achieving success in education are delineated. Through indigenous psychological analysis, the role parents play in motivating and regulating their children to succeed academically is reviewed. In addition, the role of teachers and friends and the coordinated efforts of Korean society are outlined. Third, future directions and transformations in education that are needed in Korean society are discussed. Although Korean adolescents are high achievers in high school, this is not the case at the university level. Since Korean students are interested in entering a prestigious university, they have developed skills in doing well in standardized tests. Educational reforms need to take into consideration individuals' personal interests, skills and creativity to ensure that the knowledge that they acquired can be used to further their career and improve their subjective well-being. Educational transformation does not imply simply adopting Western models, but developing indigenous models that can maximize human and cultural potential and stimulate curiosity, diversity and creativity that are necessary in the global era.

기업 뿐 아니라 사회의 개별 구성원에게 있어서도 컴퓨터 통신 기술의 활용이 급속히 확산됨에 따라 이러한 가상 공간상에서의 활동에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 특히, 가상사회에서의 상거래를 다루는 전자상거래에 대한 연구는 기업과 기업간 전자상거래에 대한 연구를 넘어 기업과 고객간의 전자상거래에 대한 연구로 확대되고 있다. 그러나 전자상거래를 이용하는 소비자에 대한 연구와 이해는 아직도 여러 가치 측면에서 매우 미흡한 실정에 있다. 실물 공간에서의 소비자에 대한 마케팅 분야에서의 연구가 새로운 거래 패러다임인 전자상거래에 대한 설명으로 확대될 수 있는 범위와 논리도 아직 충분하지 않으며, 소비자이며 동시에 기술 사용자라는 특성이 어떻게 통합될 수 있는지에 대한 연구도 미흡한 실정이다. 전자상거래를 추진하고 있는 사업자에게 있어서는 가상사회의 이용자에 대한 심도 있는 분석과 이해가 필수적인 요건이 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 가상사회에서의 기술 이용자의 개인적인 심리적 특성이 매체와 기술의 이용패턴과 어떤 관련성을 가지고 있는지를 분석함으로써 가상사회 구성원의 행태적 특성을 파악해 보고자 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the elderly long-term care workers' job stress on psychological burnout and organizational effectiveness and the moderating role of social support. For this study, data were collected from 290 long-term caregivers from 50 in-home visitation care facilities in Seoul using structured questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using hierarchical regression techniques. Results showed that role three job stress variables had positive effects on caregivers' psychological burnout; that two job stress variables(role ambiguity and role conflict) and psycholigcal burnout had negaive effects on caregivers' job satisfaction whereas they had positive effects on caregivers' intent to leave; that workload negatively impacted caregivers' job satisfaction but no effect on their intent to leave; and that two social support variables played moderating roles in the relationship between job stress and psychological burnout and the relationship between job stress and organizational effectiveness.

This study is conducted in the form of purposive sampling among 215 social workers working in social welfare and living facilities located in the metropolitan area. The purpose of this study is to understand how organizational commitment and psychological empowerment affects job satisfaction and investigate the mediating effect of psychological empowerment when it comes to the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction. In this study, it is observed that there is a significant impact of psychological empowerment on job satisfaction. The higher the level of psychological empowerment is, social workers tend to have a higher level of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The result of investigation on mediating effect supports a mediating effect of psychological empowerment on the relationship between emotional/continuance/normative commitment and job satisfaction. In addition, the self-authority appears to have a mediating effect on the relationship between emotional/continuance/normative commitment and job satisfaction. Finally, competence also has a mediating effect on the relationship. The result supports the significant effect of the four hypotheses presented in this study. The result of this study implies that social workers' psychological empowerment has a positive effect on their organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Therefore, it can be used by an organization as an effective management technique.

The purpose of this study was to find out correlation and predictors of posttraumatic growth of North Korean refugees in South Korea in 7years. This survey was conducted on 105 North Korean refugees in 7 years with questions on depression, anxiety, socio-demographic characteristics, personal & social variables, psychological trauma in North Korea, stress experience in South Korea. The influence of these variables was analysed. Result indicated that education in North Korea and living period in the 3rd country iwas associated with PTG. Date for escaping from North Korea, depression, acculturative stress in South Korea, hope for future, social support from South Korean, perceived satisfaction had correlation with PTG. And Date for escaping from North Korea, living period in the 3rd country, social support from South Korean, acculturative stress in South Korea predicted PTG of North Korean refugees. Finally, social political intervention and mental health service programs for North Korean refugees were discussed.
