A Study on AR Algorithm Modeling for Indoor Furniture Interior Arrangement Using CNN

  • In this paper, a model that can increase the efficiency of work in arranging interior furniture by applying augmented reality technology was studied. In the existing system to which augmented reality is currently applied, there is a problem in that information is limitedly provided depending on the size and nature of the company's product when outputting the image of furniture. To solve this problem, this paper presents an AR labeling algorithm. The AR labeling algorithm extracts feature points from the captured images and builds a database including indoor location information. A method of detecting and learning the location data of furniture in an indoor space was adopted using the CNN technique. Through the learned result, it is confirmed that the error between the indoor location and the location shown by learning can be significantly reduced. In addition, a study was conducted to allow users to easily place desired furniture through augmented reality by receiving detailed information about furniture along with accurate image extraction of furniture. As a result of the study, the accuracy and loss rate of the model were found to be 99% and 0.026, indicating the significance of this study by securing reliability. The results of this study are expected to satisfy consumers' satisfaction and purchase desires by accurately arranging desired furniture indoors through the design and implementation of AR labels.

Factors associated with the Prevalence of Depression and Suicidal Ideation among Single-Person Households (1인 독거가구 중 우울증 유병과 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study utilized the data from 2017, 2019 Korean National Health and Nutrition Survey to analyze the factors influencing depression and suicidal ideation among single-person households. For the analysis, demographic and economic variables as well as health status/behavior variables were considered. Activity restriction (OR: 4.753, p-value: <.0001) and smoking status (OR: 2.013, p-value: 0.044) were significantly associated with depression, and in terms of suicidal ideation, household income (OR: 3.526, p-value: 0.043), subjective health status (OR: 2.945, p-value: 0.007), activity restriction (OR: 2.263, p-value: 0.003) and smoking status (OR: 2.000, p-value: 0.023) showed significant association. In this regard, single-person households are likely to experience psychological angst, and further experience mental problems due to socio-economic and physical crisis. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a social network system in the community to detect those in need and provide appropriate interventions to prevent harmful outcomes.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a new system and standards of system furniture for promoting the efficiency of a l living space in order to cope with any possible change of a resident’s lifestyle. For this purpose, the study premises that the i idea of "flexibility" can provide a solution to problems with the resident’s current living space, and furthermore, it can fulfill the r resident’ s needs of a flexible living space. The results of this study is as follows: First, a new furniture system is necessary so that a resident can adjust one’s living space. Second, a plan for flexible interior s space can meet a current resident's demand of a flexible living space, not to mention an initial resident's ..   • 본 논문은 전기 누진요금제의 문제점과 이를 해결하기 위한 해결책으로 드론을 이용한 전력량계 자동 검침 시스템을 제안한다. 전력 사용량을 줄이기 위해 도입된 누진요금제가 도입 의도와는 달리 검침인력부족으로 인한 가구별 검침 시간 차이로 인해 같은 전기량을 사용하더라도 더 많은 요금을 부과 받게 되는 가정이 발생함에 따라 형평성에 대한 논란을 낳았다. 따라서 인건비 상승을 피하고 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 검침원을 대신해 드론이 공중에서 비행하며 여러 가구를 대상으로 사용량 정보를 수집하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 통해 검침 시간의 차이를 줄여 형평성을 보장하고 측정 데이터를 수기로 기록할 필요 없이 즉각적으로 데이터화 할 수 있다. 또한 사람이 닿기 힘든 오지에서 활용한다면 인력을 사용하는 것 보다 효과적이고 더 나은 편의성을 제공해 줄 수 있다.

  • The district heating system supports currently 1.3 million of houses in South Korea, and it is composed of two main parts: provision and distribution. For the provision part, Korea District Heating Corporation supervises the system with proper devices and experts, whereas for the distribution parts, there is no main supervision system and it depends highly on experts although it is very difficult to find the proper experts. In this paper, we consider IoT based remote management system for district heating distribution to properly supervise heating distribution by experts and/or programs remotely.

  • Purpose: This study investigated medical accessibility on optical stores and ophthalmic clinics of Seoul Special City and six other metropolitan cities. Methods: By using a number of households, population, optician stores, ophthalmic hospitals, and real estate (apartments) standard market price of Seoul Special City and six other metropolitan cities provided by the Commercial District Information System (2016.6) of Small Enterprise & Market Authority, we analyzed the level of healthcare accessibility and business area zones, Statistical analyses were performed with SPSS 18.0. Results: Inchon (household 2,227/population 5,723) had the highest household and population rate per optical store, and Gwangju (1,146/2,979) had the lowest. Gwangju (24,612/63,987) had the highest household and population rate per optical store, and Seoul (10,021/24,432) had the lowest. From the consumer and patient's point of view, lower household rate per optical store is a city with good accessibility to healthcare, but from an optical store and ophthalmic clinic's view, it will have great difficulty due to issues of competition. Conclusions: Consumers and patients should be the center of healthcare. A healthcare system that can provide smooth service anywhere anytime should be constructed. However, most metropolitan cities, including Seoul, have optical stores and ophthalmic clinics densely populated where profitability and liquidity are ensured and causing unbalanced distribution of healthcare. To solve such problems, we need proper distribution of optician stores according to the population proportion and industrial-educational research to find balance point of local healthcare.

  • Along with the recent increase in national income, social phenomena such as aging due to a decrease in population and an increase in single households are observed. There are also an increasing number of households raising pets in proportion to aging households and the increase in the number of single households, most of which use animal companions to overcome loneliness and boost domestic vitality. As more and more people consider pets as family members, the size of the domestic pet market is also growing. The growing number of pets in older households and single households is not properly managed by care such as food meals and exercise management for pets. It is necessary to research and develop robots that can monitor animal companions remotely, feed a certain amount of food at regular intervals, and manage their health through exercise. Among pet companions, dog selection is the highest. Therefore, this study identified robot research on driving methods, examples of existing pet care systems, and researched pet care robots using obstacle avoidance algorithms. In order to use the snack pay behavior and obstacle avoidance algorithm of the pet animals by applying IoT and we .oPI technology, it is able to use ultrasonic sensors on the front and has four infrared sensors on the back. However, this study does not reflect the characteristics of other pet animals as a study on pet care robots, and it requires continuous observation and testing.

  • During earthquake, the safety control plane at home is very important to prepare the turnover and falling accident of furniture as a disaster measures. But a lot of people might not have knowledge and education on the safety control plane at home such as the fixing of furniture. Therefore, in this study, the test application of iPhone was developed to enlighten and educate them using the smart phone. Through this application, residents, furniture store employees, moving service workers, builders and etc. will be able to understand the safety control plane at home.

  • 최근 국내에는 실업률 상승, 혼인률 하락 등 청년층 생애주기 변화, 단독거주, 고령층의 증가에 따라 1인 가구가 빠른 속도로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 추세는 지속될 것으로 예상되어 1인 가구를 겨냥한 맞춤형 보안솔루션에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사물 인터넷 기술을 적극적으로 접목할 수 있을 것으로 기대되는 디지털 도어락의 구현에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 사물 인터넷 기술은 5G 시대의 도래에 따라 다시금 주목받고 있다. 이는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 기반 기술로 주요 IT 기업들이 상용화 기술 확보를 추진하고 있는 상황이다. 한편 디지털 도어락은 열쇠가 필요하지 않으며 위급상황이나 안전상황에 클릭 한번으로 출동 요원의 출동을 곧바로 요청할 수 있어 고객에게 편의성과 보안성을 제공한다. 하지만 비밀번호 방식의 디지털 도어락은 주기적으로 비밀번호를 교체해주지 않는 이상 지속적으로 같은 자리의 버튼만을 누르게 된다. 이렇게 되면 해당 위치에 지문이 남아서 비밀번호가 노출될 위험이 있다. 그러나 사물 인터넷 기술을 이용한 디지털 도어락을 사용하게 된다면 안전한 도어락 사용으로 주거 보안을 실현할 수 있다. 따라서 1인 가구를 노리는 범죄를 예방하기 위해 라즈베리 파이와 아두이노의 UART 통신, 머신러닝 CV를 이용하여 얼굴 인식으로 동일인임을 판단하는 디지털 도어락을 구현했다.

  • The increase in single-person households and the development of Home IoT technology make it important to improve the convenience of the residential environment. In addition, the increase in indoor activities caused by COVID-19 calls for the development of products to make life more convenient for single-person households. This trend of increased indoor activity has made it easier to interact with the current residential environment than before, and as a result, the need to develop technology for Home IoT is emerging. Therefore, the Home IoT system will be developed to monitor the information needed to maintain an ideal indoor environment such as temperature, humidity, and fine dust. The system will also interact with users, and propose a system that improves safety in indoor activities by equipping the home with IoT sensors for preventing safety accidents such as gas leakage and fire.
