Enriching Core Ontology with Domain Thesaurus (분야 시소러스를 이용한 코아 온톨로지 확장)

  • 본 논문에서는 분야 시소러스의 개념과 관계를 이용하여 코아 온톨로지를 확장하는 방법을 제안한다. 분야 시소러스의 개념을 코아 온톨로지의 상위 개념으로 분류하고, 시소러스에서의 광의어(Broader Term: BT)-협의어(Narrower Term: NT) 및 광의어-관련어(Related Term: RT)들 사이의 관계는 코아 온톨로지에서 정의한 의미관계로 분류한다. 유사도와 빈도수 기반의 방법으로 개념 분류를 수행하였고, 관계 분류에서는 두 가지 방법을 적용하였는데, (i) 훈련데이터가 부족한 경우를 위하여 규칙기반 방법으로 BT-NT/RT관계를 isa와 기타 관계(non-isa관계)로 분류하고, 패턴기반 방법으로 non-isa관계를 온톨로지를 위한 의미관계로 분류한다. (ii) 훈련데이터를 충분히 가지고 있을 경우, 최대 엔트로피 모델(MEM)을 적용한 분류 방법을 사용하되, kNN방법으로 훈련데이터를 정제하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 시스템을 구축하였고, 실험 결과, 시스템 성능이 사람에 의한 판단 결과와 비교 가능한 수준이었다.

  • Even though security monitoring and wiretap seem to be same things from the current legal point of view, these two concepts are different. But because the researches related to the differences between wiretap and security monitoring, there are some confusions about these concepts, so there are some side effects. In this paper, we try to explain the differences between wiretap and security monitoring in the aspects of object, scope, target and application method.

  • 전기통신망의 기능은 크게 전송 기능과 서비스 기능으로 나눌 수 있는데, 계층망 개념은 전송 기능을 클라이언트-서버 관계를 갖는 여러 층으로 계층화한 개념이다. 이러한 계층망 개념을 확장하면, 다양한 망이 통합되는 환경에 적용할 수 이다. 본 논문에서는 계층망 구조에서 QoS를 보장하는 연결 설정 방안을 제안한다. 제안된 방안에서는 각 계층마다 계층 관리자를 두고, 전체 망에 대한 정보를 유지하고 경로 설정을 담당하게 하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 연결 설정 방식을 보이고, 이를 QoS를 보장하는 순차적 알고리즘과 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문은 온톨로지를 이용하여 단백질 상호작용 네트워크를 개념적으로 분류하여 레이아웃하는 방법을 제안한다. 상호작용 네트워크를 이루는 단백질은 온톨로지의 표준 통제 용어에 대한 주석 정보를 가지고 있으므로 동일 분류에 해당하는 통제 용어를 가지고 있는 단백질들은 근접한 곳에 위치하도록 레이아웃한다. 이는 기존 물리적 레이아웃에 기능별 그룹화를 해줌으로써 복잡한 네트워크를 개념적으로 분석할 수 있도록 한다. 또한, 동일 분류에 속하는 단백질들을 한 노드로 대응하여 레이아웃 알고리즘을 수행함으로써 기존의 그래프표현 알고리즘 보다 빠르게 시각화할 수 있다.

  • Role-Based Access Control Policy has a role hierarchies in which a higher case role can perform permissions of a lower case role. However, it is necessary for a lower case role to perform a higher case role's permission, which is not allowed to a lower case role, basically. In this paper propose a temporary permission delegation method. As the result of a temporary permission delegation, junior roles can perform senior roles' permissions in a dedicated interval.

  • 온톨로지의 구축에서는 각 개념간의 관계의 정의가 매우 중요하며, 이를 표현하고 정의하는 많은 일련의 과정이 진행되고 있다. RDF 스키마내부에 시간관계 개념인 "before"를 정의하고 에이전트가 "before" 시간관계를 해석 할 수 있도록 Logic정의를 시도하였다. 또한 시간개념을 사용하여 온톨로지를 구출할 때 발생할 수 있는 이점에 대해 살펴보았다.

  • Along with the transformation of the knowledge-based environment, e-learning has become a main teaching and learning method, prompting various research efforts to be conducted in this field. One major research area in e-learning involves adaptive learning systems that provide personalized learning content according to each learner's characteristics by taking into consideration a variety of learning circumstances. Active research on ontology-based adaptive learning systems has recently been conducted to provide more efficient and adaptive learning content. In this paper, we design and propose an adaptive learning system based on the concept lattice of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) with the same objectives as those of ontology approaches. However, we are in pursuit of a system that is suitable for learning of specific domains and one that allows users to more freely and easily build their own adaptive learning systems. The proposed system automatically classifies the learning objects and concepts of an evolved domain in the structure of a concept lattice based on the relationships between the objects and concepts. In addition, the system adaptively constructs and presents the learning structure of the concept lattice according to each student's level of knowledge, learning style, learning preference and the learning state of each concept.

  • This study aimed to analyze the evolution of general ideas concerning the element and the atom. In the scientific viewpoint, the modern idea of the element has been variously revised by the ancient Greeks, Boyle-Lavoisier, and Dalton. The definition of the atom was confused with that of the element from the ancient Greecian era to Lavoisier's era. The definition was also changed by Dalton and Rutherford. An analysis of the definitions of element and atom as presented in science textbooks for secondary school students and in general chemistry textbooks revealed that these definitions from diverse eras are confusing and inadequately explicated. The definition presented in one textbook was contradictory to the definitions in other textbooks. This tendency has been sustained in the textbooks from the 4th to 6th science curriculum. Therefore, we need to clarify the definitions of element and atom in order to help the students gain a better understanding of these scientific concepts.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the concept mapping tools and provide implications for designing tools that support collaborative learning activities. For this purpose, representative concept mapping tools - Convince Me, Knowledge Forum, Cmaptools, Mindmeister, Belvedere - was analyzed by using the 3C(Communication, Coordination, Cooperation) framework. We have applied three research methods; 1) literature review on design principles of tools, 2) heuristic evaluation, 3) focus group interview. As a result, most of comcept mapping tools supported communication functions but partialy supported coordication and cooperation features.

  • In case of sketching a conceptual model in 3D space, it's not easy for designer to recognize the depth cue accurately and to draw a model correctly in short time. In this paper, multi-strokes based sketch is adopted not only to reduce the error of input point but to substantiate the shape o) the conceptual design effectively. The designer can see the drawing result immediately after stroking some curves. The shape can also be modified by stroking curves repeatedly and be confirmed the modified shape in real time. However, the multi-strokes based sketch needs to manage the great amount of input data. Therefore, the drawing space is divided into the limited spatial cubical grids and the movable infernal vertex in each spatial grid is implemented and used to define the surface by the multi-strokes. We implemented the spatial sketching system which allows the concept designer's intention to 3D model data efficiently.
