Implementation of the Grid-Based Research System Supporting Remote Experiment Replay using Distributed Streaming Server (분산 스트리밍 서버를 이용한 원격 실험 재연을 지원하는 그리드 기반 연구 시스템의 구현)

  • We propose an grid-based research system that replays the experiment by storing and reusing the previous experiment result data in performing remote experiment from a distance. The proposed system was designed for the real-time hybrid test facility which is being built in Korea Construction Engineering Development(KOCED) Project. To provide users with various data, the experiment result data are maintained by the distributed streaming servers based on the publish/subscribe paradigm. Based on the data characteristics of our project, we compared analyzed the performance of the one-streaming-server case and the distributed-multiple-streaming-server case.

  • 국지성 호우의 증가로 인해 도시 지역의 내수침수피해가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 특히 배수의 흐름이 집중되는 저지대 지역과 노후화된 하수관거가 설치된 지역에서 특히 피해가 집중되고 있으며, 이는 도로 측면에 설치된 빗물받이와 같은 하수시설에서 원활하게 배수가 되지 않기 때문에 강우 발생시 도로표면에 노면수가 정체되어 피해가 발생하고 있다. 과거 도로 노면의 형상과 강우의 임계 지속시간을 고려한 적정 우수 유출량 산정에 관한 연구가 진행된 바 있으나, 현재 발생하는 국지성 호우의 형태나 강우강도의 변화에 따른 유출량의 변화가 발생하였으며, 도달시간 산정식에 따른 매개변수의 차이와 새로운 도달시간 산정식의 개발로 도달시간의 결과가 크게 차이가 날 수 있다. 따라서 도로의 침수피해를 막고 교통 안정을 유지하기 위해서는 도로 조건을 고려한 도로 입구 및 하수관의 적절한 설계 등 다양한 연구가 주기적으로 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 강우 유출 모델인 SWMM 모형과 계산식을 이용하여 도로 표면의 폭과 길이, 도로 종횡단의 변화량, 재 산정한 강우강도에 따른 유출량을 계산하였다. 도로 표면의 폭과 길이, 경사를 다양하게 입력하였으며, 또한 각 Case에 따라 최대 유출량을 생성하는 임계지속기간을 결정하고 다양한 도달시간 산정식의 결과와 비교하여 상관관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 도달시간은 산정식의 매개변수에 따라 차이가 발생하였으며, 도로표면의 길이와 횡단경사에 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었으며, 횡단경사보다 종단경사가 클 경우 도달시간이 길어져 유량의 집중을 막는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 기존 저수지 농업용수는 주로 논의 벼재배 용수공급을 목적으로 설계되었지만, 논 지역 타작물 재배 지원 등의 정책으로 논에서 밭으로 전작화가 증가함에 따라 농업용수의 효율적 분배를 위한 논의 전작화 패턴 분석이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공데이터 포털의 2019년 팜맵을 활용하여 최신 경지 현황을 파악하고, 환경부의 2007년, 2019년 토지피복지도를 이용하여 전작화 패턴을 분석하였다. 구축된 팜맵과 토지피복지도는 환경부 토지피복분류 기준 농업지역 중분류로 일치시켜 분석에 활용되었다. 논, 밭, 시설재배지 등의 농경지 이용 현황 및 전작화 추이는 전국 단위, 권역 단위로 분석되었고, 주요 시도와의 공간적 거리를 전작화 영향인자로 설정하여 DUP(Degree of Urban Proximity) 등의 지표로 그 영향을 확인하였다. 또한, 전체 경지 중 논, 밭의 면적과 증감 추이를 ACR(Area Change Rate) 등의 지표로 전작화 규모를 파악하였고, LPI(Largest Patch Index), LSI(Landscape Shape Index) 등의 지표로 개별/집단화 전작의 패턴분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구로 제시된 저수지 수혜 구역별 논의 전작화 패턴은 논 벼재배와 농업용수 수요 특성이 상이한 밭작물에 안정적 용수공급 체계 구축 등의 기초자료로 활용 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

  • In Korea, the risk of fire in buildings is increasing. Therefore, efforts are needed to reduce casualties and property damage. Accordingly, it is important to limit the flashover so that the fire inside the building does not expand to the outside. Flashover refers to the generation of upward airflow after the fire in the compartment, and when combustible gas accumulates in the upper part of the fire chamber and reaches about 500℃, explosive expansion combustion occurs inside the compartment. This can suppress flashover due to limitations on building interior materials. To this end, internal limitations are being implemented at home and abroad through standards related to internal materials. In this paper, we intend to secure basic data on domestic fire safety design by comparing domestic and foreign standards and reviewing the Japanese housing interior design manual.

The berthing energy is used as one q the criteria to determine the maximum permissible load of fender as well as important factors to establish the berthing speed and the required power r! tug-beat for pilot and ship operator. In this study, some problems r! present the method of berthing energy are discussed on the basis of the hydrodynamic aspects. Then, series calculations of berthing energy are carried out considering the effect of water depth on added mass and the ship shape for container series from 1,600TEU to 12,000TEU.

Study on Seismic Fragility Analysis of Water Supply Facilities (상수도 시설물의 지진 취약도)

  • In this study, The failure of water supply facilities is categorized into two phases: functional failure and complete collapse. The fragility curve of water supply facilities under PGA has been developed for two loading cases: actual overseas earthquake and Korean artificial earthquake. The seismic fragility of water supply facilities has been analyzed and compared about failure phases and PGA. From the analysis results, the probability of failure of the wrapped steel pipe and ductile case iron pipe under Korean artificial earthquake has been shown as lower than that under actual overseas earthquake in the range from 0.1 to 0.4. The suggested seismic fragility curve by using Korean artificial earthquake can be exploited in a reasonable seismic design reflecting Korean local ground condition.

  • Improper backfill materials and compaction controls under pipelines have become one of the major causes of failure in many sewage pipeline systems. A study on backfill materials and compaction controls has been considered for a long time. However, structural supporters under the pipe were recently concerned because of pipeline repair and maintenance. This paper presents a prefabricated plastic foundation for supporting a sewage pipe system and increasing the performance function of the pipes. Several analytical models for the plastic foundations were investigated using finite-element program, ABAQUS, for checking safety. Comparing with the results of analyses, some of economic design sections based on the sizes of pipe diameters, 600mm, 700 and 600mm, were evaluated. These results could be applied to a pipeline system with a prefabricated plastic foundation with respect to pipe diameters and buried depths.

  • This research concentrates on the potential explosion hazards that could arise from unforeseen accidents in the rapidly proliferating hydrogen refueling stations and Energy Storage System(ESS) facilities. It underscores the pivotal role of structural protection technology in alleviating such risks. The research contributes primary data for the formulation of structure protection design by assessing the impact resistance across various reinforcement techniques used in cement composites. The experimental results elucidate that reinforced concrete, serving as the quintessential structural material, exhibits a 20% advancement in impact resistance in comparison to its non-reinforced counterpart. In situations typified by rapid loads, such as those seen with high-velocity impacts, the reinforcement of the matrix with fibers is demonstrably more beneficial than local reinforcement. These insights accentuate the importance of judiciously choosing the reinforcement method to augment impact resistance in structural design.

  • In the case of an elevated railway station, structure borne noise and vibration due to structural limitations allow the load and vibration from railway vehicles to be directly transmitted to the station structure, resulting in an increase in the number of civil complaints from customers and staff of the station. The floating slab track system, which is well known as one of the solutions for reducing the noise and vibration from elevated railway stations, usually contains rubber mounts or rubber pads under the railway slab which act as a damper. These types of device have the disadvantage that is difficult to predetermine the exact stiffness and damping ratio under the nonlinear loads resulting from train services. In this study, an isolator with a friction type of wedge is introduced, which can be applied to floating slab track systems and to be designed with precisely the required stiffness. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of the stiffness between the designed and experimental values is carried out, while the damping ratio, which is closely related to the friction wedge blocks, is deduced according to the train load condition. The performance tests of the isolator were conducted in accordance with the DIN 45673-7 standard which includes both static and dynamic load tests. The load conditions for the performance tests are designed to conform to the DIN standard related to the weight of the train and rail track, in order to perform vertical and horizontal load tests, so as to ensure the secure structural safety of the railway. Also, by checking the change aspect of the friction coefficients of the friction elements according to the loading rate, the vibration reduction performance of the friction type isolator with variable loading rate conditions is examined.
