A study on the User Importance-satisfaction of Interior Space in University Group Study Room (대학교 그룹스터디룸 계획요소의 중요도 및 만족도에 대한 연구)

  • University campuses try to satisfy students' demands. Therefore, the physical environment of university campuses keeps changing. Due to the increasing the number of students and shortage of school building facilities, it is necessary to improve the facilities and create new space in the campus, in order to solve this problem and improve the universities. At the moment, the learning method of university students is evolving toward discussion sessions involving fellow students and presentations utilizing multimedia facilities. In response to these changes, a new type of independent space has appeared, which is called the Group Study Room. In this study, we analyze the spatial characteristics of the Group Study Room. Also, through an IPA(Importance Performance Analysis), this study tries to examine the relationship between the spatial characteristics and users' satisfaction. This analysis is expected to reveal the importance of the spatial characteristics of the group study rooms from the users' point of view. This research can be used for facility planning in universities in the future. The primary aim of this study is to analyze the physical environment of the Group Study Rooms of K university. The secondary aim of this study is to manifest the characteristics of these new learning spaces and to check the space elements of the group study rooms for the sake of efficient planning and management.

A Behavior Test on a Frictional-Wedge-Type Vibration Isolation Device for Vibration Reduction of a Railway Track (열차 진동 저감을 위한 마찰쐐기형 방진장치의 거동 시험)

  • In the case of railway facilities in cities such as a railway station or a bridge, the significance of design for reducing vibration and noise is getting more significant. The vibration control solution is in need especially for an elevated railway station to block vibration of a train and secondary noise effectively. Even though a vertical vibration isolation device is able to be applied effectively to railway facilities such as elevated railway stations which transfer vibration directly from a train to a structure, the development of the vertical device is much slower than a horizontal vibration isolation device. In this paper, a vibration isolation device using wedge type friction material which is currently developing to reduce train-induced vibration effectively is introduced and test results for verification of dynamic performance is also presented. The vibration test on a concrete structure equipped with the developed vibration isolation device is conducted through which the isolation performance and dynamic properties are verified and needs for improving the performance of the device is identified.

  • The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reported that the amount of precipitation in South Korea would increase regardless of the reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. Moreover, the temporal and spatial rainfall variation would also increase in the future. Due to the geographic allocation of Korea, more than 80% of the annual precipitation occurs in the wet season from early July to late September. It is expected that the average precipitation in this period will increase from the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) scenario projections. These predictions imply an increased variability of available water resources. Rainwater harvesting system is widely used as an alternative water resources today. This study introduces a RBSN (rain barrel sharing network) as an efficient way to utilize alternative water resources under the RCP scenarios. The concept of RBSN combines individual rainwater harvesting system to a sharing network, which make the whole system more reliable. This study evaluated a RBSN in South Korea composed of four users based on a storage-reliability-yield (SRY) relationship. The study area comprises all 17 provincal areas in South Korea. The result showed a huge benefit from a RBSN in Korea under the historical rainfall condition. Even in the climate change condition, the results showed that a RBSN is still beneficial but the changes in reliability are different depending on provinces in Korea. The results of this study shows that a RBSN is a very effective and alternative measure that can deal with the impacts of climate change in the near future.

A Study on the Effect of Experience Types of Experience Economic Theory on the Revisit Intention of Healing Agricultural Participants: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Satisfaction (체험경제이론의 체험유형이 치유농업참가자의 재방문의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 만족도의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors that are causal and intention to revisit healing agricultural facilities and to identify the relationship between factors. the effect of experience type was analyzed on revisit intention by using facility experience satisfaction as a meditator for healing agriculture participants. The sub-variables of experience types were divided into educational experience, devious experience, entertainment experience, and aesthetic experience. 259 questionnaires collected from the people who experienced healing agriculture programs in the whole country were used for empirical analysis. The PROCESS macro v3.4 and SPSS v22.0 were used to analyze based on the singular simple mediation model which contains a single mediator. First, all types of experience had a positive (+) effect on satisfaction. Second, satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on revisit intention independently of experience type. Third, all types of experience had a positive (+) effect on revisit intention. Fourth, satisfaction mediated between experience type and revisit intention except for deviating experience among experience types. As a follow-up study, it is necessary to study for the adjustment of mediators other than the mediator introduced in the study or the controlled mediated analysis through the conditional process model in which the moderator variable is introduced.

Vehicle Collision Simulation for Roadblocks in Nuclear Power Plants Using LS-DYNA (LS-DYNA를 이용한 원자력발전소의 로드블록에 대한 차량 충돌 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper introduces a simulation method for the collision between roadblocks and vehicles using LS-DYNA. The need to evaluate the performance of anti-ram barriers to prepare for vehicle impact has increased since vehicle impact threats have been included as a design criterion for nuclear power plants. Anti-ram barriers are typically certified for their performance through collision experiments. However, because Koreas has no performance testing facilities for anti-ram barriers, their performance can only be verified through simulations. LS-DYNA is a specialized program for collision simulation. Various organizations, including NCAC, distributes numerical models that have been validated for their accuracy with collision tests. In this study, we constructed a finite element model of the most critical vehicle barrier module and simulated collision between roadblocks and vehicles. The calculated results were verified by applying the validation criteria for vehicle safety facility collision simulations of NCHRP 179.

  • The underground utility tunnel is an infrastructure facility that accommodates and manages the city's lifelines such as water supply, sewage, power, and communications, and is an urban infrastructure that can paralyze the entire city if it is damaged by disasters such as fire, earthquake, or flooding. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the safety of the underground utility tunnel from disasters. For disaster safety management of underground tunnels, research is underway to detect risks in advance and prevent and respond using digital twin technology. Installing various sensor devices within the underground tunnel, monitoring and analyzing the collected environmental and situational data, detecting abnormal situations, and performing inference to support decision-making are key elements in the process of building a digital twin of the underground tunnel for disaster safety. Sensors that collect the most basic data for constructing underground tunnel digital twins can malfunction temporarily or permanently due to factors such as unstable power supply, physical shock, humidity, dust, etc., so maintenance must be performed by determining malfunction through validation of sensor data. In this paper, we introduce a method to determine whether a sensor is malfunctioning through sensor data validation for an underground tunnel digital twin.

인터넷을 이용한 육상물류중개시스템 개발에 관한 연구

  • 오늘날 날로 증가하는 물류비는 개별 기업은 물론 국가 전체의 수출 경쟁력을 약화시키는 주요 원인으로 지적되고 있다. 그러나 그동안 우리나라에서는 물류비 절감을 위한 종합적이고 체계적인 대책이 이루어지지 못하였다. 특히 본 논문의 연구대상인 육상물류의 경우 그 비중이 전체 화물 운송의 60% 이상을 차지함에도 불구하고 심각한 교통체증 및 물류기반 시설의 미비 등으로 인하여 물류비가 계속 증가하는 양상을 보여 왔다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리나라 육상물류시스템이 안고 있는 문제점의 해결을 위한 방안들 중의 하나로 정보기술의 활용에 관한 내용을 다루고 있다. 즉 영세한 기업들도 누구나 손쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 인터넷을 이용한 육상물류중개시스템의 개발에 관한 내용을 소개하고 있다. 육상물류중개시스템은 복합화물주선업체인 (주) 대형물류와 함께 개발한 시스템으로 인터넷을 통하여 화주의 화물 운송의뢰를 접수받아 이를 여러 운송업체에게 제공해 주는 역할을 수행하게 된다. 특히 육상물류중개시스템은 화물의 운송과 관련하여 발생하는 다양한 정보들을 데이터베이스에 저장하여 두었다가 세관을 비롯한 터미널에 대한 각종 신고업무에 이용할 수 있으며, 이밖에도 교통정보 및 화물 위치정보 등 다양한 서비스를 제공해 줄 수 있다. 따라서 운송업체의 공차율을 줄이고 화주에게는 자신의 화물에 대한 정보를 실 시간으로 전달해 줄 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 또한 이러한 육상물류중개시스템은 현재 개발중인 통합데이터베이스를 기반으로한 항만물류원스톱서비스 시스템과 연계되어 차후에는 물류원스톱시스템으로 발전할 수 있을 것이다.용되어져 왔다. 그러나 MCRDR 이론이 적용된 전문가시스템들의 경우 MCRDR이론을 기본으로한 개발 툴로서 개발된 시스템들이 아니고 해당분야에서 MCRDR이론을 적용한 엔진을 직접 설계 구현하여 온 것이 사실이다.   • The purpose of this study is to introduce the Levying Garage Option on Car Buyers which has become operative firstly in Korea, and to suggest the way to activate the system, hearing the view of Jeju residents with positive and negative function of parking. Levying Garage Option on Car Buyer is the system to apply a law for establishing garages to all of vehicles. Especially this is proposed to correct the disorder of Local street night parking, to improve the fine view of street, and to recover the original function of street to residents. To make this system successful there should be separate solutions at the densely built up area as a result of survey. This study conduct the Logistic Regression Analysis for and against the system. If the more residents approve the system, we should concern about the several solutions such as easing the distance between the garage and street, regulating, and special plan for an apartment house, etc. The suggestions are as follows. First, the policy needs to ease the distance between the garage and street gradually. Second, the Jeju government need to offer the residents the incentive such as reduce or exempt the tax and make them establish the private parking lot with supplying the low interest loan. Third, there should be connected with the project to break up the fences of their houses.

A New Frontier for Biological Control against Plant Pathogenic Nematodes and Insect Pests I: By Microbes (식물병원성 해충과 선충 방제의 새지평 I: 미생물)

  • World-wide crop loss caused by insect pest and nematode reaches critical level. In Korea, similar crop loss has been gradually augmented in the field and greenhouse due to continuous crop rotation. The current methods on controlling herbivorous insects and plant parasitic nematodes are mostly depended on agro-chemicals that have resulted additional side-effect including occurrence of resistant insects and nematodes, environmental contamination, and accumulation in human body. To overcome the pitfalls, microbe-based control method have been introduced and applied for several decades. Here, we revised biological control using by the bacteria, fungi, and virus in order to kill insect and nematode and to attenuate its virulence mechanism. The introduced microbes mainly secreted out the hydrolysing enzymes and toxic compounds to target host membrane or cell wall directly. Indirectly, the microbe-triggered plant innate immunity against insects and nematodes was also reported. In conclusion, we provide a new frontier of microbe-based environmentally friendly procedure and effective methods to manage insects and nematodes.

개발사업으로 인한 토양손실량 예측 및 침사지 설계

  • 최근에 내무부에서는 개발사업으로 인한 토사유출 피해 중 인명과 재산 피해와 같은 재해 성격을 가진 대규모 토사유출을 사전에 미리 저감시킬 목적으로 재해영향평가제를 도입하여 추진하고 있다. 이에 따라 건설 엔지니어링 업계에서는 대규모 개발 사업으로 인한 가속화된 토양손실량 예측과 침사지 설계에 많은 관심이 쏟아지고 있으나 이 분야의 기술축적과 자료부족으로 과업수행에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 강좌에서는 이러한 엔지니어링 업계의 기술적인 어려움을 다소 나마 해소할수 있도록 개발사업으로 인한 가속화된 토양손실량 예측방법과 침사지 설계 기준에 대해 외국의 자료를 바탕으로 그 동안 국내에서 수행한 각종 재해영향평가 자료를 검토하여 제시한다. 먼저, 재해영향평가제의 취지, 토사유출과 재해, 토사유출 재해 저감대책 등에 대해 간략히 설명한다. 다음, 침식량 예측 방법으로 미국의 범용토양 손실공식(USEL) 방법의 적용 절차에 대해 구체적으로 소개한다. 침사지 설계 편에서는 침사지 설계 개념과 구체적인 설계 절차를 제시하고 참사지 규모의 결정방법을 소개한다. 본 강좌의 교재는 미국교통연구단(TRB)의 국립합동도로연구프로그램(NCHRP)#70 자료를 주로 참고하였다. 이 자료는 부록에 원본 전부를 수록하였다. 다만 아직 이 분야 연구가 미흡한 관계로 본 강좌에서는 재해저감 측면에서 합리적인 침사지 설계 기준을 완전히 제시하지 못하고 있다. 참고로 국립방재연구소의 박무종/강대환 연구팀이 기존의 재해영향평가서 자료 중에서 10개를 선정하여 침사지 소요수면적 산정, USEL 적용, 강우침식도 R의 산정 등에 대해 사례 조사 분석한 결과를 부록에 수록하였다.을 기해야 한다. 있다. 청주권의 무심천도 계획상은 대청댐의 물을 공급 받을수도 있도록 되어 있으나 현실상으로 상수도 원수로서의 공급마저도 매년 심한 원수 수질 문제(5-6월, 10월경의 취수장 부근의 부영양화 현상으로 인한 악취와 물 맛의 문제)를 1984년부터 겪고 있다. 이와 같이 도시권 하천의 수자원은 자연적, 인위적, 경제적, 법적, 제도적 여러 제한 요소로서 특성을 가지고 있으며 이는 날로 심해 가고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 최적 물관리 시스템의 개발이 새로이 시작하는 수자원 개발 사업에서는 계획 단계에서부터 절실히 요구되는 바이며 기존 시설물의 관리 운영은 과감히 그 운영 관리 기준을 보완 재 정비하여야 할 것이다. 지금까지 대부분의 수자원 종합 개발 계획이 홍수방이나 용수 공급 및 수력 개발 등에 주력하여 왔으나 이제는 보다 더 수자원의 환경 보전적 차원과 도시의 안정적 발달을 위한 지역 및 권역 계획과 연계지워져서 양적인 안정 공급과 더불어 질적인 향상과 연계지워서 경제-사회적 요구에 부응할 수 있도록 도시권의 수자원을 최적 관리할 수 있는 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다. 이는 각 도시 하천의 수자원의 정량적·정성적인 특성 및 제한 요소를 충분히 감안하여 수요-공급 개념에 의하여 과감히 기존 시설(예: 팔당댐의 운영, 대청댐의 운영 등)의 관리 운영 체계를 개선하여 나가야 할 것이며, 수질 보전적-환경 보전 차원에서 저수관리 체계를 확고히 할 수 있는 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다.펄스주입법에 의해 증착된 박박은 강유전성 이력을 나타내었다.지역과 비도시지역을 비교하는 조사 연구가 필요하며, 이러한 조사결과를 바탕으로 자녀의 식습관에 대
