Authentication Scheme based on NTRU for the Protection of Payment Information in NFC Mobile Environment (NFC 모바일 환경에서 결제정보보호를 위한 NTRU 기반 인증 기법)

  • Recently, smart devices for various services have been developed using converged telecommunications, and the markets for near field communication (NFC) mobile services is expected to grow rapidly. In particular, the realization of mobile NFC payment services is expected to go commercial, and it is widely attracting attention both on a domestic and global level. However, this realization would increase privacy infringement, as personal information is extensively used in the NFC technology. One example of such privacy infringement would be the case of the Google wallet service. In this paper, we propose an mutual authentication scheme based on NTRU for secure channel in OTA and an zero-knowledge proof scheme NTRU based on for protecting user information in NFC mobile payment systems without directly using private financial information of the user.

  • The purpose of this study analyze consumer usage characteristics and product development guide of electronic pen based on TAM theory(Davies, 1989). Research methods apply contents analysis(qualitative research) and Activity/Inactivity analysis of main consumer participation. Research results are as follows. Active consumer indicated 30-49 age, male, office job and research fellow. And they suggested stable power supply system, App connected pen function extension, add the modified pen function, advanced data recognition of pen, advanced take note ability and stable grip feeling of pen, selected line width, synchronization improvement with other smart device and charging function. These result indicated the importance product improvement diffusion factor of early market to main market. The future research of electric pen focused on different product strategy between electric pen and smart device connected electric pen.

  • One time, Home video game console's penetration was as comparable to the personal computer's penetration, growth has slowed since the advent of smartphones, tablets and moblie devices. But game console actively introducing new IT technologies not available in the pc games and mobile games, still keeping a firm position in the relevent market.   • As the number of people who experience sleep disorders is increasily growing, users' desire to improve their sleep quality has also increased. Acoordingly, the 'Sleeptech' market is showing a steady growth. This study designs and proposes a system after consideration of existing related research that can help modern people overcome sleep disorders, which is based on the necessity for customized sleep hygien service. This system analyzes user's sleep data collected through smartphone built-in sensors to calculate sleep patterns, provides customized sleep hygiene-based solutions to users through collaborative filtering, and provides an environment suitable for sleep through the automatic control of IoT devices. This method of using sleep data is expected to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of modern people suffering from sleep disorders, which results from expansion to Sleeptech market as well as improvement of users' sleep habits.

Metaverse App Market and Leisure: Analysis on Oculus Apps (메타버스 앱 시장과 여가: 오큘러스 앱 분석)

  • The growth of virtual reality games and the popularization of blockchain technology are bringing significant changes to the formation of the metaverse industry ecosystem. Especially, after Meta acquired Oculus, a VR device and application company, the growth of VR-based metaverse services is accelerating. In this study, the concept that supports leisure activities in the metaverse environment is explored realting to game-like features in VR apps, which differentiates traditional mobile apps based on a smart phone device. Using exploratory text mining methods and network analysis approches, 241 apps registed in the Oculus Quest 2 App Store were analyzed. Analysis results from a quasi-network show that a leisure concept is closely related to various genre features including a game and tourism. Additionally, the anlaysis results of G & F model indicate that the leisure concept is distictive in the view of gateway brokerage role. Those results were also confirmed in LDA topic modeling analysis.

  • This study analyzed intra-regional disparities by using the concentration index of industrial organization theory. And the range of study is 11 cities in Chungcheongbuk-do province. This study aims to clarify the characteristics of the intra-regional disparities by using concentration ratio(CR) and Herfindahl-Hirschman Index. After the review of previous studies, we intend to study the intra-regional disparities using these two indexes. Target is the bio-health industry that all povinces in South Korea want to develop competitively. In addition the analysis was conducted by dividing the bio-health industry into four detailed fields(pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health functional foods, and cosmetics). These fields are based on the results of the city and county competitiveness-enhancing industry. The research results derived the intra-regional disparities index based on sales, the number of workers, and R&D expenses by detailed field. As a result it was confirmed that the strengths according to the detailed fields differed by region. It can be used as basic data in establishing differentiated industrial development strategies for each region in the future.

The Impact of Mobile Channel Adoption on Video Consumption: Are We Watching More and for Longer? (모바일 채널 수용이 고객의 동영상 소비에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 연구)

  • The advancement in mobile technology brought disruptive innovation in media industry. The introduction of mobile devices broke spatial and temporal restrictions in media consumption. This study investigates the impact of mobile channel adoption on video viewing behavior, using real-world dataset obtained from a particular on-demand service provider in South Korea. We find that the adoption of a mobile channel significantly increases the total viewing time of video-on-demand via TV and the number of contents viewed. Our results suggest that the mobile channels act as a complement channel to conventional TV channels. We provide theoretical and practical insights on consumer usage in the emerging over-the-top market.

  • Despite the effectiveness of oriental medical practice in the diagnosis of symptoms and providing cure to it, the preferences in western medicinal values is socially prevalent. The diagnosis of a disease using western medicinal practices provides us with an objective diagnostic result, however, decisions by oriental doctors are based on their heuristic intuitions developed by practice and experience. Objective solutions for the cure of symptoms using oriental medical therapy can have a high impact on the world market. Therefore, development of diagnostic machines based on oriental therapy can enhance the Ocular Inspection which is evaluated as one of the best diagnostic treatment among Oriental Medical Science, is not researched much compared to other diagnoses. Because there is no color diagnosis rules for digital machines to analyze the actual color, looking at the person's face color is one of the most important components to diagnose the disease or illness. The thesis proposes the implementation of absolute observing a person's face color standards of the color settings for objective diagnosis. As a results, comparative digital color analysis for observing a person's face color can be the most effective rule based Color scheme system to diagnose disease. A standard solution for the researching conditions is suggested to reduce the variable which may occur depending on the differences between the researching conditions.

  • The residual study of pesticide has been used in various areas, such as food safety, environmental protection, establishment of tolerance, and explaining the pathway and reaction mode of pesticides, and its importance was expected to increase further more. The aspect of food safety, the pesticide residue survey have been practiced at many organizations, but there were no verification of analytical results at present. In this experiment, we focused on instrumental stability, including response of each instrument and the recovery ratio of each organization's method. As samples for this experiment, we prepared cucumber and sesame, and chose 4 pesticides (bifenthrin, chlorpyrifos, diazinon, and ethoprophos), which were mostly detected from pesticide residue survey and widely used for each crop. The standard deviation of peak areas in the chromatogram of each pesticide were under 1.212 %, so it showed that most instruments were stable. The relationship of recovery ratio of each organization were over 0.996 for every pesticide and each organization. Finally, the analytical results for pesticide residue from each participated organization were not statically significant and we could put confidence in the result from each organization.

Animation Generation for Chinese Character Learning on Mobile Devices (모바일 한자 학습 애니메이션 생성)

  • There are many difficulties to develop a mobile contents due to many constraints on mobile environments. It is difficult to make a good mobile contents with only visual reduction of existing contents on wire Internet. Therefore, it is essential to devise the data representation and to develop the authoring tool to meet the needs of the mobile contents market. We suggest the compact mobile contents to learn Chinese characters and developed its authoring tool. The animation which our system produces is realistic as if someone writes letters with pen or brush. Moreover, our authoring tool makes a user generate a Chinese character animation easily and rapidly although she or he has not many knowledge in computer graphics, mobile programming or Chinese characters. The method to generate the stroke animation is following: We take basic character shape information represented with several contours from TTF(TrueType Font) and get the information for the stroke segmentation and stroke ordering from simple user input. And then, we decompose whole character shape into some strokes by using polygonal approximation technique. Next, the stroke animation for each stroke is automatically generated by the scan line algorithm ordered by the stroke direction. Finally, the ordered scan lines are compressed into some integers by reducing coordinate redundancy As a result, the stroke animation of our system is even smaller than GIF animation. Our method can be extended to rendering and animation of Hangul or general 2D shape based on vector graphics. We have the plan to find the method to automate the stroke segmentation and ordering without user input.
