A Study on Decision Factors Affecting Utilization of Elderly Welfare Center: Focus on Gimpo City (노인복지관 이용 결정요인에 관한 연구: 김포시 노인을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to learn about the decision factors affecting utilization of elderly welfare center of the elderly living in Gimpo city. The reason of the study is that the elderly welfare center as a provider of general welfare services could not only thinking about the state policy but also need to consider about the inherent role and function of the elderly. Especially for these elders living in rural areas, although the number of elderly welfare centers of the whole country has greatly increased in last 10 years, the effect and function of the facility are almost the same and they are still lack of leisure activities. This issue become a serious problem nowadays. For the above reasons, this article conducts a social survey of 360 elderly people over the age of 65 who lives in the Gimpo city which is a rural-urban type city. The research method is to examine the relationship between the predisposing factors, enabling factors and need factors of Andersen's behavior model with binary logistic regression analysis and the decision tree analysis. The result of binary logistic regression shows the most of factors of Andersen's model is significant. The factors of age, gender, education level in predisposing factors; monthly income in enabling factors and the reserve for old life, the preparation of economic activity for old life in need factors are significant. Then the result of decision tree analysis shows the interaction between factors; when the education level in predisposing factors is higher, the possibility of using of elderly welfare center becomes bigger. Also as the level of healthy promoting preparation in the need factors gets lower, the possibility of using of elderly welfare center still becomes bigger. Although differences were found in the interpretation of the results of regression analysis and decision tree analysis, the results of this study can still provide support for the necessity of elderly welfare centers providing integrated welfare services.

Life Satisfaction of Older Adults using Hierarchical Model Analysis focused on Individual and Community Factors (다층모형을 활용한 노인의 삶의 만족도 분석: 개인적 요인과 지역적 요인의 특성을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to observe the effect of age friendliness of cities on life satisfaction and to suggest ways to improve quality of life of older people. The secondary data sets were used in this study, which were '2014 Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Korean Older People.' It's a nationwide data collected by the Korean Institute of Health and Social Affairs. A multilevel analysis model was used to analyze the data because the level of age friendliness has a hierarchical data structure. Results showed as follows: First, life satisfaction of older adults is affected by the level of age-friendliness of cities in which they live. Second, on the personal level, older people showed low life satisfaction when they are more older and have more chronic diseases and more depressed. On the contrary, life satisfaction of older adults increased when they have higher education and income. Third, on the city level, older people showed higher life satisfaction when they live in high employment rate area and participation rate of lifelong education. Cautions should be placed when interpret the result because the variables that represent the characteristics of age friendless of cities were constituted arbitrary. Based on the results, suggestions for improving the city environment age-friendly and implications for social welfare practice were provided.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the issues of school arts & culture education policy in Korea, using the four dimensional model of Cooper, Fusarelli, & Randall(2004). Research method is literature analysis, the accumulated policy documents and academic papers were used as the basis data. As a result, the followings are required for effective policy outcome: From the normative dimension, overcoming the pursuit of national growth ideology and bureaucratic rationality; from the structural dimension, securing of practical forms and content through the reform to the teacher mandate system in curriculum operation; from the constituentive dimension, clear division of roles among members through the change of awareness about arts & culture education; and finally from the technical dimension, rational allocation of resources based on firm educational criteria. Building upon the results, promotion of basic academic research, accepting the opinions of arts & culture education parties concerned, expansion of opportunities for cultural art experience of teachers, building up the integrated arts & culture education teacher training system, the reorganization of the teacher training system, and raising the professionalism of teaching artists.

The Longitudinal study on the Impact of Innovative Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment (제조업 기업의 혁신적 조직문화가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 종단 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of worker's innovative organizational culture on organizational commitment in companies. The research data were used from the fourth year (2011) to the seventh year (2017) of the HCCP (Human Capital Corporate Panel), and 207 companies were subject to the final analysis except for missing values. To statistically validate the research model, we utilize the SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs to perform Latent Growth Modeling analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, both the innovative organizational culture and organizational commitment of companies have been shown to continue to decline over time. Second, the initial value of innovative organizational culture has been shown to have a significant impact on the initial value of organizational commitment. On the other hand, the initial value of innovative organizational culture has no significant effect on the rate of change in organizational commitment. Third, the rate of change in innovative organizational culture has been shown to have a significant impact on the rate of change in organizational commitment. Based on these findings, we present practical measures to enhance the importance of innovative organizational culture along with its implications.

The Development and Application of Teaching-Learning Process Plans for Raising Awareness of the Secondary School Student's LOHAS(Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) - Focused on the unit of 'the choice and maintenance of clothing' in Technology-Home Economics - (중학생의 로하스 의식 함양을 위한 교수.학습 과정안 개발 및 적용 - 기술.가정 '의복의 선택과 관리' 단원을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to raise the awareness of LOHAS(Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) in the secondary school students. We extracted the related contents to LOHAS from the unit of 'The choice and maintenance of clothing' in the second-year's textbook of Technology-Home Economics, and selected the learning subjects. We also developed the new teaching-learning process plan on practical problem focused lesson, and applied them to the eight classes located in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, for 5 hours per each class. The learning subjects of the teaching-learning process plan included five items as followings; general awareness, organic fashion, natural fabric, recycled material fashion, and natural dyeing, which were related to LOHAS consumption. The overall topic of the teaching-learning process plan was 'What should do to raise the awareness of LOHAS in order to practice LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing'. Consequently, the results were abtained as follow; The general awareness of LOHAS as well as the awareness of LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing increased after classes significantly, compared to those before. Thirty-four materials including worksheets, reading materials and teacher's guide could help to raise the awareness of LOHAS. Also these classes enabled the students to raise their awareness of LOHAS, to improve their opinions and attitudes on LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing, and to take an interest in the lesson of Home-Economics. This study might have the educational significance in that it made the students directly participate in the national and social trend of the awareness of LOHAS, and upgrade their quality as good LOHAS consumers. Also further teaching-learning process plan in Home-Economics are necessary to promote the awareness of LOHAS for better health, environment, and society.

Electricity Demand in the Korean Households-A Technology/Sustainable Option- (우리 나라 가정부문 전력수요에 관한 연구-기술개발/지속적 개발 시나리오)

  • 본 고는 지속적 개발 론에 입각한 적극적인 에너지수요 관리정책을 추진한다는 전제하에 2001년과 2006년의 우리 나라 가정부문 전력수요를 전망하고자 한다. 본 고는 지속적 개발 시나리오를 추정함에 있어서 기존의 계량모형보다 일종의 공학적 모형인 공정분석(process analysis)을 선호한다. 계량모형이 주로 과거 수요의 소득 및 가격 탄성 치를 바탕으로 미래의 수요를 예측하는데 비하여 공정분석모형은 기술발전에 따른 미래의 효율변화(향상)를 비교적 잘 반영할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 고는 덴마크공과대학교 Norgard 교수팀이 개발한 모형을 도입하여 분석모형(수식 (6))을 전력수요 = 기기 수 $\times$ 전력서비스$\times$ 전력집약도와 같이 설정하고 이를 사용하여 냉장고, 텔레비전, 조명 기기, 난방기기 등과 같은 전력사용 기기 별로 2001년과 2006년이 전력수요를 전망하였다. 본 고는 전력수요를 전력사용 기기의 사용용량(300리터 용량의 냉장고 등)과 사용시간을 나타내는 전력서비스와 전력 서비스당 필요 전력사용량을 나타내는 전력집약도로 나누어 구분하고 있는 모형을 이용함으로써 소득향상효과와 함께 기술발전에 따른 효율개선효과를 분석할 수 있다. 1) 생활수준 향상에 따라 전력서비스는 지금과 같이 증가한다, 2) 현실적으로 가능한 범위 내에서 전력사용 기기에 대한 최저 에너지 효율 제를 실시한다, 3) 현재 사용중인 기기 들은 원칙적으로 수명이 다한 후 고효율 기기 들로 자연 교체한다, 4) 최저 에너지 효율 제를 제외한 다른 제도 및 정책개선, 사용자의 에너지소비형태 개선에 따른 절전 잠재 량을 고려하지 않는다 등의 가정 하에 전력수요를 추정한 결과 1992년에 796 GWh(100)이었던 우리 나라 가정부문 전력수요는 2001년과 2006년에 29,237 GWh(134)와 33,118 GWh(152)로 각각 34%와 52%증가할 것으로 나타났다. 이 경우 1992년부터 2006년까지 가정용 전력수요 증가율은 연평균 3%로 추정된다. 기기의 서비스(가구수$\times$기기의 보급 율$\times$기기의 전력서비스)가 소득향상에 따라 증가하는데도 불구하고 전력수요의 증가율이 GDP(같은 기간 동안 연평균 증가율 5.7%)보다 매우 낮은 것은 기기의 대형화와 기기의 보급을 증가에 따른 전력의 추가수요가 기기의 에너지효율 개선으로 대부분 상쇄될 것이기 때문이다. 향후 10년 내에 기기에 따라 전력사용량을 25%~50%정도까지 줄일 수 있을 것으로 분석된다. 기술발전에 따른 기기의 에너지효율 개선효과는 본 고의 2006년도 가정용 전력수요의 전망치 33,118 GWh가 기존방식에 의한 한전의 전망치 61,155 GWh의 54%수준밖에 되지 않는데 서도 잘 나타나고 있다. 한편 본 고는 경제성장과 환경보존을 동시에 달성할 수 있는 지속적 개발의 실천방안으로서 에너지 수요관리를 논하고자 한다. 고효율 기기의 개발과 조기도입을 촉진시키는 에너지 수요관리 통하여 우리는 에너지효율을 대폭 개선시키며 대기오염 배출량도 대폭 줄일 수 있다. 본 고는 에너지 공급관리(공급확충)위주에서 에너지 수요관리위주로서의 에너지정책 전환은 불가피하다고 판단한다. 에너지 공급시스템보다 에너지 수요시스템위주로 전체 에너지시스템을 획기적으로 개선시키기 위해서는 최저 에너지효율제의 광범위한 실시와 함께 고효율 기기의 개발과 보급에 필요한 유인책의 도입, 고효율 기기와 에너지의 효율적 이용에 대한 정보 등이 필요시 되고 있다. 우리 나라의 경우 현재의 산업구조와 기술수준을 고려하여 에너지 효율의 기준을 미국보다 다소 낮게 설정한다면 최저 에너지효율제의 도입이 문제가 되지 않을 것으로 판단된다. 본 고는 고효율 기기의 개발과 조기도입을 지원하기 위한 가칭 대기환경보존 및 에너지 수요관리기금의 창설을 제안한다. 전력부문의 경우 기금은 1. 탄소세, 2. 전력소비에 대한 수요 관리 세의 도입 혹은 3. 한국전력공사 전력판매수입의 일정 분으로 조성될 수 있을 것으로 본다. 예를 들어 선진국들이 탄소세를 예정대로 도입한다는 전제하에 우리 나라가 2000년을 기준으로 탄소 톤당 8달러(석유 배럴 당 85센트)의 탄소세를 도입한다면 연간 7억 2,000만 달러(약5,760억 원)규모의 기금을 조성할 수 있다. 이 중 연간 2,000억 원 정도를 고효율 기기의 개발과 조기도입에 지원한다면 우리 나라 에너지 시스템 효율은 대폭 개선될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

A Study on the Frame Model of Christian Citizenship Competency Education for Improving Communication Competency (소통역량 함양을 위한 기독시민역량교육 프레임 모형 연구)

  • Without overcoming the fragmented characteristics of the postmodern era and solving many difficulties as it is, our society is passing through a time of crisis more than ever because of Corona 19, a more rapid social disaster. As the crisis caused by the pandemic is prolonged, our society is becoming more diverse than before the coronavirus, and efforts in various fields of society are required to cultivate new capabilities to overcome social conflicts. This study started with an awareness of the necessity of reinforcing Christian civic education to fulfill the public responsibilities of Christians by recognizing the social and situational problems of this era as a public task amid in the crisis and change of the pendemic. Therefore, a meaningful work was undertaken to find an educational ministry practice frame for essential core competencies and transformative transformation competencies responding to changes in the times as education to cultivate and reinforce competencies as Christian citizens. First, the theoretical basis for competency education for Christian citizens was reviewed through the theological and Christian education theories that were studied in the situation of public theology about the public perception and social responsibility of Christians on the issues of the times. Furthermore, through this study, education to establish and cultivate the public identity of disciples-citizens as a Introductory education is explored in a multifaceted method of educational ministry, and educational methods were searched for cultivating communication competencies of Christian citizens with practical capacity of public faith. In conclusion, through this study, an educational ministry frame of identity cultivation, the core competency of recognizing the position of the public mission as a Christian citizen while living as a disciple of God's kingdom in the world and an educational frame to cultivate the ability to communicate as a transformative Christian citizen's transformative competency to carry out public tasks was systematically established, and an educational ministry convergence frame was proposed for cultivating core competencies and transformation competencies for Christian citizenship education.

A Study on Korean Dual System: K-Dual System (한국형 듀얼 시스템(K-Dual 시스템)의 구축 및 운영방안에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new Korean Dual system, K-Dual System, and discussed the concepts and details about three sub-models of the system, IPP, W3 and corporate university models. Propose K-Dual system is a new and unique educational model that combines academic study and industrial work in order to solve the various problems of existing work-study parallel educational systems in Korea. K-Dual System has two tracks, Academic and Vocational tracks. Academic track has a long-term field experience training program, IPP program. On the other hands, Vocational track can be divided into two sub-models and those are $W^3$ and corporate university. Finally, we summarized several key points for the successful setup and operation of K-Dual system.

A Web-based Environmental Education System for Elementary School Students (초등학생을 위한 웹기반 환경교육 시스템)

  • Environmental problems can be dealt in the diverse areas such as engineering, public administration, and law. However, the education on environmental preservation is conceived as the fundamental solution for environmental problems, because the education can make the person of action. Specifically, building the attitude and habit of environmental preservation through environmental education is the effective and efficient way of environmental preservation. This research was conducted to develop an education system that is designed to build students' attitude and habit of environmental preservation through acquiring knowledge and functions of natural environment. The proposed system supports diverse learning activities such as writing, drawing, listening natural sounds and music, and problem solving. The system is technically designed on the Web to promote students' creativity and autonomy, and also are theoretically based on constructivism to build the will of environmental preservation. Moreover, the proposed Web-based system includes diverse functions such as classes, material resources, environmental quiz pool, environmental work gallery, which motivate students' learning activities. Therefore the proposed Web-based system is expected as an effective tool to achieve the goals of environmental education such as acquiring environmental knowledge and functions, building attitude of environmental preservation, and participating in the environmental preservation activities.

The Relationship between Adult Interpersonal Traumatic Experience and Posttraumatic Growth : The Multiple Mediating Effect of Optimism and Quality of Relationship (성인의 대인외상경험과 외상 후 성장의 관계 : 낙관성과 관계의 질의 다중매개효과)

  • This study is to research the mediating effects of optimism and quality of relationship which interpersonal traumatic experience influences posttraumatic growth. It focuss on verifying the impact of interpersonal traumatic experience to optimism and quality of relationship and the influence of optimism and quality of relationship to posttraumatic growth. And also it is to verify dual mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey instrument completed by 405 interpersonal traumatic experience, 30-60 age group. Collected data were analysed by AMOS program, Structure Equation Model(SEM) was implemented to verify the mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Finally, Phantom Variable was utilized for verification of indirect influence of a multi mediating effects. The findings of this study were as follows, First, the result shows that the higher level interpersonal traumatic experience, the higher posttraumatic growth they have. Second, it shows that optimism and quality of relationship have partial mediating effect between interpersonal traumatic experience and posttraumatic growth. Third, it was analyzed that optimism and quality of relationship had double mediating effect. Based on these findings, the research discussion reinforced the importance of intervene with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma. Theological, political and practical implications of this study are as follows. First, it has a series of significance in terms of that this study confirmed its influence considering the quality of relationship from interpersonal experience among relevant factors of traumatic accident, optimism among individual factors, quality of relationship among environmental factors based on 'the crisis of life and the theory of individual growth'. econd, even though optimism and quality of relationship were proved as major predictors for posttraumatic growth of those who experience interpersonal traumatic, psychological support center for traumatic experience is not operated systematically in Korea. Third, this study implies that it should intervene mainly with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma such as any abuses including sexual abuse, bullying, and divorce.
