The players didn't use mouth guards a lot regardless of oral injury experiences and education about that, and there was no change in the way they looked at mouth guards, either. The findings of the study illustrated that sport players as well as non-players weren't aware of the importance of mouth guards, though sport players were exposed to the danger of an oral injury all the time. Not only players but non-players should learn about the seriousness of an oral injury, and the necessity of oral guards should be stressed to prevent it.

  • This study defined the types of barrier and conducted the impact of barrier in adventurous sports. There are many research on adventurous sports, but these researches have several limitations. First, these studies have overlooked important role of barrier in adventurous sports. Also, previous studies on barriers haven't showed the moderating effects of personality on barriers. So, this study attempts to complement the lack of existing research and this purposes of the study is as follows. First, it is to show the positive impacts of barriers on absorbing experience that had been overlooked in the previous researches. Second, it is to propose the moderating effects of personality-arousal seeking, reactance tendency- on the relationship between barriers and absorbing experience. Survey research is employed to test these hypotheses. Previous researches, such as marketing, adventure sports, hedonic research, have been referenced to measure constructs. We collected data involving various adventure sports, and used 171 respondents to analyze these data using moderating regression. In the final section, we discussed several limitations of our study and suggested directions for future research. We concluded with a discussion of managerial implications, including the potential to advance understanding adventure sports and implying an enhanced ability to satisfy target consumers of it.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare junior high school students' conceptual changes about force and motion and their interest in science between a group with the instruction including sports experiential learning activities and a group with traditional instruction. In addition, for a group with sports experiential learning activities, students' conceptual changes and interest were examined according to the degree of their sports-experience before the instruction. The subject was 7th-grade students(N=82), and they were divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. The conceptual changes were positive in both groups. In the multiple choice questions the experimental group students(20.0%) were more positively changed than the control group students(17.2%). The number of students who responded with the right explanation increased 26.7% in the experimental group and 10.4% in the control group. The interest of the control group was significantly increased in the topic dimension(p<0.05). The interest of the experimental group was significantly increased in the experiential activity and the communicative activity(p<0.05). Students who had much sports-experience showed the most positive changes. • Flow is a concept closely related to intrinsic motivation and is considered a positive factor in sports performance in sports psychology. The purpose of this study was to confirm the addictive nature of Flow through previous studies and propose a new hypothesis that Flow may decrease intrinsic motivation in the long term, unlike previous studies. In line with adaptation level theory and the law of diminishing marginal utility, the satisfaction derived from Flow is continuously decreasing. At some point, the individual's progress is limited and they reach a point where they no longer experience FLOW. However, the individual will continue to try because the desire to experience FLOW again exists. However, failure to experience FLOW and repeated failure will lead to sadness, which will decrease intrinsic motivation.
