  • 본 논문에서는 신호 시제 논리를 이용하여 순음 생성 시스템을 개발한다. 일반적으로 많이 알려지고 널리 쓰이는 시제 논리는 선형 시제 논리이다. 그러나, 선형 시제 논리로는 다양한 실수 값과 정량적인 시간을 다루지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 신호 시제 논리를 이용하여 이러한 문제점을 극복하고, 선형 시제 논리로는 어려웠던 순음 발생기를 신호 시제 논리를 사용하여 개발한다.

  • 본고에서는 시제의 일반적 정의와 상에 관한 개념들을 정리하였다. 시제는 시간을 나타내는 동사의 굴절형'이고 따라서 시제는 문법범주의 하나로서 영어의 경우 현재시제와 과거시제를 인정하고 있다. 시제처럼 상을 문법범주로 인정한다면 그 기술 대상은 당연히 문법적 표현에 국한될 것이고 반대로 문법범주가 아닌 의미범주로 간주하면 문법적 표현은 물론이고 어휘적 표현까지 기술대상이 될 것이다. 따라서 상은 문법범주로서 명시되어 있고 특히 영어의 상은 진행형과 완료형의 두 형태로 국한하고 있다. 이 경우에 진행상(the progressive aspect)은 진행형, 완료상(the perfect aspect)은 완료형을 가리킨다. 이렇듯 시제와 상의 밀접한 관계가 있다 하겠다. 더하여 다양한 영역에서 상에 관한 개념정의가 필요하고 더 많은 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 여겨진다.

  • 본 논문에서는 언어학의 관점에서 시제와 상의 특성을 알아 보고, Reichenbach 의 시제와 상을 살펴 보며, 상의 기술에 있어서 언어학자의 여러 주장과 문제점을 고찰하며, 한국어의 시제를 영어의 12 시제와 비교한다. 그리고 한국어의 여러 시제 의미를 분석하고, 시제의 구조를 개념그래프 이론에 의거하여 기술한다. 실험에서는 시제가 포함된 문장을 입력 받아 개념그래프로 변환하는 프로그램을 구현하고 그 결과를 기술한다.

  • Commercial machine translation systems have been announcing recently, However, there are problems that the systems have shown mistranslations, yet. Among these mistranslations, this paper is interested in the mistakes of tense processing. The paper compares Korean tenses with 12 English ones: present. past, future, present perfect. past perfect, future perfect. present progressive, past progressive, future progressive, present perfect progressive, past perfect progressive. future perfect progressive. Next, we perform the meaning analysis of Korean tenses. Then we describe the structure of the tenses based on Conceptual Graph(CG). In the experiment. the paper implements the program that translates sentences included in the tenses into CG.

  • The purpose of this paper investigate the general definition of Tense and the concepts about Aspect. I consider the correlation between the lexical and the grammatical aspect. Tense is an inflection type of a verb that indicates the time, tense is grammatical categories. Tense has the current tense and the past tense in English. If we recognize aspect as a grammatical category, that the subject of in description will be confined to the grammatical expression. In contrast, when considered as a category of meaning, lexical and grammatical representation is the expression target. Therefore, aspect is stated as a grammatical category. Specially, the aspect of English, there is only a progressive tense and perfect tense. In this case, the progressive aspect is progressive tense and the perfect aspect is perfect tense. Chapter 2, I investigate the definition of the tense of many scholars and define the usage of each tense. In Chapter 3, I exhibit the definition of the Aspect. Aspect is grammatical and semantic one. Tense and Aspect is a simple grammar category, but they have a various spectrum. Therefore, As the definition of the Tense and Aspect becomes clear it will be helpful to students who are received English education. In addition, the definition about tense and aspect needs in variety of areas, more research is needed.

Time Adverb 'Cengjing (曾經)' and 'Yijing (已經) Tense and Aspect of the Comparative Analysis of the Characteristics of China and South Korea (시간부사 '증경(曾經)', '이경(已經)' 시상(時相) 자질 중한 대조분석)

  • Analysis of the syntactic structure of the modern Chinese adverbs for time 'Cengjing (曾經)' and 'Yijing (已經)' was performed to examine the tenses and aspects of the terms. The corresponding Korean words were examined and the terms in both languages were compared. The syntactic structures used in China and South Korea were found to be different. We hope the study of the Chinese language will help Korean students. 'Cengjing (曾經)' specific projects with 'aspect' of, 'Past experience aspect', 'Past continuous aspect', 'Past continuous aspect' in the past tense. [ED: unclear, please reword] These correspond to '_었 (았)_', '_었었_' in the Korean language. 'Yijing (已經)' has 'finished phase' of concrete projects, 'Past experience aspect', 'Past continuous aspect', also has a specific project tense, the 'past tense', 'present tense', 'future tense', and so tense. [ED: unclear, please reword] Adjectives can also be modified with a 'change of status'. These correspond to '_었 (았)_', '_고_', '_었었_', '곧' etc. in Korean. 'Cengjing (曾經)' and the dynamic auxiliary 'Guo (過)' were compared to determine whether they have the aspect and tense features. However, 'Guo (過)' can only modify the predicate verb, so it possesses only aspect characteristics. 'Cengjing (曾經)' modifies the range more widely. 'Yijing (已經)' may be modified by the adverb 'Zai (在)' whereas 'Cengjing (曾經)' may not. Additionally, 'Yijing (已經)' can be modified by predicate adjectives and noun predicates, while 'Cengjing (曾經)' cannot.

Perception and importance for country-of-origin labeling at restaurants in college students in Jeju (제주지역 대학생들의 음식점 원산지표시제에 대한 인식 및 중요도 분석)

  • Purpose: This study analyzed the perception and importance of country-of-origin labeling at restaurants in 500 college students in Jeju surveyed from April 15 to May 5, 2016 with the aim of providing basic data. A total of 465 questionnaires out of 500 were used as base data for this study. Methods: The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, ${\chi}^2-test$, and t-test using the SPSS Win program (version 21.0). Results: Regarding food safety-related dietary behaviors, average score was 3.65 points (out of 5), and 'put the food in a refrigerator or freezer immediately (4.07)' showed the highest score, whereas 'cool rapidly hot food prior to putting it in the refrigerator (3.08)' showed the lowest score. Regarding the awareness of country-of-origin labeling at restaurants, 67.5% of subjects were aware of it. With regard to dietary behavior of food safety, the high group showed a higher score than the low group (p < 0.001). Regarding reliability of the system, 4.9% of subjects indicated 'very reliable' and 45.4% 'somewhat reliable'. For perception of subject's country-of-origin labeling, the average score was 3.77 (out of 5). Regarding checking country-of-origin labeling at restaurants, 68.0% of subjects checked country-of-origin labeling, and the high group in the safety-related dietary behavior score ranking showed a higher rate (79.3%) than the low group (57.1%) (p < 0.001). With regard to importance by item, 'honest country-of-origin labeling of restaurants' showed the highest score at 4.27 (out of 5). Conclusion: It is necessary to provide continuing education for college students in order to enhance their perception of country-of-origin labeling at restaurants. Moreover, a systematic and appropriate support and control system by the government and local government needs to be developed in order to improve country-of-origin labeling at restaurants.

Korean College Students' Acquisition of English Tense through Reading (한국 대학생의 독해지문을 활용한 영어시제 습득)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how Korean EFL university students acquire an understanding of English tenses. To research this, we proposed two research questions of study as below. Firstly, what difference is there in English tense acquisition between an experimental group and a control group? Secondly, what difference is there in the English tense acquisition according to English proficiency? The subject of a sample survey was a 39 student experimental group and a 38 student control group, total 77 students, who take English courses as a required subject at 'C' university in Gwangju. The data needed for this study was obtained by the questionnaires with 40 questions about the English tense. The data analyzing method was t-test through the statistics program SPSS 12.0. There was a significant difference between the experimental group's tense acquisition ability and the control group's, even though low group showed no significant improvement in their tense acquisition ability. Studying English tense through reading led the students to be present in classes with interests, so the experimental group showed more academic accomplishments than the control group.

An effective strategy on teaching and learning English tense in the EFL education (영어 시제의 효율적인 교수.학습 전략)

  • Although the understanding of English tense system is a crucial factor for communicative English learning and teaching for EFL students, it has been neglected over the years. As with other areas of the grammar, difficulties may arise from the nature of the system itself or from differences between time, tense and aspect. Consequently, many learners face a considerable difficulty with the English tense system as they are more often unable to grasp the basic conceptual differences of present/present continuous, past/present perfect, will/be going to along with many others. More concerning fact is that lots of instructors or so-called native English teachers seem not to be aware of the importance of teaching English tense system. The purpose of this study is to review and examine various theories and practical usages of tense in order to establish and/or present better methods for teaching tenses. This paper is focused on comparatively exact distinction of time, physical notion from tense, grammatical category as well as sequences of tenses in view of school grammar and communicative function. At the end or middle of each chapter, efficient teaching and learning techniques or strategies on tenses are suggested to help instructors or learners who relentlessly face confusions in understanding tense and its usage for communicative English learning and teaching. This study attempts to influence learners' ability to recognize and write tense in authentic contexts not to mention spoken English.
