A Study on developing Flight Software for Nano-satellite based on NASA CFS (NASA CFS에 기반한 초소형 위성용 비행소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Flight software plays an important role in operating satellites, such as processing commands from ground station, controlling satellites and processing mission data. Reliability is the most important thing in flight software and many verifications and tests are needed for assuring it. this causes an increase of cost and period of development. So NASA has developed a reusable flight software platform to apply to their satellite projects. The CFS(Core Flight System) is the very result. We are developing our flight software for a nano-satellite based on NASA CFS. We have tested core services and functions provided in CFS and we have designed and implemented flight software based on these.

  • In this study, by utilizing the information fusion of multi sensor data and time within the crosswalk safety Assistive gait secondary to the safety of pedestrians on the system design and system performance verification through support to. Environmental awareness, and time information in addition to leveraging the default behavior for pedestrian safety design of the secondary system performed a study on the scenario and the behavior of a system for fuzzy control was performed for each sensor data processing, median filtering, including filters processing leveraging, and was attached by the time we complete the final algorithm, the system behavior. In addition, taking advantage of the sensor measurements, so basically uncertainties and sensor results, and you want to give at least the reliability of the data fusion experiment equipment using this simple verification.

  • Al-Cu alloy has been used as a circuit material for its low resistance and ease to process for long years at CMOS technology. However, basically metal is very susceptible to corrosion and which has been a long pending trouble in various fields using metal. The defect causes the reliability concerns, so improved methods are necessary to reduce the defect. In the various corrosion parameters, PR strip process conditions after metal etch and optimal cleaning solutions are controllable and increase the process margin to prevent the metal corrosion. This study proposes that chlorine residue after metal etch as the source of metal corrosion, and charges should be removed by optimizing PR strip process condition and cleaning condition.

  • There are many problems and limits in equipments being used for traffic-volume analysis in the country. And traffic-volume information acquired through existing equipments is not provided in real-time. In the case of urban, there are limits on guarantee of trust on comprehending a appropriate road-volume because of difficulty on analyzing traffic-volume density and time series. And it is difficult to applicate in deciding a road policy as existing equipments don't provide the control information of traffic-flow. Therefore, it is necessary to build a road-flow policy rapidly and accurately through the road-flow information that analyze post-processed statistics data using traffic-flow investigation based on real time. In this study, we developed TICS(Traffic Information Collection System) based on GPS which could transmit traffic information transformed from car location information to traffic control center. And we developed TCS(Traffic Control System) based on Web GIS, which could manage and analyze transmitted traffic information, and it could offer handled road-flow information to Web-site in realtime.

  • As the market of lithium secondary batteries moves from mobile IT devices to large-format electric vehicles or energy storage systems, the strengthened battery specifications such as long-term reliability longer than 10 years, pack-level safety and tough competitive price have been required. Moreover, even though high power properties should also be achieved for hybrid electric vehicles, it is not easy to measure accurate power values at various conditions. Because it is difficult to choose a proper measurement method and its experimental condition is more complex comparing to capacity measurement. In addition, the power values are very sensitive to power duration time, state-of-charge (SOC) of cells, cut-off voltages, and temperatures, whereas capacity values are not. In this paper, we introduce three kinds of power measurement methods, hybrid pulse power characterization (HPPC) suggested by US FreedomCar, so-called J-pulse by Japan electric vehicle association standards (JEVS) and constant power measurement, respectively. Moreover, with pouch-type unit cells for HEV, experimental power data are discussed in order to compare each power measurement.

  • The powers used in the motor drive system are mostly DC sources like batteries. Even AC powers in some systems are generated from DC sources by the inverter. It is can be forecasted that the DC-link communications will be widely used in various industrial fields. In this paper a novel BLDC motor drive system using DC-link communications is proposed. The characteristic of this system Is that the communication only needs 2 DC lines. There are not additional lines to translate the reference signals. And the reliability o3 the system is ensured especially under some terrible circumstances. The number of lines can be minimized when the DC-link communication method is applied in the multi motor control system and the slip ring design also can be simplified when this method is applied in rotation machines. The proposed motor system is clarified by the PSIM and MATLAB simulations and tested through the hardware prototype.

  • Automation is being progressed rapidly in various fields with the advancement of IT technology. Home automation is a typical application and is being used in a variety of ways now. Most of digital door lock systems simply support to open and close a door using the methods of password and a particular magnetic key. In this paper, we propose a intelligent digital door lock system using face recognition technology. Our proposed system can control the locking device opening and closing from a remote location after confirming the identification of the visitor via a smart device, and support the reliable and secure control of door systems.

  • Tunnel modelling in the field of geotechnical engineering essentially requires models of tunnelling machines and the simulation of tunnelling processes to clarify the detailed behaviour of tunnel construction. Modern advanced mechatronics, including construction processes, machinining and control technologies, are making it possible to fabricate such models. These technologies, however, are essentially developed in a gravity field condition and are needed to examine in a 1g or cenrifuge field condition. This paper presents the simulation method for tunnelling processes and the design method for tunnelling machines with special reference to the problem of earth pressure acting on the lining of a shield tunnel. The paper then introduces and verifies the design method for tunnelling machines in the 1g field by means of checking the reproduceability of experiment data and their comparison with data in the field.

  • It has been required more reliable communication on processes and improvement of system performance as distributed systems using multicast protocol became widespread. In distributed environment maintaining data consistency through asynchronous execution of processes and coordinating the activities of them would occurs. This paper proposes a total ordering algorithm, TORMP, in order to resolve these problems. TORMP takes advantage of multicast protocol and uses an effective token passing method. It reduces a process delaying time before transmitting its message by multicasting a token simultaneously to every process that initiates the request of the message. Moreover, the processes receiving the token start multicasting the message at the same time, which causes to cut down the overall transmission dely. In case that one process sends a message, TORMP hardly uses the procedure of controlling for ordering. It gives fairly the right of sending messages to all processes in a group with utilizing vector clock. In TORMP, unlike other algorithms, the number of packets generated during ordering process does not depend on the number of processes.

  • 나노입자가 가지는 고유한 특성이 부각되면서 이를 소자 특성 향상에 응용하고자 하는 연구가 집중적으로 이루어지고 있다. 박막에 포함된 나노입자는 메모리, 고효율 박막형 태양전지 등에 이용될 수 있는 가능성을 보여주었으며, 나노입자에 기반 하는 소자 제조에 관한 연구가 이루어지면서 플라즈마 내 발생하는 나노입자를 이용하여 패터닝 등에 적용하고자 하는 연구가 국내외에서 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 특히 플라즈마에서 발생하는 나노입자는 플라즈마 내 전기적 및 화학적 특징으로 인해 다른 입자 제조 공정과 달리 응집이 없는 균일한 입자를 제조할 수 있다. 이러한 플라즈마 내 발생 입자를 응용하기 위해서는 각각의 응용 분야에 적합한 입경 분포 제어가 요구된다. 하지만 입자 합성 시 크기분포 특성에 관한 연구는 기존의 포집 및 전자현미경을 이용한 방법으로 실시간으로 분석하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 저압에서 실시간으로 나노입자 분포를 측정할 수 있는 PBMS (particle beam mass spectrometer)를 이용하여, PECVD (plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition)의 입자 생성 조건에 따라 continuous, pulse, dual pulse로 분류되는 공정 조건에서 생성되는 입자의 크기 분포를 측정하였다. 또한 그 결과를 기존의 동일한 조건에서 포집 후 SMPS (scanning mobility particle sizer)와 전자 현미경을 이용하여 분석한 결과와 비교하였다. 실리콘 나노 입자의 측정은 PBMS 장비의 전단 부분을 PECVD 장치 내부에 연결하여 진행하였다. PECVD를 이용한 실리콘 나노입자 형성의 주요 변수는 RF pulse, 가스(Ar, SiH4, H2)의 유량, Plasma power, 공정 압력 등이 있으며 각 변수를 조절하여 공정 환경을 구성하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통하여 PECVD를 이용해 각각의 공정 환경에서 생성되는 실리콘 나노입자의 실시간 입경 분포 분석을 PBMS로 수행하는 것에 신뢰성이 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 그 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 추후 지속적 연구에 의해 변수에 따른 나노입자 생성을 데이터베이스화 하여 요구되는 응용분야에 적합한 특성을 가지는 나노입자를 형성하는 조건을 정립 하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것을 기대할 수 있다.
