기계류 부품 신뢰성 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Reliability Modeling in Machine Parts)

  • This work aims to develop modeling methodology of machine part reliability. The reliability model is to be used for predicting and improving reliability in planning and design processes of products. In order to develop the reliability model of machine parts, the functions and interactions of sub-units of machine parts are analyzed first and function network is constructed. Using the function network, function block diagram is developed, which can be the basis for deriving reliability block diagram. Modeling of machine part reliability has not been widely studied since the reliability modeling of machine parts requires understanding of the functions and failures of their components in several viewpoints. This work tries to find general methodology of reliability modeling and proposes a framework for reliability improvement during machine part development.

  • 본 논문에서는 SWATH선의 횡 구조물에 신뢰성 해석법을 적용하였다. cross-structure와 strut의 윗부분에 있는 판부재를 선정하여 그 압축 최종강도에 대한 신뢰성해석을 수행하였고, 또한 cross-structure와 strut, sponson과 strut의 연결부에 대한 피로 신뢰성해석을 수행하였다. 피로손상의 허용수준의 설정에 대한 일례를 보여주었으며, 최종강도와 피로강도를 동시에 고려한 일종의 series system에 대한 신뢰성해석을 포함하였다. 이는 구조의 안전성 평가시 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있다는 점에서 바람직하다고 하겠다.

정압 베어링 볼 조인트의 신뢰성 향상 (Reliability Evaluation of Hydrostatic Bearing Ball Joint)

  • Hydrostatic bearing improves performance and life time of a product by avoiding solid friction and reducing viscosity friction with the help of creating pressure equilibrium between two faces doing relative motion. This study suggests failure analysis and test evaluation for a ball joint that adopts the hydrostatic bearing and introduces the entire process to improve reliability of the product by design improvement. A typical failure is growth of friction torque by solid friction, and its failure cause is determined and the improvement is proposed. Finally, reliability improvement is established by analysis of the results of before and after acceleration test.

  • Purpose: A slurry pump for flue gas desulfurization system performs a role that discharges the slurry of a plaster shape in a thermal power plant. Since a slurry pump transfers the slurry by the centrifugal force, it has the friction wear in the impeller and liner because of the slurry. Methods: In this study, failure analysis and test evaluation on the slurry pump have been proposed and the process that reliability of the product improves through design improvement has been presented. And failure cause of typical failure case has been investigated and improvement design has been presented. Results: Reliability improvement is established by analysis of the test results of before and after acceleration test. Conclusion: This study can be provided to improve the product reliability through failure analysis of a slurry pump.

  • Recently, the reliability evaluation and analysis are applied for many industrial products, and many products are required to guarantee in quality and in efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to present some of reliability prediction methodologies that are applicable to machine tools. Especially ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) and Interface Card of PC-NC, which are core components of the machine tools, were chosen as the target of the reliability evaluation and analysis. The results of this research has shown the failure rate, MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure), and reliability for those components. It is expected that proposed methodologies will be applicable to evaluation of reliability for other industrial products.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the replacement cycle applied age replacement policy by reliability analysis based on railway vehicle contactor's failure history data. Method: We performed reliability analysis based on railway vehicle contactor's failure history data. We found a suitable distribution by goodness of fit test and predicted the reliability through estimation of scale & shape parameter. Considering cost information we determined the replacement cycle that minimize the opportunity cost. Result: Suitable distribution was the Weibull and scale parameter & shape parameter are estimated by reliability analysis. The replacement cycle was predicted and MTTF, $B_6$ percentile life were suggested additionally. Conclusion: We confirmed that failure rate type of railway vehicle contactor is degradation model having a time dependent characteristic and examined the replacement cycle in our country's operating environment. We expect that this study result contribute to railway operation agency for maintenance policy decision.

신뢰성 보정된 발사체 개발비용 추정방안 연구 (Studies for Reliability-corrected Cost Estimation Methodology of Launch Vehicle Development)

  • 본 연구에서는 발사체의 개념설계 단계 동안 성능 변수뿐만 아니라 신뢰성에 따른 개발비용 추정방안을 분석하고자 하였다. 과거에는 발사체의 개발비용을 예측하기 위해서 주로 발사체의 성능과 건조 질량 등을 독립변수로 하는 추정 방법이 많이 이용되었다. 이러한 접근 방법은 비교적 근사하였지만 신뢰성 수준에 따른 비용 변화를 반영할 수 없기 때문에 원하는 신뢰성을 가진 발사체의 개발비용을 근접하게 예측하기는 쉽지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 비용추정 방법의 한계를 개선하기 위해 성능과 질량을 기반으로 한 비용 모델인 TRANSCOST에 신뢰성 개념을 도입하여 발사체 비용을 추정할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 신뢰성에 따른 한국형발사체(KSLV- II)의 개발비용을 추정했다.

  • Lighting industry is rapidly being developed as the ubiquitous society based on sensor network emerges. This kind of paradigm shift brings the society convergence of technologies which leads to smart lighting system as well as the integration of interior and sensibility control. However, standards for sensors have not been firmly established, and problems related to quality and malfunction have been brought up, thereby calling for careful approach to the enhancement and assessment of reliability of the item. In this article reliability assessment criteria for sensor module for lighting fixtures is established in terms of performance assessment criterion and reliability assessment criterion.

  • Power light emitting diodes(LED) for lighting fittings are so much environment-friendly, highly reliable and consume less energy that they are widely used at home and in industries such as electronics, telecommunications and industrial machineries. However, they are exposed to a very diverse environment and consists of complex components and, therefore needs careful approach to the enhancement and assessment of reliability of the item. In this article reliability assessment criteria for LED are established in terms of performance assessment test, reliability assessment test and accelerated test.

  • 현대에 개발되는 시스팀은 고성능, 다기능이 요구되며 그 요구가 사용자 관점에서 볼 때 고신뢰성이 한층 요구 되어지고 있다. 연구 개발 단계의 초기 단계에서 설정된 품질 목표치, 즉 신뢰도(reliability), 가용도(availability), 정비도(mailtailability)를 기준으로 연구 개발 단계별로 품질 및 신뢰성 활동들이 구체화 된다. 특정 시스팀이 하나의 building block의 개념으로 구체화 되고 시스팀의 계층 구조를 물리적 구조로 분류되는 시스팀 설계 단계에서 시스팀 블록 단위의 신뢰도 배분(reliability allocation)이 이루어진다. 시스팀의 설계가 완료된 상태에서 상세 설계되어 제품이 실현되며, 시제품에 대한 신뢰도 예측(reliability prediction)업무가 착수된다. 시스팀의 품질목표치를 겨냥한 실질적인 품질 및 신뢰성 활동들이 신뢰도 배분치 및 시스팀 신뢰도 목표치로 bottom-up 방식으로 접근하게 됨에 따라, 본고에서는 시스팀의 품질 목표치를 달성하기 위해 가장 원천적으로 기본이 될 수 있는 전자부품의 품질 수준을 분석하고, 신뢰성 관련 제반 시험 기술을 분석 기술하고자 한다.
