VE/LCC Analysis Models of Breakwaters by Fuzzy Reliability Approach (퍼지 신뢰성 이론에 의한 방파제의 VE/LCC 분석모델)

  • In this study, the concepts of integrated VE analysis assessment is introduced in order to achieve "Design for Deterioration performance" in design VE phase. For this purpose, a framework for fuzzy reliability based LCC and value analysis model using fuzzy logic based approach for breakwaters Projects is suggested. It is anticipated that the methodology Proposed in this paper can also be utilized in the design and maintenance phase of other facilities where decision making is made for the fuzzy reliability based life cycle cost and value analysis.

Timer-based Buffer Management for Reliable Multicast (신뢰적 멀티캐스트를 위한 타이머 기반 버퍼 관리)

  • In order to deliver multicast traffic efficiently, multicast routing and reliable transmission mechanisms are required. The reliable delivery implies that lost packets must be retransmitted, which in turn requires that transmitted packets be stored in a retransmission buffer. Therefore how to manage a retransmission buffer is important and, in this paper, we try to solve the problem of how many packets should be maintained in the buffer. Our proposed scheme, the timer-based buffer management (TBM), maintains only necessary amount of buffer based on the timer value calculated from the NAKs between the replier and receivers on a multicast tree and can adjust to the dynamic network conditions. By performing simulations, we show that TBM manages the buffer efficiently regardless of the error situation, network size, and so on.

  • 본고에서는 TDX 시스팀의 신뢰도 보증 및 효율적 관리를 위하여 TDX-1A 시스팀에서 사용되고 있는 부품의 신뢰도 예측치와 현장운용데이터에서 나온 신뢰도 평가치를 비교 검토한후, TDX-1A 시스팀의 신뢰도 예측결과를 검증하고, 또한 외국의 고장율 예측방법과의 차이점을 도출하여 이를 TDX 시스팀의 신뢰도 예측방법에 적용한 후 TBX-1A 현장운용데이터로 보완된 TDX 환경에 적합한 부품 고장율 예측방법을 정립, 제시하고자 한다.

The Effect of Customer Value on Online Shopping Mall: The Moderating Role of Trust (온라인 쇼핑몰환경에서 고객가치가 로열티에 미치는 영향: 신뢰의 매개영향을 중심으로)

  • Companies consider customers as an equity, which is expected to increase customer loyalty. However, customer loyalty does not linearly increase in real world by the customer equity always. This research investigates a mediating variable which influence the relationship between customer equity drivers and customer loyalty. We focus on customer value as a customer equity driver which is the most basic factor among customer equity drivers. We examine that online trust as a mediator between the customer value and customer loyalty in on online shopping mall context. Customer value consists of perceived convenience, quality, and price. Findings indicate that online trust mediates the relationship between customer value and customer loyalty. Especially, online trust perfectly mediates the perceived convenience and the perceived quality. The perceived convenience influences online trust most significantly and perceived quality and perceived price are following in the order of strength. Our results implicate that online trust is an important mediator of the relationship between customer equity and customer loyalty in online shopping mall context and need to be managed as a customer relationship management index to increase customer loyalty. In addition, perceived convenience is the most important factor to increase online trust in matured online market.

A Study to Improve the Trustworthiness of Data Repositories by Obtaining CoreTrustSeal Certification (CoreTrustSeal 인증 획득을 통한 데이터 리포지토리의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 연구)

  • As the recognition of data's value increases, the role of data repositories in managing, preserving, and utilizing data is becoming increasingly important. This study investigates ways to enhance the trustworthiness of data repositories through obtaining CoreTrustSeal (CTS) certification. Trust in data repositories is critical not only for data protection but also for building and maintaining trust between the repository and stakeholders, which in turn affects researchers' decisions on depositing and utilizing data. The study examines the CoreTrustSeal, an international certification for trustworthy data repositories, analyzing its impact on the trustworthiness and efficiency of repositories. Using the example of DataON, Korea's first CTS-certified repository operated by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI), the study compares and analyzes four repositories that have obtained CTS certification. These include DataON, the Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) from NASA, Yareta from the University of Geneva, and the DARIAH-DE repository from Germany. The research assesses how these repositories meet the mandatory requirements set by CTS and proposes strategies for improving the trustworthiness of data repositories. Key findings indicate that obtaining CTS certification involves rigorous evaluation of organizational infrastructure, digital object management, and technological aspects. The study highlights the importance of transparent data processes, robust data quality assurance, enhanced accessibility and usability, sustainability, security measures, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. By implementing these strategies, data repositories can enhance their reliability and efficiency, ultimately promoting wider data sharing and utilization in the scientific community.

The Effects of Supply Chain Management on Project Manager's Capability and Sustainable Benefit Sharing in Global Leading Companies (글로벌 리딩 기업의 공급사슬관리가 프로젝트 관리자의 역량과 지속가능 성과공유에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of SCM on PM's capabilities and sustainable benefit sharing in leading global companies. To achieve this, statistical analyses were carried out through an empirical questionnaire survey of 426 PMs in SCM companies. The results showed that SCM commitment, vision and goal sharing have positive effects on PM's capabilities in leading global companies, boosting PM capability. Moreover, sustainable benefit sharing was improved along with SCM trust building, vision and goal sharing in global leading companies, supporting the usefulness of these variables. In contrast, SCM information sharing and trust building did not lead to significant acceleration of PM's capabilities, rejecting these variables. These findings indicate that SCM information sharing or trust building does not really help simple members to accelerate PM's capabilities.

  • The purpose of this study is to find empirically the effect on start-up performance and organizational trust of receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator. In order to achieve the purposes of this study, we collected survey data for 216 employees in order to verify the research model and the hypothesis, we performed structural equation model analysis by using AMOS 18.0. Results of this study are as follows. First, receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator has positive effect on organizational trust significantly. Second, receptiveness for balanced scorecard in tenant companies of business incubator has positive effect on start-up performance significantly. Third, organizational trust for business incubator has positive effect on start-up performance significantly.

  • This study seeks to analyze the concepts of authenticity and reliability of records and apply them to the criteria for judging authoritative records subject to legal management. While reliability is determined by the degree of completeness and control in the records creation stage, authenticity is ensured by preventing manipulation and tampering that occur after records creation. Authoritative records with reliability in the creation stage are legally subject to management, so such records can be subject to punishment if they are destroyed because of negligence. It is necessary to take active measures to ensure reliability, continuous authenticity after creation, and complete records creation by controlled procedures and methods before records capture. The lack of such an evidential characteristic does not mean that it is not a record, and such records are also created in reality, managed in a system, and delivered to the next generation as a representation of social memory and activities.

  • There are many software reliability models that are based on the times of occurrences of errors in the debugging of software. It is shown that it is possible to do parameter inference for software reliability models based on finite failure model and non-homogeneous Poisson Processes (NHPP). For someone making a decision to market software, the conditional failure rate is an important variables. In this case, finite failure model are used in a wide variety of practical situations. Their use in characterization problems, detection of outlier, linear estimation, study of system reliability, life-testing, survival analysis, data compression and many other fields can be seen from the many study. Statistical process control (SPC) can monitor the forecasting of software failure and thereby contribute significantly to the improvement of software reliability. Control charts are widely used for software process control in the software industry. In this paper, proposed a control mechanism based on NHPP using mean value function of polynomial hazard function.

  • This study aims to establish a research model to analyze the structural relationship between the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers, the trust of the manager, and the quality of service. As a result, first, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship among service quality in the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Second, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship between the working environment and the trust of managers of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of the elderly medical welfare facility and improve the quality of service, it is necessary to create a working environment and establish a trust relationship among members. In addition, in order to cultivate competency and provide high-quality services for the elderly medical welfare facility workers, managers need to understand the individual characteristics of members, and to assign duties according to roles, accurate division of duties and personnel management are required.
