Design of Smart TV-based Integrated Gateway Solution for Wellness Service (웰니스 서비스를 위한 스마트 TV 기반 통합 게이트웨이 솔루션 설계)

  • 본 논문은 헬스케어 서비스에 대한 소비자 인식의 변화에 따라 최근 대두되고 있는 웰니스 서비스에 관한 연구이다. 현재 많은 소비자들이 여러 가지의 홈 헬스케어 개인건강기기를 통해 자신의 건강을 관리하고 있지만 제조사 별 고유의 소프트웨어와 통신 프로토콜을 내장되어있어 개인건강기기마다 각기 다른 방식의 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 이처럼 현재 제공되고 있는 헬스케어 서비스를 보다 효율적으로 제공하기 위해서는 다양한 개인건강기기와 서비스 제공 시스템간의 표준화된 인터페이스를 지원하기 위해서는 통합 게이트웨이 솔루션이 필요하다. 특히, 각 시스템 구성요소 간에 IEEE11073 PHD(Pelsonal Health Devices), HL7(Health Level Seven) 등의 표준을 통하여 건강정보 데이터 센싱, 취합 및 전송, 분석 및 피드백이 표준적인 방법으로 운용되어야한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 환경에서 ISO/IEEE11073 표준을 준용하여 다양한 통신 인터페이스를 통한 개인건강기기의 연결성을 지원하는 통합 게이트웨이 솔루션 및 헬스케어, 건강관리와 관련된 서비스를 위한 건강정보 모니터링 앱을 설계하였다.

Exploring Strategy of Health Contents for Smart Media : Utilizing Information and Data (스마트 미디어 환경에 적합한 헬스 콘텐츠 전략 탐색 : 정보와 데이터 활용을 중심으로)

  • With the emergence of smart media and devices which are able to continuous data monitor, the usage patterns of access and acquire health information are changed. Health contents should be provided to promote intrinsic motivation considering the way of cognizing and processing data in human information interaction. For this, planning for prevention centered health contents is required to utilize personal information and medical big data for engagement with the contents. Therefore, this paper reviews previous studies of health communication dealing with users' information literacy like e-health literacy. In addition, the paper classifies ways of communication when mediate IT as immediacy, interaction and data capturing. In conclusion, strategies of health contents for promoting users' intrinsic motivation are explored and its implications are discussed.

  • As the number of elderly people rapidly increases, needs of patient safety monitoring system also increases in indoor and outdoor medical facilities. With developing technologies related to sensors and information and communication technology, various dementia patient monitoring systems have been proposed. However, previous studies that depend on wearable devices provides limited functionalities. In this paper, we designed an integrated system that includes smart devices to monitor patient's status, user friendly UI/UX, and interaction with hospital information system. Medical teams and carers can receive satus of each patient in real-time and trace the location of dementia patients outdoor as well as indoor by using the proposed system.

  • To build effective u-healthcare system based-on smart-cloth, design of hardware and software modules for suitable smart-cloth is needed. And a gateway smart-phone program for sensing signal's collecting and processing is needed to send sensing bio-signal from smart-cloth to sever. To do this, it is an important to design and describe modules well for having no difficult problems when implementing later. Also, if medical team do not monitor bio-signals sending from smart-phone frequently and these signals' change values which diagnose automatically due to building expert system based on rules/facts is informed for users, it will be an useful u-healthcare system. Therefore in this paper, by presenting design method of u-healthcare system hardware and software modules based on smart-cloth which prepared these functions, this design method is showed for applying a common use u-healthcare system's production usefully.

  • Today all kinds of smart devices are being developed with various researches on wearable devices that support smart computing on the human body. Skin diseases continue to rise including freckles, pimples, atopy, and scalp trouble due to the environmental and genetic factors, and people pay bigger medical bills to treat their skin diseases. There is thus a need to develop a smart-phone or table-based smart healthcare imaging system of high portability and diagnostic accuracy capable of analyzing and managing various skin problems related to skin care. This study proposed an integrated system combining the Smart Mi Band, a wearable device using moisture and UV sensors based on IoT, on the hardware part with the sensor information monitoring software.

  • Recently consumers pursue optimized health condition and high leveled quality of life through active promotion and prevention activity of health as the importance of health during daily life is emerged to meet the demand of aging society. Thus healthcare service is evolved into smart healthcare stage using various type of smart devices depending upon the needs of consumers. However the connectivity and interoperability among individual medical devices and smart devices are insufficient, thus data accumulation through individual medical devices is also insufficient. This thesis suggest the methodology to establish the connection among Bluetooth HDP and individual medical devices based on smart TV in addition to the monitoring of biometrics.

  • Recently, as the uncontact service is activated in earnest due to the Corona 19 virus, the necessity of system development to provide non-face-to-face contact remote medical service has increased. In this study, we propose a smart healthcare system, Rm_She(Remote Medical Smart Healthcare System). Rm_She can collect and manage various vital signs information by connecting various healthcare products that detect bio-signals based on IoT to one application. The health check app (HC_app) is used to connect vital sign measurement devices to a wireless LAN and receive vital sign values from the HC_app. Then, the vital signs are output to the user on the smartphone, and the corresponding information is transmitted to the healthcare management server. The healthcare server receives the measured values and stores them in a database, and the stored measured values are provided as a web service so that medical staff can remotely monitor them in real time.

  • Due to technological developments and the joint effect of both new social and economic needs and constraints, telemedicine is expanding rapidly through a variety of applications. Especially, owing to the rapid aging of society and increasing the wish for well being life, we take interest in health care services for people with special needs who wish to remain independent and living in their own home. We have focused on tole-monitoring to real-time medical signal and environment factor which is an influence on medical signal. We monitor the six signal(medical signal and environment factor), and transmit that signal to computer on bluetooth network. We get the information after using the some digital signal processing system, and display that information on the real-time monitoring system. We developed the measurer as portable type in older to non-restrained monitor.

  • From the point of view of u-healthcare, heart rate is so useful for both illness for taking care of patients and wellness for improving the level of health and wellbeing. It is because heart rate is a significant clinical variable for all kinds of diseases as well as an indicator of the intensity of exercise. Recently, a number of various wearable heart rate monitors have been released to check people's status in the body by monitoring their heart rates. In addition, a number of smartphone applications have been released to conveniently monitor the status of exercise by using heart rate monitors. However, all of these applications are limited to a personal usage. In this paper, we will design a system to simultaneously monitor heart rates coming from multiple users in a real-time, and develop an Android application to apply the system. The application mainly features a simultaneous monitoring of heart rates coming from multiple users, allowing to be effectively applied to fitness centers.

  • With the advancement of wearable devices and wireless body are networks, smart healthcare systems based on such technologies have been emerging to effectively monitor patient health and disease progression. In order to implement viable smart healthcare systems, the security and privacy of patient's personal health information must be considered. Yang et al. proposed a privacy-preserving authentication scheme using key-insulation technique for remote health monitoring system, however, key-insulation technique is not properly adapted to their scheme which in turn causes a security pitfall contrary to their assertions. Besides, Yang et al.'s scheme does not guarantee user anonymity against healthcare service provider. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss the security concerns for Yang et al.'s scheme and present an improved anonymous authentication scheme.
