Evaluation of Field Application for the mix properties of the thixotropic grout (가소성그라우트의 배합특성 및 현장 적용성 평가)

  • The advantages of grouting are the simple instrument, the simple procedure of practice and the simple verification of grouting result. but the more grouting practice there is, the more damages of environment from grouting practice and grouting materials there are. so, the grouting materials and methods with the character of environment friendly are introduced in construction field, recently. This paper is to study of the physical characteristics that has thixotropic character and that consists of inorganic and polycarboxylate co-polymer. In study, various testing methods are performed such as a viscosity, a thixotropy, a compressive strength, a heavy metal detection and pH measurement in lab test and a low pressure injection test and a high pressure injection test in field with different soil type. As a result, a optimum mix ratio is proposed by analyzing the result of lab test. the field applicability is verified by checking a injection pressure, a grout volume and a hardened body of grout by excavating the practice site.

Thermal Bridge and Heat Transfer Analysis for Each Part in Residential Building According to Construction of Wood-based Finishing Material (목질 마감재 구성에 따른 주거용 건축물 부위별 열교 및 전열성능 분석)

  • Many researches and policies have been carried out for saving energy in buildings. However, there are a few studies of thermal characteristics of wood-based materials that have been widely used as structural materials and finishing materials in buildings. In this study, thermal bridging areas were found to investigate thermal performance of residential building using non wood-based materials and wood-based materials. And heat transfer analysis of 16 case studies according to composition of structural materials and finishing materials was conducted. Also in this experiment, Physibel Trisco was used as the heat transfer analysis simulation tool, which conforms to the calculation method of ISO 10211. Analytical modeling was also carried out according to the ISO 10211, and the boundary temperature conditions were set at room temperature $20^{\circ}C$ and outdoor temperature $-11.3^{\circ}C$ (Seoul standard) according to the energy saving design standard in South Korea. Applied structures are classified according to the cases of concrete structure with non wood-based finishing materials, concrete structure with wood-based finishing materials and wood structure. Analyzed building elements were divided into a wall, a roof, an interlayer floor and a bottom floor. As a result, it can be confirmed that the thermal bridge of the concrete structure and wood structure were caused by the geometrical and material causes. In addition, the structural thermal bridge was caused in the discontinuity of the insulation in the concrete structure. Also it was confirmed that the linear heat transfer coefficient of the wall decreases when the wood-based materials are applied to the concrete structure.

  • Similar patterned fire incidents such as, Inchon Live-Hof Pub Restaurant as, Sea-land Children Resort have proven that serious loss of lives were caused by hazardous gas generated from a combustion of interior finish and decorative materials. Therefore, comparing Korean fire regulation with other countries fire code, e.g. UK, USA, France about limitation of interior finish and decorative materials in premises as assemblies, differences & problems have been int estimated and analyzed on hew serious they may affect on fire spread and smoke development based on analyze facts. It is suggested that Korean fire code would be revised in order to reduce hazardous interior finish materials from special occupancy and adapted new test methods to verify proper fire performance in premises as assembles which require a fire certificate. Finally, detailed code alternatives will be suggested in order to set up effective fire regulation, which could promote preventing serious loss of lives in future.

  • Presents age is diversified in all genres by fast development of information and digital, and expression of fixing is not. Architecture and interior space design is showing new paradigm through dematerializing, ex-formal, nonlinear. Glass material is expressing by various technique in space and outer skin to introduction of digital media and a high-tech technology. Expressive characteristics and Techniques of this glass material are showing form of homogenized life in this age, simulated life. Therefore, this study does theoretical investigation through dematerializing of glass material, and analyzes works after 2000. Wish to understand stream of indoor design of present age after analyzes expression special quality and technique of glass material that reflect age and make a study of symbolic expression characteristic.

A Study on the Method of Using Plants and Preference Analysis for Interior Space (실내공간에 있어서 식물 이용 방법과 선호도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study intens to provide available guideline of useful plants in interior and be used by designer. It focuses on evaluating the character of plants, the method of installation and the form of composition for suitable design of using plants. The study finds out that using plants in interior are necessary positively by 94% respondents. And results of factor analysis are that plants are needed for emothional stability(factor 1), visual charming(factor 2), and educational effection(factor 3). According to job, the group of students is visual charming (P=0.0037), the public servants and housewives is educational effection(p=0.0029). The most available space of plants as follows : Department(30.5%), Hotell(26.3%), House and Restuarant(12.7%). It has been identified that the public institution and commercial space are much indused plants. The most indused plants in house is ordered that the veranda, the living room, the entrance. This result is concerned about relation of natural light plants. The repondants reply that the favorite arrangement style is the corner form(63%), the center garden form(52.1%), the large planter(19.7%), the planter box(11.3%). They respond that they are more favorite light green color than dark, and mono color than mixture color. Finally, interior Designers should be understood the functional and aesthetic elements and the special interest about plants for developing desigv.

  • The space can recognize by experience of sense, the each space to make identity through this. The contemporary architecture make possible an experience of sense through a complex paradigm and a composite concept expression. The material is not the assist to make a form, but to induce an image and an emotion of designers. The new material make possible the different design expression and the new aesthetic value. The appearance of difference material means the possibility to realize a designer's concept. The purpose of the study Is to analyze the new possibility of material expression through the study on material expression of interior design to associate the sense of being alive, to use basic data of the relation the material and the creativity. The study range is to define the sense of being alive, to image expression of material. It is to analyze the expression method of materials through to analyze the contemporary interior design. The expression method of materials to image the sense of being alive is direct and indirect and compromise. The interior design is visually to realize designer's concept, and the interior designer has to realize their it. The later study is on detail of material, in order to realize of material.

  • Design trend, transparency, which has been developed under a reflection of current periodic environment, has been exposed to people all over the world through varieties of architecture facade and interior space. As interior space follows this trend, which has difference in showing space from the past, transparency becomes an important measure of showing openness of certain space. Main objective of this research is to understand a characteristics of materials that leads transparency a important measure to the modern interior design, and this will set the range to this applicable materials for appropriate areas of defining transparency in an interior. Characteristic uses of transparent materials found in this research which leads transparency into interior space are described below: First, there are two perspectives in transparency. One is visibility and material wised transparency and the other is conditional and spacial wised transparency. With this knowledge, we can expand a level of transparency with ideas such as clarity, opacity, visible transmission, and reflection, and this broadened range will vary the acceptable materials used to show transparency. Second, transparent materials are used with many different purposes in modern interior space as furnitures, sanitary fixtures, partitions, and other structures. With using modern technology in reforming this materials brought new methods in structure composing. last, transparent materials' expnt pable characteristics made modern interior space to have a control over spacial homogeneity, a simplified octlines, weakened boundaries, and compositional effects by interference and vision.

A study on the hiring and retaining program of vocational high school teaching staff (실업계 고등학교 실내디자인 전공)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the hiring and retraining program for interior design teaching staffs of vocational high school. The survey has been made by interviewing 12 teachers from 2 vocational high school. The major finding of this stuffy are as follows; First, it is found that newly hired interior design teaching staffs are required to have interior design majors in university and minimum 1 year field experience. In case of having no field experience, it is required for them either to have an interior design associated certificates or to pass certain field test. Second, the retraining program should include drafting, perspective and rendering, architectural and interior materials, architectural structure, space and interior design, furniture design and fabrication, CAD, interior construction, housing and interior design in general. Third, the retraining program will be total 255 hours program. The number of hours for each specific subject are varied perpending on subject, For example, 15 hours an allocated for drafting and 60 hours for CAD.

  • 전 세계적으로 탄소중립에 대한 중요도가 증가하면서 국내에서도 이를 위한 그린뉴딜 정책이 발표되었다. 태양전지는 탄소중립 실현을 위한 중요한 신재생에너지 중의 하나이며, 최근에는 실외 거치형 발전 시스템을 넘어 건축 창호 및 외벽, 자동차 선루프, IoT 센서 구동용 전원 등 다양한 분야에서 제품들과의 융합화를 위한 소재/시스템 기술이 개발되고 있다. 본 원고에서는 유기태양전지를 활용한 Product integrated 태양전지 소재 및 응용 기술에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, 실내 조명을 이용한 유기태양전지 기술에 대해 자세히 논의하고자 한다.

A Study on Alternative Backfill Material for Pre-insulated Pipe through the Laboratory Tests (실내시험을 통한 이중보온관 되메움 대체재료에 관한 연구)

  • This paper recommends the alternative back-fill material for the pre-insulated pipe based on the results of tests performed using different kinds of backfill material. In this study, laboratory tests were preformed to determine the behavior of the pre-insulated pipe caused by variation on grain size distribution, friction characteristics and earth pressure characteristics of different types of backfill material. Two types of natural sand (fine-grained and coarse-grained sand) and crushed sand, and two types of gravel (10mm, 20mm) were used as backfill material in the laboratory tests. The laboratory test results were analyzed and compared with the pre-insulated pipe backfilled with the standard medium-grained sand. Based on the evaluation and comparison of laboratory test results, it was determined that crushed sand is the most suitable back-fill material that can be used as an alternative for medium grained sand for pre-insulated pipes.
