편복도형 아파트 주거환경개선을 위한 기초적 연구 - 단위주호 중심으로- (Remodeling of Stairways Apartment House)

  • In the Korean construction market the housing exceeds more than 60% among the entire objects for remodelling. And among the 50% of the common residence that needs remodelling, half of them are common houses with hallways. In respect of remodelling the common houses with hallways to those with stairways, This investigation aims at not only increasing the area by simply enlarging it, but also elevating the residential value by improving the environment based on the study of the existing plane with stairways. In order to do so, the satisfaction rate after living in common residence either with stairways or with hallways according to size (10, 20, 30 pyong), public space and interior environment is investigated through questionnaire. Therefore, this study tries to discover and analyze the positive and negative aspects of common residence with hallways.

  • This study intends to analyze the various spatial structures of the Seoul city museum with reference to the layouts and the qualitative mode of exhibition items. Understanding the way of actual exhibition design can be a clue to understand the contents of exhibition story which guarantees to make the pertinent space and visitors route organization between different levels of architectural space and exhibition space. The basic methodological ideas of this study are as follows; 1) Systematic analysis about the characteristics of exhibits, historic context, and hierachy of each thematic zone. 2) Analysis of physical combination of object spatial cell in the view of visitors circulatiov.   • The basic concept for the remodelling of the youthhostel H is to define a rest through the remodelling design. The notion of a rest can be explained better in Chinese character. '休', which means a rest, is the Chinese character that unites two different meanings, the man and the tree or the nature. The intrinsic meaning of a rest,'a man taking a rest under the tree', is applied to the design concept that implies the mutual relationship between the man, the nature and the youthhostel. The design idea for the main areas such as the lobby, the reception, the front, the multi-purposed restaurant and the functionally designed rooms targets the harmony of the aesthetic and the functionality. The diverse space experience which steers the hotel visitors to the reciprocal interrelationship, the exchange of various informations, the comfortable relaxing and the motivation makes it possible to perceive a youthhostel as a space for the various intercourse and the emotional experiences.

성격 유형과 주거평가 및 리모델링 선호특성에 관한 연구( I ) (A Study on Residential Evaluation & Remodeling Preference Characteristics with the Personality Type( I ))

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the personality type and the residential evaluation & remodeling preference. The subjects of this investigation were collected through questionnaire from two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. The collected cases are analyzed by using statistics software spss-win. The personality is classified eight types; E(extraversion), I(introversion), S(sensing), N(intuition), T(thinking), F(feeling), J(judging) and P(perceiving) in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). By using the rotated component matrix of varimax method, the satisfaction of the actual residential conditions is classified into seven grouping factors. The preference of interior image is classified into thirteen factors. The important living patterns - activity, interest, and opinion - are classified into ten factors. And the important needs of residential remodeling are classified into twelve factors. By using the one way anova method, between these forty two grouping factors and personality type MBTI, there are analyzed several significances that will be useful in residential design and remodeling design & planning

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the remodeling of apartments according to the area type and size in order to provide some information for the future plans for more consumer-friendly dwelling units. To achieve this goal, quantitative data analyses was employed. The sample was a total of 100 apartments analysed on apartments remodeling. The data were analyzed by SPSS WIN program package in terms of frequency, percentage, and x 2-test on the actual remodeling behaviors according to the area type and size of apartments. For the future research case studies recommended small, medium, and large sizes of apartments respectively through interviews, actual surveys, and questionnaires on remodeling behavior, interior design, and interior atmosphere according to the area type and size of apartments.

  • Recent time, there appear many cases of remodeling construction concluding enlargement of exclusive using area in Apartment. These constructions show several phases according to the size of apartment and use of the each room. In small size apartment the cause of enlargement construction is usually the desire for having enough dwelling space. But in large size apartment that is usually the desire for having usuful and effective dwelling space. In these remodeling constructions owner or designer change the interior design of each rooms and the Intoner materials. These changes show several tendencies by the sizes of apartments and use of the each room.

  • There are lots of buildings which were built before the Legislation on building energy rating system. Remodeling of the buildings would be required for an improvement of the building energy rating system was enforced by the government. In the Passive Building Design, Elements which will be used for the remodeling are Insulation, Window, External venetian blind, Heat exchanger. The Purpose of this study is to indicate a Method for the improvement of Energy saving by an analysis of Construction Cost, Cost Evaluation, Energy performance Efficiency in applied design elements. In this study, the remodeling of existing public buildings to improve energy efficiency rating was applied to extract the elements of design-specific energy performance, efficiency, and the application of the designs that has been analyzed. The results were as follows: applying the design-specific cost-effective investment that represents the economy (investment efficiency/%) surveyed the average insulation(7.0%), triple glazed windows(10.1%), double glazed windows(12.1%), external shading(24.5%), and Heat(77.2%) were analyzed in order to be more efficient. Analysis of the basis of information on the existing public buildings to improve energy efficiency rating for the remodeling depending on driving conditions at a degree of individual difference. The main effect, however, depending on economic investment, design elements, heat exchangers, external awning, double glazed windows, triple glazed windows, insulation, is recommended as review of the order shall be determined.

리모델링시 학교시설의 친환경건축물 인증요소 비교분석 연구 (A Study on the Comparative Analysis of the Green Building Certification Criteria for Schools in remodeling)

  • This study is purposed on applying to certifying environmental-friendly buildings about remodeling schools as an issue recently, keeping up a worldwide resource conservation movement. Application standard is directed, comparing with systems certifying green-schools in domestic and foreign policies. The following is the primary result of this study. First, on developing systems for certifying environmental-friendly buildings about remodeling schools, characteristics like ‘the phase of certifying essential lists and the diversity of certifying lists’, ‘developing departmentally into new-building, reconstruction, remodeling, existing-building in basic data’, ‘development of certifying existing-buildings as well as new-building’ in foreign systems should be developed appropriately for Korea. Next, not only reuse of the existing facilities but better assessment through diversification of classified contents in domestic system are carried out in comparing remodeling lists. Especially the primary list that is found out commonly limited lists certifying remodeling should be developed appropriately. Impossible lists getting certification should be applied to map out a concrete standard. Lastly, the range of certification should be diversified and developed sustainable like other systems for better assessment. Adding various lists suiting for Korea and departmentalizing score of phases and items in particular, for avoiding a needless collision between certification lists, absence of them. Above of all, basic direction about certifying environmental-friendly buildings about remodeling schools should be developed the only individual instrument, not for gaining it simply as a part of the environmental policy in Korea. This study has significance on vitalization of certifying environmental-friendly buildings, which performing primary environmental-friendly education facilities, based on its advance.

종합병원 설비집약적인 부문의 리모델링 방안에 관한 연구 - 중앙진료부와 공급부를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Remodeling Strategy for the Equipment Intensive Areas of General Hospitals - Focused on the Diagnosis/Treatment Areas, the Supply Areas -)

  • If remodeling is defined as activities that restore the overall function of a building up to the standards currently demanded rather than as a simple replacement or repair of old facilities and equipment, the main task of remodeling should be the reduction in differences between areas, establishment of a functional linkage between departments and setup of a smooth circulation system. Therefore, this study is an analysis of remodeling strategies and construction processes to resolve major tasks of remodeling. Through this research we acquire concluding remarks. 1) The remodeling strategies of equipment-intensive areas can be divided into two measures: utilizing the existing buildings (the main buildings) the most, and of concentrated relocation in the new buildings. The former method is advantageous in that the main building serves as a center in hospital layouts because concentrated placement of the diagnosis/ treatment area and the supply area benefit the overall operation in terms of functions. However, the measure has limits in that it is difficult to install the facilities and equipment of the new demands due to the low ceilings, which serve as a potential challenge in future growth and changes. 2) The latter measure is the one in which equipment-intensive areas and the areas that are absolutely short of space are first placed in the new buildings while other areas (the outpatient area, the administration area and the miscellaneous areas) are in the existing building (main building). Given the possibility of development In the future, concentrated placement in the new buildings can be said to be more effective order to actively address future growth and changes.

역사성 보존을 위한 구 국악사양성소(별오름극장)의 리모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Remodeling of The Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music(Studio 'Byeol') for Historicity Conservation)

  • Recently, the recognition is changing about cultural heritage, and the various types of buildings or facilities of modern or contemporary times have been designated as cultural properties after that Registered Cultural Properties System is enforced. The purpose of this study is to survey how the newly born the historic buildings of modern or contemporary times through the remodeling process of the Studio 'Byeol'(the Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music) in the National Theater of Korea so-called a microcosm of performing arts history. In the process, it will examine the merits and demerits of various alternatives and the direction of the remodeling etc., and propose an utilization as a basic data of post evaluation for the remodeling of a historic building. The result are as followings. Firstly, the remodeling that gave a new physical properties to a building can be used a method of conservation and reuse on a historic building. The remodeling of a historic building must be eclectically progress between the owner and the citizen or the economic value and the historicity conservation. And, the remodeling of historic buildings such as the Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music must consider the conservation of the exterior walls in whole or in part at least. Secondly, an architect Lee Hee Tae(李喜泰) who had been to develop his own architectural vocabulary and to test based on the korean traditional architecture and the Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music must be newly evaluated today. Lastly, the remodeling alternatives of the Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music have been analyzed with three types, which is 'repairing only the interior which maintains the size and an appearance of present', 'extending the outer wall to the external column line', 'extending the basement'. And, it was analyzed with the appropriate final decision that it remodels only the interior in the current situation because of a historicity, a budget, a relevant law etc.
