A Study on the Revision of Construction Standard Unit Price for Interior Finishing Work and Carpentry Work (건설공사 표준시장단가의 수장공사 및 목공사 개정에 관한 연구)

  • A construction site survey is carried out for the Construction Standard Unit Price(CSUP) in order to establish a standard for the appropriate estimated price. This paper proposed the revised plan by surveying the 56 sites under construction from March to October 2022 for interior finishing work and Carpentry work. It is expected that the revision of the CSUP for interior finishing work and Carpentry work will more accurately reflect the actual construction situation and contribute to improving the adequacy of the CSUP.

Analysis of the Work Breakdown Structure and Cost-Rate for Small Interior Works in Apartment (아파트 소규모 인테리어공사의 공종별 분류와 보할의 분석)

  • The research, based on 200 cases of small interior works in6 different floor area types of apartment in Busan, intended to compare the architectural work with the breakdown structure and analyze the cost of general small-scale interior work, by work type. The outcome of the research is outlined as follows. (1) Given the cost of small interior works for apartmentsranges from 10 million to 15 million won, which correspond to apartments ranging in size from $79.2m^2$ (24PY) to $105.6m^2$, it is necessary to implement a cost analysis for material cost and labor cost for these two types. (2) Given that small interior work for apartments comprises mostly finishing work, unlike the categoriesof general architectural work, it is more reasonable to classify the works into 9 categories,which include embellishment, wood, tile, paint, metal, toilet, sink & furniture, electric & mechanical and other works, instead of the 22 divisions stipulated in the Korean Architectural Standard Specification. (3) After reviewing the average cost of small interior work and rate by floor area, it was found thatthe average cost of 24PY was 10.5 million won, of which metal work accounts for 12.8%, embellishment work 17.8%, and toilet 19.7%, while sink & furniture appeared to be the highest with 22.1%, while for 32PY, average cost was 12.5 million won,which comprises 7.4% wood work, sink & furniture 20.2%, toilet 23.4% and embellishment work the highest at 28.6%, indicating that embellishment work accounts for the greater portion.

  • This study proposes a new classification system and analysis methodology for time delay risk of apartment projects. And this study proposes the classification of major trades and risk level and risk index by performing expert-oriented interview and survey report on a national scale. The purpose of this study is to present basic data for time delay risk management system through the analysis of risk level, risk index and rank of major 5 trades(earth work, structure work, masonry work, window and door/glass work, and interior finish work) in apartment projects.

  • Construction projects have unique characteristics that these may be carried out by contractors thus, cost should be estimated before execution. The importance of cost estimation and cost check has become increasingly emphasized in all phases of construction project that would be performed numerously. It is needed that owner have to estimate reasonable budget, and contractor should predict the bid price. However, there are lack of standard cost estimation method before quantity takeoff, cost analysis method, and cost database thus, the method of area cost, such as square foot method, is as used as ever in Korea. Therefore, this research suggested standard cost database structure CUBE, and analysis method of item quantity per one household categorized by area type. Whereafter, database of all item quantity of finish work has been built with 90 building cost data, and validated it's availability. In this respect, the suggested method and the findings from this research are expected to help enhancing the efficiency and productivity of cost estimation in Korea.

  • 본 연구는 한국수자원공사에서 국제기후변화협약 등 정부의 신재생에너지 개발계획에 적극 동참하고, 우리공사에서 운영관리하고 있는 수자원시설물의 잠재에너지를 발굴하기 위하여 경남지역본부 본포취수장에 설치하여 운영관리중인 시설용량 99kWp의 태양광발전설비에 대한 주요 설비와 운영관리를 하는데 불편한 사항에 대한 개선내용을 소개함으로써 향후 우리시스템과 유사한 조건(무인사업장)에 시설하여 운영할 설비를 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 내용을 소개하고 있다.

A Preliminary Study on Energy Consumption Analysis in Storage Space for Exhibition Facility by using Absorption Material (조습재 사용에 따른 전시시설 수장고의 에너지 사용량 분석에 대한 기초연구)

  • As solve the shortage problems of storage space for exhibition facilities, the South Korean government is establishing plans to expand storage space for exhibition facilities. From a medium- to long-term perspective, an energy-efficient storage space for exhibition facility is needed to implement efficient state budget execution and achieve national greenhouse gas reduction goals. In this regard, this study analyzed the energy consumption of storage space for exhibition facilities according to the use of absorption materials. To this end, a case study was conducted on 12 storage spaces for exhibition facilities in South Korea. Compared to the storage space using the absorption material, the storage space without using the absorption material showed an increase in HVAC system operation time by 47.50% during summer periods and 58.85% in non-summer periods. In particular, the analysis found that in the case of storage for 'H' exhibition facility, the energy cost was reduced by 2,721,700 won/year after remodeling work using the absorption material. It is expected that the findings of this study can help the government and the person in charge from construction companies to construct energy-efficient storage space room for exhibition facilities.

Classifying Sub-Categories of Apartment Defect Repair Tasks: A Machine Learning Approach (아파트 하자 보수 시설공사 세부공종 머신러닝 분류 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • A number of construction companies in Korea invest considerable human and financial resources to construct a system for managing apartment defect data and for categorizing repair tasks. Thus, this study proposes machine learning models to automatically classify defect complaint text-data into one of the sub categories of 'finishing work' (i.e., one of the defect repair tasks). In the proposed models, we employed two word representation methods (Bag-of-words, Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF)) and two machine learning classifiers (Support Vector Machine, Random Forest). In particular, we conducted both binary- and multi- classification tasks to classify 9 sub categories of finishing work: home appliance installation work, paperwork, painting work, plastering work, interior masonry work, plaster finishing work, indoor furniture installation work, kitchen facility installation work, and tiling work. The machine learning classifiers using the TF-IDF representation method and Random Forest classification achieved more than 90% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. We shed light on the possibility of constructing automated defect classification systems based on the proposed machine learning models.

  • 우리나라 수자원이용량의 47%를 차지하고 있는 농업용수는 공사관리지역(64%)와 지자체관리 지역(36%)으로 이원화 되어 있고, 공사관리지역은 2000년 이전 103개 농지개량조합이 개별적으로 관리하다가, 2000년 이후 농업용수의 효율적 관리를 위하여 2000년에 3개기관(농지개량조합, 농지 개량조합연합회, 농어촌진흥공사)이 통합하여 현재 한국농어촌공사가 되었다. 2000년 이전 103개 조합에서 저수지, 양배수장 등 수리시설물과 용배수로 등 평야부 시설물에 대한 각종 정보가 통합적으로 관리가 되지 못하였고, 매년 발간되는 농업생산기반정비사업 통계연보를 통해서 체계적인 관리가 되어왔다. 2000년 이후 통합 공사가 출범하면서 전국단위의 종합적이고 체계적인 정보관리가 가능해졌으나, 농업용수 정보(자료)가 개별 조합별로 산재되어 있고 전산화 되어 있지 못하였으며, 시설물의 설치년도가 오래된 경우 자료자체가 존재하지 않은 경우가 많이 있고, 소규모 시설의 경우 정보(자료)관리의 필요성에 대한 효용성에 대한 인식이 낮으므로 하여 농업용수관리 정보화에 많은 어려움이 있었다. 또한 기초적인 정보(자료)관리 구축이 되지 못한 상황에서 개별 시설물 또는 수계별로 이 치수관리를 위한 의사결정 지원시스템 구축에도 많은 어려움이 발생하였다. 이는 공사 내부 뿐만 아니라 외부의 우려와 비판이기도 하였다. 이러한 어려운 여건에도 불구하고, 우선 지난 10년 동안 농업용수관리의 기초적인 정보(자료) 관리 구축을 실시하여 수원공과 평야부 시설에 대한 정보구축을 실시하였고, 각 사업별로 RIMS, RAWRIS, TIMS, 지하수넷, UIRRI, 4대강상황실 등의 정보화 시스템을 구축하였다. Post 4대강, 유역통합관리 등 수자원환경의 내외적인 여건변화에 맞춰, 2010년 부터 개별 시스템에 대한 통합 농업용수관리 정보시스템 구축을 위한 마스터플랜을 수립하고 있고, 금번 마스터 플랜수립결과를 바탕으로 실질적인 시스템 구축을 완료하게 되면 명실상부한 농업용수분야의 최상위 시스템으로 자리매김 될 것이다.
