  • 'Experiments in Art and Technology' Group was established in the mid-20th century, and then developed the larger interdisciplinary experiments into the range of art world and its outside field. The motive power of group's activities was the collaboration between artists and engineers traversing the boundary between old different disciplinary conventions. E.A.T was officially launched in 1967 by the engineers Billy $Kl{\ddot{u}}ver$ and Fred Waldhauer and the artists Robert Raushenberg and Robert Whitman. They performed various possibility of material, technology, and engineering available to contemporary art. By reflecting the function of art and technology in society, eventually they developed the methodology of new aesthetics which had organic relationship with contemporary world. In this sense, this research have its academic significance. This paper firstly examined the socio-cultural context of emerging the E.A.T. group as a representative model for convergent practice, and verified the fact that the collaboration between artists and engineers had produced the expansion of artistic expression as well as new relationship among art, engineering, and society by considering E.A.T's various projects. Therefore, I will refer the E.A.T. group as an exemplary model for concrete method of collaboration that contemporary discourses about convergence need.

  • The rapid change of the culture and art environment is led to new art & cultural education and differences in culture and art education facilities, away from the traditional closed space culture and art education. Phenomena such as plays out of the theater, exhibitions out of the art museum, and pictures taking a walk indicate that cultural and artistic educational facilities can no longer stay in the existing paradigm and are changing along with the changes in the cultural and creative world. Therefore, to develop a site-specific theater education program centered around a specific place rather than a theater or studio, in line with the changing times of cultural and artistic educational facilities, this researcher analyzes Brecht's radio play experiment and the recent performative performance experiment. Furthermore, using the regional and community values of arts and culture education confirmed as the motive for research on site-specific theater programs, I analyze the implementation and application process by experimenting with theater programs out of the theaters and studios. As a prior study, research on site-specific performances is being conducted relatively actively, but earlier studies were dealing only with the Ligna group performance cases are lacking. However, I would like to use the previous research on site-specific performance cases as an epistemological background. As a result of the study, for the place-specific theater program through a total of 10 learners, a text based on a specific place was created that did not depend on traditional literary texts. Through this, the possibility of a site-specific theater education program could be confirmed.

To summarize the performance of the study, it is as follows. The subjects of the study were 50 students(25 experimental group, 25 control group) in Performing Arts, Entertainment and Music department of D University located at Gyeonggi, Korea. As a result of analyzing the difference between the pre-test and the post-test between the experimental group and the control group, it was found that there was a statistically significant effect on the effectiveness of the arts education method using the metaverse of the control group. It is hoped that the results of this study will be a case study that cannot be overlooked in the development of the today's arts educational medium as well as the virtual world in the field of arts and in cultural technology research, arts education is no longer a latecomer, but a leading pioneer and main agent, and I hope that it will become a new perspective for various studies connected with industry like the WAVE.

  • Recently performing arts pursue a new rootage of the collective intelligence that seeks experimental thinking and diversity in creative convergence. Understanding in this way the concept of artist's horizontal creation structure and individual communication of the public, this study tries to analyze ${\ll}God's\;Eye\;View{\gg}$, an example of convergent performing art. The result of analysis is as follows. The convergence in performing art could be approached through experiential thinking and diachronic of artists by genre, and the interpretation and its value of the result of work be shared horizontally. ${\ll}God's\;Eye\;View{\gg}$ express a dynamic communication and meaning of poetic image, and shows the experimental creation of convergence and the individual communication ability of collective intelligence as a new value of convergence.

This research attempted practical approach by expanding to public spaces rather than being limited to artistic section. For one of the case, the mural of Jurye Girl's Middle School located in Busan was selected. As a result, the mural that included culture discovered that mural matches well with city's public environment. We conducted survey. 107 participants was randomly selected as students and neighbors in Jure girl's middle school. The results of it reveals that environmentally friendly tendency and cultural implication are relatively higher than others. Mural arts have been focused as space where people live along with the progress of civilization and development of our society. It is important how the relationship between modern public environment space and mural arts shall harmonize. This research proposes social values that can replace the special mood by adding vitalization and liveliness to public environment through various mural contents.

  • Among the properties of new media art works, interaction with audience has now become a big issue, and its influence to general arts, in particular media art, is being stressed more and more. Under the this influence, various experimental works using digital media are being produced and having a try to combination of art and multimedia technology on the network. This paper analyses studies about netart and suggests visualization expression of color data to be interactive between users and art works. The work is to make formative elements based fluid shapes on the analysis of color data extracted from images. This is a new experiment in picturesque expression of data and aesthetic visualization of data.
