Various kinds of ordination methods such as correspondence analysis and canonical correspondence analysis are used in community ecology to visualize relationships among species, sites, and environmental variables. Ter Braak (1986), Jackson and Somers (1991), Parmer (1993), compared the ordination methods using eigenvalue and distance graph. However, these methods did not show the relationship between population and biplot because they are only based on surveyed data. In this paper, a method that measures the extent to show population information to biplot was introduced to compare ordination methods objectively.

This paper proposes a new visualization method based on cloud technique which uses internal relationship of user correlation and external relation of social network to visualize user relationship hierarchy. The visualization method of this paper can well represent user-focused relationship hierarchy on social networks by a correlation matrix. The importance of a access node reflects into user relationship hierarchy by exploiting external relation of social network. Users of the method can well understand user relationships on account of representing user relationship hierarchy from social networks. In addition, the method use hadoop and hive for distribution storing and parallel processing which the result of calculation visualizes hierarchy graph using D3.

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, programming education is becoming more important. However, it takes a lot of time and practice for students to acquire programming skills. In particular, students find it more difficult to learn object-oriented languages such as JAVA and C++, which are widely used in the industrial field. In this paper, we propose a visualization method of object interaction that can help to educate the concept of object-oriented programming, understand functions, and improve source code analysis and understanding. The proposed visualization method automatically changes the existing source code and visualizes the operation of the objects simultaneously with the execution of the program.
To apply the player's experiences to the design process of the game levels set by the developer, gameplay behavior analysis is needed. The player's behavior which is different by how much he got experiences from the play has generally been studied by one computational approach based on numerical data and the other HCI(human-computer interaction) approach through heuristic analysis. For the analysis of the player's behavior with the level design patterns in FPS(first-person shooter) games, in this paper those methods are used to code 12 main types of action, which in turn is simply categorized into 5 kinds of behavior pattern. Along with it, an optimized visualization is proposed to intuitively compare the flow of behavior pattern with the time of playing game.

Visualizations have played an important role in understanding new insights of users of social network for social network analysis. Most of the previous works of visualization focus on representing user's relationship on social network by a complex multi dimension graph. However, this method is difficult to identify the important of relationship to focus on personal user intuitively. Besides, the user's messages to reflect the interrelation between users is insufficient, since most of visualization methods represent the user relationship using information of interaction between nodes on networks. In order to resolve above problem, this paper proposes a new visualization method to visualize user based hierarchy that uses internal relationship of users by fuzzy relational product and external access information of network.
It is common to quantify the concept of interest in the social and human sciences to test a research hypothesis. In such a case, it is strongly recommended to investigate if the procedure is appropriately designed and implemented according the research purpose since the quantification procedure highly affects the result of statistical analysis. In this work, we propose a visualization tool which enables us to check the construct validity of a measurement tool (such a questionnaire) in a concise and convenient way based on a penalized factor analysis model. We illustrate our method with numerical simulation and real data analysis.
Although a number of information is emerging in the big data era and studies on the infographic studies for delivering it effectively are becoming an issue, the visualization study on the numerical information delivered through the credit card statement is very poor compared to its importance. The effective visualization method following each information characteristics was by analyzing the numerical information types focusing on the credit card statement. The type of the figure information classified into the comparative analysis, progress of time change, proportion, relationship, scope, and distribution, and it was made into the graph form proper to the nature of each information to study the most effective and ideal visual form. Therefore, this study is significant because it suggests a control point of the visualization by pointing out an effective visual form for delivering the numerical information that appears on the credit card statement with the figure characteristics.

Recently, the visualization method of social network service have been only focusing on presentation of visualizing network data, which the methods do not consider an efficient processing speed and computational complexity for increasing at the ratio of arithmetical of a big data regarding social networks. This paper proposes a cloud based on visualization method to visualize a user focused hierarchy relationship between user's nodes on social network. The proposed method can intuitionally understand the user's social relationship since the method uses fuzzy to represent a hierarchical relationship of user nodes of social network. It also can easily identify a key role relationship of users on social network. In addition, the method uses hadoop and hive based on cloud for distributed parallel processing of visualization algorithm, which it can expedite the big data of social network.

This study analyzes the time-space variability for the weekly passenger flow of the Seoul Subway system based on the dynamic visualization methods. For the purpose, we utilize one-week T-card transaction databases. By applying data mining algorithms, we extract passenger data for edge flows, on/off passengers at each subway station per minute interval time. It is practically intractable to analyze such spatio-temporal passenger flows by general statistical techniques. We employ dynamic visualization methods to analyze intuitively and to grasp effectively characteristics of the diurnal passenger flows on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway system during one week. As the result, we found that substantial differences exist on the spatio-temporal distribution patterns among days as well as between weekdays and weekend. We also investigates the time-space variability among eight major centers, and we found wide differences in their spatio-temporal distribution patterns.
Genome sequencing and microarray technology produce ever-increasing amounts of complex data that needs statistical analysis. Visualization is an effective analytic technique that exploits the ability of the human brain to process large amounts of data. In this study, biplot approach applied to microarray data to see the relationship between genes and samples. The supplementary data method to classify new sample to known category is suggested. The methods are validated by applying it to well known microarray data such as Golub et al.(1999), Alizadeh et al.(2000), Ross et al.(2000). The results are compared to the results of several clustering methods. Modified graph which combine partitioning method and biplot is also suggested.
