Experimental Study on Cooling Performance of Multi-Heat Pump by Indoor-Unit Combination (실내기 조합에 따른 3실형 열펌프의 냉방성능 실험연구)

  • In order to investigate the cooling capacity of multi-heat pump applying an inverter compressor, the experiment on the cooling performance characteristics of heat pump with 3 indoor units was performed under the cooling standard and cooling low-temperature conditions. The system data were measured by the psychrometric calorimeter. The operation characteristics and the behavior of the cooling cycle of the heat pump with 3 indoor units were understood from the cooling capacity, COP, and P-h diagram by indoor-unit combination. The operating load and performance of the multi-heat pump depends on the indoor-unit combination. The cooling capacity and COP of the low temperature condition were larger than those of the standard one. Also the cycle was analyzed by using P-h diagram.

A Study on the Characteristics and Sustainability of Social Cooperatives (사회적 협동조합의 특성과 지속가능성에 관한 연구)

  • Korea's social cooperatives were enacted by law in December 2012. However, it is in the process of being settled and has not been established institutionally. So social cooperatives are failing. The purpose of this study is to reduce these failures. To this end, this study distinguished between co-operatives and social co-operatives. Also, the characteristics and concepts were identified. That is why we want to help our social cooperatives in Korea. The results based on the literature research are as follows. First, in order for domestic social co-operatives to be sustainable, the seven principles of co-operatives must be observed. In particular, the sixth principle is important. It is important to form a social cooperative association and to communicate with local cooperatives. Their communication is less likely to fail because they can share management support information, education, promotion, and strategies. Second, there is a need for a plan that can be applied not only to the government but also to general enterprises in order to support social co-operatives. Third, related policies of the government and the private sector should be designed and managed in an integrated manner to promote social cooperatives. Fourth, public relations should be promoted through campaigns to inform the public that the meaning of social cooperatives is for the public good. In addition, the government needs to build a program that fosters professionals who can foster social co-operatives. In conclusion, it is meaningful that this study suggests possible ways to develop social co-operatives in Korea, and provides support to the Korean government.

Stabilizing Inverted Pendulum System Using Fuzzy Controller Based on State Variables Combination (상태변수 조합 퍼지 제어기를 이용한 도립진자 시스템의 안정화)

  • The inverted pendulum system is a common, interesting control problem that involves many basic elements of control theory. In the early, controls of stabilization for the inverted pendulum system were used classical methods like PD, PID controller. In recently, however, control methods based on modern and intelligent control theory are widely applied. The fuzzy logic controller which is often used in nonlinear control is a little too hard to design due to increasing fuzzy rules rapidly if the given system like inverted pendulum has many state variables. Also, in case the state variables are divided into two parts, two fuzzy controllers are needed in the control system. In this paper, the authors propose FCSC(Fuzzy Controller based on State variables Combination) that reorganized into two new signals depending on the physical meaning of the four state variables of the inverted pendulum system. The proposed method is applied to the inverted pendulum system and simulations are accomplished to illustrate the control performance.

ECO(Electro-Coagulation & Oxidation) 공법에서 전극 및 전류밀도에 따른 축산폐수 처리특성 변화

  • 본 연구에서는 전극의 특성에 따른 돈사유래 축산폐수의 ECO 공법에 의한 처리특성을 평가하기 위해 ECO 시스템 모듈내 Fe-Fe 및 Al-Al 계열의 용해성 전극과 Al-SUS, Ir-SUS 등 불용성 전극을 대상으로 5$\sim$20mA/cm$^2$의 전류밀도하에서 축산폐수내 유기물 및 영양염류의 제거특성을 평가하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 전기응집산화에 의한 축산폐수의 처리시 수중 유기물질 및 영양염류의 제거효율은 전류밀도의 증가에 비례하여 증가한다. 2. 불용성 전극조합 및 불용성-용해성 전극조합은 전류밀도가 높을수록 수중 유기물 및 오염물질 제거효율이 안정되고, 용해성 전극은 15mA/cm$^2$ 이하의 저 전류밀도의 조건하에서 전류밀도의 증가에 따라 안정된 제거효율 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 3. 불용성전극 조합인 Ir-SUS 전극조합을 사용하여 축산폐수를 처리할 경우 COD$_{Mn}$ 제거효율을 약 10% 향상시킬 수 있으며, TN 20mA/cm$^2$에서 Al-Al 전극조합과 TP 15mA/cm$^2$ 이하에서 Fe-Fe 전극조합은 제거효율이 저하되는 경향이 나타난다.

Off-Line Recognition of Unconstrained Handwritten Korean Words using Over-Segementation and Lexicon Driven Post-Processing Techniques (과다 분리 및 사전 후처리 기법을 이용한 한글이 포함된 무제약 필기 문자열의 오프라인 인식)

  • 본 논문에서는 오프라인 무제약 필기 한글 단어를 인식하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 단어 인식 시스템은 크게 다석가지 모듈-문자 분리,조합행렬생성, 특징 추출, 문자인식, 사전 후처리 -로 구성되어 있다. 문자 분리 모듈은 입력된 단어 영상을 하나의 문자보다 더 작은 이미지 조각으로 과다 분리하며 , 조합 행렬 생성모듈에서는 동적 프로그래밍 기법을 이용하여 분리된 이미지 조각들로부터 사전상의 모든 단어들과 대응되는 가능한 모든 조합을 생성한다. 문자인식모듈은 각 그룹에 대하여 일괄적으로 얻어진 특징과 유니그램을 이용하여 문자인식을 수행한다. 마지막으로 사전 후처리 모듈에서는 각 그룹에 대한 문자인식 결과와 단어 사전을 사용하여 입력단어에 대한 최종 인식 결과를 도출한다. 본 문에서 제안한 방법은 문자 분리, 문자 인식 및 후처리를 상호 보완적으로 결합함으로써 한글이 포함된 무제약 필기 문자열을 효과적으로 인식할 수 있다. 제안된 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 실제 우편 봉투 상에 쓰여진 필기 한글 단어 200개를 대상으로 실험을 하였다. 실험 결과 200개의 단어중 172개의 단어를 정인식하여 86%의 정확도를 얻을 수 있었으며 나머지 28개의 오인식된 단어들을 분석한 결과 대부분의 오류는 문자 인식기의 낮은 신뢰도 때문임을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 하나의 단어를 인식하기 위하여 약 2초가 소요되었다.

Multiple-Output Combinational Digital Logic Systems based on Decision Diagram (결정도에 기초한 다중출력조합디지털논리시스템)

  • This paper presents a design method for multiple-output combinational digital logic systems using time domain based on multiplexing(TDBM) and common multi-terminal extension decision diagrams(CMTEDD). The CMIEDDs represents extension valued multiple-output functions, while TDBM systems transmit several signals on a single lines. The proposed method can reduce the 1)hardware, 2)logic levels and 3)pins. In the logic system design, we use two types of decision diagrams(DDs), that is the common binary decision diagrams(CBDDs) and CMTEDDs. Also, we propose an algorithms to derive common multiple-terminal binary decision diagrams(CMTBDD) from CBDDs, and CMTEDDs from CMTBDDs. The CMTEDDs over CBDDs is more compactness in terms of number of non-terminal nodes, where the nodes for output selection variables are not included in the non-terminal nodes. In the logic design, each non-terminal nodes of an CBDDs and an CMTEDDs is realized by a multiplexer(MUX). In addition, we compare the proposed TDBM realization with the conventional one.

Evaluation of illuminant effect of NIR(Near Infrared Radiation) using spectrophotometer for medicine (의학용 분광광도계를 이용한 근적외선 대역의 조명 영향평가)

  • In this paper, we evaluated the effect with respect to the light of 700-1,100 nm NIR(near infrared radiation) for spectrophotometer. Standard, red, yellow, green and blue color paper which was Munsell color paper were used for experiments. Our used light is incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp, invert fluorescent lamp and combined lamp. Each color paper was measured 20 times. Therefore we concluded that it is possible to build a spectrophotometer for NIR(near infrared radiation) measurement we applied an spectrophotometer to measurement system in incandescent lamp.
