Accuracy Estimation of Video Image Detector Considering Heteroscedasticity (이분산성을 고려한 영상검지기 정확도 추정)

  • The accuracy of a Video Image Detector (VID) is gradually reduced due to various environmental and mechanical factors. However, there has been no systematic research about the decrease of VID accuracy. To maintain a proper level of VID accuracy for advanced traffic management, a regular VID calibration process needs to be introduced. However, the calibration cannot be performed frequently because of the cost. In this study, the researchers collected field data for accuracy estimation and inferred an accuracy decreasing function by using regression and considering the heteroscedasticity problem. Using the invented data collection equipment which was used for checking adaptability, some data in the field were collected and analyzed. Although the data were limited, the results are promising. More data need to be investigated in the future and this study will help to maintain the data quality for broad utilization of the data in ITS centers.

A Study on the Construction of Historical Profiles for Freeway Travel Time Forecasting (고속도로 통행시간 예측을 위한 과거 통행시간 이력자료 구축에 관한 연구(지점 검지기를 중심으로))

  • The objective of this study is to propose methods for determining optimal representative value and the optimal size of historical data for reliable travel time forecasting. We selected values with the smallest mean of forecasting errors as the optimal representative value of travel time pattern data. The optimal size of historical data used was determined using the CVMSE(Cross Validated Mean Square Error) method. According to the results of applying the methods to point vehicle detection data of Korea Highway Corporation, the optimal representative value were analyzed to be median. Second, it was analyzed that 60 days' data is the optimal size of historical data usedfor travel time forecasting.

Design of an Efficient PC Cluster using a Very Large Idle PCs on Internet (인터넷상의 대규모 유휴 PC들을 사용한 효율적인 PC Cluster의 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에서 대규모의 유휴 PC들을 연산에 활용하는 PC Cluster시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 인터넷상의 노드는 i)이질적이고, ii)각 노드의 신뢰성이 확보되지 않는 특징을 갖는다. 또한 각각의 노드는 iii)지역 작업을 가질 수 있다. 작업 할당시 연산에 참여하는 노드의 이력 정보와 유휴상태를 함께 고려하여 작업을 할당함으로서 i), ii)를 고려한 PC클러스터링 방법을 제안하였다. 작업 할당시 노드의 이전 작업들의 처리에 대한신뢰성과, 작업 반환 시간을 고려하여 작업을 노드에 할당함으로써 신뢰성이 떨어지는 노드와 평균 반환 시간이 상대적으로 다른 노드들에 비해 큰 노드에 대해서 작업 할당을 가능한 줄임으로써 전체 작업의 신뢰성을 높일 수 있고 평균 작업 반환 시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 제안한 방법에서는 iii)의 지역 작업을 가질 수 있는 인터넷상의 서로 다른 성능의 이질적인PC로 Cluster를 구축할 경우 보다 적합한 Self-Scheduling을 사용함으로서 효율적으로 작업할당이 가능하도록 하였다. 제안한 방법은 지역 작업을 갖고 있는 인터넷상의 대규모 PC들로 구성된 신뢰성 있는 PC클러스터 구축을 가능하도록 한다.

Nonlinear Structural Safety Assessment under Dynamic Excitation Using SFEM (추계론적 유한 요소법을 이용한 동하중을 받는 비선형 구조물의 안전성 평가)

  • To assess the safety of nonlinear steel frame structures subjected to short duration dynamic loadings, especially seismic loading, a nonlinear time domain reliability analysis procedure is proposed in the context of the stochastic finite element concept. In the proposed algorithm, the finite element formulation is combined with concepts of the response surface method, the first order reliability method, and the iterative linear interpolation scheme. This leads to the stochastic finite element concept. Actual earthquake loading time-histories are used to excite structures, enabling a realistic representation of the loading conditions. The assumed stress-based finite element formulation is used to increase its efficiency. The algorithm also has the potential to evaluate the risk associated with any linear or nonlinear structure that can be represented by a finite element algorithm subjected to seismic loading or any short duration dynamic loading. The algorithm is explained with help of an example and verified using the Monte Carlo simulation technique.

A New Methodology for the Assessment of Liquefaction Potential Based on the Dynamic Characteristics of Soils (II) : Verification (지반의 동적특성에 기초한 액상화 평가법 (II) : 타당성 검토)

  • In this study, a new methodology fur the assessment of liquefaction potential is proposed and characteristics of the proposed methodology are verified. The experimental parameter of this methodology, that is, the plastic shear strain trajectory, is compared with the dissipated energy. It is shown that this parameter can express the liquefaction behavior which is generated by excess pore water pressure. This methodology takes advantage of the shear strain time history determined from the site response analysis based on the real time history of earthquake. In this site response analysis, shock type and vibration type records of similar predominant frequency are inputted. The liquefaction safely factors based on the proposed methodology and Korean detailed assessment related to the classical method are calculated from the results of the site response analysis and laboratory dynamic tests. Through this study, it is found that the proposed methodology can not only simulate the liquefaction behavior of saturated soils hut also express the seismic characteristics reasonably : leading type, predominant frequency, maximum acceleration, duration time.

  • 시스템을 안정적으로 운용하기 위해서는 신뢰성 기반의 로그관리시스템이 필요하다. 모든 이력이 기록되는 로그의 위·변조를 방지하기 위해 로그 정보를 블록체인 기술로 관리하여 어떠한 상황에서도 시스템 이력을 신뢰할 수 있는 서비스를 제안한다. Hyplerledger Fabric을 사용하여 인증 관리 시스템에 의해 허가된 사용자만이 접근할 수 있다. 또한 분산원장에 한 번 기록된 로그 파일은 더 이상 수정하거나 삭제될 수 없다. 이 시스템을 활용하면 로그 파일의 위·변조 여부를 판단하는데 발생하는 시간, 비용, 불확실성을 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Seismic Reliability Analysis of Offshore Wind Turbine with Twisted Tripod Support using Subset Simulation Method (부분집합 시뮬레이션 방법을 이용한 꼬인 삼각대 지지구조를 갖는 해상풍력발전기의 지진 신뢰성 해석)

  • This paper presents a seismic reliability analysis method for an offshore wind turbine with a twisted tripod support structure under earthquake loading. A three dimensional dynamic finite element model is proposed to consider the nonlinearity of the ground-pile interactions and the geometrical characteristics of the twisted tripod support structure where out-of-plane displacement occurs even under in-plane lateral loadings. For the evaluation of seismic reliability, the failure probability was calculated for the maximum horizontal displacement of the pile head, which is calculated from time history analysis using artificial earthquakes for the design return periods. The application of the subset simulation method using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo(MCMC) sampling is proposed for efficient reliability analysis considering the limit state equation evaluation by the nonlinear time history analysis. The proposed method can be applied to the reliability evaluation and design criteria development of the offshore wind turbine with twisted tripod support structure in which two dimensional models and static analysis can not produce accurate results.

  • 고온구조물은 고온에서의 운전상태에 따라 복잡한 하중이력을 경험하게 됨으로써 상온에서 발생하는 손상 기구와는 달리 온도 의존성을 가질 뿐만 아니라, 상온에서 볼 수 없는 크립-피로의 상호작용에 의한 손상현상이 나타나게 된다. 따라서 고온 구조물의 건전성 평가를 위한 비탄성 해석을 신뢰성 있게 수행하기 위해서는 구조물의 비선형 거동을 비교적 정확히 예측할 수 있는 통합 구성방정식의 개발 및 적용과 온도에 따른 재료의 물성치 확보가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 통합 점소성 모델인 수정된 Chaboche 모델에 대해서 내연적 시간 적분법을 적용하여 ABAQUS의 UMAT으로 구현하였고, 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 INCONEL 718을 사용한 단순 인장해석, 반복 소성 특성해석 및 크립 해석을 수행하여 프로그램의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. 또한 원공이 있는 평판에 대한 예제해석을 수행함으로써 개발된 프로그램이 고온구조물의 건전성 평가를 위한 비탄성 해석에 적절하게 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Nonlinear Time History Analysis of Long Span Cable-Stayed Bridge Considering Multi-Support Excitation (다지점 가진을 고려한 장경간 사장교의 비선형시간이력해석)

  • For analyzing seismic performance of long-span bridge for multi-support excitation and preparing technically and efficiently for a variety of design demands, the new module on multiple excitation was built in a reliable non-linear analysis program(RCAHEST) by using Influence Line Method, and the study on structures was performed previously. Also, the result of the analysis through RCAHEST was compared and verified with commercial finite element analysis program SAP2000 by using the feature of Multi-Support Excitation. From these results, nonlinear time history analysis considering multi-support excitation was studied after designing FE model of Incheon cable-stayed bridge. It was proved that the maximum response of horizontal displacement decreased as the time delay was increasing at all nodes of bridge. And then the serviceability of analysis model was evaluated by performing ultimate analysis under changes in maximum acceleration of seismic load data.
