Closed-Form Green's Function for the Analysis of Microstrip Structure (마이크로스트립 구조 해석을 위한 Closed-Form 그린 함수)

  • In the layered medium, the Sommerfeld integral must be evaluated to calculate a space domain Green's function. The real axis integration method provides stable and accurate results over wide ranges of the observation distance and the singnal frequency. But this method has the in efficiency of approximation when the field point z is changed. Also, as the amplitude of z increases, the change of the spectral domain function is more rapidly. Therefore, the approximation is difficult when z becomes larger. In this paper, we propose a method to calculate an accurate closed-form Green's function for microstrip structure by using the closed-loop integration path.

Linear and Nonlinear Analysis of Initially Stressed Elastic Solid (초기응력이 있는 탄성체의 선형 및 비선형해석 -플레이트 스트립을 중심으로)

  • The present paper develops finite element procedures to calculate displacements, strains and stresses in initially stressed elastic solids subjected to static or time-dependent loading conditions. As a point of departure, we employ Hamilton's principle to obtain nonlinear equations of motion characterizing the displacement in a solid. The equations of motion reduce to linear equations of motion if incremental stresses are assumed to be infinitesimal. In the case of linear problem, finite element solutions are obtained by Newmark's direct integration method and by modal analysis. An analytic solution is referred to compare with the linear finite element solution. In the case of nonlinear problem, finite element solutions are obtained by Newton-Raphson iteration method and compared with the linear solution. Finally, the effect of the order of Gauss-Legendre numerical integration on the nonlinear finite element solution, has been investigated.

  • In this paper, estimation angle performance analysis of amplitude-comparison monopulse radar under additive noise effect is dealt with. When uncorrelated white noises are added to the squinted beams, the angle estimation performance is analyzed through the mean square error(MSE). The numerical integration-based mean square error result completely overlaps the Monte Carlo-based mean square error result, which corresponds to 99.8% of the Monte Carlo-based mean square error result. In addition, the mean square error analysis method based on numerical integration has a much faster operation time than the mean square error method based on Monte Carlo. the angle estimation performance of the amplitude comparison monopulse radar can be efficiently analyzed in various noise environments through the proposed numerical integration-based mean square error method.

  • 3차원 파수조에서 완전 비선형파를 시뮬레이션하기 위하여 우선 랜킨 소스를 기저로한 적분방정식을 고차경계요소법을 이용하여 이산화하였다. 그리고 방사경계조건은 파흡수 비치와 포텐셜 스트레칭 기법을 이용하여 모델링하였으며, 비선형 자유표면과 경계조건식은 고차 예측 및 보정 기법을 이용하여 시간 적분하였다. 파흡수 비치는 파의 진행방향 특성에 따라 수조내에 다양하게 배치할 수 있으며 비칭서 흡수가 덜된 파는 수조의 길이 방향 끝단에서 포텐셜 스트레칭 기법에 의하여 반사없이 진행하도록 하였다. 수치실험 결과 일-에너지 보존법칙과 모멘텀-임펄스 보존 법칙이 만족됨으로써 본 수치기법의 효용성이 검증되었다.

  • In this paper, the dynamic stress intensity factors of fracture mechanics are numerically computed in time domain using the FEM. For which the finite element formulations are derived applying the Galerkin method to the equations of motion in convolution integral as has been presented in the previous paper. To assure the strain fields of r$^{-1}$ 2/ singularity near the crack tip, the triangular quarter-point singular elements are imbedded in the finite element mesh discretized by the isoparametric quadratic quadrilateral elements. Two-dimensional problems of the elastodynamic fracture mechanics under the impact load are solved and compared with the existing numerical and analytical solutions, being shown that numerical results of good accuracy are obtained by the presented method.

  • In the stream-aquifer setting, this study evaluated the effects of spatial variability in nonpoint sources and hydraulic conductivity on groundwater outflow concentration history. Monte Carlo experiments based on the advection-dispersion equation were used to determine the statistical moments of groundwater outflow concentration history. The comparison between a spatially distributed model and spatially integrated model (SID) was made in order to examine the possibility of applying SID to the problems of nonpoint source groundwater pollution.

  • 본 논문에서는 측정된 가속도신호만을 사용하여 변위응답을 추정하는 시간영역과 주파수영역에서의 동적 응답변환 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 본 알고리즘에서 사용되는 변환변위응답은 속도와 변위성분의 초기조건에 대한 정보 없이 측정된 가속도신호의 적분에 의하여 계산되며 실제 변위응답과 상관관계를 갖는다. 이에 측정된 구조물의 동적응답이 무재하부분과 자유진동부분을 포함하고 있을 때 변환응답을 보정하여 초기치 문제를 해결할 수 방법을 제시함으로써 가속도신호만을 사용하여 실제 변위응답을 추정할 수 있도록 하였다. 제시된 응답변환 알고리즘의 타당성을 평가하기위해 실교량에 대한 현장시험자료를 적용하여 변위응답을 추정하고 실측된 동적 변위와 비교하였다. 또한, 주파수영역에서의 응답변환에서 적분구간을 상이하게 사용함으로써 동적성분과 정적성분으로 분리된 추정응답을 평가할 수 있었으며 이에 따른 충격계수의 계산은 신뢰성 있는 평가방법임을 확인하였다.

  • The Green integral equation for the calculation of the forward-speed time-harmonic radiation-diffraction potentials IS derived. The forward-speed Green function presented by Brard is used and the correct free surface boundary condition for the Green function is imposed. The cause of the mistakes in the existing Green integral equation is also pointed out.

  • Integrating processes are frequently encountered in process industries. In this paper, new tuning formulae of the PID controllers for set-point tracking and load disturbance rejection are presented for integrating processes involving time delay. First, the controller parameter sets are tuned using a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA) such that performance criterion(IAE, ISE or ITSE) is minimized. Then, tuning rules are addressed using tuned PID parameter sets. tuning model and another RCGA. The performances of the proposed rules are tested on two processes.

  • 본 논문은 단로기의 조작 또는 전력기기의 고장시에 흐르는 급준성 대전류에 의하여 발생하는 자계의 측정이 가능한 새로운 센서의 개발에 대하여 기술한다. 동축케이블을 이용한 자기적분형 자계센서의 동작원리 및 설계방법 등에 대하여 이론적으로 해석하고 인가된 자계에 대한 센서응답을 정확하게 결정할 수 있는 교정실험을 수행하였다. 또한 센서의 동작원리에 상응하는 이론적 모델을 제안하였다. 시제작된 자계센서는 적분저항의 증가와 더불어 감지전압이 상승하고 감쇠시간은 줄어드는 특성을 나타내었다. 과도대전류에 의하여 유발되는 방사자계는 거리의 제곱에 반비례하는 특성을 보였으며 전자기기의 보호를 위한 전자차폐장치의 설계시 방사자계성분에 대한 영향을 고려하여야 됨을 확인하였다.
