A Political Proposal for the Private Brand Activation (유통업체 PB상품 활성화를 위한 정책연구)

  • The growth of market share of distributors' brands, also known as private brand, has accelerated in recent years. Sales volumes and market shares of private brands, as well as their appeal to consumers have steadily increased. Carrying private brands comes with numerous advantages, one of which is the relatively high gross margin, which can be 20 - 30% higher compared to manufacturer brands. Recently, many big discount stores are expanding private brand for higher sales volume. Thus, private brands play an important strategic role for retailers. The tendency of growing private brand will decrease sales revenue of both channel members, distributer and manufacturer. The disadvantage for manufacturer is obvious, especially for the manufactures who not only produce their own brands but also retailer brands competing against their own. There are also possible to weaken the brand awareness of manufacturer's brand. The purpose of this study is to explore the perception gap between retailers and manufacturers. we investigated to identify how consumers perceive private brand. In other to study the impact of private brands on distributors, we surveyed the actual condition of private brand and perception towards private brands among consumers, retailers and manufacturers. Based these analysis, we recommended proposal for private brand policies as follows: First, it need to correct imbalance between large retailer and manufacturer. second, we suggest "win-win growth policy", Third, by registering trademark right of national brand, manufacturers have a way of protecting their brands. Forth, manufacturers are encouraged to produce PNB(Private National Brand).

Review of Consultation Requirements Under Military Air Base Law (군용 항공기지법상의 협의제도에 대한 법적고찰)

  • Current Military Airbase Law, in an effort to promote safety of military aircraft and security of military airbase, requires an administrative agency or its empowered branch to consult with the Secretary of Defense or the commander of the airbase before they issue a certain administrative approval or decision related to the installation. Although this consultation process purports itself in simplifying what can be an protracted administrative procedure, and in unifying objectives of the military and the administrative services, such procedural requirement is vulnerable inevitability of various legal problems whenever there is a conflict of interests among civil, military, government services. Nor is there sufficient studies done by academian in the area of bureaucratic issues of administrative resolution, and certainly not in the area of the military consultation procedure. This article, with such reality in mind attempts to constructively examine 1) when a consultation application is submitted, whether the discretionary power of the commander of the affected airbase is acknowledged at the outset; 2) if the content of the consultation is deemed unlawful, whether a civilian can institute an administrative lawsuit against it; 3) problems about the subject matters of the consultation requirement within the framework of military airbase law; 4) whether the issuing administrative agency must abide by and issue approval or decision in accordance with the opinion proposed by the said commander; 5) the legal problems of the remedial measure such as an order of removal, appellate review, notion to challenge authority, and etc. in cases such as administrative agency ignoring the commanders proposal or issuing final approval or decision that is inconsistent with what was consulted and agreed upon between both parties.

  • According to science technology development, information society has progressed rapidly in the 21st century. Our consciousness and tradition have become entangled in the tide of Westernization. Therefore, the education of Chinese characters was neglected, and Chinese poetry literature was naturally neglected. This led to the abundance of material civilization, however, from the mental aspects, the daily life of modern people became insecure. There is a poet who has lived a lonely life of creation of Chinese poetry in this era. He is a Geasan Kwon Seung Geun(1940~) who writes only poem while being friends with nature. His Chinese poems were revealed through life experiences in nature, which is inspiring sympathy. The origin of his theme is nature. The poetry obtained from nature is rustic simple and pure. Therefore His poems have the style and taste of nature. The Chinese poetry literature of Geasan has been embodied the elements of self-interest, self-satisfaction, self-contentment and living in free at his literatue. On its basis, his Chinese literature has aesthetic boundary of remaining aloofness(自然而然的 超然)·rambling talk, living peacfully and play around with leisure·(閒遠物遊的 閑淡)·deviation rhyme of vividly and beautifully(生趣淸遠的 逸韻) The aesthetic boundary of Chinese poetry of Geasan can be seen as having a depth. This is the aesthetic boundary of Chinese poetry written by this generation in the 21st century.

Satisfaction Factors and Determinants of Visitors in Taeanhaean National Park, Korea (태안해안국립공원 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형)

  • This study was carried out to provide basic data for efficient park management by analysing visitors' satisfaction factors and estimated regression model through questionnaire survey method at Taeanhaean National Park in Korea. Performance(satisfaction) variables as 'touting', 'illegal merchant', 'noise', 'indiscreet use' and 'collection of natural plants or animals', and Importance variables as 'littering problem', 'water pollution act', 'careless cooking' and 'exorbitant pay' were relatively high score. It was clarified that the 'souvenir & special product', 'lack of use program' 'lack of public facility', 'lack of information facility', and 'lack of commercial facility' were 'concentrate here' ones by the Importance-Performance analysis. 'Facility management', 'Use management' and 'Resource management' factors were found out by Factor Analysis and the 'Facility management' was the biggest factor accounting for 32.6% of all. In the estimated model by Multiple Regression Analysis, 'lack of employee's guidance or kindness', 'lack of convenience facility', 'noise', 'lack of facilities to stay' and 'charge of user fee, parking fee' were the variables to impact visitors' satisfaction and to need concentrated management. These results were unique characteristics of marine national park and then the different management strategy and policy from mountain national park were necessary.

Simulation of Plume Length Induced by Orimulsion Combustion (오리멀젼 연소시 발생하는 백연의 연기거리 전산모사)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the visibility of plume at the Y power plant stack, which fires the orimulsion as a fuel. The plume contains numerous primary particles under $1\;{\mu}m$ size and inorganic ions possibly inferred by the chemicals of secondary aerosol formation. We evaluated the visibility of the plume using the modified PLUVUE-II model. The monitoring data on the particle size distribution (PSD) and secondary aerosols of sulfate were applied to estimate and evaluate the main factors of plume opacity. The chemical reactions were applied to the model for the secondary aerosol formation of $(NH_4)_2SO_4(s)$. The maximum plume length was estimated by an optic method using threshold contrast. The results showed that the plume length was strongly dependent upon the PSD and $(NH_4)_2SO_4(s)$ concentration of the plume emitted from the stack.

Length of Estrous Cycle and Duration of Estrus following Natural and Induced Estrus in Korean Native Goats (山羊의 自然 및 誘起發情時 發情週期 및 發情持續時間에 관한 硏究)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the length of the estrous cycle and duration of estrus in Korean native goats. The effects of the type of last estrus : induced or natural, and the length of preceeding estrous cycle on the subsequent cycle and duration of estrus in goats were also examined. From 481 observations, the mean length of estrous cycles was 18.1${\pm}$0.5days. The cycle length was significantly(P<0.05) shorter following induced estrus (15.2${\pm}$0.8 d) than natural estrus(19.0${\pm}$0.6 d). Significantly higher(P<0.05) incidence of short estrous cycle was observed following induced estrus(40%) than natural estrus(27%). The frequency distribution in the estrous cycle was 30%, 3%, 56% and 11% for short(3-11 d), medium(12-16 d), normal(17-24 d) and long(${\geqq}$25 d), respectively. The most frequent type of short estrous cycle was 6 days in length. Mean duration of estrus was 34.0${\pm}$0.5 h with a range of 18 to 84 h. Duration of estrus was not significantly different the preceeding natural (33.8${\pm}$0.6 h) and induced estrus (34.4${\pm}$1.1 h), and was not significantly affected by the last cycle length. These results suggest that the short estrus cycles are more frequent following induced estrus than natural one, and the duration of estrus are affected greatly by the various intrinsic and extrinsic factors.

  • FRACAS(Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System) has been applied in various industries to improve the reliability of the systems. FRACAS is effective in improving reliability by repeating failure analysis, proper corrective action, and result verification for identified failures. However, FRACAS has many limitations in terms of process, data collection and management to be integrated into the existing development environment. In the domestic defense industry, studies on the development of FRACAS system and process improvement have been conducted to solve the difficulties of applying FRACAS, but most of them are concentrated in the operation/maintenance phase. Since FRACAS should be conducted in consideration of TLCSM(Total Life Cycle System Management), it is necessary to study the reference architecture so that FRACAS can be applied from the early design phase. In this paper, we studied the TLCSM-based integrated architecture considering the system life cycle phases, FRACAS closed-loop process, and FRACAS essentials in order to effectively apply FRACAS throughout the life cycle of defense systems. The proposed architecture was used as a reference model for FRACAS in a shipboard combat system.

  • In this study, annual maximum storm events are proposed to determined by the return periods considering total rainfall and rainfall intensity together. The rainfall series at Seoul since 1961 are examined and the results are as follows. First, the bivariate exponential distribution is used to determine annual maximum storm events. The parameter estimated annually provides more suitable results than the parameter estimated by whole periods. The chosen annual maximum storm events show these properties. The events with the biggest total rainfall tend to be selected in the wet years and the events with the biggest rainfall intensity in the wet years. These results satisfy the concept of critical storm events which produces the most severe runoff according to soil wetness. The average characteristics of the annual maximum storm events said average rainfall intensity 32.7 mm/hr in 1 hr storm duration(total rainfall 32.7 mm), average rainfall intensity 9.7 mm/hr in 24 hr storm duration(total rainfall 231.6 mm) and average rainfall intensity 7.4 mm/hr in 48 hr storm duration(total rainfall 355.0 mm).

The Effect of the Group Counseling Program Based on MMTIC for Psychological Well-Being, Self-esteem and Depression in Elementary School Students from Low Income Families (MMTIC를 활용한 집단상담 프로그램이 저소득층 초등학생의 심리적 안녕감, 자아존중감 및 우울에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was a quasi-experimental study of a non-equivalence comparison group to investigate an effect of adaptation of group counseling program based on MMTIC (Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children) on improvement of psychological well-being, self-esteem and depression for elementary school students from low income families. Data were collected from August 3 to August 31, 2016. The group counseling program based on MMTIC was applied to the experimental group 10 sessions (twice a week, 60minutes), participants were 56 elementary school students from low income families (experimental group = 28, control group = 28) live in J city. The effects of this study were evaluated with the scales for psychological well-being, self-esteem and depression. As a result, it was found that well-being and self-esteem had significantly improved, depression had noticeably decreased with the program. Therefore, It is should that the group counseling program based on MMTIC will be used for effective psychiatric nursing intervention.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Wind Corridor Construction forImproving Urban Thermal Environment: A Case study of Changwon, South Korea (도시 열환경 개선을 위한 취약지역 선정 및 바람길 조성 방안: 창원시를 대상으로)

  • This study examined the effectiveness of wind corridor construction by analyzing the thermal environment, cold air generation, ventilation, and geographical characteristics to improve urban thermal environment and establish the basis for specialized strategy in Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Using spatial analysis and remote sensing techniques, surface temperature, land cover and land use, wind field, and slope were measured and through this, a wind corridor analysis model was constructed. As a result of the analysis as of 2020, Changwon-si generally has land cover characteristics that are advantageous for the generation of cold air, but the temperature in most urban areas is the highest, and the temperature in areas such as north Changwon area, Jinbukmyeon, Ung-dong, and Ungcheon-dong are relatively high. There was a typical trend of high average wind speed in mountain regions and low average wind speed in urban areas. Accordingly, the north Changwon area, the former Changwon downtown area, the Hogye-ri and Pyeongseong-ri areas, and the Changpo Bay area are derived as vulnerable areas to thermal environment, and various measures to reduce temperature and improve air quality that the inflow of cold air into the area considering the characteristics of each area and securing wind ventilation between the surrounding mountains, reservoirs, and park areas were proposed.
